We stayed on a Saturday and had the pleasure to watch a movie at the pool! My Godson had an absolute blast!!! The desert trails and the Whirlpool were another family favorite!
- 3/5
Room seemed clean; Beds made, empty trash. The carpets werent vacuumed, tape on walls from party, dusty, hair all over floor and bathroom. Room service had dry chicken, undercooked pasta, dry meat in tacos. Wouldn’t recommend ordering anything too complex.

If you spray for bugs clean up when they die. It’s gross. I will never return. If I could have had a refund I would have taken that option and left. Expedia said that not and option and I would loose my money. I’m not wealthily to accept just losing money. I have pictures of all the bugs in both rooms.

Also, great $40 room service deal for charcuterie and bottle of wine 🍷 👌

We love the staff- the front desk lady was so friendly and she had worked there forb40 years! She was so helpful’ We liked everything.

For a resort I was disappointed in the services. I stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and wanted to get a pedicure. No nail technicians were working for the entire week. Also I needed to buy sunscreen which was not available in the so called shop. Other than these issues the staff and property were very nice.
- 5/5
Had a great burger but the french fries were cold and stale French Fries.
- 5/5
The walking trails were serene and peaceful, great for birdwatching.

Westward Look is a lovely property that has kept its shine over many years.

We stayed at Westward Look a couple of times before this last stay. The rooms are spacious and we love using the tennis courts. This last time though was a but if a downer. The tennis courts need resurfacing,

A beautiful property in a quiet area but close to everything. The staff was amazing the restaurant had good food and the rooms were large and comfortable.
- 5/5
Room was a near apartment with 2 full baths, patio with hot tub. Staff was very attentive. Great dinners with great service from Morgan.
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds
- 4/5
Great little get away place nestled in the hills of Tucson, staff were engaging and extremely helpful/attentive. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Only items that needed some attention were the lack of umbrellas and the aging lounge chairs, with the AZ heat they definitely need more large umbrellas.
- 5/5
Loved every minute at this resort!

Loved the on-site restaurant and live music!

The location and the size of the room was above average Very limited ev charging (2 for entire property) awkward layout…if you’re at edge of property you have to walk a ways to get to the main lobby. Older building

Unique and intimate. Multiple pools. Pretty sweet views. There were some cool plants throughout the facility surviving the desert as well. Moringa tree, avacado tree, fig tree, mango, grapes... We also saw the local Tucson band Ruta Verbena play pool side. Great stuff! Highly recommend.

When I booked my package the hotel in the picture showed a pool connected to my suite, I called hotel after and their was no pool connected. Hotel also had signs everywhere saying they had a gift shop they did not. The hotel (which was a suite!!!) did not have a microwave, bathtub or movie channels (called front desk and they said they did not have it). Their were no booklets where to go to eat, I called the kitchen one time could not get food because the burners were out. Food very expensive at the hotel and it was hard to find a good place to deliver to the room. Also when I picked up my care at dollar one at the airport, the gentleman did not explain anything about the car, so one time when I went to start it, it said I needed to use the key, had no idea what so ever where to put it, looked in the manual it did not tell me either, thank god an old couple came over to help me. My husband and I are not night people, so we stay home at night and had no movie channels to watch, I have travelled everywhere in a normal hotel they always had them. Their should of been better kcups and not so small k cup machine. For all the money we spent in this package I felt I got ripped off, I will never use expedia again very false advertising. Spending over $2,500.00 for 5 day package that deal is awful.

There was a cookie right by the front door. The check in lady was the only one who wasn’t friendly. The rest of the staff was great especially the waitress at breakfast. She’s super friendly and caring. Beautiful views for photos. Nice little walk around the resort. Lots of photo ops.
- 5/5
Overall beautiful property! Gorgeous views. I enjoyed it and the restaurant. Loved my patio. Rooms could use updating. Gym was very dirty/dusty!
- 5/5
Views great some walkways need a bench so sit at and enjoy, especially off pool
- 3/5
I was overcharged $20 for hotel stay. I showed check out clerk what I should be charged and she was very uncaring. I have been using Expedia for years and love it and have never had a problem.
- 5/5
It's a beautiful resort. There were some flies in the heated pool but still a gorgeous resort with everything you need on-site
- 5/5
Wonderful experience all around! 3 pool options was fantastic. Everyone was professional, nice and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Cons: entire resort feels outdated, terrible Wi-Fi, When we checked in for our reserved poolside room, we were steered to a pool room at the backside of pool for quiet and privacy. Thank goodness!! Actual poolside rooms would have been very noisy. But, our room was extremely outdated. Bathroom needs updating, mold was everywhere around the tub/shower, cabinetry and sinks were worn, harsh lighting, and television was probably ten years old or more. A nice touch were windows that could have been opened. Unfortunately, we didn’t dare to leave them open because screens at ground level were torn and could have allowed snakes, scorpions, or desert animals to enter our room. No thank you! On the other hand, the staff were exceptional in every way. Big shout out to Rosario! She made breakfast each morning a real delight.
- 5/5
Awesome staff! Very friendly, made you feel welcome. Food excellant and service great!
- 4/5
Staff at restaurant is amazing. Never seen at staff that is so happy to be at work that helps out each other. Pool could use a refresher but gets the job done. Nice property overall.

