Twins Inn & Apartments

We love Twins Inn & Apartments. Just steps from the beach and a 6 minute walk to John's Pass Village where shopping and dining abound. My daughter and I were there celebrating Monday and we couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy our day.

Laundry facility was a bonus! We would definitely recommend Twins Inn to anyone and everyone. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing this sweet space with us!

the property outside and around the pool and apartments was unkept, weeds in flower beds, fences broken in spots, rusted legs on pool loungers, etc. The inside of apartment was ok. Did show wear but appeared clean. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was very clean.

Room was clean but needed updated. No direct beach view from balcony.

This place deserves more then 5 stars..It was absolutely amazing yozr on the beach side and it’s literally 200ft away from your door..When we go back to Treasure Island we will stay there and only there..The owner and Lauren were so sweet I can’t say enough about how amazing this place was…J can’t wait to return…..

Property is perfect to crash a few steps from the beach. It’s only a short block away. Staff was great at check in but they don’t reply to message staff on Expedia. Our room had a broken pipe from the AC unit draining into a bucket all night keeping us awake. The staff knew it was broken and probably should have moved us.

We loved staying in Unit 5 and will definitely be back! The beach is just a few steps away, and John’s Pass is only two blocks over the bridge. The lady who checked us in, I believe her name was Laura, was very knowledgeable and super sweet. We also met the owner while checking out, and she was incredibly kind and even let us stay an extra hour.May is the perfect month to stay in Clearwater, FL. The beach was gorgeous, the water was crystal blue and calm, and the white sand just brushed right off your body.

The woman who checked me in was very passive aggressive and “was not in the mood to lecture me” very expensive rundown motel with zero beach views and the tiniest pool. I feel like this property had to be falsely advertised on hotels.com because there is no way I booked that place and paid $784 for it consciously! Hotels.com gave me a total of $633 but I paid upon check in $784 and they charged an extra $60 form”Expedia booking”

Staff was amazing. The office is not manned after 5pm, but I had no trouble calling and getting in touch with anybody.

Pretty spacious for 2. Showers could use update but everything was fantastic! Staff was great! Balcony was spacious but a little small. I would highly recommend and will be back!

The staff were very nice and wanted us to have a good stay, our 1 bedroom with two queen beds was spacious, and it was in a good location being about a block from the beach and a few blocks from a boardwalk with lots of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately the wi-fi didn't work and it seemed to be that way for a while, the microwave in our unit was broken, the pillows were very flat and seemed rather old, the kitchen supplies were very sparse, and some of the bedding was stained. For the price it was okay.

The staff was very accommodating. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Great location! A one minute walk to a beautiful beach. Five minute walk to shopping and restaurants. We look forward to returning!!

The room and property was ok, a little weathered and worn, but clean. The pool is not heated whatsoever. Disappointing with children for sure. Beach chairs and umbrella in room were great to have and appreciated. If on ground floor you hear EVERYTHING above, so just be aware. Proximity to beach was great!

Pros: GREAT location, steps from the beach (it was clean and peaceful); 5 min walk to the Boardwalk, where there were shops, restaurants, and views. The apartment was clean, neat, and well-equipped with the necessities for a beach getaway, including beach chairs! Cons: The apartment was pretty dated and didn't seem very secure with the old, loose door and key entry. The TV/cable didn't work (it was DirecTV, I hadn't seen a cable box in years, and the signal didn't work). The worst was that the Wi-Fi was not working; the host said the technician couldn't fix it right away, as she tried to get it fixed. This was frustrating because I had booked this as a dissertation work retreat, and I wasn't able to get any work done. I would book this place again, but I would recommend that the hosts make updates to the internet service, switch to an inexpensive smart TV that has free streaming apps, and make the unit doors more secure.

Oir stay here was wonderful! We were well taken care off and our room was stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved being able to walk to the beach!!

I had a quick business trip and needed a last minute stay over night. The staff was amazing and place was nice and comfy.

Roof was being repaired. I was upgraded free to a 3 bedroom cottage. Very nice of Vivian.

We loved our stay so much. The owner was kind and helpful. The rooms were bright, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a view of the pool and the gulf which was delightful. I wish I was still there! We will be back. Thank you!

I really enjoyed it it was clean and it was close to everything we also booked it again for next year we did book apt number five and apartment number four that’s how much we like it we’re gonna be coming next year to celebrate my husband’s retiring party with the family thank you so much it was nice

We had an excellent stay at Twins Apartments. Even though we arrived late, the staff was on-site at 10 PM to handle our check-in. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a new studio to a very spacious, three-bedroom apartment. While it was a bit older, it was impeccably clean and very convenient to our little family of 5. The location is unbeatable—just a few meters from the beach—and having private parking and beach chairs included was a great touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The room was small but clean, full kitchen , ice cold refrigerator, heat & AC all worked great, only steps away from the beach. John’s Pass was in walking distance, which was awesome.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Twins Inn. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They are constantly cleaning. You can tell they take pride in their establishment by the care they give it and their guests.

