Motel 6 Tucson, AZ - East Williams Center

Not much. The bed was so hard I would have been more comfortable on the floor. The bathroom lights didn’t work, and there was only one working light next to the bed. The television was so small and there was a giant hole in the wall behind where the TV should have been. I was given the wrong room, and I walked into a room that was occupied already, making it very uncomfortable. The bathtub and shower was disgusting and I don’t think it was even cleaned. I think the only positive thing about the place was one of the three pillows was actually a little soft.

The hotel property itself is very trashy looking and needs a big renovation to be welcoming. The TV kept changing itself, the bathtub was chipped and peeling, toilet paper holder was completely rusted and coming apart, and everytime we opened the front door to go outside, it let out a loud, brutal squeak. Like a howling puppy. To top it off, the upstairs guest above us was insanely loud. Stomping and sliding stuff across the floor all the way past midnight, waking up my kids. It was a very unpleasant stay and I won't be coming back.

We were too exhausted to drive back home, so we stayed, but ended up sleeping on top of our own blankets curled up just trying to get through the night. We even felt itchy the whole time, which made it even more uncomfortable. While the price was affordable at $78 a night, it definitely was not worth it. We will not be staying here again.

No amenities of any kind, very run down and dirty room, light and fan in the bathroom stayed on, switch was broken. Property very run down and in a pretty sketchy area. Pictures on website must be from several years ago.

Staff was great, front desk guy was helpful and the maintenance lady was nice. However, the bed covers were disgusting we had to ask for clean sheets we went to have dinner and when we came back we found a cockroach, we killed 6-8 bed bugs we found a huge booger with a really thick nose hair on the white sheets the guy above us was walking all night we had to cut our stay really short due to all the bugs in that room it was disgusting to say the least. I have never stayed in a motel 6 and I’m sorry to say I would never in my life stay in one again, I do not recommend anyone else to do the same well at least not in the Tucson Arizona Motel 6 on East Williams Center.

Room was relatively clean. There were holes in the wall. Droppings in the bathtub. Towel rack coming off the wall. Air conditioning worked well. Couldn't watch the TV as the instructions were vague. The area and the parking lot are both shabby. All in all, probably the worst room I've ever stayed in. On the happy note the staff were very pleasant.

Room was dirty. The microwave did not work. Only one light in the room worked. Toilet paper holder was broken. Looked liked the door had been broken into & it was missing the safety lock. Did not feel safe in the room. We stayed one night & checked out the next morning (we had reserved 3 nights) & moved to a new hotel. They said we would not be charged for the 3 nights but have not received any confirmation on this ( even though they assured us they’d send me an e-mail with my cancelation).

The room was not clean at all. We had to ask for clean sheets. The bed spread had unknown fluids on it. Pillows had stains on them. People pace in the room above ours. The sink was backed with a bug floating in it.

Parking was bad pillows were non existent room was ratty crack heaven.

The guy behind the counter was pretty nice. I had no interaction with any other staff. The place is VERY run down. Going into the room I could smell the cleaner used which was not a problem. Smelling the cleaner did not make the room clean, there was long stringy hair in the tub. The tub was painted white which was very chipped and dirty/stained. I felt I would have been cleaner if I would have bathed in a sewer. Animal hair all over the room. It looks like this Motel 6 is used as a homeless shelter as there are many long time residents there. Dogs barking in the room next door all night. Very little sleep the one night I stayed.

I woke up with multiple bug bites on my arms. I had to check out early I did not feel safe

The lady at he front desk was awesome. I arrived a little late. She went ahead and was able to give me my room. When I walked into to the room it smelled like cigarettes. Long hair in the shower. Bath tub look extremely old with stains and cracks. The door handle on the bathroom door was hanging on for dear life. Floor looked like I never been swept. Only reason why we stayed was because we had driven from out of state and needed to rest. Didn’t want to bother looking for another hotel after a long drive. I’ve stayed at different motel 6 some nicer than others but this one right here was sadly the worsts. Desk clerk was great polite, and helpful.

