Staff is exceptional! Reminds me of how customer service used to be. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the back atrium area in the mornings. Breakfast was not bad, but it lacked variety in the hot foods category. Freeway noise is pretty bad on the east side of the hotel, but we switched rooms to the west side to remedy.

It had a very nice patio/yard in back, with a space for dogs. We didn't bring our dog, but it is a good place for pets. The staff we met was nice, and the evening cookies were good. We would stay again.

Centrally located, the Country Inn was the perfect week long home base for our Tucson house search. It is surprisingly at a very affordable rate. It is impeccably clean, well appointed and maintained. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Christopher, the General Manager. We also appreciated the stand out touches like the large LED mirror in the bathroom, the largest wall mount TV I’ve seen in a hotel, and the delicious cookies at the reception desk. Thank you for the wonderful, memorable stay.

How Close it is to the Mexican Border. I travel to Mexico so it’s very convenient for me when I’m traveling from Ventura County The cleanliness of the property n it was so comfortable we slept like babies. Loved it !

The room was really dirty. I found the cable in the hair as soon as I walked into the room. I requested that the room be vacuumed, but it wasn't done well enough, so I couldn’t get a good night's sleep because my allergies made it hard to breathe. The hotel was also not well-maintained, as you will get a strong chemical smell when you walk out of the elevator, as if you were at a hair salon where women get their hair bleached. The breakfast was supposed to be top-of-the-line for the hotels in the area, but it left much to be desired.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family. The complimentary breakfast was decent—I’d rate it about a 7/10—but it was convenient and had enough options to get the day started. Before our stay, I had seen a review mentioning homeless individuals in the area. As someone who can be pretty picky about locations, I honestly didn’t find it to be a major issue or anything that made me feel uncomfortable during our stay. Overall, this was a comfortable, family- and pet-friendly hotel, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

very friendly staff, My kids loved the complementary cookies each night!!! We had to extend our stay an extra night and they made sure everything was good and very accommodating! We would definitely stay here again. Our dog enjoyed the little area just for her also (mostly in shade) which she appreciated. Just lovely and would stay again😊

This place is nowhere near anything except for a park with homeless tweakers. If you have your own car don't park it here but if you rent a car make sure you check all the boxes for all of that cool insurance. For breakfast there was quite literally a bowl of rotten fruit. I can't make this up it was a bowl of Fruit that was for fungus and rotting. There was a blood stain on the wall of my bathroom. They offer two views one of the freeway and the other one is the Tweaker park. At least they have some really cool tables out in the back you can sit on they look like they're straight out of county lock up. Them make the place look really great with the pictures. If I ever started a business I want the people that took the pictures of this place on my marketing team.

The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the cookies, fruit, and tea in the lobby when we checked in.

It is not city center! It's false advertisement. Pool is not heated. Walls and lamp shades were stained. It's not getting 1 star because the staff were very friendly.

The drawers in my room in the dressers would not close. They kept opening and my granddaughter kept hitting herself on the open dreeet drawers.

The breakfast menu was good with the offering of waffles, eggs, meat, muffins, toast, different cereals including oatmeal and juices, etc. The pool was smaller than expected but we didn't use it so not a problem. Loved the shower which was updated. The jets in the tub in the room were not as expected but the shower made up for it. All in all, I would still give it a 10 out of 10.

The breakfast was great and everyone who worked there was super friendly and pleasant. My only complaint was the road noise. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the side of the hotel that does not face the major highway! Kept me up most of the night.

This is a very nice Hotel in a great location. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were great. Check in/check out were quick and simple. The Complimentary breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub were very good. Parking was free. I will definitely stay here again.

Finally, the property details listed a shuttle from the airport but this one did not have it. Call before you book to make sure you have the right CIS.

It’s a warm bed and a shower for a decent price. There’s nothing flashy and the place is just fine. It got the job done.

Solid hotel, good for family sports trip. Clean but a little worn in spots. Breakfast was goodish. Staff was awesome. Pool not heated. Very nice outdoor patio with good shade morning and evening. Walking/bike path is right out back, well trafficked but many vagrants/meth guys living on the path under the first bridge just to the south of the property. Easy and plentiful parking, lot seems secure and well fenced. Would stay again.