Excellent. 6 in our party. We had 1 queen bed and 2 full beds plus a full sleeper sofa. Full kitchen and dining table plus living area. John’s pass board walk and the ocean all within a short walk. Staff was excellent! Walked us to our room and went over everything with us, Very personalized service. We are all locals from Tampa and like to stay over when we attend events like John’s pass Seafood Festival. Also couldn’t beat the price!

The staff is amazing. This was the second time we stayed there and definitely wont be the last!

Room is clean, bed and bedsheets are comfortable and soft, fully equipped kitchen, the beach is just a few steps away from the room door.

Clean rooms and beach is walkable. Pool was clean and enjoyable. Overall, property is a bit dated and run-down, but nothing too terrible. Within walking distance to John's Pass, which was also nice.

Property manager, Laura, was amazing!

We had a nice view of the ocean, enjoyed the pool! Bed was very comfortable. The drain in the bathtub was a little clogged. Bring earplugs because you are going to be close to the road. Not sure I would stay again, but it was a last minute option on a holiday weekend!

The location was great! Just a short walk to the beach. Quiet and safe area. Room was very small, but perfect for me and my daughter. I appreciated the ability to use their washer and dryer, which is located just outside of the office. No one likes to pack a suitcase with sand everywhere. Thanks to the mgr who came through with the quarters!!

Hard to understand attendant.She made sure to get us checked in then informs us Tv was out.kitchen faucet was dripping and only got worse during our two night stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at Twins Inn & Apartments. Location couldn't be beat- quiet portion of the beach (closer walk than other parts of Treasure Island to the water's edge). Comfort of the unit was fine for us. We had a unit with a balcony- it was lovely for watching sunsets. Kitchen was minimally equipped, but sufficient (ex: no cookie sheet for baking- but we're on vacation, just go out for cookies!) Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Would definitely recommend to those wanting Treasure Island without the crowd.

Property was great! Close to the beach and John’s Pass.

There is BLACK MOLD in the toilets! There are stains on the beds, carpets, walls. The noise from the street is so loud as if there are no windows at all. Not only do the blinds not close, but the whole thing fell on me at the slightest touch. The beds and pillows are terribly uncomfortable. The bathroom is so old and dirty. The beach umbrella and two chairs are broken and very rusted. I got out of there as soon as I could and requested a refund. Not only did I not get the refund but the owner would not even return my messages until expedia got involved (no one on site to talk to directly). She was so so rude and not willing to compromise with me at all. This is by far the worst lodging experience I've ever had.

Very dirty. Baseboards covered in dirt and dust. Side of refrigerator had splatters from the stove. Furniture was run down and peeling. Feet were black from the dirty floor. Even the toilet seat had a hole in it. Property grounds covered in weeds. The location of the property is very good. It could be really cute place if they painted and did a deep clean.

The beach access is the best part of the property along with parking. Has a kitchen with basic utensils so that's a plus too.

Since we eat-in most meals, the kitchen was fully equipped and cooking was almost like being at home. There is a very nice heated pool as well. Plenty of shopping and restaurants are available at John's Pass just over the bridge and there is a full sized Publix grocery store on Treasure Island. The Manager Vivian is always available and quite nice.

. Negatives: Slightly Dated motel. Shower curtain dirty, dusty, only one set of towels with no replacement on the weekend, dresser drawers unusable-they fall out, door locks a little weak. Stay again? Probably not. Maybe if nothing this close to the beach was available.

Wonderful place by the beach!

Poorly kept up: We had to turn the fridge off because it was making a very loud noise. You had to lift up and slide the door to the bathroom. Whole place need a serious modernization. Walls thin.

Owners are quick to respond and polite. Great location to the beach.

I usually love Treasure Island but they have a ways to go to restore the usual amenities. The hurricanes really hit them hard. They need support from tourists.

Great location on the beach. Clean rooms. We were given a larger apartment due to construction noise at no extra cost and not requested. Roomy. I would stay again. Price was right too.

The management seem very disorganized, when we arrived we were told our room would ready in 30 mins. Which we were fine with, then my wife asked if there was a restroom she could use and we were escorted to a room they were cleaning to use the bathroom. When my wife came out the management said we could stay in that room. A room we did not reserve, with 2 full beds, we reserved a room with a queen. Ok we will make it work, then I find out we were overcharged for a room we did not reserve. The room was very nice and clean but the couch which was nice, was unsitable, you needed a prybar to get out of the couch. Now we had to sleep in separate beds and a couch unusable, the tv was difficult to use. I should know I installed surround sound systems and tvs for a living. While all in all a nice place don't have to high hopes checking in.

Basic amenities. Nothing fancy but fairly priced. Beach is very close. John’s Pass is also a close walk.

Short walk to the beach… stayed in the 2-bdrm gulf view. Everything was redone from the hurricane. The pool was freezing … our towels didn’t get washed and returned … comfortable … priced well but I didn’t appreciate the additional price for the parking spot ($25/day) after already paying $70 for an upgrade to the two bedroom with a balcony and then Viviane wanted to charge me an extra $20/night for my niece. 😕 unnecessary… we already paid for the upgrade ..Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time … still a nice stay.☀️ 🌊🦩

I spent about an hour to get there only to be turned around by police who were allowing only residents and workers to enter Treasure Island due to the storm. The situation is understandable but rooms should not have been offered during this time.

