Ant infestation and smoke smelling rooms. Dirty towels.
- 1/5
Charge 50$ for a deposit and always had a reason why I couldn't get it back because of towel i used to clean up a full cup of coffee. And also a paw print of dirt. They did year twice. I'm a 64 year veteran. I know that I did a few things wrong also. I think the total amount was around 150$

The service
- 1/5
There was body fluids on the head rest, brown substances on the floor in the bathroom and sticky stuff on the floor. The staff referred us to use Expedia. We used Expedia we verified payment but Expedia did not send notification of payment to property. It took hours to be able to gain acess to the rented room. But first Expedia attempted for us to pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to another hotel and be reimbursed later they also got into a verbal altercation with the property management where both parties were yelling at the other

Location and staff Room and cleaning
- 5/5
I have nothing negative to say about this business.
- 1.5/5
Accessibility to the 5, restaurants and shops I have been coming to this location for a few years now. I work in Portland monthly and need a dog friendly spot. My first visit here wasn't the best for dogs (only one small grass patch out front, a few hundred feet from my room) however I made do because of its location, price and newly renovated rooms....mine had a fridge. Cut to several visits later, theres just no consistency here. The fridge I got the first time wasn't in the room the second time I stayed, the next visit the wifi started getting patching and now by my 10+ visit the dogs aren't allowed to go to the bathroom anywhere but a parking lot filled with dog poop (grass is off limits), the wifi doesn't work and there was someones stuff just piled up in the parking lot. At one point his stuff blocked me in my room and I couldn't get out because he would unpack it all....daily he would tinker in his stuff with his dog (unleashed) and I would have to ask him to hold onto his dog as I navigated the walkway around him. This visit is my last, zero working wifi, zero legitimate area for dogs to go to the restroom, allowing guests to leave their garbage and things anywhere they please.
- 2/5
The newer renovations are nice, tons of parking. It is near a lot of food trucks and restaurants in the area. The 5 onramp is locations right across the street so its easy to get around. The one thing I can't wrap my head around is a "Pet Friendly Motel with Pet Area" that is quite literally a Parking area behind the bar that shares the parking lot. they are supposed to pee against the building or on the parking lot....which 90% of the time theres a massive truck parked there...even though it says NO PARKING...or behind the bar's dumpster where there are piles of dog poop.
- 2.5/5
Location was exactly what I was looking for. Stayed in the ADA room and it was nice to have the wider entrance way/roll in shower, for the mobility hindered person I was with, but I'm not sure someone in a wheelchair would have been OK. Also easy to get in and out of, as the door opens straight into the parking lot. The room doesn't have any amenities (microwave, coffee pot, fridge, etc.), but they reached out in advance to make sure I knew that so I was prepared. They don't offer during stay housekeeping, which was fine, except we ran out of some toiletries. Room wasn't dirty, but it also wasn't exactly clean. There were pink stains on the bathroom walls, a couple of holes in the blankets, and the corners of the rooms were dirty, like it hadn't been swept completely.

