They offer very limited breakfast options. The breakfast sandwich I had was very oily and left a funky taste in my mouth. Not any nearby breakfast options that I noticed. Otherwise great location and nice staff.

We really like staying here. It's within walking distance of one of the downtown Tempe light-rail stations, and it is then within walking distance of restaurants and nice neighborhoods to explore. The hotel itself is clean and quiet.

The staff was very helpful, telling us about some places in the area to eat. The location was great, we were able to walk around Mill Avenue, and we specifically got this location because we had scheduled a boat ride for the next day. The views from the rooftop were amazing and that was one of the highlights of this hotel. It is a little noisy just because of the light rail, but again you look over that with all the other great things it has to offer. The room was nice, and very modern.

The maintenance crew is definitely need improvement. The bathroom was clogged and left a sign to be cleaned and when I came back to the room, I found it still unclean and since I came so late, I called in the morning and asked to get plunger to fix it, he came and fix it and didn’t bother to clean it and don’t mention how we found our beds sheets not correctly feted and had to fix it myself and mirrors not cleaned. The pool was not heated as advertised, the mini fridge doesn’t fit even 5 gallon of milk, and no microwave in the room. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re are planning to stay longer than 2 days.

A nice place to stay that is relatively central in Tempe. The rooms were HUGE! Decent amenities, ok breakfast bar on site. The only thing they don’t tell you is that housekeeping is “on request “ would stay there again.

The hotel was updated and modern. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I traveled with my 4yr old and the staff were showing him how to use the fuseball table and made a point to talk to him and entertain him for a minute. He especially loves eating our dinner on the rooftop lounge watching to the airplanes. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom but it wasn’t overwhelming.

Hotel was nicely located in the heart of Tempe. Overall stay was good. Room outlets seems to have issues when trying to charge and a bit noisy if your on the side of the train tracks. But overall well worth the price and lots of things to do in lobby including a bar and kitchen.

It was a very safe and easy walk to the ASU stadium and Mill Ave. there was never an issue getting an uber to go to the mall, airport or other places. I would absolutely stay here again!

Came in for my son’s graduation. I was pleased with the efficiency, kindness and cleanliness of the hotel.

clean but the front office receptionist was terrible arguing and yelling at a client who got very upset because she threw the key card and my granddaughter was very scared to see all the fighting in the front lobby very unprofessional the place is a very nice place though

Everything about this property was fantastic. The staff were helpful with any questions I had. The hotel was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was close to a lot of dining options.

The room was really clean and the air conditioning was nice. We didn’t get to try out the breakfast but it was well advertised. The room was smaller than expected but regardless of that we had a very nice stay.

I live in town but needed a place for proximity to an event early the next morning. Vib was very clean & comfortable. Rooms are modern & have everything you need. I didn’t have a chance to take advantage of the amenities but they had a pool table & bar downstairs, rooftop mentioned during check-in, & a fitness center.

The STAFF was amazing ~ so helpful and fun! They were super friendly and made the trip so enjoyable. Huge shout out to Travis and Bobby ~ they were the best. They made sure we were well taken care of. I forgot the front desk girls name (ugh) but she was so adorable and sweet. Loved her! Will definitely come back!!!!!

It was a nice stay the room was quiet and clean with tile floors and no carpet which is great! The room itself is large and spacious and has a great tv with lots of movies on to pass some time while getting ready for the day. The beds were comfortable and clean and the pillows were cozy. We had a breakfast sandwich while we there and it was delicious! The coffee and Bloody Marys were good too. The front desk people were warm and inviting with very fast check in especially if you do the pre check in online, super fast. Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance and even when walking at 11pm felt like a safe area. I would totally stay here again it’s a chill spot.

The room was clean and cool. I loved the rooftop but it is hard to access as only one elevator goes up there and the wrong one comes often when you call them to go up. Also, propane was out in all of the table fire pits. Except one that went out after our first night. The pool firepit worked and was nice. Gym was cool and organized. Staff was absolutely friendly and helpful from the front desk to Leo in housekeeping. I would stay again. Perfect location and area.

The room and property were very clean and updated. But, the hotel has closed it's bar since last year and the restaurant is very limited in options now. So you need to look elsewhere for food options.

Staff was wonderful and the hotel is located just down the street from many eateries. The room however had a very loud A/C that kept us up throughout the night. These should be upgraded.

