Nice room, furniture/fixtures in good condition, quiet. Quick check-in/out, friendly staff. Only negs, a bit noisy air handler and a few exterminated insect remains on floor.

Clean, large room. Reasonably priced. Lack of signage to find hotel which is next to a large shopping center. No signs off Milwaukee Avenue what so ever.

All around clean. Convenient location. Good Value.

The building is very old. We were checked in to our first room and there were bugs everywhere. On the window seal, in the kitchen and on the table that was inside of the room. We quickly asked for another room and this one was way cleaner however, the towels were dirty and old. Also there was what looked like pubic hair stuck to one of them. I asked for fresh towels and never received them. At that point I was just completely over it. The staff that was there when I checked out in the morning was by far way more pleasant than the woman who worked in the evening. Overall I won’t be staying here again.

Don't be fooled, breakfast doesn't exist. The only thing that exists is coffee and cake. There's nothing else but breakfast. That word is too big for what they serve there. The situation is a bit unpleasant because the girl at the front desk charges pet taxes whenever she wants. I stayed for two weeks without any problems. The third week at that hotel, they charged me $30 a day for my pet. I don't think it's fair to say they didn't notify you before you stay. That's the fine print I don't like about these types of hotels.

Everything walking distance
- 5/5
All employees on this property are very professional, caring and helpful. Whenever you enter they greet you warmly. The property is maintained well.
- 3/5
Room was in disrepair. (Countertop falling apart, large chips on enamel on refrigerator and microwave) Not totally clean. Layout was weird with the way bathroom door opened and it blocked the path into the room and it wouldn’t stay all the way open.
- 5/5
What an amazing staff! They were the most obliging. Kudos to Sarah and Leo. My son graduated from RTC Navy, and his orders were changed along with his Liberty. We had to find a last minute hotel on Labor Day weekend with extended hours because we had our family pet, a German Shepherd, with us, and our original hotel was booked solid for the extra day we needed. Thank you so much!! It worked in a pinch - no frills. We stayed in and played cards around the table until it was time to say goodbye, again.

Picked location so it would have microwave/fridge, pet friendly, and breakfast. Breakfast was an oatmeal package or a nutri-grain bar. All the normal extend stay features like plates, were only available by request. We got in late so the last thing I wanted to do was hunt down a front desk person to get a fork and a cup. All bathroom soap and shampoo, also by request. When I went to the desk to get these I was given a face bar and bottle of shampoo. No body soap, no conditioner. My check in was rough as well. The staff was pleasant but I used expedia to reserve but pay at hotel. I was told no military discount bc of expedia but then they cancelled my expedia room and moved me to another one bc expedia didnt include the dog fee... I used the filters correctly and stated I would have a dog.So now I had to pay another 50 ish dollars that I would not have and they still said no military discount with her excuse that it wasn't a big discount. Lastly, the bed was terrible. It was rock hard and would tip over if you were near the edges.
- 1/5
The hotel is too old and smelling, when we entered the room it smelled of musty and the old bed smelled like a wet dog, and they charged us twice for the room.
- 5/5
Nice / clean will be back

The bathroom sink was stopped up

I made the mistake of going to another location later on (Vernon Hills-Lincolnshire location) please do not go to that location…I was getting bit non stop with bugs and the woman at the front desk was so rude and condescending and wasn’t willing to help since she said the maintenance guy didn’t find anything. He is not a professional exterminator plus I had been cleaning and vacuuming my own room to hopefully get rid of whatever was biting me. This woman had no hospitality skills and frankly should quit since she was so unhappy and unwilling to show compassion. The worse part about it is that she lied and said there were no other rooms. I took the liberty of looking online and just as I thought there were rooms in fact available. I don’t suggest anyone going to the VH/limcolnshire location. Save your hassle and go to the Vernon Hills/Lake Forest location. They were amazing!
- 3/5
Location was plus. No ice machine. Breakfast was a pre-packaged muffin and coffee. Bathroom door and kitchen cabinet door lamination were peeling. Shower head was spraying onto the wall.
- 4/5
The Room was nice and clean. I had an issue with the Shower that there wasn’t enough pressure with the water.
- 5/5
Clean and safe
- 3/5
My stay at the extended stay in Lake Forest was honestly just ok. It really wasn’t what I was expecting, but that’s my fault, should have done my research. First thing, the room had a smell, don’t know how to describe it, it was like a musty smell, really turned me off. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so I decided to just bare it but I honestly wouldn’t stay there again. It’s ok if you’re looking for something cheap and you don’t care about the quality. The bed was ok, no issue there, slept ok.
- 3/5
The rooms were very outdated. Box of tissues were musty. Mattress was very stiff and uncomfortable. Guests were talking to us, though we hadn't even checked in.
- 1/5
Terrible place - carpet has patches, holes, stains. The place reeks of rotten food, I will not go close to it.
- 4/5
The staff is very polite.
- 5/5
Very convenient
- 5/5
Easy check-in, friendly and professional employee who assisted in the check-in. Quiet, clean and great location close to stores and restaurants.
- 4/5
Good place to stay
- 3/5
The shower head sprays in the ceiling, the ac is really loud and the beds are closer to full vs queen
- 3/5
The property should not be listed as breakfast included. That was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel only to find what they call breakfast was a very small muffin or granola bar and coffee
- 2/5
Very basic - room only. Older everything. Worn furniture and flooring. Bathroom was decent. Breakfast very limited. It was warm and dry.
- 5/5
Room is way smaller than it seems in the picture - but it was clean, quiet and comfy. I would stay there again - about 20 minutes from Navy RTC station