- 5/5
Restaurant should have more items for dietary needs
- 4/5
Nice stay overall. High value quotation
- 4/5
Good views, good food, nice pool options. Wish I could have seen the sky a little better.
- 4/5
our room was clean - staff friendly and professional - Laundry facilities good - the small pool was not tidied up twice but staff were very responsive.
- 1/5
There were roaches everywhere
- 4/5
Very nice property in beautiful grounds - some tired areas in rooms that need modernisation- restaurant staff very good food was good but menu fairly limited - no bottled water in room lets standard down
- 5/5
It’s time to upgrade the outlets in the rooms to accommodate chargers. The room was clean, well furnished, and quiet. The comfort of the bed AMAZING! I really wish someone had mentioned the breakfast buffet before I ordered and waited through grumpy, inattentive wait-staff to bring my order.
- 5/5
Walking trail perfect Only parking and restaurants options were the only less than perfect things But didn’t affect my stay
- 5/5
Beautiful location! We loved it here
- 5/5
We love this hotel and I’ve stayed here many times it’s different than any other hotel and there’s something about it. That’s just terrific.

- 5/5
One of my favorite places that I ever stayed at beautiful service and staff is very friendly
- 5/5
The location was beautiful, just a few miles from town and worth the drive. Staff were amazing and the pool area was lovely.
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed, room was very large and the resort was quiet. The staff was very helpful and sincerely friendly. I would stay here again in a hot minute!
- 5/5
Speedy checkin and pleasant helpful staff. Clean room with comfy bed.
- 3/5
Super nice staff. Nice area of N Tucson. Property is old and rooms need to be cared for as does landscaping. Very little soundproofing, so get on top floor, if at all possible!
- 5/5
We stayed in the casitas and they were freshly remodeled and beautiful. A nice private balcony overlooking the desert was wonderful. Huge bathroom. Great location. Super friendly staff. Great value for the money.
- 5/5
What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the desert!! Food was excellent, rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Pool was perfect. The landscaping of the property was so cool! Sat on my patio and watched hummingbirds zip through the cacti while my kids swam in the pool. Can’t wait to come back!!
- 1/5
restroom vents were very dirty and dusty
- 3/5
No instructions in room to contact any staff, lights not working, not enough hanging racks for towels and swimsuits, very slippery tub with only 1 grab bar. Met lady who had been going to resort for 7 years, she stated resort is really seeing its age, and would not be returning.
- 4/5
Clean room. Very friendly staff. Food very good. Great views. Good location to activities. A bit outdated but would return.
- 5/5
We loved it
- 5/5
Nice property, comfortable bed, quiet room. Good place to stay for families.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was big and held our family of five beautifully. I wish they were two queen beds instead of two double beds, but it worked. The pools were fun and the food was good.
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great restaurant. Spacious room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, loved the pool. Great location. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Everything was nice
- 4/5
This is a dated property, but the room was comfortable, quiet and clean
- 4/5
Breakfast was a bit pricey, but VERY good. Room cleaning service was spotty. We had to call for service twice in the 4 nights we were there because we were skipped over for service, even though we saw the room cleaners near our door each time we left in the morning. We were just "forgotten" I guess. We didn't require much, but it would be nice to have the coffee pods refilled. Staff was all VERY nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet and so many options for swimming!
- 5/5
This was for a family gathering and the property met our needs from the excellent pools to open air restaurant's.
- 5/5
We had a lovely stay. Beautiful room and great service. We were even visited one morning by a javelina. Thank you!
- 4/5
Good was good. Location was good. Nce got the value
- 5/5
Yes perfect
- 4/5
Overall, it was was a good stay. My room by the pool was nice. It is obviously an older facility that has been redone. You had to go down a lot of stairs to get to my room and there was a step down to my patio and up to my room. I parked in the front of the hotel and went through the Lobby to get to my room. Easy to miss in the dark and if you are not expecting a step. The noise from pool was not bothersome and stopped around 10:00pm. The food was very good, although, service in the restaurant was extremely slow. It was not the wait staff. The delay came from the kitchen. In my opinion, it is because they were too busy doing orders from the pool and room service. There should only be bar service at the pool if there is not a small kitchen or grill poolside. Overall, a nice stay and I would go back.
- 4/5
Overall the staff was friendly, our room was clean and we didn’t eat breakfast there.
- 3/5
the rooms reminded me of a townhouse, you could here the people above walking around and shower turning on and off... The people were friendly and food was good but the room view was non existent and decor was out dated.

Our room was spacious, clean and newly renovated!!

