Clean room, great staff, convenient location

I come here every month for several days and the staff feel like family. They are so friendly and helpful. I like the little store for snacks or more. The rooms are well stocked, and have an easy chair along with a comfortable bed, kitchen and desk area.

Third stay in past 6 months. When asked not be on second floor near a long-term resident that makes excessive noise from a propped open door on my first two visits, I was placed in an ADA room on first floor. This room is almost unusable for someone not in a wheelchair. The cabinets are about an inch above faucet in kitchenette making one bend over and turn head sideways just to use the sink. If I ever stay here again, I would definitely not ask to be given Room 105.

The property is clean and the staff is very friendly. But the walls aren’t sound proof, and I can hear noise from upstairs constantly.

Stayed a week and so glad this was the hotel we chose. Will definitely recommend!

The location was excellent to start with. Had easy access to main roads. Staff was very good, helpful and pleasant. Having a good coffee shop in the parking lot was a major bonus. Quiet.

It was nice to stay in a modern, immaculate hotel that was priced competitively with those 50s era roadside motels we've been staying at on our 2500 mile road trip. The highlight was the world-class laundry room... no quarters needed! Our room had a small but well-appointed kitchen. If I was still traveling for business, I would have loved the layout of the room - the fresh modern furniture was perfect for working from my room. This would be a comfortable room if you have to be somewhere for a week or two, and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home. There are some decent restaurants and coffee places a short walk away.

It was a very clean room and comfortable with a kitchen area in the rooom. The staff was very friendly and helpful when you needed something. They have a bbq area with two bbq's and two tables with chairs. I recommend staying here.there is a laundry facilities and exercise room but we did not use them.

Hotel is unpretentious but very clean and bathrooms were updated. I really appreciated the kitchen area. Prepared my own food for 2 days. The full size fridge was loud, though.

Front desk was nice and helpful. Their bathroom stinks. I had to move rooms twice and still smelled bad. Good thing i was only staying for one night. Also their tv is old so i couldn’t even connect my firestick to it. The internet was so slow, i had some work to do and i couldn’t do it.

Free laundry option is always appreciated. Television choice is fairly poor with many channels on in-room guide having no signal. This is second stay due to convenient and safe location; would stay again just on those terms. Only issue is to ask for room away from room 206 as occupant leaves door ajar and moans/chants loud enough to hear down hallway or blasts television. On both trips, the same situation so it might be a long term resident.

This was one of the nicest hotels wr have stayed in. We were very happy with the friendly staff, clean rooms, even the clean smell of the room and linens. The area of the hotel was safe, and clean. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Vancouver.

Clean room and all supplies for cooking were available and clean. Admin staff were welcoming and helpful. Replacing carpet with hard finish flooring would assist cleanliness.

Great hotel in almost all respects. Only opportunity for improvement would an enhanced outdoor place for dogs ..given that they are pet friendly.

I gave this hotel 5 stars because compared to others they offer so much value in your stay with a full kitchen and spacious rooms. The TV channels offer a few premium channels as well. The free popcorn was a great touch. I will always recommend to my clients as well.

We love Candlewood Suites and try to stay there whenever we travel. Everything was spotless. The staff was professional and gracious.

Staff always wonderful. Quiet room, great location for us coming home to visit family for the holidays. Shower could have been cleaner as there was red soap scum in the tile grout and shower faucet needed to be cleaned. Kitchen cabinet lower door would not stay closed. I’d stay again but the room is showing some wear.

I will say if you value your sleep, do not stay here. I have been awake since before 1am and it is now almost 3am. People are rewatching the world series and let's just say I have now watched game 7 twice because of the neighbors' loud play by play. The front desk took forever to find them and get them to shut up.It has been super fun, and my long drive home tomorrow will be equally fun. Stay in Vancouver a lot and wont be back to stay at this Candlewood, despite being clean and well taken care of. There are also zero 24 hour diners nearby which would have been great this morning in my dreary-eyed state.

Quick trip to Oregon and Washington. Main goal was to see Mulnomah Falls and the hotel is about a half an hour away which is perfect. Great eateries are close by and up the street and the coffee shop in the parking lot was decent.

It had almost a full kitchen! Very nice for my stay.

Another great stay here. We have actually created a business account with Candlewood now and is our preferred extended stay hotel. Very nice rooms, very clean, free laundry, and great bean to cup coffee. The staff here is fantastic. Brandy was here again to greet us...she's a wonderful person and genuine. No complaints at all. Highly recommend.

The best thing, though, was the coffee, with the bean-grinding, fresh-brewing machine for good coffee any time of day. I really appreciate that.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and both times have been great, extra kitchen area, nice workout room, easy check in and check out. We were able to request a room that was more accessible for us location wise.

The property and room were very clean. We had a king room on the second floor. Elevators were quick and the hallways were surpisingly air conditioned and cool! Not often you see that anymore! The room was well appointed with lots of storage options, closet, and full kitchen (minus an oven). Bed was comfy and the pillow optikns were good. The bathroom actually had towel hooks. Service for two was provided in the kitchen. We will be back.

I had an amazing time staying here! It was my first time staying in this area for a while, and everyone was so lovely and caring. I felt super safe as a solo traveler spending my week and a half here. I highly recommend it to solo travelers, families, or couples who need a place to stay while commuting to other parts of the West Coast.