We stayed in a “suite” at this location recently. I will start with the pros about our stay: the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was seamless. There were cookies at the front desk. Common areas were all clean and maintained. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety and coffee service was always available. The room was adequately clean. Cons: our suite wasn’t much of a suite. It had a separate sleeping room/sitting room but the layout of both rooms was very narrow. In the bedroom there was a very noisy air conditioning unit inside the wall with a large vent that made it seem more like the room was designed to a mechanical room. The closet was very small. There wasn’t much space to walk around except to go around the bed. The one window in the room was covered with three layers of drapes and when opened all there was to see was two large ac units and behind them was a type of privacy screen that “separated” our room and the outdoor courtyard. The window didn’t seem to be very sound proof because we could hear anyone who was out in the courtyard, morning and night. The shower only provided a light trickle of water, no matter how many different settings we tried. The sitting area had comfortable furniture but was very worn. The whole suite seemed very worn. Even the bath towels were all frayed on the edges. No charging ports anywhere. There is definitely room for improvement and updates needed.

Walked in the door and the floor had food crumbs all over it. Our suite consisted of a couch very old, a red chair that was so dirty. I wouldn’t even let the dog on it and a table. OK, I’m doing my review for the last one the walls in the bedroom had pencil marks from someone’s child drawing on the wall that hadn’t been cleaned off. The bathroom wall underneath the light switch and down the wall was dirty as well as the carpet in the bedrooms also had stuff on the floor.

This location does not have an Airport Shuttle, which adds to the cost of the stay. Also on the edge of town during CARR or to get anywhere, including to any decent restaurants. The most frustrating part is the Wi-Fi is quite poor and I struggled to connect to my computer, but ended up not being able to do any online work there.

Staff was terrific, room was mostly clean (some kind of stain on a lamp shade), and breakfast was hot and had a variety of foods. Overall, we had a great stay! We will stay here again. We really liked the ability to close off the sleeping area from the living area.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located right off the 10. They had bagged cookies available upon check in, which went quickly, but the text message with our room number and passcode never arrived so the front desk had to write it down for me. The only downside was breakfast which was out of waffle batter and bacon and running low on eggs. We were there before 8am, so it wasn’t like it was the end of their breakfast time, just no attendant in sight.

Concierge provided an excellent dinner recommendation. Nicely done!

Clean and large room,has fridge ,microwave and coffee maker, also fresh coffee in lobby along with fresh baked cookies at night. Location has easy access to freeway, Denny’s and gas station about 1 block away.

A very nice hotel that is super clean, modern, large rooms, and a decent breakfast. The 1st floor rooms seem extra spacious with tall ceilings, and ours overlooked the outdoor patio that was empty (too cold), so was still very private.

Staff member Erica greeted us with a smile and was very friendly.Offered is delicious cookies! I reserved 2 rooms, both rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We asked for rooms in the back so we would not have the freeway noise. Breakfast was delicious. We sat outside on the back patio that was clean, beautiful and comfortable. This felt like a hidden gem. This shall be my Tucson hotel!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Really everyone from the front desk staff, housekeeping, the kitchen front and back staff and even the night security guard was friendly. They were accommodating, every time we needed anything they made it happen. Highly recommend this hotel.

Loved location and got in early check in

Had to go out the front door to the pool and spa that were on the side of the parking lot. Then Had to get a pliers from receptionist to turn on the hot tub/spa. Pool was Not Heated and very small. Too cold to get in.

I have many concerns about the cleanliness (or lack of) at your hotel and I have given this feedback since the first night Thursday, without anything substantial being done. I have told your staff (in writing through text message when they asked me how our stay was going) about what our concerns are and I was told that it would be looked into (night 1 Thursday Thurs Feb 19), told that it would be dealt with (night 2 Friday Feb 20) and told that our room would be cleaned Saturday Feb 21 while we were away. Upon arrival at our room tonight Saturday Feb 21 at 830pm, we have found nothing major being done in terms of cleaning and I have attached videos and pictures to show the level of filth in the room - red chair arms and seat were absolutely brown and dirty when we arrived. I attempted to wash the chair with a washcloth and it did a little to get rid of the dirt, but upon drying, the arms and bottom are still brown. Tonight we put this chair in the hallway for removal from our room as we are disgusted to sit in it (and not sheet in our room to cover the chair with). I have attached pictures of the chair and cloth I used to try to clean it Friday night. - the floors, walls, telephone all had splatter and dirt everywhere, the vent in the room was full of dust/debris and blowing on us Shower curtain disgusting at the bottom & BUGS in the utensil drawer and dead by the couch

We had a great experience checking in. It was quick and easy. Also allowed early check in. Liked the key pads on the doors versus carrying around key cards. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the high fixtures in restroom.

Friendly helpful staff & management

Staff were wonderful. Great location. Spacious room with comfy beds and separate sitting room. Big shower/bathroom with good water pressure. Watch out for fridge - turn it all the way down or everything in it will freeze. The TV remote doesn't actually work with the TV - have to use the buttons on the back to turn it on/off and adjust volume; can only change channel with remote (this really annoyed my husband). Breakfast a little lacking compared to other free breakfasts (e.g. BW's) (eggs and bacon/sausage but no potatoes, oatmeal, some whole fruit, bread, waffle maker - yogurt machine didn't work when tried)... but it is free. Even though it's right by highway, freeway noise wasn't overwhelming at all, even kept windows open at night. Don't really hear neighbors to side when in room. Really nice patio area out back. Small pool.