- 4/5
The spa on property is wonderful!
- 5/5
Love the outdoor dining at this resort !
- 5/5
Lovely place to rest and restore.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice amenities
- 5/5
Beautiful property and exceptionally helpful and resourceful staff (special shout out to Bobby, the Bellman).
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Nice staff, beautiful property, comfortable room, quiet, and loved the pools and hot tubs. Can't wait to come back!
- 5/5
Relaxing!
- 3/5
Staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and shower water pressure was great. The view was disappointing (a large, bushy tree completely obscured it), and the "private balcony" was a small concrete slab with two chairs (no table), and the chair cushions got soaked when it rained.
- 3/5
They didn’t have amenities they listed either.
- 4/5
Great overall resort with onsite amenities. Staff very friendly and pleasant to work with. Room nicely refurbished and clean comfortable beds. Hot tubs were not working - pool temp and bathroom tubs were dated but the rest was all in good shape.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful. The lodgings were very comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The Sonoran Spa was lovely and I would recommend their spa services. We also took advantage of the Tattered Saddle company providing trail rides on site. It was a wonderful weekend- just wish it was longer!!
- 5/5
Three wonderful pools! Great food (at the restaurant, poolside and room service!), but the greatest asset is the on-site spa. Talented and attentive staff provide a range of high-quality services.
- 5/5
Friendly courteous staff. Nice fitness area and lap pool for exercise. Beautiful grounds. Great location for exploring Catalina recreation area and state park.
- 2/5
Nice big room(we had a junior suite). View was not great. Nice restaurant and sitting area around hotel. Nice grounds. Good food in the restaurant(we had a breakfast and dinner).
- 2/5
Really no amenities
- 4/5
The spa was nice and a great temperature.
- 4/5
Casita style rooms in a nice resort like area
- 3/5
Room was clean. Property on older side. Pickleball courts have lots of cracks making play challenging. Restaurant was very slow.
- 5/5
This resort exceeded all expectations. The photos don't even do it justice. We stayed in one of the casitas poolside and had the most magical sunset over the pool imaginable. The staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. I would give this resort 6 stars if I could, will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Lovely rustic resort
- 4/5
The staff were wonderful, from the front desk to housekeeping. The view is great too!
- 5/5
Awesome property with friendly staff and great accommodations. Bed was soooo comfy. Food was great. Loved sitting outside to eat. Even had lunch delivered to smaller pool and ate in Chefs Garden. Great walking paths. Gorgeous views!!
- 5/5
Everyone was very accommodating and friendly!
- 4/5
Nice getaway , restaurant could use better service.
- 5/5
Beautiful and Relaxing! Nice size room.
- 5/5
Great price, Service. Location. Good food. Beautiful views. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
Check in was good, helpful agent. The room is not maintained at a "luxury" level. It is on par with commodity room chains. Some nuisance cleanliness and maintenance items, although nothing major. Not worth the premium price.
- 5/5
Rosa the veteran staff member was amazing and super helpful!!
- 4/5
Beautiful property; food was excellent; room was very big, comfortable and clean; wonderful setting; loved the lap pool; nice gym. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here - great value for $$.
- 5/5
Always enjoy our stay here
- 5/5
Great size room and staff excellent!
- 2/5
The room was mediocre at best, poor view, curtains and blinds in disrepair, soft spot on bathroom floor where it appears water would sit, some outlets did not work, fridge was in an odd location under the vanity sink/counter. The general feeling is that Wyndham members get better service, check in staff was not friendly. We would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends and family. For the cost, there are better options in the Tucson area.
- 3/5
The parking is very confusing. This place is built like a senior living community. Also very dated.
- 5/5
The staff is always courteous. The rooms are spacious and I like the beautiful views!
- 4/5
The soundproofing in the room was very poor. We could clearly hear conversations from the room next door. This was very disappointing given the cost of the room.
- 5/5
Kind staff, beautiful rooms and scenery, delicious food
- 3/5
Guest wifi in room didn’t work for the entire two day stay despite reporting the problem multiple times. Food was disappointing and the coffee stand wasn’t manned despite the signage saying it was open during the morning hours. Pretty disappointing stay unfortunately.
- 5/5
Hotel grounds and location were fantastic. Room was large and comfortable.
- 4/5
The pool area is great, beautiful property
- 4/5
Really enjoyed this property. Nice casual vibe, pools are clean and well kept grounds.
- 4/5
Given price per day is high, I would expect better WiFi speed & availably, and greater tv coverage.
- 3/5
Second room has sour milk in the coffee
- 4/5
Staff was great.
- 4/5
Nice premises, heated pools, comfy big rooms
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room, staff was great! Had a couples massage at the spa. Entire stay was wonderful. Will definitely stay again
- 4/5
Heated pools
- 5/5
Lovely location and surroundings.
- 4/5
However, the service was terrible
- 3/5
No hot water in the bathroom sink. Dark pathways.
- 5/5
Nice large room. Very friendly staff and great service. We highly recommend.
- 4/5
Spotless room, courteous staff and beautiful grounds. This is an OLD, historical property. The rooms are up to date and so comfortable. The Look Out was a great place to have a beer and meal. I enjoyed the onsite trails. Reasons I didn't give the 5th star: my room was supposed to have a view, but all I could see was a rock wall and a strip of desert landscape. It was lame. When I first checked in, I was terribly confused by the layout of the property, and I could have used more assistance on finding things. The water took a long time to get hot in the shower, and the shower head was not great. There was mold in the toilet under the rim, so easily missed by staff but visible if you're bending over to pick up a sock. No one tidied my room after the first night, and I was gone all day. I stayed 3 nights, and the room was tidied the 2nd day. I could hear road noise at night, so I needed my sleep fan app to drown out the cars on Ina Rd and Oracle Road.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
excellent as always
- 5/5
always perfect, and staff is amazing
- 1/5
Uncomfortable stay outdated furniture poor service
- 5/5
The entire staff was very welcoming. Look forward to returning.
- 5/5
The rooms are a bit dated and could use a better cleaning but we loved the location and the property with the walking trails and pool. The beds we so comfortable and staff was friendly. The restaurant also had great food.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The room was clean but felt a little musty. The floor of the dressing room outside of the bathroom was not washed. I asked for it to be cleaned but it didn't happen. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The public spaces were beautiful and well cared for. We had the buffet breakfast one morning and I would not recommend it.
