Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU

The best hotel shower I’ve had (I dislike bathtubs) with a wonderful sage and lavender shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The staff was helpful and time we had a question. The only negative was the road noise — loud car engines and motorcycles on University Street —outside our 4th floor window. Not the hotel’s fault. But if you are sensitive to loud noises you should ask for a room that faces south. I fell asleep quickly anyway because the bed and pillows were so comfortable.

My son and I traveled to visit the ASU campus and golf at talking stick. I was shocked with how nice of a hotel it is for the price point. The rooftop at night is fun. Has a small gym that we used. The coffee and snack shop has everything you need. Good coffee is a plus. The lobby is huge and very inviting with the way they have it designed and decorated. The hotel is also super convenient to everything. We asked the front desk for some campus guidance. They had a map of the campus, and a college employee told us to check out Taco Boys since it’s a local favorite. We had a fantastic dinner at Three Thirty Three and delicious lunch at Pear Bistro. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Tempe.

Perfect stay even though it was for one night traveling between cities. Perfect location to airport. Very nice and updated hotel. The salt water pool was amazing.the staff was so helpful with all my questions. Thank u for a wonderful stay.

It’s very nice and clean. Parking was expensive and inconvenient for the most part. For how much you pay it just seems like parking should be a little easier and maybe not as expensive. It was VERY loud at night. They know it, they even put a white noise machine in the rooms.

Stayed here for the Breakaway Arizona Festival. The room was clean and the location was convenient to access local restaurants. I thought there was supposed to be a shuttle nearby this hotel to the festival but that turned out to not be the case. Regardless, rideshare to Sloan Park was not an issue and there were some late night food options in the area.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding night here and the staff was so friendly and helpful! I wanted to have something special for my wife for our night and they were very accommodating! Jordan in particular offered to grab the roses I purchased from Whole Foods to allow for the room to be decorated! Amazing staff, we couldn’t have had a better night thanks to the team!

The staff is unpolished, rude and disrespectful. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay at this “Holiday Inn Express” disguised as an Omni branded hotel. Frankly, it is time for the Omni franchise agreement to be revoked, as this place is just an awful ghetto mess!

The pool is beautiful! I wish the bar was open, as well as the rooftop area. I would have loved to have ordered food and drinks at the pool.

This is a great hotel and location, The area is very busy and there is a ton of street noise on weekends. I had no idea AZ has so many loud unmuffled cars and motorcycles.

Stayed in a King room. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is pretty new and is in great condition. Great location for walking to ASU campus, bars, restaurants etc. Be aware of the charge for valet parking. Enjoyed our stay and will be back when we are in Tempe.

Older carpet, bathrooms very nice with a step in shower with good water pressure and plenty of room. Mattress was OK. Only 2 elevators to service the entire hotel. Spent on average 10-15 mins just to get up or down. Place is ok.

Room was dirty and hallway leading up to room. The bathroom was the worse part which included a dirty toilet and plumbing issues. The shower floors at every use and the toilet clogged up twice.

Every staff member i encountered was engaging, hospitable and beyond helpful. The area is safe and the people are friendly. Thank you being a consistent and reliable addition to travel plans!

Fantastic staff, loved my server Steven in the rooftop restaurant. The movie Casablanca was playing such a nice evening there were fire pit tables to enjoy my wine. The tapas style food was great I could try several items. Lei was great at the desk. It was my birthday and the staff put a small treat in my room as I was alone for my celebration. These thoughtful touches keep me coming back! Great breakfast chilichiles at the downstairs restaurant.

We live in AZ, but were at the festival for the weekend & have stayed at all other hotels for prior festivals, but wanted to try the Omni due to the size of the room. Once back in the evening, there was non-stop loud mufflers, motorcycles racing up and down the streets, loud music, sirens and screaming. And it never stopped all night long. We were up all night trying to sleep with apps on phones for loud fans, white noise, nothing worked. We had booked for two nights, but drove 1 hour home Sunday night just to sleep in our own beds and had to waste over $500 on that night alone. Miserable experience. There is no sound proofing and no way to get away from the noise. We left around 10:30 pm and the front desk didn't even ask us why we would be checking out when we clearly had paid. Nobody asked how are stay was or that maybe it was a red flag that we were leaving early. Disappointing as it is a pretty hotel, but the noise was insane. It was like being out on the street with zero sound proofing. We were on the 6th floor. Never again and wish I could get my money back for the one night.

The restaurant was quite good--staff attentive, food delicious. The front desk staff was unhelpful, especially when trying to negotiate a late checkout due to the half-marathon. I've stayed in many, many hotels on race days, and have always been accommodated with a later checkout or alternative facilities. The Omni staff was just so strict and unmoving--and a bit ridiculous in method--regarding the late checkout.

We were very pleased with our stay! Our check in could not have been easier. The staff were very helpful. We arrived at 10am and there was a room ready for us. The room was clean and the bathroom was a nice size. We really appreciated the pebble ice and filtered water machines in the hallways.