This was our first time staying here and we stayed here for the Women's Final Four. Everything was nice. There was a train that was close by and we hardly heard it. The rooms were nice and modern. Bathroom is a little small, especially the shower but its functional. Also the hotel is close to many eating places and walking distance. No complimentary breakfast. Also there is a $20 parking fee per day. Other than that we had a nice stay here. I would recommend this place.

This was our first time staying here. It was a nice little getaway weekend to AZ and this hotel was excellent!! All the staff was nothing but amazing!! The only thing is I would have liked a microwave in the room for the late night meals but other than that it was great!!!

Would have enjoyed water in the room :) Casting option for the TV did not work and Wi-Fi had some issues. Happy with the stay overall. Will stay again for sure.

The cleaning conditions of the room needed some attention, when we walked into our room their was dirty eyelash clusters on the floor, bathroom seemed dusty, maybe just no one had used it in a while. Cleaning could be just a little better. Everything else was great and this is the second time we stay here.

The room was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I loved the area. From the moment of check in everything went smoothly. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Unfortunately, the parking lot is small and unable to provide spaces for every guest. I later found out that the parking is also open to people parking for the airport—which takes spaces away from the guests. I had to park in a parking garage down the street. The coffee station was great for a free cup of coffee—but they ran out of sugar packets and said they had no more on my second morning there.

The location was great, staff friendly, room spacious, lobby had lots of fun games. You had to wait in line for the front desk clerk in order to play pool or air hockey or foosball, and there was always a line, so although ultimately great, the waiting was annoying as they only had one front desk clerk for everything (check in and getting pool balls).

I did not feel like we got a good return on what we spent. The staff was mediocre. On check-in I asked about a late checkout of 12 noon. The person said that had to be done the day of departure, so first thing in the morning on our checkout day, I inquired at the front desk once again. I was then told that all the allotted late checkouts were reserved the day before. The hotel was incredibly noisy as well. There were a number of families with young children who ran screaming down the hall quite frequently and were playing tag in and out of the elevator and lobby area. The air conditioner in the room was very loud and sounded like a helicopter landing in the room all night long. I would also expect a hotel located directly on railroad tracks to be considerably less expensive. The train went by several times and the room literally shakes as it passed.

Ideal location for ASU based activities and more. Walking distance to Mill Ave for meals and drinks. Safe and walkable area. Wholefoods supermarket is a 5min walk. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Great staff. My 4th or 5th stay and will definitely return and hope to make it up to the rooftop bar watching the sunset.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Super clean, great staff, excellent location, very walkable, beautiful views. Best part was the shower in the room, that can make a huge difference after a long day and this one was great.

The hotel is located in the ASU district so great location with lots of restaurants and cool stores around. Great walking area with beautiful surroundings. Close to highway which was wonderful! The hotel has a fantastic roof top patio which we used a couple times. It has a bar up there with outdoor seating. The pool is small with not many chairs but it wasn’t warm enough to swim for us. I did not like that we had to pay $12/day for parking as we are guests and the lot fills up quickly. The room itself was nice and modern. The bathroom was small but loved the rainfall shower head and complimentary hair and body wash. The beds were very comfortable and loved having a big tv. The only negatives were the comforter was very thin and our room faced the railroad tracks so when a train came by it was very loud. Also the cleaning staff did a poor job cleaning our room not replacing toilet paper or Kleenex and the decorative comforter was thrown on and not tucked in , pillows looked like someone has laid in them so that was disappointing. Otherwise our stay was good, loved the atmosphere of the hotel despite that hiccup. I’d definitely stay there again

this place needs serious attention to detail. furniture and accents are the cheapest available and it shows. floor in elevators poorly laid, as in bathrooms; bathroom in lobby smelled like sewer, drain was unsightly, rusted out. since there was no dinner, the staff at check in should have some specific rec's for guests. the 'drop-in room' within walking distance is great. we did not find it until day 2. handicap parking was great, not happy about the extra nightly fee. bartender was amazing.

The room was very nice but by morning we had ants all over the night stand tables and our phones that were on it! We asked for a handicap room and yet there were no grab bars in the bathroom and I could not maneuver my walker in it. However the bathroom was small enough that I could hold on to the walls, sink, etc. STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS and gave us another room.

The temperature of the water in the shower is very warm but not hot. Sometimes you want a hot enough shower to overcome the air flow in the room.

Bryce and Forrest were very accommodating in moving us to another room because the heat wasn’t working properly. Could not be more pleased. Customer service A+. The breakfast is second to none at any hotel you will go to. Bob is a farmer food truck entrepreneur and has taken over the breakfast and lunch menu and it is absolutely fantastic! You must try his eggs Benedict with his homemade hollandaise sauce. We will definitely be back!