- 5/5
Beautiful setting with great views. Staff was very nice and the room well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
The restaurant was not good. The room was ok. AC was controlled so it was hot.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Excellent location and away from the city. Beautiful setting and large rooms.
- 3/5
For a hotel at this level there were a few things I found a miss during my stay. The shower doors had gaps when doors were closed so water could get out. The shower door ledge had a cracked tile and the tile shoe molding was missing the grout or caulk. There was white paint above the baseboards in shower room on the wall and the caulk between floor and baseboards had cracked caulk. The 2nd sink outside the shower room had something sticky on it and black hair stuck in it. I would think a hotel at this cost would have better toilet paper that wasn’t so thin. The person above us walked very hard most of the night and thought he was going to come through the ceiling.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
For what you are paying, there are better choices out there.
- 3/5
The good:
- 4/5
The first assigned room, we couldn't find thermostat and wasn't told where to look for. The bathroom door and fan were extremely noisy. It took a long time for the water to warm up. Overall it was a present stay.
- 5/5
This hotel was originally a family hacienda (1920s) and is now a most inviting resort! The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, there is a nice path all around the property for great walks, and the restaurant provides all the food you want at a very high level of flavor and quality but not over the top expensive. Love it! We will be back!
- 5/5
One of our favorite places to stay in the Tucson area. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The quiet, spacious setting with well maintained grounds may be our favorite part.
- 5/5
Fantastic property! Lovely room. Tips: even with a kitchenette the property doesn’t provide any flatware, dishes, or wine glasses. We were here to hang out with another couple and that would have been nice. (There’s a Goodwill 6 minutes away!) Also the tv’s are “dumb” and there is NO way to watch Netflix or Prime, even with an HDMI cord. Aside from these things, we highly recommend!
- 3/5
It was very nice and peaceful. Long walks to the pool or hot tub. The map is not very helpful. The stairs down to the room were difficult to navigate with a suitcase. Next time I know to ask for a room closer to the lobby as well as the amenities. Breakfast was lovely.
- 3/5
Just average
- 5/5
Great staff, grounds, views, and food.Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, but as in most hotels pillows are uncomfortable. Very quaint and delightful botanical garden like place to relax.
- 5/5
Can't wait to come back and stay with you!
- 2/5
Hotel is very badly in need of a renovation. Rooms poor and amenities are decrepit. Food is BAD. Service indifferent - few staff members couldn’t be less bothered to do their job. Couldn’t wait to leave this place
- 4/5
Awesome southwest feel and backdrop. Great walkable area with many hiking trails nearby.
- 5/5
Excellent day. Highly recommend. Gorgeous property with great hikes. Enjoy the three pools and hot tubs. Will definitely come back just to stay here.
- 5/5
Highly recommend! Beautiful pool and outdoor space!
- 4/5
Weather was bad but staff was friendly. Definitely returning.
- 5/5
Staff including doorman were very friendly. The cocktails hour was light and fun. Room was comfortable. Plan enough time to visit the spa.
- 2/5
Room.was ok but lacked modern conviniences like USB ports and a smart tv. I actually had to call manager to have heat on my room, the temperature was on the 50's. Not a bottle of water? Coffee maker didnt work, made just half cup of coffee, i requested a working machine I was told they would bring one, but they didn't. The ageing tv was not working well, they came to fix the remote which worked for a while and then stopped! Staff acted disinterested . Had to ask to have my room clean...the locations is nice but you get better hospitality at some 3 star hotels. Overral, I personally would not go back, it is too mediocre. I suspect that they gave me the least nicest suite just because i booked with a discounter like Expedia.
- 5/5
We stayed 4 days. It was peaceful and quiet. There are so many great amenities. We focused on walking trails and nature.
- 5/5
Room was ok the balcony was a little blan overall stay was ok thanks
- 5/5
Room wasn’t spotless per se (a tad dated) but it was comfortable enough for 3 people. The double sink set up was a plus. Beds very comfortable. Ground were well kept. Bonus, you can request a microwave be brought to the room for snacks and easy breakfasts.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel grounds and peaceful.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful grounds
- 3/5
Okay property. Maybe spoiled in terms of "resort" but I feel this barely qualifies. Front desk stafd only provided information about parking, finding the room and amenities when i asked. The answer about amenities was that everything is closed or theyre no longer doing it. They should update their website about their events if their availability has changed. Views from the restaurant and pool were fine. My suite, which I chose because of the "mountain-view patio", had a little slab of concrete outside the back door and 2 chairs on it. No fencing, no views. I changed my plans and opted for a different property in-town that is resort-level, I just wanted to give this Wyndham property a shot.
- 5/5
Amazing spacious clean room. The bed was amazing to sleep in. The grounds of the hotel were fantastic. An amazing place to spend a few days. Staff were fantastic and friendly
- 5/5
Perfect
- 3/5
We stayed at this property for a week. For the entire week, the two jacuzzis by the pools were broken. Also, we booked this resort for my daughter to do horseback riding, but their horses were not available. Thus, this was very disappointing. I believe we need to get compensated for a portion of lodging charges.
- 5/5
The room was spotless; guest services brought us to our room in a golf cart so that we didn’t have to tote our luggage; we were able to upgrade our stay to the Stargazer suite and really enjoyed the private hot tub; the patio seating at the restaurant/bar was amazing - we sat by the fire pit while enjoying our drinks all while overlooking the city of Tucson.
- 4/5
Great location. Quiet.
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
All was most excellent !
- 5/5
The property is beautiful, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms are quiet and secluded.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
The staff was the best part. Friendly, funny and attentive. Our room came with a credit to several parts of the resort. The woman at the reception desk explained it to me. I walked away and almost immediately forgot everything she said. So I went back and she explained it to me again. We got into our room and I told my wife we have a credit to be used around the resort and she asked me "how does it work?" I said "I don't remember". So when we went back by the reception desk, I asked again. The same woman explained it to me AGAIN and without any of the eye rolling, exasperation or snark that I deserved. She was pleasant and polite and professional. Extra cudos to her. Do I remember her name? If you have read this far you already know that the answer is " no". Highly recommended and I look forward to staying here again

