Great room close to Amphitheatre

Clean room, and very friendly staff.

Staff up front at check in was rude and hard to understand. I hadn’t realized they charged for parking as I’ve never seen a hotel charge for that. When I inquired, the front desk lady very rudely and dramatically rolled her eyes at me and told me all hotels do. I tried to book a Room with a bathtub in it for my daughter, I only got one with a shower. The pool was freezing and very low lighting. The shower had shaved hair on the walls which was gross. And the tv was very basic dish channels. My daughter and I stayed for one night for a girls night but I won’t come back. Very disappointed in the hotel for staffing someone so rudely and the room being dirty like that..

Room was spacious & clean. All the staff were nice & helpful. I just didn’t like the indoor pool being so dark inside with no lights.

Just about a mile to mall on one side and if you can take the Florida heat , cross over the road and you have even more stores!

We were woken up by staff members walking into our room without knocking nowhere close to checkout time. Then a staff member walked in AGAIN without knocking as we were getting dressed and ready to checkout. Again NOWHERE near checkout time. We were very disappointed with the lack of communication between the staff about what room was empty or not, and being constantly walked in on without knocking and waiting for a response.

I did not like that there was a $10 parking fee for a basic hotel I expect that at a high end or resort hotel, but not this one. Also, the hotel showed a lot of wear and tear.

Clean room, convenient to restaurants. Parking was tough when we got back at 11pm, had to create a space back near the pool.

Close to the exit and highway. The rooms were spotless and the staff was friendly and helpful.

As soon as we walked in, it smelled like old hotel. Our room was very dirty, had a wet carpet, carpet powder all over the carpet plus on the beds. My son’s socks were orange when he stepped for one minute. Very unsafe and unsanitary room. The Kleenex box was used. The next morning I woke up extremely congested due to the mold and mildew. The entire hotel smelled that way. We had to check out. Definitely not a safe, and clean place to stay in.

Room condition was lacking. Strong musty/mildew odor, air conditioner was loud and shut iff every few minutes, and room furniture stained and dated. We requested a room change which was honored. Ac worked better but cleanliness mildew odor and overall condition underwhelming.

The elevator broke on the first day and was not fixed until later the next afternoon. Half of the TV channels were not available. No coffee just water available except for breakfast and dinner.

The room had a smell it wasn’t bad but there was a smell and the elevator broke but the staff fixed it extremely quickly. I overall enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

My only issue was the hallways, it smelled like mold/mildew. Spraying the carpet a few times per day with Pine-Sol or Fabuloso will combat the smell in no time.

The hotel room wasn’t bad at all. All the girls at the Starbucks was very pleasant and warm. The Asian lady and the Spanish guy were so cold when speaking to you and it wasn’t inviting at all. Seems like they were irritated and most of the times she was on her phone. The area next to the property was under construction which didn’t seem safe for ppl driving into the property. But big kudos to the Starbucks ladies each day they had a smile and was welcoming to all the guest. Not sure I would stay there again.

I was accommodated with early check in from the airport. Got to my room, toilet worked but didn’t work, after 1 night discovered some unwanted guess moved to another room. The best room darkening blinds ever. The hotel overall needs some work. The indoor pool looked dingy and uninviting and there’s no ice machine in the hallway.

Check in was wonderful. I hate I can’t remember the front desk agents name, but she was great. The room was nice. Only downfall is the positioning of the AC, and there’s no microwave, other than that. Great property great stay.

The service we received was remarkable. The host at the front desk was particularly hospitable and knowledgeable about the area when i asked where places in the city were located and even suggested nice places to visit. The housekeeping staff could be a little more friendly. As we were getting off of the elevator, the housekeeping cart was in the way and we had to squeeze past it instead of them moving it, or even offering to do so. The hallway leading to our room needed to be vacuumed...we saw dead cockroaches on the floor. The room was clean and comfortable, though, so i was relieved about that. All amenities were fine. The hot water was great, bed was comfortable, no real complaints about noise or anything. We paid for 2 nights, but only stayed one... not because of any issues with the hotel, but because we missed our animals at home and we live close enough to drive home.