Red strains on the bed sheet. Every appliance was either broken, crooked or had holes in it. The comforter had a hole in it. The staff was friendly, and check-in and check-out was super easy.

I wouldn't call the area safe, at all. The bus stop was full of drug users, some getting high, others passed out.

So i get there and they are still cleaning the room, it was wet floors tub very dirt,never touched, the floors had stains all over, the toilet seat looked like someone crapped on it, the bed was extremly uncomfortable, it was noisy from othe tenants, it was expensive for what i got. A/c barely blew out air let alone cold air. Just an overall worst stay in a hotel ever, plus there were druggies all over the property wandering around, not really the motels fault i dont think.

The staff consistently provides exceptional service, ensuring a superior guest experience. Their responsiveness to guest needs is commendable, and they are readily available to assist. Cameras are set up all over the property for safety. We anticipate returning in the future. N/A

The room did not look like it was supposed to like the way it looked on Expedia. It was dirty and nasty and did not feel comfortable at all.

The motel is in bad condition and dirty. But you get what you pay. However, Front desk provided great customer service.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT book here. This place looks OK in photos but it is a rundown drug den in a terrible part of town. This place is full of prostitutes (all meth users) pimps and druggies. I booked 4 days here but left after 1 and could not get any money refunded either from the hotel OR Hotels.com. Very disappointed. I was promised an escalation of my complaint but nothing has happened. I wont use this app again to book a hotel.

The floor was disgusting!! I can’t even fathom it. When I tried telling staff I was trying to clean the floor myself, the only rebuttal was “you didn’t use our good towels did you?” And was provided with a rag to continue to clean the floor! My son is handicapped and crawls to get around in the room, so having the floor disgusting was NOT an option!! Then the second night the cable went out and I was told twice it would be on that night. By the time I left on the third day, it was still not on! Was not even worth $300 for two nights! The staff was super helpful and respectful, and accommodated my son in a wheelchair.

Motel up was very rundown the bathtub was different layers of paint. The sheets have stains on them the front desk. Lawyer cannot figure out how to get a key to get checked in then to top everything off. There is a bug. I’m very big bugs. I don’t know about this book. I kind of thought it was a bad bug. I don’t know what it is. I’ve ever seen before. Didn’t look like what the owner said. I got the hell out of there.

Horrible place to book! The property was in a not so safe location, there were women standing outside their rooms with provocative clothing, our NON-SMOKING room reeked of cigarettes, and the room itself was dirty and the walls were peeling. We immediately returned the room key to the front desk and left.

My standard for a $60 hotel is “no blood on the floor, a bathroom door that actually closes, and no methheads in the adjacent room that have a 7-hour screaming match in the middle of the night.” Needless to say, the Tucson Motel 6 failed to meet that standard.

The photo has to be a model room as that ends once you get to the sink area. The restroom was not updated in anyway. The toilet had so sort of seat that was way too small. The tub had been cleaned but it had black stains and the shower head had lots of buildup on it which no all shaper holes punched water. Most places I have stayed they take out trash and make beds when you leave for the day that didn’t happen in the slightest.

Cockroaches running all around dirty floors, baseboards, stained sheets, dead bugs none of the power outlets worked. For the $ this place disappoints more than anything. I get it, not an expensive place I wasn’t expecting the Ritz Carlton but OMG basic cleaning was overlooked

The room was filthy. I checked in, went to the room and all of it was dirty. I left immediately and checked into a different hotel. The parking lot was unsafe, I was asked for money, what appeared to be drug deals and prostitution going in. I would t recommend this particular Motel 6 to anyone. I complained to the manager and they are i. the process of refunding my money.

This is a poor area of town. The staff was the only redeeming quality. This was a scary stay.

Beds were fine, but the area is sketchy, bathed myself in the sink because the tub shower was disgusting. Didnt feel terribly safe. So slept with one eye open.