Westward Look is a beautiful old school resort that had recently been remodeled. We had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious, and there are tons of really fun things to do in Tucson. We spent the day taking the tram up Sabino Canyon.
- 4/5
The near $200” Resort charges” at check out was a surprise though.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean. Food and drinks by the pool were great. Great customer service.
- 5/5
The room was cleaned well. Staff was friendly. The property/grounds are so well kept. Loved the lap pool and the short walking trails the most. We also had a lovely dinner on the veranda outside. The food was excellent!
- 5/5
Lovely, relaxing place to spend a week! We appreciated the onsite restaurant and dined breakfast and dinner several times. No complaints and only compliments! Barbara and all staff were very well educated and helpful!
- 5/5
The breakfast menu was fresh. The climate control was perfect.
- 5/5
Great staff! Great rooms! Great restaurant!
- 5/5
Great quite place to stay
- 5/5
Great staff with longevity. Please don’t make major changes to grounds with recent retirements.
- 5/5
Beautiful views, friendly staff, room was updated and very nice.
- 4/5
Sadly, it's aging and it needs a lot of work to bring it back to it's former glory. The staff were warm and
- 5/5
Room nice and clean, staff very friendly.
- 5/5
Yes all was good nice stay
- 5/5
Amazing! The spa! Rachel, Virginia, Alex and Claudia...i will be back. ALL MY BEST
- 5/5
Resort was beautiful and the rooms were great. The only negative was the room service food as it was not up to par.
- 3/5
1st impression very nice. Our room was clean and smelled good. The view was great at night from our balcony. Very quiet on this property. Plan your visit to eat at local dining not at their Lookout Grille. Disappointed in the quality of food. Also, if you want coffee delivered be ready to pay almost $25, not including our tip.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed clean room
- 3/5
Comfy beds. Definitely a very old resort. Interior rooms could use a remodel
- 4/5
Great variety of things to do at hotel including tennis, pickleball, basketball, swimming. Hotel was within easy distance to shopping, restaurants. Plenty of space in the casita option. Very peaceful and quiet.
- 5/5
Fantastic place. Our first visit but already planning a return.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and great staff.
- 5/5
Close to the trails,shopping.
- 5/5
This resort has become one of the best ones in the Tucson area. The surrounding are outstanding and the way that the casitas are literally inserted in the desert is absolutely stunning. Gym, pools, tennis court, and the games room located in the oldest part of the resort are amazing. Only thing that is missing is restaurants options for dining. I highly recommend it.
- 4/5
It was OK. In the room, there were lights that weren’t working and a flimsy toilet seat that moved every time you sat down. The massage at the spa was phenomenal. The area around the property was pretty.
- 3/5
Like was that room service food comes in plastic to go containers and cups. It would have been nice to eat off real plates and drink my mimosa out of a flute glass.
- 3/5
Property needs maintenance
- 3/5
Refrigerator in bathroom is not sanitary
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Beautiful resort! We loved the pools and the hot tubs. The room was gorgeous, and the staff was great as well.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff were amazing
- 5/5
One of the nicest place I ever stayed in from the staff to the five stars XO
- 4/5
Room and amenities were incredible, house keeping was rude when I requested she come back at a later time
- 2/5
The first room we stayed in had 2 large bugs in it, a loose baseboard but the front door, a fridge that didn't work, a bathroom door that didn't close/lock and had to move our child in the middle of the night and all of our belongings to a new room, we had a wedding in the morning to attend and it was a real inconvenience. The second room we moved to was fine
- 5/5
While the resort is an older property, it is very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
The room was very nice and comfortable but the resort seemed a little worn out. Our check in experience was a little lacking as one key did not work and the front desk clerk didn’t mention the WiFi password or explain what our options for the stay was. View was great, centrally located.
- 5/5
Wonderful place, peaceful and beautiful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Rooms are simple but nice
- 5/5
Beautiful location. Clean rooms. All staff was very helpful and friendly. LOVED the private patio and jacuzzi.
- 5/5
Staff is wonderful, nice large rooms clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The room was a little disappointing but the bathroom was nice. Loved the amenities.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
Overall the property was good and I would stay here again. Cons, room felt old, worn carpet, no usb plugs, only one plug on bedside table, no mention of my VIP credit during stay. Pros, property was clean and beautiful, bed was comfortable, room felt clean.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay and close to shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
Front desk staff and bar staff polite and professional.
- 2/5