Some rooms need to be upgraded. WiFi very slow
- 5/5
The place is very quiet and very safe shops. Restaurants . they are some rooms that needs upgrading, especially removing the carpets in the rooms in the showers and the cooking plates. I don’t know what they’re spraying on it, but I think it’s very harmful because when you’re cooking there all this black powder it’s coming out from the plates,
- 5/5
All the employees are great. They strive to make your stay very comfortable.
- 5/5
The room is clean, environment is quiet and peaceful. The staffs are prompt in taking care of my requests. The hotel had not done the snow removal at the parking well. The walkway in the hotel premises were all covered with ice. I had a fall near the walkway!

The place is very quiet surrounding areas are very good. Very safe easy parking. Just the showers needs upgrading a little bit.
- 4/5
Needs some upgrade bathroom shower and beddings the fridge makes strange sounds carpet in the room too dirty
- 5/5
Very understandable staff
- 3/5
There was a stain on the rug that made me feel like the room was not clean and a fire alarm that was hanging from the ceiling over the bed was hanging by a wire on the ceiling and there was a hole in the ceiling. I felt like somebody. I was watching me from the ceiling.
- 5/5
Beautiful place, I love it
- 5/5
Totally recommend it 😉
- 3/5
Staff is always friendly, check in is always fast. There were a few ants in the bathroom and on the end table next to the bed.
- 3/5
Overall the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel advertises free breakfast but the breakfast items consist of nutrigrain bars, muffins and coffee. The nutrigrain bars and muffin unhealthy junk food and highly processed packaged nutrigrain bars and muffins are not what a reasonable person expects of a hotel that advertises free breakfast as available for guests. This is not truthful advertising and should be changed to state that fast food snack items are available in the morning. As long as one does not expect breakfast to be provided by the hotel it is a nice and clean place to stay.

- 4/5
Rooms are clean. Hotel is quiet and close to restaurants and stores.

All good
- 2/5
Hallways and rooms smelled like food/ smoke. No housekeeping unless there two weeks or more so had to bring dirty towels to exchange for new ones and empty own trash.
- 1/5
I made my reservation and paid online and was unable to check in. With no reason why.
- 2/5
Although all of the doors entering the building are supposed to be locked the men in my section of the hotel put a stick in the door so it would not lock. I would remove it and they would replace it immediately. The staff were not checking it but I was and this went on until 1:00 am in the morning. Many of the residents are older adults, but many are also transient men and construction workers. I would not recommend this building for people concerned about their safety.
- 2/5
the breakfast was the worst part of the trip, muffins and granola bars - thanks, but no thanks
- 3/5
Hotel can use an upgrade

This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve had. When I arrived a half dozen people were smoking just outside the entrance of the hotel with the “no smoking within 100 feet of entrance” sign. Inside the room the bathroom had a horrible odor. My husband was actually ready to request a room change when we went online and saw many negative reviews about a bad odor on the property. It’s also obvious that the property manager is aware of this odor because a deodorizer is being used in the HVAC system. Every time it turned on my family would start to sneeze. Our room had two different pieces of info that said we could request a toaster; when we did they said they had none. Finally, the bathroom lock accidentally got pressed in and the door closed when we went out for the day. When we returned we discovered we were locked out of our bathroom. We called the front desk to see if they could come up to our room to unlock it with a key. Instead the attendant at the desk first suggested we try picking the lock with a paper clip. When that didn’t work, she made us come down and get a fork. As I jammed a fork tine into a lock to get into a bathroom that smelled like rotten meatballs, I vowed to myself NEVER AGAIN.

