The hotel was beautiful. There was a great breakfast lay out. The parking garage was great. Best part it’s less than a 5 min walk from the stadium for graduations!

Great location, daily breakfast options were great. I love the coffee bar and the lemonade in the afternoons for the Arizona hot heat. The rooms were great and having a full kitchen was nice.

When staying at a hotel, the most important feature is whether it is clean. The Residence Marriott fit this requirement in all areas. The breakfast selection was extensive. The eggs tasted & looked like scrambled eggs. The area was clean. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was stocked well with towels. It was a great stay.

My family stayed one night so we could attend a local graduation. Had a great time. Food was good (they had a waffle bar), room was clean and the pool area was fun. If I’m ever in the area I’d come again.

Breakfast was fully loaded with great options - perfect way to start our day! Only one staff member acknowledged our arrivals and departures from the building on the last few days of our stay. Others kept their focus on their computer screens.

Amazing hotel and staff. Right next to ASU campus. Beautiful sunrise hike right out the front door. And the number and variety of restaurants and bars made this one of favorites.

Amazing to be honest. Very clean. Great amenities. Comfortable beds. Room had full kitchen. Rooftop was so nice. We left a hotel on campus and booked this one it saved the trip.

Nice location, easy to access many local places. Parking is safe but comes with added cost. Breakfast options are nice with lots of selection. Gym is convenient and well lit, nice view compared to other hotel gyms. Outdoor seating is not a huge area, but relaxing. Overall very nice place to stay.

Looks like the property was very welcoming to pets. We did not go into the hot tub.

It’s a well located property next to ASU with a lite rail station across the street. Very convenient to Mill Avenue. It is a good choice when visiting the area

I had an emergency business shipment and the staff handled the issue as the pros they are! My early check-in was ready and the overall stay was very relaxing. Bring your swimwear as the 11th floor pool and views at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. The complimentary breakfast was nice too. Couldn't complain about the rooms at all. I highly recommend this hotel!

Location was perfect, there were so many restaurants and stores close by. The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice and the gym was clean. The pull out couch was not comfortable.

What I dislike, which is not very often when I stay here, the curtain in my room couldn't close all the way. Which some sunlight came through. And had a problem with the living room TV, the remote wouldn't work. I did call down and they switched out the remote, but still wouldn't work. Luckily I was technology savy, I got it to work myself.

The hotel was great, and the room was huge, but we got a handicap-accessible room. The only thing I didn't like was the tiny bathroom sink for such a big space. The views were amazing; we could see Mill Ave, Phoenix, the bridge, and Tempe Town Lake. From the roof, we could see everything, like the ASU campus and A Mountain. The pool was a bit small, but it was nice, and there's also a nice little gym up there. I didn't hear any noise unless we were outside. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.

One of the best stays very clean cozy and near everything by mill ave. I highly recommend this as a choice to stay!

The Residence Inn was very clean and I love the the 2 bedroom suites with 2 bathrooms and mini kitchen. I will definitely will book again at this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located across the tram. We took it to Chase field for a baseball game. Nice and fast ( 8 stops ). Area is very safe with lots of shopping and dining option. The roof top pool was a hit with the kids. Room was clean and very big. Parking in the garage adjacent to the hotel was very convenient. Will stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located. The staff was very helpful. We had an issue our second night, when we returned to our room after a long day out, looking to relax…. We entered the room to find the fire alarm going off in our room. There was a test earlier in the day and the alarm stayed on in our room. We had to wait for almost an hour, and maintenance would not be there until after 10 pm. So we had to switch rooms, which was a huge inconvenience. Our room was given a discount, however it was still frustrating. Additionally, the hot tub didn’t work and the website was not updated to reflect that. We were assured when we checked in, that it would be fixed by the morning and it was not fixed by the time we checked out. A hot tub at the end of a long day would’ve been very nice to enjoy.

The view of the city from the pool area, our room, and the location was close to everything… other guests were awful just leaving their trash by the elevators in the parking garage… other than that was an awesome stay!!!

Beautiful rooftop patio with heated pool, Jacuzzi and fire pit. Large rooms with separate rooms, for privacy with living room area and kitchen.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. They charge $15 per night for parking in a parking garage. Check in was fast and easy. This is a great place to stay.

Close to our destinations. Walkable, but also close to light rail. Didn't need a car. Only negative was very loud car traffic on Friday and Saturday nights.

We loved our stay at the residence Inn! It hit all the notes: location (easy to walk to many restaurants, shops, outdoor hiking trail, Tempe Town Lake, beautiful view of A mountain, felt very safe walking around the area), rooms were clean comfortable and had everything we needed, fabulous extra amenities - hot tub, fire pit, gym and a generous breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly helpful and always there to greet you. We loved it.

The only drawback I encountered was with the parking. I wasn't informed about which areas of the parking garage were reserved for hotel guests versus non-guests. Unfortunately, I received a citation for parking in a reserved spot, as I mistakenly assumed it was meant for hotel guests. So, just be cautious about where you park in the garage.

Beds were very and uncomfortably hard to sleep on. Non of us could get a restful night sleep during our whole stay. Love the mini kitchen, so convenient with dishwasher. Everything else was superb, working and clean. Employees were right on the job when something was needing attention. Rooftop pool/hotub/gym/fireplace was great. Beautiful weather and sights at night. However I don’t believe we’ll stay again due to the hard beds.

Great location, nice rooms and nice facilities. My booking got screwed up due to auto populating my name backwards. Byers, Tony vs Tony Byers. Therefore they said I didn’t have a reservation. Turned into a comedy of errors. Then it looks like I didn’t get genius credits for the 4 night I stayed at the hotel.

Super friendly and helpful staff. My daughter and I were there for 4 nights and had a great time. The rooftop pool is a great place to hang out!

Best hotel in downtown Tempe with all the amenities you would need: fridge, microwave, oven and full kitchen. Awesome view if downtown and very walkable to everything. Will definitely stay here again!

Jamaciana I believe was her name, but she made my stay very pleasant and I hope I can return to this hotel particularly because of her soon! She was amazing, welcoming and provided great hospitality.

Very clean, actually very quiet for me and my two boys 12/9. Super spacious and thought out things in rooms like the swivel TV. They had cookies and lemonade stand during the day. Parking so close and cheap. Only thing we were slightly disappointed about was the pool. It looks full size in pic but is only 3ft. We still were able to play and cool off. Great views and rooftop area though all together. Def staying here on game night again for ASU!

Wonderful from start to finish

This was on top of "incidentals" too.. So after IMMEDIATELY taking the money from my account they said it would returned in 7 to 10 days.. i got a "sorry about that".. I didn't get to do the things i wanted to do on my vacation because my spending money was hijacked for no reason.

Close to every thing

This property is advertised as having a restaurant. It does not which was very disappointing and had their advertising been accurate, I would have gone elsewhere. For the $420 price tag I expected some place to eat or have a drink on the premises. The breakfast is set up in the large lobby area. Staff were excellent and very friendly but the price is high and it feels like a lower grade place overall.

Great location and very clean. My only complaint is no chairs on the balcony. The main reason you get a balcony is to sit outside.

Nice weekend getaway to catch the O's vs Dbacks games. Hotel stay was great. The check-in staff gave us great tips about the Metro-Rail, which made getting to the games and back easy and smooth. Property seemed newly remodeled and fresh. Amenities were great, shower was awesome, bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. Great location! Would book again for sure!
