The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I do wish they had some hot foods (waffles or eggs maybe) on the breakfast but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

Special mention of Soan, the desk clerk/concierge. What a nice welcome. He is definitely customer oriented and directed us to some great dining and sight seeing nearby. We will be coming back. Thanks again Soan.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was for the price. It was recently updated and very clean. 15 minute drive to Ybor city.

I enjoyed my stay.

There's something wrong with the entire air conditioning system in the hotel. The rooms had to be set at 65°. We walked in it was freezing and damp. There was a dehumidifier, a portable one in each room, which is bizarre to begin with. Ours did not work. it was malfunctioning. The humidity was at 90% with the temperature at 65°, the maintenance man spoke no English I mean zero. The front desk guy had to come up who is bilingual to translate, but they still didn't even know between the two of them how dehumidifier works. They kept saying they'll be a light flashing when the water fills up in the unit. I said the unit is not working. That's why there's no water in the tray. They finally did bring a new one to the room and it started to work, but we had to listen to that thing running all night long.Also there's no free Internet unless you're at Hilton honors member. I requested three times for Management to call my room. They said there was no management on the site but they would have them call me because they're on call. No one ever called me or my room. I also gave them my cell number but no call, this place is not worth the price. It is very badly managed.

The breakfast really wasn’t breakfast at all… it was fruit and yogurt and maybe if you were lucky a pastry. The property could be a little better maintained, the pool was dirty, but overall it was an ok stay.

Very good first day service with Mr sona checking us in. Unfortunately we had to ask for our room to be cleaned and we only got new towels, and bed was not changed or fixed. TV decided to not work, unsure why but things happen. Continental breakfast was very good and enjoyable each day!

Pros- The staff, especially Kristy, was very helpful & friend)y. There was a nice variety of fresh items on the breakfast buffet. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. Cons- Unfortunately the cons deal with cleanliness. During our stay clean towels were brought in, and the garbage was emptied, but our beds were not made, nor did anything, including the bathroom, seem to get cleaned. Also, the outdoor pool did not look as though it was clean and ready to use. If not for the daily room cleaning issue, I feel like I would give this hotel a higher recommendation.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The coffee 24/7 was a nice bonus. However, the hot water for tea was likely used as a coffee urn previously and never properly cleaned so the tea tasted like coffee.

The breakfast fell a bit short. Myself and others were curious about the absence of meat and egg options, aside from the refrigerated hard boiled eggs. There was an abundance of bagels and muffins though. Being that I don’t drink cow milk, I did appreciate the oat milk option for my cereal. Speaking of cereal, the bran flakes in my Raisin Bran was a tad stale.

Pool is dirty. Cochroach in the room. Loud kids all night running up and down hall, banging on doors, had to call office twice. Elevator goes crazy and goes to any floor it wants or doesn't move at all.

Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and friendly. During my stay I extended and the both the Manager on duty as well as Front Desk/Jonathan and the housekeeping team were diligent in making a smooth transition from one room to the next. I would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommend.

There were kids playing everywhere. In the front of the lobby. Shoes everywhere including the entrance of the hotel. Parents had clothes and bottlea all over. It was so noisy. And yes even at midnight kids werw running up and down the halls on the room floors. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING but I paid for a good nights reat. It was tereible. If your gonna have soccer teams or alot if kids dor any event, you should didclose tgis to your guest when booking. and bottles all over the tablea

This is a nice, clean hotel, at a convenient location just off I 75 in Brandon, Fl. That being said, if you're expecting to be staying at a Hilton, you're going to be disappointed, as the only thing close to being a Hilton you will get is the Honors credit. The breakfast offerings consisted of cold boiled eggs, half frozen bagels, and cereals, pretty disappointing. C'mon, how much would it be to offer up at least a hot waffle or pancakes like other hotels do without the fancy name like this hotel has. If you want any kind of restaurant, you will need to drive a ways, unless the local Hooters fits your bill, and I'm pretty sure they're closed for the breakfast crowd. The staff is very nice, and check in was quick and easy, but as stated, not a Hilton by any means. You will have a good nights sleep though, the beds are very comfortable.

The room was clean, we were able to check in way earlier and they accommodated us after the person in our party checking in lost their wallet. Decent little breakfast, quiet area, and close to the highway and anything you could ever want.

They did let us check in 1&1/2 hour early.

The rooms were okay but I have to applaud the daytime front staff. I was going to a wedding and needed help with my dress and the front desk manager was right there to help zip me up no questions asked. She was amazing

Sona who checked me in was very friendly and personable he is an asset to the Spark by Hilton Tampa Brandon team! The room was clean, bed was comfortable BUT I could not connect to WIFI even though I am a Hilton Honors member the front desk even tried to help me - with no success. Otherwise a good experience, I would stay there again and would recommend.

Close proximity to the highway staff was excellent very courteous and professional room was exceptionally clean perfect for my short. Stay definitely will come back when I’m going on a cruise in February. Looking forward to it.

It wasn’t the staff they were fine it was mostly the stuff I usually expect at my room like having a microwave in my room instead me walking out side of my room walking down to the lobby all the way to everybody eats for breakfast and a coffee maker in my room it would had been nice to have them instead walking all the way down to the lobby and getting some coffee and the third and fourth thing is my doors from my main door to my room to bathroom door my main door it will get stuck like it had fresh pain out something I had to force it to open ether side from out side to inside the room and the lock on the door hinge I had trouble to opening it up to lock the door and my bathroom it was hard to close it and opening it too.