It’s an old building, poor renovation effort

The building is old, the bathroom is a horror, the tub is so uninviting that we could bring ourselves to use it.The walls need to be painted. A major update is needed, or a complete teardown. The gentleman at the check in was very friendly, but the building itself is not user friendly at all..

If I could give this property a negative star I would. We only stayed at this property because every other hotel was booked. Unclean is an understatement. You could feel the mattress springs, I was seriously thinking of sleeping in my car. I did not have my morning shower and there was not any bath towels. We left the hotel early in the morning. The staff and owner should be ashamed to rent this hotel. ETC

You get what you pay for. I should have known for $58.00 I would be getting bare minimum. Parking was scarce and very narrow. had to drive alongside the building on a 1 car wide driveway between a wall and the building. Very bad part of town. I thought Craycroft Rd was a safe clean area by the base, it was 30 years ago, but now it is like center city. NASTY ! I saw 2 guys that looked like they just mugged someone, one was wiping off a knife and the other was going through what appeared to be a zippered purse. Very scary! Only had a bath towel and a face towel no soap no washcloth no shampoo and the towel was so full of starch it was like using a paper towel -not very absorbent. To make it worse there was a hailstorm that knocked out power for all night into the next day, so no A/C when the temps were over 100 at night. Anyone ever heard of a backup generator? The managers were very apologetic but all in all the worst 2 days of my life. I had safer and nicer accommodations during my tour in Iraq!

Bed was comfortable & looks like they recently remodeled the bedroom area, but ran out of money to fix the bathroom. The tub appears to have patches & looked dirty. The toilet paper dispenser was rusty. The sink area wasn't much better.

The bathroom shower and toilet were not clean whatsoever, even a roach was in the bathroom.

Door would not lock, had to use a chair against the door to prevent someone coming in. Room lights did not work. Overall the room was not clean. Hotel staff was called about the door lock and other stuff. Safety was a major concern.

I was treated to a military discount.. Cold Tucson night & heater was tricky/ questionable but the double-bed barebones room stayed comfortable.. The TV wouldn't turn on even with remote batteries swap'd.. Bathroom stuff & water were fine..

The management tried to illegally charge an extra 50$ fee for the smoking room I booked and already paid for but no smoking was allowed in that room.

It's an older motel undergoing remodeling. That said the bed was comfy, staff was wonderful & there was plenty of hot water.

Got into the room and noticed TWO rolls of toilet paper were down to 10 sheets, asked for more TP on the way out from front desk. They said they would do it right away, came home, still no TP. Again, you get what you pay for, pay the extra money.

I flew in from out of town a picked this motel for a weekend stay while visiting family. Room appeared clean when we checked in but was really nasty. Pet hair in the bed, cigarette holes in the sheets, tiny bugs crawling on the floor, the door handle to get in the room was very loose and you had to push the door very hard to get in or out the room so that wasn’t very safe. Noisy in the middle of the night. You can tell the is a motel that drug attic’s or shady people come to stay. The owner had a lady working the front desk all day who said she didn’t work there but was helping out so she didn’t know what she was doing. I asked for a different room or my money back so I can check in at another hotel and she kept saying she has to get in touch with the owner. We agreed to leave for a bit so someone could at least change to bedding to clean bedding and when we can back this still wasn’t done then she said the owner said to get my email and he would refund me after hours had gone by. I told her I couldn’t wait a few days for a refund so he would need to refund me now so I could check in somewhere else then she said I’ll just give yo another room. So by this time it was almost night going back and forth when we checked in around 1:00 in the afternoon so we had to stay. I slept in my clothes with a blanket I had in the car to keep from touching anything. I would not recommend anyone staying here unless your a drug attic or homeless. Even the cleaning staff were drug attic’s.

Should never stay here. When I took a shower, some one staying under my room abruptly and strongly knocked my door because it seemed that waste water pipe was leaking.