They have only coffee in name of breakfast, there are always 2-3 people smoking near the front entrance in the night.
- 3/5
Property showing age. Coffee maker did not work, room had odor.
- 4/5
Decent for the money. Good location. Could use some updates - loud fridge, no USB charging, weak breakfast select. Staff is nice.
- 5/5
Cool
- 5/5
It was a nice room/stay in a convenient location and a good price.
- 4/5
We were in town for a concert. The location was very convenient and had a good nightly rate.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 2/5
Moved room due to noise of compressor from mechanical room below New room had melted cheese in the microwave, two disgusting stains on the carpet and one on the bed spread. Bathroom sink had cracks, vinyl floor had not been cleaned. Fridges are extremely noisy in rooms Breakfast - extremely poor - poor choice - eat in room option only, poor option of milk. Iron wire was burnt and dangerous to use
- 4/5
Nice to have grab and go food and laundry. Staff at desk were great!
- 3/5
Staff was awesome , very clean place but we did book hotel specifically for the hot tub . The water in the hot tub was cold ): very disappointing in that aspect we even tried messing with the settings and it would not warm up
- 4/5
Nice place. Few amenities but knew that was the case.
- 3/5
Hotel was nice and clean check in was flawless. Heater didn't work and it was 5° outside :/
- 1/5
Staff was foul mouthed when she didn’t know a guest had come off the elevator. Gave them a bad review when they wrote to me and someone called. She didn’t call to fix my problem - but to tell me I was wrong. I’ve never seen such attitudes. She wanted to have a district manager call me. I told I’d wasted enough time with her on what should have been a minor issue (the vending machine). I guess the saying it is hard to get good help is true for this hotel.
- 1/5
Sheets were dirty and counter was not clean, I requested new sheets and had to put them on myself. Clean the kitchen area and bathroom floor! Never never going back
- 2/5
Took three tries to get our key cards to work. Must ask front desk if you want supplies for your kitchen. One shelf in closet was completely broken upon arrival. Smell in hallway was horrible and unidentifiable. No regular cream for the 6a coffee.
- 2/5
Overall the property looked weathered and old. There was a smell in the room. So noisy too. Couldn’t sleep at all.
- 5/5
Staff super nice and helpful ! Hotel nice clean and quiet
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Check in and out was not complicated, no extra fees for anything, grab and go breakfast was as expected, but they also had hot chocolate so that was great. Place was quiet and comfy.
- 2/5
I arrived after 11 and was chastised like a petulant teen for not calling about my "late check in". I had reserved the room for three days. I was traveling from 4 hours away in heavy rain through traffic, notifying my hotel was the last thing on my mind. After getting the run around I was allowed to check in. The person checking me in actually rather rudely pointed to my cell phone and said, "You have a cell phone, you couldn't call?" The property itself is run down. It's not DIRTY like visible filth, more "worn". There was a strong odor of marijuana in my room and the hallway on the third floor. I had to have my room re-keyed because it stopped working. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's a hassle when youre parked in back and can't get in the door. No one ever came to clean my room during my stay or refresh linens. The "grab and go" breakfast is a few packets of instant oatmeal and a couple granola/cereal bars as well as coffee. Was it a HORRIBLE stay, nope. Was it subpar? yes. Will I ever return...no.
- 1/5
The gm is rascist beware
- 5/5
I really like the location and area close shopping and dining options
- 2/5
Staff doesnt know how to address concerns, no creamer for coffee in the morning, bathroom doors was accidentally locked and staff said, nothing can be done since no maintenance workers around.
- 1/5
Not clean. Fridge kept making loud noises all night that woke us up
- 3/5
4 walks door. Bed. Nothing of note bad. Nothing great either. I stay hotel 100 night a year and this is just another hotel. Nothing great nothing bar
- 5/5
This is now my third time being at this property. I could stay at any hotel motel or no hotel but I have chosen to call this place home and all of these hard-working employees verge on being angelic. You are greeted with a smile. They will stop what they’re doing to help you regardless of how big or how small The “Customer comes first“ truly is forthright here. I keep extending my vacation, so I have more time here for peace, quietness, and a piece of a nervana. There is always a tear in my eye when I have to bid this professional and friendly salve for a while.
- 1/5
I got here a few hours ago hoping for a good nights sleep before a big move in the morning and the beds are horrible. Then I finally fell asleep and they start vacuuming in the hallway after midnight. How is anyone supposed to sleep in a hotel that does this?
- 4/5
I would like for them to fix refrigerator it make very loud noises it scared me a few times while I was sleeping
- 4/5
Refrigerator makes loud noise like someone is knocking on the door a few times Bed smells like urine and carpet not clean I don’t know if I would recommend or return ☹️
- 2/5
Disappointed in the cleaning of the room.
- 5/5
Nice experience!
- 2/5
The room was not clean but it was a last minute reservation and I was there only a few hours.
- 4/5
You can tell they Renovated some things in the room it was a nice face lift. The only issues I saw there was burners but no way to cook the food. So bring your own pots and pans. We got a little view. :)
- 3/5
Nice area and rooms but there was a funky smell that took a couple days to air out by leaving windows open and air on (room 301)