This motel 6 is alright. Not nice but not too bad. My parents room kind of smelled like pee, and there is a bar in the parking lot that plays loud music. Our room was ok. Decently clean, hot shower and comfortable beds. Dogs stay free which is nice
- 3/5
I forgot how bare-bones Motel 6 is. There was no fridge, microwave, or hairdryer in our room. One thing that bothered us was that we could barely close the curtains because the pleats had melted together in places. I think the heater below them must have done that.
- 1/5
We had to pay a $50 deposit in cash when we got there. We were told we could get it back in the morning when the office opens at 7:00. We were in a hurry and it was 7:30 before the office was open. We called many times
- 0.5/5
The first room we .complained 3 or 4 maybe 5 time bc a dog was left barking in the room. Half the night n barking for hours.so we asked to move to another room. That room had cockroaches..no fridge.no.price adjustment given Roaches and loud hard beds
- 3/5
Very easily accessible by highway 5. Great for a one night travel stay
- 3/5
Decent enough for the price. Standard Motel 6 experience.
- 4/5
The manager, Max is amazing guy. The property is generally nice and clean and location is very exceptionally convenient.
- 5/5
Nicrr
- 2/5
Location was hard to find and blankets were covered in dog fur in our room. TV didn't work also found a roach when packing up to leave. Rooms were also very small and they didn't have anything in the rooms for guest use. Only good thing was the shower. Also blankets and mattress was stained.
- 5/5
the surrounding area is a little lively, with a bar sharing the same parking lot
- 1/5
Not happy the tv didn't work and the guy couldn't fix it or resolve the issue. No room change, no refund, not happy.
- 4/5
Quick check in quiet room
- 5/5
The check in was easy and the guy that helped us was very nice. The room itself was cute- completely different than what the outside looks like. It is pretty dirty though, they could use a mop and some scrubbing but it really wasn’t bad for a Motel 6. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows are the size of throw pillows and you get one per person. Also, the towels sucked and we ended up buying one at the Fred Meyer next door. All in all, not a bad stay, just needs to be cleaned.
- 5/5
Just what I needed, great location close to highway.

- 3.5/5
Friendly and easy check-in, convenient location, good parking, clean room, price. Must use stairs to access the second floor. Not a big deal but a little tough with a heavy suitcase.
- 4/5
Motel Six. Excellent bare bones, clean and just what was needed for an inexpensive, in-out with vehicle.
- 2.5/5
Our neighbor were loud
- 1/5
Do not come here. None of the outlets worked, except for one far from the bed. None of the lamps or charger ports on the lamps worked. AC kept malfunctioning. TV randomly turned on. Burn marks all over the toilet, walls, floors, clearly from drug use. Horrible smell in the room. I complained in the morning to the front desk and they said they would email me some sort of comp. Never received it or heard from them.
- 4/5
Good stay and room was nice but can hear a lot of car noise
- 4/5
The rooms smell even we changed to another room. The staff was friendly and nice though.
- 4/5
Staff was good, plenty of parking in a safe area, and it is quiet. I am in a non-smoking room, but you can smell cigarette smoke in the bed linens.
- 3/5
Close to freeway
- 5/5
And the room was very clean the only thing AC not blow up heat otherwise evrything is good
- 4/5
The room was immaculate and spacious. The TV was huge. The shower was perfect. The air conditioner worked really well and drowned out what little outside noise there was. The mattress was a little lumpy and the pillows were a little bit lumpy too. There wasn't any shampoo in our room or a hair dryer so if you need those items, you should probably pack them. There
- 3/5
The room smelled like cigarette. The toilet had a stain, which made it look like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. One of the lights didn't work in the room.
- 3/5
Fine nothing fancy. Asked for a king and got two double beds
- 3/5
Rooms smell like cigarettes
- 5/5
Safe & guite
- 4/5
Great customer service
- 3/5
Went to the lobby for coffee, no cream and the area was unkept. Toilet paper holder was broken, no toiletries and uncomfortable beds.
- 3/5
The neighbors were loud after hours. There is no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a 50 dollar deposit for no reason.
- 4/5
it was okay..
- 3/5
Booked a non smoking room and the room smelled of smoke. No travel size shampoo/conditioner. No iron and very small pillows. Will not stay again.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. No frills but just a comfortable, convenient location for a good price.
- 2/5
Horrible motel. We got a room that was so smoky and stank of cigarettes that we had to sleep with the window open. The curtains stank of cigarettes so much that it was impossible to even eat at the table that was by the window. Plus the additional smell of marijuana from the street. We stayed for one night and barely survived it because it was extremely difficult to breathe in room 108. I don’t know about the other rooms, but this one was terrible because of the smell. We would never stay there again.
- 1/5
worst stay ever
- 4/5
I like location
- 5/5
Staff is really friendly and efficient. The rooms are modernized. My one complaint is that the ice machine wasn't running.
- 1/5
We had to leave in the middle of night because our neighbors were having a drug party and blasting music and had a bunch of things hanging outside our door and windows. The motel did not do anything and they refused to even offer help
- 5/5
This place is accessible to different businesses like restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Will be booking here again for sure in the future!