Room was spacious, the bad was comfortable. I liked that I requested a roll in shower and I got a room with a roll in shower. Shower floor looked like it needed to be mopped. Other than that everything was great.

The young man who at check-in was very nice, informative and helpful. He showed us the rooftop lounge even though it wasn’t open. The room had all the essentials was clean and quiet even though we were near the elevator. I would recommend this property.

The room was clean and spacious, wifi was fast, curtains blocked the light. There was a small fridge, plenty of wall plugs for charging, and light switches in the right places. Great for a business stay!

I knocked off one star for two reasons: 1- there were a couple cafes/bars on site that were closed due to staffing issues with the third party that operates them, so not really a hotel issue but it was a part of why I booked the room. We checked in Thursday and would have absolutely had dinner and drinks at the hotel if they'd been open. I do believe something was open some or all the weekend days (Fri-Sun), but of course we were gone all day at the art festival and closed by the time we got back, aside from the lobby bar (?). 2- the heater in our room quit working Thursday night, we didn't really realize what was wrong until Friday night and by then there was no one on site to fix it- they gave us an extra blanket. It was very chilly and with no carpet in the rooms the floors were icy. They did get someone in to fix it for our last night there. 2 nights no heat and we were refunded for 1 night. Overall I'm happy with my stay in spite of those two issues.

Parking it's not free, and they didn't tell, although there were signs outside it was confusing because it was the first time in my life that the parking at a hotel isn't free. This was a big turnoff for the hotel. Then the hotel was out of electricity for an hour. Then the electrical sockets in the room weren't working well.

I know that it would be a pretty hefty cost, but the rooftop bar is in really bad shape. Nobody is up there. There’s no bartender up there. There’s no misting system. There’s no cover from the sun and the view is amazing. It’s a waste of a great view.

The hotel itself was amazing, aside from the absolutely HORRENDOUS beds. I'm confident I've laid on concrete softer than those mattresses, none of the 4 of us could sleep as a result.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was able to do early check in and late check out without any issues for $40 each. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Short uber ride to the botanical gardens and other tourist attractions. 10 minute ride to the airport. Super convenient location. The hotel, my room & the pool area were all very clean and had everything I needed. LOVED the view from the rooftop bar! There is the electric trolly and buses that are super convenient to get around the Tempe area. Buses are free and electric trolly is $1. Overall very pleased with my stay!

My wife and I have stayed in hotels around the college Mill street area many times. We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the stay at VIB. Great location for access to the light rail system, the room was great, and the amenities were adequate. Very pleased

Our room did not have hot water, moved to another room and no hot water. Third room water was warm and still not hot. Was told one night of our stay would be refunded, 9 days later still waiting on that refund. No working ice machines either. The Vib, was not a vibe.

Rooftop is very nice- comfortable seating. Beautiful sunsets. The restaurant on site is great - had the tacos- were really good! Pool area is nice. Staff were great. Beds are comfy- shower is a bit cramped- but hot at least. Walkable area- many coffee shops and restaurants. Not a shopping town if you were looking for quaint shops.

The staff were fantastic -- friendly, responsive, etc. The bed was very comfortable. As for the rest.... The room seemed nice on the surface, but had so many weird little problems: electrical outlets that wouldn't hold a plug, fridge that froze everything, and bedside lights that were broken and wouldn't turn off (yes, they stayed on all night, I had to prop pillows over them to sleep). The area was also really loud at night (trains and sirens and a weird inside sound that sounded like a phone alarm going off at all times?!).

Loved the rooftop bar, along with the taco restaurant in the lobby. The only small part I would make a point to mention was the pool was a bit dirty,

Very nice hotel close to what we were looking to do for a few days, I didn’t like the fact you have to pay $10 a day to park.. I guess I didn’t read the fine print well enough. I’d probably choose a hotel with free parking next time.

Our wash cloth had hair all over it. looked like someone shaved and wiped it off with the wash cloth.

Hotel gave us a smaller room after our accessible rooms AC was determined to not be working. It made the trip a little discomforting but I was able to work through it. Although the room we were switched too was clearly not designed for wheelchair use, I appreciate the staff doing what they could.

The AC was so loud that I couldn't sleep properly. Over than that, the location was good.

I really liked that this property was very clean everything was walkable distance easy parking at a great price.

Parking is a little wonky, but not a deal breaker either. You just have to pay for it separately.