I couldn’t stay there because another hotel bought it after I put in my reservation and it’s invaded by homeless. In their trash and pool area. Don’t book your stay here !!

Apparently when I booked this with super 8 ,shortly after they were bought by motel 6 and didn’t cancel the charge on the card. I didn’t stay because it was completely poverty stricken.

Checked in .prepaid but manager? Merit telling me ny card was declined kept trying to bill an american express card that wasn't even mine.got my key finally and upon entering the room hsd several young men trying to sell me items and hanging out by dumpster.nothing scary about the men but they continued to knock on my door for the first hour persistently till i left. Upon return and relaxing noticed one after an other small cockaroaches coming from walls and bathroom. I didn't sleep on the bed and ended up killing almost 20.will not stay there again.i know everyone is stuggling so i was polite but as a matter of preference i was scared ,uncomfortable,and disappointed.

My stay at the Super 8 was comfortable. I stayed a week. I received good service from the front desk each day. House keeping was on time and clean. I enjoyed my stay here and will return again eventually. My room was clean. I had a beautiful piece of art work painting that was wall size at the head of my bed. So if your lucky and get the room im in now....you will feel at home and have a beautiful picture to look at!

The door handle fell off on the inside, the toilet was barely able to work and there were bugs in the room. The staff was extremely rude and I caution anyone from staying there

If there was any redeeming quality, was that the shower pressure was pretty good. Which would be needed to wash the filth of yourself from staying in this hotel. Just do yourself a favor.. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else.

The owners are very nice and accommodating but please know it is very sketchy neighborhood. You will have people walking through the parking lot constantly pushing grocery carts asking you for stuff and the police will be behind the building in the neighborhood constantly. With this said the entire area is like this so pick your poison. The first room we had smelled and the bed was broke but they moved us and second room was much nicer. You are getting what you pay for here so know that going in.

Awful. Police raided the room next to ours. We checked out the same night we checked in. We requested a refund because we did not even stay in the room more than 30 minutes, but the manager refused to refund us. I have already filled a claim against them.

The room was clean-ish... most of the room needed repair. Smole detector hanging off the wall, tub did not drain, tub drain was broken, rust stains in toiley, paint all around just looked terrible, floors were dirty!

risky neighborhood. The cost was rediculously high, close to $200.00. We were traveling with our dog, so, we did’nt have a choice, given there was an event that weekend, and no one else allowed a dog. The bed was hard. The pillow was so skinny we had to put jackets under them to make them soft enough to fall asleep. The shower didn’t work, and the door barely locked. The worst.

The owners, Jack & Paru, are like instant best friends! They genuinely care about their customers. Whatever you need, they will make it happen. I will always stay with them in the future!!!

I smoke so I requested a smoking room. The bedding had cigarette burn holes, expected but there were several, not expected. There was a sock in the light fixture for the vanity light, a top to a body spray bottle under the vanity. Blueish splotches in the bathroom, my husband said it looked like luminol. I wish I had taken pictures, I meant to. I had bites on my arm the next day and now I have more. I think they may have bed bugs!

The heater didn’t work, and I’m not sure if it’s bed bugs or what but I have bites all over me that itch like crazy. I was there for 4 days never got my sheets changed, linen was stained, over all an absolutely horrible place to stay and I’d give it negative stars if I could. I will never stay here again.

This hotel is a joke and the front desk lady was rude and disrespectful, and just nasty. We walk in and she asked how many people was staying in the room we said 4 and she said if want two twins it's 20 dollars more in a very rude way. After that she said that she was going to cancel the room. The way she spoke to us was so unprofessional and I have no clue how this place is still in business don't stay here and make this place go out of business.

There is bed bugs in room #120. I just drove across country non stop only taking naps in my car. I do not have bed bug bites untill sleeping here over night i have over 7 bites and showed the man at the front desk as soon as i woke up and noticed the burning itching bed bug bite marks ! The man refuses to refund the room and says that it is probably allergies. This is not the case ! I work in the Public health field and know what happened.