Please update pictures of property
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and my needs. Very professional.
- 4/5
The staff are very nice! Our room didn’t have a kettle or refrigerator but only paper cups and towels and soap. You would like to bring stuff on your own. Thank you for the safe stays!
- 1/5
The worst ever. They stole our money.

- 5/5
Good value. Good staff. No problems. No drama
- 5/5
Very clean room and hotel. I'm diabetic so they even brought me a refrigerator. The office doesn't open until 7 am but my last morning i had to leave early so they opened to allow me to make coffee.

It met my needs for one night at a good price. The comforter had multiple holes and burn marks on it and the heater wasn't very warm even on high. The toilet doesn't flush well and the sink was slow to drain. But again, it met my needs for just a quick overnight.

Now for the downside. The room had no microwave or fridge which I believe was listed in the description. The floor had soft spots in it which were concerning. The two pillows on the bed were the size of square decretive pillows. Since we were staying two nights we actually went out and bought two king size pillows of our own. We were traveling with two dogs which they assured us was no problem however there were very few places to take them to use the bathroom. That is understandable as it is in the city but would have been good to know before booking. The other drawback is that there is a bar on the other side of the parking lot, facing the motel, that does bring a lot of traffic and noise.
- 3/5
The room was freezing when we arrived and the small heater took hours to get the room comfortable. The bed cover was stinky.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property numerous times and it never disappoints. It’s economical, has a friendly desk staff and is clean. Definitely recommended.
- 3/5
The room was nice, bed rather hard, bedclothes skimpy. Plenty of pillows. Good water pressure and water almost hot enough for a good shower. HOWEVER, despite having paid in advance, the property charged me $50 for a "damage deposit" at check-in. The desk clerk claimed it would be refunded as soon as the room was "checked for damage." Are two elderly women likely to kick holes in the walls, Motel 6? This is so bogus; I believe its just a way for Motel 6 to grab an extra $50 when customers neglect to check their refund status. And it makes me think very seriously about patronizing Motel 6 in the future.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property several times and have found it to be a nice place and very economical. Front desk staff is always nice and helpful.
- 1/5
Upstairs guests were loud, banging around, yelling, kids running up and down and jumping, sounded like they were moving furniture. Thin walls you can hear everything. Called to complain twice, but the front office staff couldn’t or wouldn’t leave the desk and tried to call them, but it didn’t do any good. Then started up again promptly at 7 am. Not a good time. But the staff were kind and refunded one of the nights. Rooms were ok but smelled smoky. Don’t leave the light on for me anymore. I’m good!
- 4/5
First thing … my room was very clean and neat and that’s what I wanted and expected. But be aware that these are bare bones rooms. There’s no microwave, coffee maker, fridge, shampoo, or drawers. I wasn’t interested in any of that but if those things are important to you don’t stay here. The nearby road is busy and noisy. I had someone above me who made noise like them were moving a piano, but I travel with earplugs, so no problem. But the floor/ceiling is quite thin.
- 2/5
There was not even drawers for you to put clothing in, no table to eat at. No coffee maker, or microwave, you basically could sleep in the room that was it! Will never stay there again!