Bell boys were chating inside the hotel while a client was straping his baggage to the top of his car, room service ends at 10pm wich is inconvinient, its a very nice hotel to spend the night but if you where specting to ask for beverages or dinning after dark there are no options

Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the room was great. The valet parking team is particularly friendly and always hustling. It just gets added to the room charge, not charged separately so be sure to bring cash to tip them since they do such a great job.

The valet staff and front desk were extremely welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and relaxing, and the toiletry amenities were great quality as well. The lobby was decorated seasonally and gave a cozy feeling to the modern hotel structure.

The hotel was over priced for what it had to offer. There was no bartender by pool and no services by pool area. Also, the gym had a water dispenser but no cups. The hotel itself was clean and hotel staff was pleasant. Would have appreciated accurate website description about pool services ahead of time so I wouldn’t have high expectations.

It was my birthday and they decorated my room to celebrate and brought me a piece of strawberry cake !!! I also loved the rooftop it was amazing aesthetic and great drinks . Only thing I was there was a little self parking area.

Our room was an excellent layout floor plan with beautiful taste of decorations and function. The staff was very professional and courtesy to me and my wife. One only bothers me is I was charged for driving into hotel lobby for designation charge of $25 !!! I was never informed about this special designation charged…

The room was well-appointed but unremakable in terms of brand differentiation from competitors. For remote road warriers requiring max screen real estate, extra computer monitors were available for a (higher-than-expected) fee. However, today we know that monitors are very inexpensive - not withstanding the almost certain volume discounts any major global hospitality brand would receive. Unfortunately, once I start to feel the least bit "nickel-and-dimed," its pretty much guaranteed I won't be back. That may not be a threshold issue for everyone... One point on the rooftop bar and pool: the pool deck bar was closed, and it seemed kind of like there was no policy around when or when itl was open. Lack of a solid policy based on any financial calculus derived from occupancy status or other factors which, in turn, drive margin is a mistake IMO. Also, the PHX area is arguably, at least in equal measure, a leisure destination - particularly amongst a subset of people where: Relaxation = Pool + Beer (or maybe a fancy "umbrella drink) applies. Its Arizona, folks. Its hot and sunny. We think you can do BOTH the pool AND serve poolside beverages (alcoholic or otherwise). In sum: Perfecly fine if your company's footing the bill for your business travel.

The staff were incredible! From the front desk , to Cameron at the bar , Cory at the Cafe and everyone else that I was so fortunate to have interacted with on my short stay I am blown away! I feel as though the staff enjoy their jobs and genuinely want you to have a wonderful time! In 2025, this doesn’t seem to happen but Omni is an exception! Thank you for a short and sweet stay!

Can’t wait to go back!! Five Star hotel. Very friendly, room service was quick and the food was great. I think a great deal for the room, the only thing that I can think of that is negative is be aware they charge $42 dollars for valet and that’s the only parking option and also charge $32 for a destination fee which is silly. I never heard of that before. It’s for the water and fridge and coffee machine in your room, but when you get to your room it says enjoy your complementary water and coffee but that’s a lie because you pay a $32 dollar fee for that. But I’ll still go again, even with that crazy fee.

Restaurant is over priced and not so good. Only has valet parking at $39 a night very expensive. Room cleaning has room for improvement.

The street is loud, walls are thin, and you could hear everything in the hall way. Bartender forgot to put our food order in until a hour after waiting. I was given water bottles upon arrival and one of the bottles had brown debri in the water. There was a contact lens in the floor. The toilet was hard to flush. I was switched to a new room for the next night stay. Inconvenient to repack everything and move to a different floor. Staff will not go above and beyond to help. The credit card machine was not working so I was given. Form to fill out myself. My standards for the Omni hotels have de flourished with this stay. Also valet disappeared with my car keys and I had to wait awhile to get my car keys back to get luggage out my car.

I wanted to give my niece an experience for her 12th birthday. I also wanted to start a new tradition because we love ourselves a good tradition! Immediately, I thought a slumber party would be so fun, but like, elevated. A hotel room! I chose the Omni at ASU because we all work there and my niece is super proud of her mom. I decided to get a Mountain View room. They asked if I wanted to join the club, and so I did. It prompted me to tell them if I was celebrating or had any requests. I asked if they could put us on a higher floor for maximum impact and print out some pictures for her birthday with a note from me to be in the room when we arrived. (Someone had done that for me once in my 20s, and I remember feeling extra special.) When we checked in, they let us know we had been upgraded to a suite, we were high up, the photos were beautifully printed on a poster, and she freaked, just absolutely beaming! There are two bathrooms! There's a huge soaking tub! We had a living room with a tv and the bedroom was huge! The decor was so charming. We took pictures at every sitting area. The views were stunning! Then! About ten minutes after we arrived, room service arrived with a birthday cake and Shirley temples! We had the best time, and we can’t wait for next year!