Bathrooms were not cleaned hairs on toilet, shower and floors The Staff is ridiculously nice, as if they were coached to just apologize for everything. Every one apologizing and blaming someone else and not checking back on the problem and then never getting back to us.No manager on site was a big excuse . No microwave, no towel racks hanging towels on lamps, Poor outdoor furniture cheap and uncomfortable and the porches are really dirty Refrigerator froze all our leftovers. Thermostat not functional and was so bright we covered it with black pants and then were afraid to use it at night to wake up the other person not fun. The spa isn’t a spa there are NO amenities, outside of a hot tub outside, it’s a joke. The staff was so friendly and apologetic it wasn’t real, I heard “I am so sorry” so many times I just stopped trying to convey the issues and get something done about it. The Wyndham experiment was a complete failure.
- 5/5
Very quiet and clean
- 5/5
Wonderful as usual. Best place to stay on a busy parents weekend.
- 5/5
Wonderful service. Beautiful resort setting.
- 4/5
The staff was fabulous. Very accommodating and made our short stay pleasurable.
- 5/5
Yvette and Daniel went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Yvette was new and did an amazing job welcoming customers.
- 4/5
Parking was easy. Room was spacious!
- 5/5
Breakfast was great as well as dinner
- 5/5
Great view, gym is amazing, pools are clean.
- 5/5
Excellent property! Clean room, great common areas, relaxing location. The only thing to improve is the large campus has only one EV charging spot, inadequate for a resort of this size, especially as many rental fleets have a large percentage of EVs.
- 5/5
We love staying at Westward Look. It’s very peaceful. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing resort with plenty of amenities. In a great location—close to shopping and a great neighborhood.
- 5/5
This is a wonderful resort with an exceptional staff. We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years. We are never disappointed.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Great stay, great room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Only things that were disappointing were that the sugar/creamer were wet or moist, so we opted not to use them. Plus, the adjoining door to the room next to us was paper thin. The people next to us blasted their TV until after midnight, which was extremely disrespectful and annoying.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Very nice resort. Only stayed a couple nights. No major complaints other than our party of 5 had a few meals where the quality of several dishes was really very poor.
- 5/5
Historic and very well maintained property with excellent service by the staff.
- 5/5
Great property!! We have stayed here about 5 times and will be back again! We have family there in the Tucson and when we go visit and stay in a hotel - this is where we stay!
- 5/5
We return to Tucson from UK often and have stayed in most of the large resorts but this turned out to be, by far, our favourite It was reasonably quiet being out of the busy season, but perfect for us. Rooms were spacious and beautifully clean, a special mention for the pillows which we wanted to take home with us they were so comfortable. The staff were friendly cheerful and always attentive. We felt well looked after and rested when we left. We didn’t find one thing to ‘complain’ about very unusual as we are hoteliers ourselves.
- 5/5
We have stayed at the Westward Look many times on our travels from England and have never been disappointed. The setting is unmatched anywhere and the staff have always been exceptional.
- 5/5
Excellent stay!
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay!
- 4/5
They put me in a room that was isolated.nobody in any rooms around. Also there was a leak in the landscape so water was outside the door and ran down the steps. No water bottles is the room... everything was an extra charge.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Great service. Stayed here numerous times. First time scoring a poolside room.
- 5/5
We always have a wonderful time here. The food is great, and the service is excellent.
- 4/5
Nice grounds, nice room
- 5/5
Hopefully it longer trip. You will not be disappointed if you stay hare .
- 4/5
There was a lot of mosquitoes inside our room. Not sure if they leave the doors open when they clean but we had some bugs inside too.
- 4/5
Quiet resort.
- 4/5
Quiet place which was nice.
- 5/5
I stay here every couple of weeks. The staff is great and it is a beautiful place.
- 5/5
Friendly staff always accommodating to my requests since I stay here often. It’s my go to when visiting Tucson from Phoenix.
- 5/5
The property is an old ranch from 1912 and is rustic. That being said the amenities are top notch. The rooms are large with updated bathrooms and great air conditioning. The restaurant food was delicious and they offer an onsite cafe for lattes and espresso drinks with pastries.
- 5/5
This is one of my favorite resorts in Tucson.
- 5/5
I stay here every two weeks. The staff is great, and the location is beautiful.
- 5/5
Had a great staycation with my grandkids who live in Tucson. Alot of great places to eat close by. A few upgrades for charging phones or tablets would be nice. Glad I had an adapter for my phone.
- 2/5
Our room was dirty when we arrived and we had to ask multiple times for our bathroom floor to be cleaned and they never adequately did. I accidentally stepped on an Asian cockroach enough to stun it and trapped it under a drinking glass until staff could remove it. They never apologized or accommodated the inconvenience and we still had one more night to stay, so we were diligent about our luggage so we wouldn’t take a friend home with us. The property and grounds were pretty and we enjoyed walking them in the evening. Great views of the sunset. Front desk staff was excellent arriving and checking out.
