Eh. Nothing to rave about. Wouldn’t recommend. Nicer and cheaper alternatives. Night staff was less than helpful. AC sounded like a machine gun going off. Choose elsewhere for your stay.

Our room was clean. No unpleasant smell. Bathroom was clean. Water pressure was good. The towels were clean, thick and big enough. Bed and pillows were heavenly. Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Overall, we had an amazing stay!

Breakfast was available for $14 per person, so did not try that. We were in and out numerous times and the front desk people never bothered to look up to acknowledge us. The room was nice and the bed was great, but the showers were bad - hot water wouldn't stay on for more than a couple of minutes, then got cold, then warm, then cold, etc. Major negative. Location was awesome! So many things to do nearby and a very pretty setting. The workout room was okay, but did not even have a treadmill.

Room still had trash laying on the floor, carpets were wet and stained. Funky smell. Says there is a pool, and there is NO pool, it was removed years ago. The pool was the only reason we picked this place. That and as we were only there so mold remediation could be done in our home so it was also the closest place.

The showers were freezing cold and all staff said they know boilers don’t work but apparently had no intentions of fixing. Booked because of in door pool but guess what that was broken too and didn’t get to utilize the entire time because they had no intentions of fixing any time soon.

This place was nice we had a big room and it was clean the only thing that was disappointing was the shower pressure. I wish it was a little more stronger then what it was other then that the hotel was nice and the fitness room was clean but they didn’t have the pool area as well. Maybe the should make it into a game area with pool tables or darts.

The staff was nice and the location was nice, but our first room the shower head did not work and we found 2 bugs by our bed. They offered to move us rooms but we needed to wait at least an hour for a clean room (this was at 7:30pm, late check in due to sports) our new room had clearly not been cleaned well, tables had food and drinks residue and to top it off we could not get any warm/hot water in the shower.

The hotel was excellent— the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. It’s conveniently located near shopping and dining, with easy access to both downtown and the airport.

As I was entering the building, an individual approached a very tall Black man and, completely unprovoked, used a racial slur toward him. The man tried to ignore it, but the aggressor repeated the slur directly in his face a second time. I was shocked and deeply disturbed by what I witnessed. My girlfriend was terrified, especially because the individual appeared to know where our car was parked. After we requested that the police be called, we became genuinely concerned that our vehicle might be vandalized. The situation felt volatile and unsafe. We immediately returned to the front desk to request a refund, as we did not feel comfortable staying. The staff dismissed the severity of the incident and initially indicated that it was not serious enough to involve the police. Although they later said they would call, no action was taken. The manager explained that because the other individual did not want to pursue the matter, they chose not to involve law enforcement. At that point, our concern was no longer just about the initial incident, but about the hotel’s failure to prioritize the safety and well-being of its guests. We felt completely unsupported and unsafe, which left us no choice but to leave immediately without even settling into the room. We subsequently booked ahotel through the site

It’s in the condition you’d expect for the nightly cost, but needs a lot of updates. Heat has a funky smell and a lot of things in the room are just really old. You get what you pay for!

This was a quick one night stay. We arrived quite late and the gentleman at the counter was very descriptive as to where to go as well as how to keep the “old school magnetic” key to work. Implying that it couldn’t be anywhere near a cellphone. I totally get it but it didn’t require a 45 second explanation as to why their key cards are inferior. It made me wonder what the room was going to be like. Truthfully, I was very surprised at how nice it was. It had a nice separation between the couch and the bed/bedroom. We had a king bed as opposed to two twins. It was perfect. It was also very reasonably priced. $115 on a Friday night literally booked at 9:30 pm. It’s usually typically very pricey Monday through Thursday because people stay here when they come in for CDW whose corporate headquarters are right next door. Loved the stay. Thanks Indigo!

There was no hot water for the showers during the 4 days and 3 nights that we stayed. There were a ton bugs in the room by the window. There was no extra bedding for the pull out couch. The pool was under construction and not usable. The sheets and blankets we had to use were worn out and had holes in them. Would not recommend and will not be staying there again in the future.

The hotel must have good soundproofing too because I cannot recall hearing a sound outdoors except coyotes howling as they passed through before daybreak, which is not uncommon for Lake County.

Large spacious Room! The stay was for our Navy Boot Camp Grad . They welcomed them after Graduation and we used it as a home away from home on their Liberty ! Close enough to base , but around all the food and shoping . Takes about a hour in heavy traffic to get to The big city , but we did it twice .

No hot water, an elevator that decided to emit a screeching sound every hour throughout the night, and deciding to plow the parking lot at 3am. Those items didn’t equate to an ideal sleep.