When I arrived my room was close to 90 degrees. I had to be moved to a downgraded room because that was all that was available. The downgraded room had an odor and a very clunky and loud HVAC unit. I was told a manager would reach out and credit a portion of my stay. I have contacted the hotel three times with still no response.

Our roooms were spotlessly clean, plenty of nice towels and, even close to the hiway, was very quiet. It was nice to have breakfast first thing as well, warm and ready with very good coffee. I'll definitely use this hotel again.

The stay was very good and the staff was so kind and helpful. The only issue was breakfast. At 8:35, there was no hot food left and the waffle batter they brought out was almost pure water. Eggs were brought out about 10 minutes later, but overall was not the quality of breakfast I've had it most Country Inn & Suites. However, that would not keep me from staying again.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and we had no issues. Breakfast was included with our stay. They offered hot breakfast and to-go breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Sink was clogged for first 2 days. Kept having to ask front desk to get sink fixed. Limited breakfast. Not impressed.

This place was OK. It was clean and the rooms were adequate, although I had to ask for clean bedding before I was able to sleep. Someone had burnt a large hole through the comforter and top sheet. Who knows how? Furthermore, the place is located right next to another defunct hotel that sees some not-so-great characters around it. I was concerned for our vehicle's safety as well as our personal safety because of the surrounding area and lack of quality security. We were simply passing through and needed to bed for the night and I booked based on my experiences with other Country Inn & Suites. It's not the brand, but the management and the location that make it concerning. Since it is unlikely I'll ever need to stay there again, I won't be able to give an update on any changes that have been made.

We traveled 12 hours and all we wanted was to rest however this hotel gave us a horrible noisy room next to the freeway and on top of everything a train passes at least 4 times. We immediately requested to be moved to another room but the lady at the front desk named Jackie denied our request. Expedia couldn't do anything about it either, we had a terrible night, no sleep.

It was convenient that they let us use the toaster in the breakfast area at other times. We are used to better hotels like this one having more fresh fruit (like blueberries, or other seasonal fruit), or potatoes, or raw nuts for breakfast, not just animal based stuff for protein - foods that contribute to cardiac disease and cancer - the number one killers in the US every year.

We got a room with a hot tub in it. No maintenance staff on site for the three days we stayed to fixed it. We spent an additional 150$ for our stay for the hot tub only to have it not work

Our tv in our room wasn't working & the manager was very accommodating, she offered us a different room, which since we were only staying for one night we declined. She then gave us a discount on the price of the room, which we thought was very nice of her. Thank you for your hospitality!!

First time in Arizona, and first time traveling alone as a young woman. Felt very safe and welcome for my entire week-long trip. Staff was friendly and checking in/out was a breeze. Room was clean and everything I needed. The area wasn't bad. Hotel is placed in the perfect spot - not too far from most places and activities etc. plus right off the freeway so it was easy to get to and from. No issues with parking either. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back for my future Tucson visits!

Hotel is right off the I-10 fwy which is a huge bonus, and reason why we stay there. Plenty of parking and area seems safe enough. Check in process was easy, and they had cookies for guests. Rooms are a bit outdated and not as clean as I would have preferred. Beds and pillows were comfortable. No hand soap in bathroom which was inconvenient. Breakfast area is spacious, and food wasn’t terrible.

We will definitely return to this hotel if in the area! Friendly staff, answered any questions I had immediately. Great breakfast and clean-- also helpful staff with breakfast. And the cookies were delicious! Nice pool to and good area.

Tuvimos algunos detalles en nuestra estancia que no nos gustaron, primero que el área de alberca está afuera del hotel (aún costado del estacionamiento) y no cuenta con protección cuando nosotros fuimos estaba una persona ajena al hotel (una persona sin hogar) bañándose en el jacuzzi y nadie del hotel se percató de eso ya que no hay cámaras la puerta se abre sin llave y hay cero vigilancia en el lugar, aparte las fotos de la. Publicación no son para nada la realidad. Otra cosa que al llegar la habitación estaba sucia y tuvimos que pedir que la revisaran al darse cuenta de que olía mal y estaba pegajoso el piso lo solucionaron rápido y nos cambiaron de habitación. En la habitación no tienen algo tan básico como jabón de manos nos dieron un shampoo para el cabello para lavarnos las manos. Está céntrico pero hay mucha persona sin hogar cerca y no hay vigilancia para ello.