Yeah I never made it there. All my fault I missed the plane. Couldn't cancel my registration, car rental, my luggage is in Tampa, and I missed my dad's funeral. So one star if that's bias idk what to tell you. I think if you book it on Expedia you should be able to cancel it on Expedia. Like fr why would you not be able to make changes, and/or cancel?

The Hotel itself is clean and the staff were nice. However this hotel is on the busy highway, down a long road in the middle of a wooded area and if you dont have a car you need to uber everywhere. It also only has an indoor pool. They said we can use the outdoor pool at the hotel across the parking lot however we did not.

It was for a quick family birthday trip. It was average hotel. The beds are very hard but it did the job for what we needed it for.

Everything was fine but the room was a bit noisy. Next door i heard the television on one side and snoring on the other side.

Front desk staff was great. They worked with us on late check out due to a very late flight. Room door slammed and door control arm was leaking oil. Paint peeling from ceiling over bed. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean as was the indoor pool.

Typical nice but not over the top hotel worked for a in between drive and was really nice staff was super helpful. Bedding was super comfy and clean. I even had a allergy issue with the scent of the complimentary soaps in the shower and they were nice enough to drop off unscented

The stay was good just did not have the room ready by 3 the one I ordered so I had to get another room. The women who was at the bar was hiding so we couldn't see her and she had no idea what she was doing. We asked about the mimosa flight that was advertised she look confused.

The staff was wonderful and very kind. The room was clean, although one of the beds had lumps, and was very uncomfortable. However, the other bed was comfortable, but that meant that two people did not sleep well. The pool was also a strange color. The water did not appear to be clear.

This was a surprisingly pleasant experience at this Marriot. I was not familiar with it. Although the outside of the hotel was older, the interior and the room was updated, clean, and smelled fresh.

My client spoke to the front desk and let them know everything was great except the cockroaches he saw on his last night, so he was pretty disturbed about that but everything else he really liked.

My mom and I loved the lady at the desk (please forgive the categorizing, but I did not catch her name--sweet Asian lady). When we were parting ways (us to Virginia, my parents to Michigan), she was so kind I wanted to come back to the hotel because of her! My mom said she had a kind word to say every morning we passed her. What a wonderful soul! I wish her well!

My credit card was used fraudulently to book this room. After several times of trying to work with their Operations Manager, I was denied and charged. I cancelled my credit card but found the people to work here quite rude, hiding behind ridiculous “formalities” even though they could have tried to help. I will never stay at a Marriott property in the future based on the employees at this one.

Overall nice and clean place. Price was quite high but perhaps that was due to time of year. My biggest issue is I was told on the phone that we were down for a late check out at 2:00 p.m., then we were subsequently told that they could not honor that.

We stay here often when we go to concerts at the Mid Florida amphitheater. Its an easy drive from the hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained.

My stay at Courtyard Marriott was excellent. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The staff was super nice. One thing I didn't like was that their toilet is very small; as if it was meant for a child and I wish they had complimentary breakfast.

EXCELLENT ROOM SET UP

Upon arrival the staff that checked us in was VERY friendly, and courteous, we felt welcomed. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was out of service, which was one of the main reasons for booking because it’s been raining almost every day, so what better way to guarantee pool time than with a indoor pool. So there was that, then the elevators, hallways, and room smelled of cleaning supplies, or something very dominant, but it was tolerable. Beds were comfortable!! Bathroom had nice amenities, the cable tv strictly had only that, JUST CABLE no movies to rent. The bistro was closed for dining hours which was another downside for us , and lastly when asked if we could do a late checkout over the phone , the male at the front desk was very stern & vague “no, absolutely NOT, we don’t do that here, absolutely not” was his response. Other than that….beds comfy! Check-in staff friendly! Bathrooms A .

Clean and had enough supplies. The place offered breakfast a la carte only. This would have been an inconvenience if I had come with my little kids. For quick trip, this was ok.