Lots to do in the area, which is a positive and a negative. Parking was a chore. Had to resort to valet. Mill Ave runs late so there was a bit of noise/traffic. However, the staff was great and the rooms clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Omni Hotel at Tempe ASU. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location near ASU with plenty of restaurants and shops around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable. The only downside was the sound of doors slamming from housekeeping and other guests, which could be a bit disruptive. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d definitely stay again.

This hotel is the perfect choice for visiting ASU the stayed here many times and always had a stellar experience. You’ll find the staff so helpful and kind. They truly go the extra distance to make sure you have a lovely stay. Walkable to campus and restaurants. A whole fools just acccross the street. Amazing 3rd floor pool lounge and killer rooftop deck.

Interior, staff, pool, cleanliness, are all excellent. My only issue is the cost of parking, and during family week, like all the other hotels they inflate the rates by 4-5 times. I’m just throwing this out there, I know most of the lower cost hotels usually do it, but it would be awesome if they had a free breakfast buffet !😬

The staff were very helpful and very kind! The front desk asked if there was any occasion as to why we were staying there and told them it was my birthday. About 20 minutes after we got in the room, they brought a birthday dessert! Great service and very convenient if you’re looking to have a fun night out due to the bars around the area.

We spent two nights with our only complaint being that they never cleaned our room even though we made sure to have no signs on the door. They did offer to clean it when I called but we opted for towels only. Valet parking is pricey at $39/ night.

Beautiful urban hotel. I enjoyed getting pistachio iced Americanos each morning broom the coffee bar. They were the best I have had and I will make sure to always get them while I stay at this hotel. I also enjoyed having a fluffy white robe to use in my room. The roof top pool was kept at the perfect temperature as well.

I love the esthetics of the hotel the staff was great I wasn't feeling well when I got there. The manager was nice enough to get me some tea even though the cafe was closed. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind I literally felt like family. I will most certainly be back.

It was a beautiful hotel with a quiet atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Very impressed with the stay and location. Give five stars foe reason, meaning everything is excellen, if it happened for me to be in AZ once again, i will stay again at Omni Hotel.

We stayed in a room with a king bed and everything from the mattress to the pillows were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again. Only bad thing is the water pressure in the shower was pretty low.

Beautiful hotel and more than I would normally spend for a business stay. I was only here for a day and night, but it was perfect for working a little and lounging by the pool. Tons of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I’ll be back!

This is a wonderful property! Rooms are immaculate and clean! Rooftop pool is exceptionally well maintained and refreshing! Wonderful bar and beautiful place to have dinner! The food was plentiful and delicious! I will definitely stay at this property again when I return to Tempe! ♥️

Beautiful Hotel.

We absolutely love Omni hotels and try to stay in them as often as we can when we travel. The hotel is always impeccable, the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are always extremely clean, the cleaning staff is super helpful and nice. Plus they always have very nice amenities. We will definitely be back soon!

You shouldn't have to pay like your in Las Vegas. Over charge for valet only. should have a self park with no charge because of overpriced rooms in summer to Tempe Arizona. I came on a business trip, no one goes to Arizona in the summer.

Parking is terrible, shouldn't have to pay high cost to park

Pool is very dirty though. Not cleaned enough. That should be done daily. Other than that it’s good to go.

The property was well kept and convenient. Friendly staff.

Even though the property advertises as having their own EV chargers the manager claimed OMNI didn’t have access to an EV charger. We had been valeting the car and were initially told the car could be charged with the valet. Then on day two we were told OMNI doesn't have chargers and proceeded to receive extremely confusing directions from the front desk to ASU owned chargers that we could not initially find. This caused major stress and disruption as we ended up driving to a shopping center to charge. Even worse- we happened to walk through the valet side of the garage and they do have their own EV chargers with OMNI stamped in parking spaces! Not the service we expected from a four star hotel and actually ruined the experience at the hotel. I have contacted Omni corporate twice and yet to hear back.

It was my first experience at Omni and won't be the last, thanks to him!

One of the BEST hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The entire hotel staff (EVERYONE) - was so pleasant, kind and welcoming. The front desk staff were TOP tier & so accommodating!!! I can’t wait to return.

Absolutely lovely stay! I had such a wonderful experience here. Very clean facility, and extremely kind staff, particularly Lei and Lexi at the rooftop bar made that my stay incredibly memorable. The hotel is also located central to many places to eat and things to do, so many areas are within walking distance. Would highly recommend and will definitely return here should I find myself in Tempe again.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel is very clean.. pool area was very nice and fun place to hang out. Management even sent up mimosas and truffles to celebrate my husband and I anniversary. So thoughtful.! We will definitely come back and stay again.!

Most of the staff were kind and welcoming, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. That said, a few employees seemed disengaged or less enthusiastic, which was a bit noticeable. The only real downside was the parking fees, which felt a little excessive and could definitely be more reasonable. Still, the comfort, convenience, and aesthetics made it a solid stay. Would recommend—with just a heads-up about the parking cost.

Excellent decor. Very modern and good theming. Parking was valet only but moderately priced.

Beware. Parking is an additional $40/day as well as destination charges of $25/day.