Loved location, could use some maintenance in the gym. Pool was supposed to be heated, not so much. No hot tub. Awesome staff. Had to pay for parking. Room was very nice. No tub, but shower was really great. Comfortable beds!

This is my 2nd time staying at this property in as many years for the same local event. With how clean, comfortable and affordable the rooms are, along with how nice the property is, other options will be hard pressed to get me to stay with them. The Vīb is just that great.

Nice hotel and close to many great eateries.

Had a horrible sewer smell coming from the shower. Spoke to the front desk 2 times to get it fixed and they told me they sent someone up to fix it and then nothing. Front desk seemed uninterested in my concern and in fixing the issue.

Great property at a great price, with great coffee and restaurants and shopping nearby.

Hotel seemed quite full coinciding with spring break and Spring training but room was extremely quiet. I will book again without any hesitation.

I enjoyed my stay. Nice place, showers are really small, but still like my room overall. Usually stay at the place across the street, but the Vib has better amenities and may be staying here more often.

It was a nice hotel but I wasn’t expecting to have to pay for parking. That took me by surprise. It was a great location with many things around. They also state that had a “heated” pool, which was not the case. Overall, I would stay again.

Mid hotel, mid location at an expensive price

The hotel seems nice upon entry but definitely had it's downfalls. The initial check-in wasn't friendly and welcoming in her choice of words and tone. The room looked clean initially but we discovered change on the floor under the edge of the bed which is indication the floors weren't vacuumed and mopped. There were hairs in the shower as well. The pillows were so flat that you need all 4 of them to make one. The reviews I had read failed to mention the hotel is literally right next to train tracks that shake the room, in the flight path of the airport and you can hear the traffic noise all night. The pool is tiny and not worth spending time at and the rooftop was closed because there was a hint of potential rain. Very disappointed in this hotel considering it was well over $200 a night plus the parking fee.

The only problem we had was what my phone, tablet and laptop regarded as malicious and dangerous sites when I tried to log on. Have never had this problem before in dozens of hotels. My devices would not log me into the internet, even long enough to use VPN. Staff were either completely unaware or were covering for a problem they knew they had. Unacceptable either way. A few days of fooling around with different networks and they finally let me use the staff network when I asked for a rate adjustment for no connectivity. Thank goodness I have a good data plan on my phone - probably why there weren't lots of people lined up in the lobby complaining, they didn't realize they were using phone data.

The parking was a bit stressful and finding the parking was hard but overall it was a great hotel

Hotel is in a good location for dining options. Rooms are small but modern and clean. Decent coffee machine in the room and overall amenities good. Unfortunately, the lack of hot water in the morning was an issue-- apparently from all guests. I kept receiving text messages from the BW website to request anything needed in the room. Asked for an extra blanket but no response. NOTE: parking is an extra $10.00 a/day which is separate from hotel.

Great hotel, close to Tempe Beach Park!

Nothing particularly magical about the rooms or property. Walkable, parkable and nice rooftop space are the highlights. Bummed to be charged extra for early check in and not be reimbursed for early check out. Seems strange.

Walking distance to numerous restaurants on Mills Ave. Public transport was efficient and nearby. Clean and convenient location for my purpose of visit to Tempe.

I think the snack area should have a faster way to pay if you are charging directly to your room, had to wait in a line just for a snack.

Pool and hotel were great. My only complaint is that our room was on busy street and it was extremely loud from traffic noise.

We have stayed here in the past and didn’t have an issue before this trip. The bed was so uncomfortable. I don’t know if it’s because they put us in a handicap room but if you were on either bed in room 401 you completely get rolled to the center. You also have to pay for parking now for each night you stay at the property.

It was good the hotel over all was good we stayed at the VIB for the rooftop but no guests were allowed to go up the weekended we stayed which we were looking forward to

Nice hotel....Hot water could be hotter with stronger water pressure. Overall not bad place to stay.

They have done a nice renovation of the hardscape in the rooms. It’s modern and fresh. Some of the mechanical systems were not updated so there was no hot water the day I checked out. Isolated incidents perhaps but not ideal.

Everything was great they do not have their own parking though so you have to pay the lot is public.

Air conditioner was noisey kicking off and on. An alarm sounded in the night in our room like a fire . There was a cover under the sink that was making a loud noise about 5 am

Nice hotel right in the middle of Tempe! The best was comfy, the room was clean and nice. No carpets is a plus for me! Super walkable area. Can get loud at night since it’s next to the train tracks, a/c was also loud but nothing terrible.