We live in area - our A/C went out during this heatwave so came here. Wonderful place - huge suites with kitchens. Great onsite store and perfect for our needs. Gentleman at front desk was so welcoming. We’ll be back if this ever happens again!

Great location for visiting the Camas Washougal area. Hotel is clean, room furniture is comfortable. You can really hear road noise from 192nd, bring ear plugs. For the price kind of a bummer that there is no breakfast and no pool.

The only thing lacking in my opinion was a pool and hot tub..

The bed was extremely firm and lumpy. So much so that I didn’t sleep during my stay. The room itself was fantastic but the bed was the downfall.

Excellent staff

It was disappointing that there was no breakfast of any kind, but otherwise the hotel was very nice.

If you have any late night cravings they have a little convenience store in the lobby stocked with goodies. They also have a lending cupboard that any guests can go to find appliances that they may need for their stay. Two blocks north of the property is a supermarket surrounded by quite a few places to eat as well.

We appreciated the kitchenette and appliances offered. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Two comfortable chairs for eating was a nice touch. Well furnished with a large closet for clothing and luggage storage. Perfect size room for our extended stay.

What a pleasant place to stay! The staff could not have been nicer. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel was also centrally located, close to shopping, food, Lacamas Lake ad the Gorge. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

I was relocating a collector car and stayed here for the evening. Arriving after hours (11pm) the desk clerk was so welcoming and efficient at check in, which was greatly appreciated as I was tired. He explained how the hotel was laid out, where the ice maker was and how the Candlewood Cupboard (food/snack pantry thing) worked. Room was super clean... bed and pillows smelled clean and was very comfortable. I was located on the 1st floor, near the parking area and didn't hear a thing all night. Very quiet, even in that location. Just outside the door of the hotel is a little coffee shop so you have easy access to your morning "routine" (addiction?) ha ha. All in all, such a nice stay. My wife and I are planning a exploratory road trip through Portland/Vancouver this summer and we will certainly be staying here on the way through. What a great place!

Great location between Camas and East Vancouver. Very clean hotel, rooms, laundry area. No swimming pool or free breakfast, but free coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as free use of laundry facilities.

There were a lot of dog waste stations/poop bags available, and though I did encounter others walking dogs there, I never once found one stray dog poop, which was much appreciated. Also, there was sufficient lighting and a long loop to walk around the building, so I felt comfortable doing so after dark. I had to check out in the very early morning hours, and unfortunately staff was away from the desk. It was not clear how to gain their attention, but the person walking in early to their shift did not bat an eye about helping me even before she got to settle into her work day, and I very much appreciated that.

The room we stayed in was extremely clean, organized, with kitchenette. Well lit large room. Staff was present even after 12am, when we reached. There is no breakfast service but you can cook in the kitchen.

Housekeeping was amazing keeping everything Clean -- even folding Paper towels into Triangle-points. Bed was Comfy, Clean with Cushy Pillows. Rooms comparable to Holiday Inn, Marriotts and Hiltons. Receptionists were great, Courteous with no extra Frills. I do have to say the Reception/Lobby area was a bit gloomy and wish they had done more w/ the Decor and Sitting areas- So be aware. No Pool, No Restaurant, No Breakfast. (The Store was affordable tho) This is all abt the Rooms, not abt the rest of the Hotel. Also, there is a $100 incidental charge, that Expedia does NOT Mention. (Thx to my Receptionist who was understanding of that situation.) Will Reco to Guests & Visitors this is Def a great place to stay while in Vancouver.

The TV service was horrible. We were kept up all night by massive amounts of noise. I had to go to the front desk at 3:00 am and complain about it. The microwave popcorn in the room was so old the butter was seeping out and was expired. The quality of the towels were terrible. I would definitely choose a different hotel when staying in the area again. It was quite disappointing

I love that Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! My room was more than enough for my pup and me. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amenities onsite (coffee, laundry, etc.).

They assigned me the ADA handicapped unit and told me that is only unit available. Its a disadvantage when I book thru expedia(3rd party) I think.

Easy check-in, comfortable room, nice to have the kitchenette. Only thing I didn't love is the pillows. There were quite a few to choose from, but they were all feather-type pillows that were either too thick or too thin. I would definitely stay here again, though.

We stayed here with put of town family for my father's funeral. They were accommodating and compassionate to our difficult occasion. Friendly staff.

It was very blustery, with high winds the night we stayed here, while there was a bit more noise due to the high winds we still got a good nights sleep thanks to the good bed.

This hotel has only one elevator which makes lound noises and trembles.

Property was in a decent area the staff was great but they only clean the room once a week. You have to go to the front desk to get new towels after a couple of days. You have to empty your own trash and put it outside the door. The halls had peoples trash outside of their room.I understand about the shortage of staff.

The convenience of having a full kitchen and a refrigerator in our room was a blessing, especially when traveling with four children. It allowed us to prepare and store meals easily, making the trip much more convenient and cost-effective. Without a doubt, we're already planning to return to this amazing place for our future vacations. The positive memories and exceptional service have left a lasting impression, and we can't wait to come back.

Candlewood is a very quiet, comfortable hotel located near several restaurants and walking trails. Great for an extended stay. Only downside was the elevator, which was being serviced the morning of our departure.