- 5/5
Beautiful facility.
- 4/5
Very nice property. Staff was excellent. Room was clean but had a leak from the rain.
- 4/5
The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and would move every time you sat down. Paint needs some touch up around the tub A second chair would have been nice.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and amenities
- 4/5
Area is beautiful. Great view of the mountains. The room was a perfect layout. Staff are great. No microwave. Could’ve been cleaner. You can hear people walking above you.
- 5/5
This is the only hotel to stay at in North Tucson. The water pressure in the shower is the best I've ever experienced. If I lived in Tucson I could see myself occasionally booking a room just to take a shower.
- 5/5
Excellent quality for location and price. Wonderful staff and amenities. Will be back.
- 5/5
Spacious, comfortable room.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Very clean and accommodating room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The ac didn't work in the first room we had and it was 86 degrees. After sending maintenance he said the room would cool when the sun went down! They finally moved our room and the next room the ac worked fine. Areas of the room was worn, paint scratched up on the woodwork and coffee tables, limited usb ports. Pool area at the main pool was nice. Beautiful landscape
- 5/5
Very clean and very nice property the only thing that sucked is one of the pools down for maintenance but it was great and the staff was so helpful and friendly
- 5/5
This resort was amazing! Too bad we couldn't stay longer!
- 5/5
Great rooms and area. Stay when they have events here. Great walking and biking trails. Good amenities. Bar and restaurant. Great staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful place.... customer service could be better but overall it was great
- 5/5
Is the second time I’ve stayed there and the facilities are beautiful and the staff is great
- 4/5
The property was amazing and very quiet/peaceful. The restaurant has good food, however it’s a little over priced. The drinks were ok. Pickle ball was fun, all pools were super clean, towels were always available
- 5/5
Beautiful property and great staff.
- 5/5
What a cool place! Great views day and night, clean grounds and rooms, unique landscape with nature trail. Loved the pools and gardens! Great location that felt far out of town but was close to everything. Dining room could use updating but the food was good. Getting around is a bit confusing at first but you get used to it quickly. Would come back and stay here again!
- 3/5
The property had the potential to be beautiful, but there was trash all around our door and steps. The bed was supposed to be a king sized bed and it was a queen. There were termite tubes hanging from the ceiling in the restroom.
- 3/5
Poor wifi in room
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay
- 3/5
Only stayed one night. Slow WiFi, door was warped, and older facilities with fridge in bathroom. Housekeeping kept knocking on door and came in room even though we had late checkout and told them so. Otherwise clean and safe place to stay for a night.
- 5/5
The only bad thing is that the balcony is above the bed area and the neighbors complain.
- 5/5
Very nice, clean, and the staff are wonderful!
- 5/5
The location has a beautiful view of the mountains and Tucson city. It has a nice walking trail around the property. Located closely to restaurants.
- 5/5
They are always first rate and it’s beautiful where they are located
- 5/5
The property was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay again.
- 3/5
The staff were excellent, nice and attentive. However, the room was dysfunctional. The bathroom had been updated, but nothing else was updated. The desk was extra high, and the chair was extra low making it unusable. The TVs didn't work. The mini fridge is under the bathroom sink. There's a large heavy table in front of the patio doors, and a worn out sofa behind it. There was a mirror resting against the wall (not hung). There was also no bottled water in the room, and I was told by staff that they didn't have water. Staying in that room was way too much work, and the dysfunctional furniture arrangement made it uncomfortable. It felt like staying in a room that was being packed up to move or a storage unit for mismatched decor.
- 5/5
Beautiful facilities and comfortable rooms. The beds are amazing. We felt so relaxed here. Played pickleball. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Great location. Beautiful property. We go every year and love it there.
- 4/5
The pool areas were fun for the kids. However, multiple umbrellas were broken and the pool was dirty Saturday night. Of course many people were swimming as it was a holiday weekend, but we had to ask for towels and the staff seemed to be lacking in numbers to properly maintain the pool areas and dining.
- 4/5
Clean but small. Palm Restaurant had good food. Morning crew is excellent for service night crew very slow and inattentive. Grounds beautiful. Loved the hummingbird garden. Mature landscaping and architecture.
- 5/5
It was very good rooms excellent service beautyfull property
- 5/5
Loved the space in the casita for my family of four, and greatly appreciated late check out.
- 5/5