I made my reservation and paid a month in advance. I called October 28th around 11:30 am to inform the front desk that we would be a late arrival, get there around 3 or 4 am and our room preference. We got there about 3am on November 26 as I said we would previously. The first thing the clerk said after I gave my info is that I should have called ahead which I promptly replied that I did so a month ago. So either the person I spoke to previously did not note down what I said or she did not bother to look at the notes on my reservation. The interaction with the overnight clerk was unpleasant but thankfully short as someone might have already made my key card ahead of time because I noticed my name was written on the inside. The room was exactly what I booked, it was clean and breakfast was good.

Stayed for a soccer tournament and hotel was great . Very clean , convenient and worked out for us . Front desk Somon ( I think that’s how u spell it ) was amazing he was sooo friendly , helpful and just nice !!! Hopefully you get him when you check in !

The location was perfect with many shops, restaurants, and activities nearby. Most of the staff were friendly and approachable, while all were professional. We traveled for the Monster Mash, and required some packages to be delivered to complement the uniforms, etc. There were no issues with retrieving these.

I called the reservation number and verified my son could check in at 18 yrs old. He was in Tampa and it was midnight. He had a 4 hour drive to Tallahassee and was exhausted. It was unsafe for him to be on the road. The person at the reservation desk said it was fine. I explained I found the room on Travelocity for $90 cheaper and would book it on line. I did a non refundable knowing my son was just down the street and would be there soon. When he arrived, the hotel clerk would not let him check in, even with me on the phone explaining the situation. They wouldn’t make an exception after I explained that the reservation desk told me it was ok.

This was the worst stay ever. The hotel had two groups which were terrible. They were drinking in the lobby very loud and our room was next to the front desk. kids running my and down hall playing tag.

Everything was almost perfect. The price, the location, the staff. The rooms were well maintained. The TV had multiple different streaming services. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The only thing missing was a decent breakfast, a poor variety of options, you had three choices, oatmeal, cereal, or a bagel. I would've loved some eggs and sausage, or even just one waffle maker! But for the price of the room its hard to complain. We had a wonderful time spent at this location.

Staff didn’t communicate well. We checked in early and maintenance was not aware and attempted to get into our room while we were in there. Then, this morning before checkout, housekeeping attempted to come in two hours before we were scheduled to check out while we were still sleeping in the bed.

This hotel and the pictures did align. If it wasn’t an emergency and I wouldn’t have made my reservations at this place. I’m so disappointed in Hilton for this misrepresentation of there hotel. I have pictures of the roach and video footage of the running toilet. This experience has been horrible!

Breakfasts consist on a bagel bar. The room at first glance looked clean, but it smelled humid. The ac stopped working in the middle of the night a then started doing a very strong noise. The area is not very convenient if you need to ho downtown often.

The staff was great. Front desk agents Jessica, Michael, and Soner were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was the AC is noisy when it clicks on & off throughout the night. I used the fan on function but it didn’t help.

The property was absolutely HORRIBLE. When i pulled up ut had the strongest odor of marijuana. It definitely is a very old building. The staff were not helpful. The said breakfast was included. The breakfast consists of toast, bagels and cold cereal, on the 1st morning there was orange juice and apple juice, on my 2nd morning the machine was only filled with water. I checked out and found a comparable price at a nearby hotel, that even had a CLEAN pool and also a hot tub. It was a horrible experience even tho it sounded goid on line.

There was no water pressure in the shower, the water was coming out like a sink. The front desk worker told me she could switch my room. I packed up and went back to switch rooms just to be told the system is down and I couldn’t switch. The clerk told me maybe I could just shower in the morning as if my comfort in a room I paid for wasn’t important.

the room was clean. i didn't like that i paid $203 to book online and then when i get to the hotel they swiped my card again for another $100. They claimed that once the cleaning crew check the room I'll get that #100 back. It's been 5 days and i all haven't got it back. What's the purpose of booking online when you have to pay more once you get there?

I'm a essential worker coming from Virginia to Florida to help cut electric back on working 18 hours a day .I come to the hotel after work they give us rooms which the heat doesn't work and it's 40 degrees out next morning I try to book another day to stay they refuse my service

I like the location the fact that it was an inside hotel that you could enter from the inside and not from the outside the staff was friendly. The room was very clean. It was a good stay for a short stay in Brandon. I lived in Tampa and I had never seen it but it’s a cute little cottage hotel For a short stay when I come to see my friends The only thing I can say I did not like is I showed up at 1 o’clock in the afternoon from a long drive and I asked if I could check in. I thought I requested early check-in and she said I requested late check-in. Your check-in is listed in military time. I don’t speak military time as I’m not in the military. I came back at 2:50 PM and she still would not let me check in a couple came in right as it hit 3 o’clock and she waited on them first I really didn’t appreciate it considering I had waited two hours to check in. I think you need to be a little more lenient with your check in policy. They are at larger hotels I am from New York, and they do not hold people to such a stringent Schedule schedules change and people arrive earlier and I even had my luggage and she didn’t even offer to keep it at the desk that needs improvement. It was more the attitude than the actual rule of check-in but I don’t like traveling in traffic so I show up earlier in the afternoon , there were rooms available and I think that she should have lifted the rule since I came only two hours earlier, so I did not like that also your hundred dollar deposit has not lifted off of my debit card and my bank account yet. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the room when I left I would appreciate it lifting off of my debit card for there’s no reason for it to be on there in the first place.