I went through a nightmare when I checked in at red roof hotel means surrounded by not the most decent people out there after not sleeping for almost 24 hours because I walked out of that hotel I came across country Inn and they allow me to do an early check-in. Everything was so nice. Everyone was so friendly and super clean.

Inside the Hotel was everything perfect. The pool area was okay. The pool had many birds feathers. It's not inviting to swim. The hot top was for me not hot enough. Anyway we were happy to stay in.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and it is one of my favorites. Right off the freeway. Secure parking. Pet Friendly.

Very clean & staff was very friendly. The breakfast were good and they were always wiping down tables.

This is a nice place for the money and convenient to the university.

The pictures of the property are misleading.. the pool was very small… I had to clean trash that we found in the room… the tv had issues and the desk didn’t know how to fix it or could anyone to help. The vending machine was broken and ice machine was leaking into the hallway.

We had a late check in and were tired from driving into Tucson. The reception made it a quick, stress free check in, giving exceptional customer service and was very welcoming. The room was spotless, the beds very comfortable, the mini fridge kept our drinks perfectly chilled, and they offer good breakfast options. Although our room was nearest the gym and breakfast room, it was very quiet. Overall, we had a great stay!

The property itself was great. The property next to it not so much and there were a lot of homeless people at the gas station two doors down. I still felt safe at the property though. It also seems there are quite a few newer properties opening up down the same street like they are trying to revamp the area. Close to the college also. I would recommend the peoperty just be aware of the surroundings.

The staff this hotel were helpful. The week we visited Tucson was one of extreme heat. The hotel manager asked us how we were enjoying the area and suggested we visit Mt. Lemmon to escape the heat and see beautiful views (it was 97 in the valley and 52 at the top of the mountain). Overall a wonderful stay at this hotel

The front desk staff was great. They were able to accommodate our early checkin and they even waived the fee. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable.

A/c making noice was not able to sleep all night

We called the hotel just coming off of the highway, and Christopher was enthusiastic to welcome our checking in a little early. When we went to check in, Chris (the other Christopher) was super friendly and welcoming. Check-in was a breeze! Our room's A/C was not working, and the staff QUICKLY and EFFICIENTLY moved us right next door, which was actually an upgrade, at no extra charge. THANK YOU CI&S! The room was clean with a little kitchenette and sitting area with extra TV, but we did not use it. The king bed was way comfy and we slept well. Breakfast bar had waffles, eggs, and sausages for the hot breakfast, along with the other usual continental goodies. The woman-cook was really friendly and attentive keeping it all clean and stocked. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable, as well. We did also take a dip in the pool and hot tub, and both were clean and quiet and comfortable. Overall a great stay, here. Thank you all so much!!

Plenty of parking and it’s nice and lit up. There’s a nice outdoor area and breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and pet friendly. Staff was so nice and kind, the 2 men named Chris were funny and thoughtful. I’d stay here again.

Terrible beds

Near perfect. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with good lighting and well furnished. Bathroom is nice and clean with walk-in shower. Breakfast quality is of no Michelin stars, but reasonably good for its class. Choices are adequate and acceptable. I will stay there next time when I’m in town.

Great and friendly front desk attendant. Room was so nice and cool when we got inside. Room was clean, Pillows were so awesome and we slept great! Shower was nice, as was the water pressure and did not go cold even after we each had a shower. Very nice hotel. Another great thing worth mentioning is the Denny's that is pretty much next door. After a late night concert ended we Ubered back to that Denny's and walked back to the hotel. Great location, lots of things nearby. Would recommend and stay here again. Thank you!

I would expect this from a hotel that we paid $60-70 for but at $145 for one night we expected at least a clean room. We left immediately upon check-in and have been further disappointed in the failure of hotel staff to reply to our concerns. If you’re traveling to Tucson skip this stay.

Nice people and staff. Fairly clean for a bit dated hotel. TV in the room didn’t work and WiFi was terrible. Very spotty and didn’t work most of the time so I used my hotspot on my phone for my laptop. I like the location relative to UA campus. Also right off the freeway.

This property was delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the cookies and free wine we received. We got the jet tub room and was very happy there was plenty of hot water to fill it! Bed was comfy and the pillows were not over fluffy!

It basically fine. The breakfast was pretty spare. Especially on our last day, April 29th. The omelet were almost gone and just sat there. Very tired.

The room and staff was great. The locking system on the room doors was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Not dependable. Couldn’t get in on my own half the time I was there. I will not check into a nother room with that system

Staff and very clean hotel

The experience was fine. I didn’t like the fact that only after an upsell to a suite that we were informed that that too was not ready and had to wait 40 minutes more.

It was beautiful

A past guest's dirty clothes were found in the room, hair was found throughout the bathroom. Overall I didn't feel like the room was clean. Cookies were good though.