Coffee stand in Lobby a great value. Didn't dine on property but Lobby restaurant had great views of Tucson. Trails and gardens on property well maintained and a nice relaxing morning stroll location.

- 4/5
In bad need of repair rotted fascia above patio.. no curtains and very bright at sun up.
- 5/5
Yes the rooms could be updated, but the property is a hidden gem. Complimentary parking is great. So low key and peaceful! We’ve stayed a numerous different resorts in Tucson and we liked this the best. Loved having a hot tub in our private courtyard. Swimming pool is lovely and the fire pits at night were so cozy. I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Love it here!
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Beautiful desert setting. We stayed in junior casita and it was very spacious. Sofa and chair with sofa table area for sitting. refrigerator in room and keurig for coffee. Also had separate sink and vanity area from bathroom. Bathroom had sink vanity area with large shower.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Very quiet and clean, love it at night with the fire pit by the pool.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, excellent staff, good food and beautiful trails and landscaping, we would definitely stay here again! Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had whatever we needed and we very accommodating!!
- 2/5
The dining room staff and bartenders were very nice and helpful. The food and entertainment were very good.
- 4/5
Food choices could be better. Carpet was pretty dirty which was hard to see as the color is dark blue… my white socks were black after walking around on the carpet for an evening.
- 3/5
It was decent
- 1/5
We booked a room with a scenic view. It was ann upcharge due the view. All we could see were trees from the patio. There was no view. The front desk was not very helpful with questions. The food in the Palm was overpriced.
- 5/5
Great property. Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings with great views of Tucson and mountains.
- 5/5
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 4/5
Nice property with traditional desert decor. Great cactuses and vegetation. Tasty restaurant and several pools. Some updates could be made to the gym. Some staff was great like the wait staff at the restaurant but others were lot great like the gal who works at the coffee bar. Up in the foothills so it feels a little more Scottsdale than downtown Tucson.
- 3/5
Some in our group had dirty sheets, floors and bathrooms upon arrival. Bar/restaurant unavailable due to maintenance issues. Grounds were nice. Spa was very good.
- 2/5
We had 4 rooms for U of A graduation ceremony. This property is run down, we stayed downstairs and the floor above creaked everytime someone walked. The electrical outlets did not work in the lamps. Poor room lighting and overall dirty. Closet door was painted in half flat and half glossy paint. Wehad out doors closed and could smell smoke inside our room when the upstairs people were smoking on the patio, This property is really overpriced! I wish we could get a refund!

Key card machine was not working so I had to go to the front desk and wait for a bellman to let me into my room for the first 24 hours. Also the internet was down for the first day as well.
- 5/5
The staff was cery friendly! The room was very nice . Pools are clean and with a great view. Also did a spa treatment and was heavenly!
- 5/5
Amazing clean abd quiet hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable.
- 3/5
I always stay at this wonderful hotel but this last stay was a little disappointing. The balcony was very dirty and the pool was so gross and full of black flys and bugs. Hopefully, this was a one time occurrence. Every other time it’s been amazing!
- 5/5
Beautiful and all staff was so accommodating and friendly!
- 1/5
No hot water in shower or sonks.
- 4/5
The toilet lid was broke, the toilet paper & kleenex were so cheap, ruff & paper thin.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!
- 3/5
Housekeeping is mediocre
- 5/5
Always a great stay when we visit the Westward Look Resort
- 5/5
Always a great stay!
- 5/5
This place is fantastic, we will be back
- 5/5
I have been staying at The Westward Look for many years, even before it was purchased by Wyndham and I love it here! Such good vibes and nice pools too!
- 5/5
Wonderful spot to stay for a long weekend in Tucson. Great location, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Will definitely come again if we visit Tucson