Air conditioner stopped working and when we tried to call front desk, they would not answer, so we were sweltering
- 5/5
We had a great stay!
- 3/5
Adequate if you only need a place to sleep and shower without concern to anything else. The bed cover had cigarette burns and tattered. While it appears decent from the outside, the unit is obviously old and felt dank and musty.
- 5/5
The motel is good. My companion and I really wish we had a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. We hope management puts them back in the rooms.
- 1/5
Staff?member verbaly abuse to seniors carmen is her name always wears a hoddy while working

Rooms was large. Cons: Room had no fridge.
- 1/5
Smelt like dog really bad

I was visiting family while they were patients at OHSU. I did not want to drive back and forth through downtown Portland. Motel 6 was just 10 quick minutes away. Since I was just "sleeping" there, it was perfect. Easy access from I-5. Easy access to OHSU. It was clean. Morning and evening staff were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Super clean and Luis was super nice and very professional. We traveled all the way from Texas and our Motel 6 are not this clean and well taken care of. We travel here to pick up or visit my my step daughter’s and it’s hard to find a clean, convenient and safe location since we do not know the area as much. Definitely have found our location for future stays!!
- 5/5
Property is conveniently located. Room was clean. Front desk clerk (male) was friendly and welcoming. No frills, but does the job, satisfied and would stay again.
- 2/5
The room was dirty, and the housekeeper needed to get the drops of poop off the bathroon walls. The office was at least an hour late opening for coffee. The girl that checked us in was nice. Thats, all I can say avout the place. Nasty
- 5/5
It was a very good Stay
- 4/5
I was disappointed that we weren’t provided enough towels for the 3 people staying in our room for our 2 night stay. We asked at the desk but they said the service would put fresh ones in the room for our 2nd night, while we were out. They didn’t take the used towels and left even fewer fresh towels.
- 3/5
The non smoking room had smells of smoke, Around bed had smell of pee, all linens are dirty especially bath mat, toilet paper was wet, disgusting. People were making noise at outside and inside after midnight.
- 4/5
Wife didnt like the pillows too soft.
- 5/5
Room was clean, quiet
- 1/5
Nothing unique. They are scammers.
- 3/5
It's average. The rooms are spacious and it's relatively peaceful. The manager is kind overall. There was lots of sidewalk construction nearby so not very walkable overall, but the bus is really close. Hot water worked great. Bottom line, it's safe and clean.
- 4/5
Nice property. Manager is nice.

Is very clean here and safe feeling. The staff are very kind and polite and the rooms are actually quite large!

- 3/5
It did the trick for what we needed. No frills. But was good enough for a quick stay.
- 4/5
It was a good stay. Only issue is they charged me a 50 dollar deposit that I have not gotten back yet and actually was deducted from my bank. I am a clean freak, so I know I’ll get it back, just annoying to have to keep checking my account and calling the property.
- 2/5
Just smelt old and room was cold for a while.
- 5/5
We had to get a hotel for a night when a storm took out power in our area, and it was a godsend!
- 5/5
Need someplace to take your dog. A patch of concrete by a dumpster just doesn't work. Other than that it was a great stay!!!
- 1/5
Heater had to be manually adjusted thru night. No extra blanket or pillow.

Great hosts at the front desk!! Way better establishment than was there before! Much improved! It does the trick! ;)

Staff were super friendly, very walkable area, rooms were set up nicely and looked modern. Bathroom was super clean and had cute designs in toilet paper/towels. Downsides were dirty floors (appeared clean but grimy on feet), damp sheets, and had to walk to nearly the street to take the dogs out to use the restroom. Overall, super nice for a motel but would bring my own sheets and make sure to bring flipflops for the room.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property on numerous occasions due to its’ convenient location, ease of check-in and friendly management. Safety has never been a concern and it’s convenient to all shopping.
- 4/5
The room smelled kind of off. Did not have a fresh clean smell. It was not bad smell but just not a fresh clean smell.
- 1/5
Floors were filthy. Turned my daughters feet black within minutes of playing in em. Fruit flys and nats all over the entire room from the front door to the bathroom.
- 2/5
I didnt like the fact that someone was working on their car in the parking lot. They had it jacked up and tools lying all around. It was like that befire i checked in and they were still wirking on it when i left. It looked like it was a long project. V

I have stayed at this hotel many times during my visits in the Tigard area. Price is reasonable, the rooms are clean and the management is friendly. Furthermore, it’s convenient to restaurants, highways and shopping.