The location to beach is so convenient. The property is clean & comfortable with easy parking. I felt very safe in the area. Kitchen is nicely stocked with the basic needs. Am definitely planning another trip to this area & will book at this hotel. Staff is very friendly & helpful. A lucky find.

It’s a small place not the Hilton but very comfortable. It had a kitchen which came in very handy. Sofa beds are a little hard to put away probably due to not being used much. The beach was so close only 100 steps away. Pool was small but it worked for us n we lived the area. We will definitely stay here again. I can’t say enough about Belinda and Vivian so nice!!!!

We Enjoyed our stay . As a family we always have problems when staying. They made it easy and for the first time we found a place with adequate space. It's close to the beach and kids don't have to cross the street to get there. The customer service was exceptional. We would love to see you again in the future.

It was wonderful.

This place was amazing. I requested an apartment for 6 people. It had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. It was the perfect little apartment for us. There is a full kitchen with oven, friege, and microwave. I would bring your own dish soap. And i did see a cockroach or two, but we were also a little messy. Stayed only for 1 night.

The property is walking distance from the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the beach chairs and toys that were available.

We had a great stay at Twins Inn. The apartment is renovated and fresh. The beach is literally steps from the hotel and the pool is wonderful. Everyone was so nice and friendly.

Mgmt onsite was always available but never interrupted our stay. Was very safe feeling and honestly I wasn’t even worried about locking the door! The other tenants were fun and respectable it was altogether a wonderful stay!! We Will come back!! Thank u! Dawn Brooks

Room was very clean, beautifully decorated, amazing ocean view, wonderful person who checked us in, she was very informative of the area, she was sweet and friendly.

The exterior aesthetics don't do it justice. The units are all updated, clean and bright. Parking is a bit limited and there is one crazy lady neighboring the property that is quite particular about her driveway..... Outside of our brief interaction with her, the stay was amazing.

parking was a little tight for our truck, but it worked. lady directly across street was little over protective about vehicles using even a foot of her driveway in order for vehicles to come and go. that's the nature of the location of the property. i would like to see some of the pool area having some sort of shade, etc. umbrellas, there is no shade in the pool area at all.

These are older apartments that have been remodeled. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in had a very cute beach motif. It was easy to check in and check out. The kitchenette had what was needed to cook and eat with. The pool area was neat and tidy with pool toys available for use. If beach towels were needed, the office had some available to use. Easy access to the beach and John’s Pass boardwalk. Will definitely use this facility again.

Super helpful friendly staff. Rooms are nicely updated and clean. Hotel is super close to beach and quick walk to John's Pass. Pool area needs an update. Pool was heated and fun for my kids to play in. Had beach umbrellas and beach chairs. Overall a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Twins Inn! Great location to be able to walk to the beach without having to cross traffic, shopping at John’s Pass and a lot of great dining options.

It is our second stay at this hotel. The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly. However some of the furniture in the unit needs to be replaced. The sofa is beautiful but the two chairs are fit for the Garbage some painting would definitely be an asset.

The location is prime to the beach, and the shops. There was plenty of room for all of us, the decor was cute! The pool was perfect for a dip to refresh and sit in the florida sun. A great spot!!

This was a great find! The staff which is a single person each day were super helpful and friendly. Location was close to beach (5 minute walk) and easy to access. Having a dedicated parking spot was added plus. Relatively updated and cute space in an apartment style building. Daily refresh for towels was convenient and when we needed anything else (ex: beach umbrella) the staff were quickly able to assist. Most days we did not walk to food or stores but seemed like there were things close by.

We had an upstairs unit with a porch that we enjoyed relaxing on. The pool was heated and clean. The pool lounge chairs were bolted down so you couldn’t move them and some of the webbing was missing. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough to feel like an apartment.

We had an excellent 3 night/4 day stay. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating to our requests during our stay. The unit we stayed in was clean and the kitchen had just about everything you needed to cook meals. Loved that it was an easy walk to the beach and to John's Pass area. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others who are ok with an older property.

We had a great experience with this stay... everything could not be better with the exception of the cold weather.... but we happen to be there during a seafood festival.... we parked and walked to johns pass.. we will return . The next time we will bring other groups to rent here too.

Great location for us. We were looking for quiet and relaxing and found it.

apartment is old but roomy. My only issue was that it was listed as a 3 bedroom apartment but in order to get to the 3rd bedroom you had to go through the 2nd bedroom. No privacy at all for the 2nd and 3rd bedroom. This is important info that should have been disclosed.

We enjoyed our stay! Very close to beach and Johns Pass. It was a bit noisy sitting outside the unit, but once inside noise wasn't an issue.

Had a nice time at this location. The pool was beautiful and the ocean is just a quick walk away. We only had a few days to enjoy the area and am really happy we found this place to do so.

A good view of the Gulf from the balcony. A quick walk to the beach. Each room is assigned a parking space, which is super nice! Enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay, wish i could have stayed an xtra night. Very reasonable cost. Im retired so even then i wish it was cheaper. Very good price though. Excellent management. Manager was a sweetheart. Would stay again.