Good clean comfortable... close to shopping options easy to get door dash... only 2 issues, 1 keys kept needing to be reprogrammed, and i called for some blankets and pillows to be brought up around 8pm and they asked me to come down and get them instead of bringing it to the room... it was a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Couple broken stuff

We were given a room with exposed and hidden mold. It's obvious the presence of mold is recognized. The plumbing in the shower was loose and defective. The water would come out cold or scalding hot, no in-between. We will not be staying here again.

I did have an issue with a clogged sink one time, and a malfunctioning ac unit in another. That being said, any time I brought an issue to the attention of the front desk, the issue was pleasantly and quickly addressed. Love the staff, and will most likely stay there again

The room was very dirty and dark. The floors were sticky and dirty. The couch had horrible stains and that had to be covered with sheets. The shower had mold and was very small.

It was a decent place to stay for the price. All the rooms they have has a sofa with pull out bed which was pretty helpful with our big family. Staff was friendly. The hotel was close to shopping centers and restaurants. We did have some issues with our bathroom but they did fix it and gave us alternative solution.

The key card system was awful. Our first set of cards did not work on our room door so we have to go back to front desk. Then none of the sets they gave us worked at back door which is locked. The front parking lot is small so needed to park in back. Two females coming in late, so not appreciated. They did have a doorbell. The room was spacious and great. Just a heads up no blow dryer in room.

There was not a blow dryer in the room, asked front desk 2 times to bring one up, they left notes for housekeeping but one never showed up. Was disappointed no free breakfast, not even coffee. Coffee pot in room but only decaffeinated and tea. Only 1 cup as well. I think they want you to pay $5 for coffee at the bar/restaurant.

When we arrived, the room had not been made. The refrigerator wasn’t working, so I went to let them know and they went ahead and cleaned the room and got us a new refrigerator. When we came back to the room, we noticed there was water on the floor in the bathroom and I told him I didn’t know if the shower was leaking or the toilet and I told him again our room wasn’t made and this time I spoke to Management. All she did was offer to move us to the second room. I wasn’t happy with our stay, but I had no other choice as all the other hotels were booked due to the Navy graduating. The trash in our bathroom was overflowing.I feel they did not go above and beyond to accommodate us. They just went ahead and did what they had to do, but that’s about it

Everything is broken. I booked 3 nights but only stayed 1. I asked for a room away from the ice machine. I was told the ice machine was broken so it doesn't matter. That sums it up.

Removed to this hotel from an unacceptable one down the street. I was worried from my first experience with the previous hotel chain. This place was lovely. It beyond met my expectations.

Spacious rooms that allowed for gathering without feeling crowded. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Small lobby but it had plenty of private spaces to sit. Responsive front desk that was quick to supply us with soap when it wasn’t in the room.

The power was out for the majority of the evening and especially when we checked in nothing went as planned, and I want some sort of compensation

Part of my party had bed bugs. My room didn’t but there was no housekeeping, vending machines, and pool is closed.

The water was hit or miss. It was either scalding hot, or freezing cold. Taking a shower took forever, because the temperature was hard to gauge. The air conditioner was very loud, but worked. The pool was out of commission. I’m not sure why. My friend got stuck in the elevator, because the maintenance man was working on it, but didn’t have a sign in front of it telling customers not to use it. When she confronted the staff, they offered no apology, and they said they laughed when they heard her screaming. The location is excellent . There are stores, restaurants and a mall nearby.

The hotel had a great staff, but unfortunately the pool had been closed for health inspections and will be until 2026. The shops and dining around the property were excellent. They also were having tons of issues with rooms and elevator malfunctions.

Online was provided an accurate description of room and partial truth of amenities. A continental breakfast was stated however it was not continental but paid for restaurant style. A pool was in amenities but at arrival there was a condemned sign at pool. The official website did not have this annotated as well. The ice machines were not of use. I’m suspecting a water issue. They were gathering ice from the bistro area…was that ice safe? The above was not annotated/stated by service desk at check in. Room: we checked in and went up to room. Upon entering it was musty smelling and humid. Proceeded to turn on AC unit to find gathering of dust and pink/black mold in vent. I took pics. Shower had pink mold on wall, black mold in corners and drain. Shower was either ice cold or burning hot. After attempting to figure water out I called down to front desk to get a room change. New room: huge improvement. Was not musty and room was set for occupancy. The water in shower worked. There was still mold in shower drain. The pull out did not have bedding. Requested and receive bedding for it. Stayed for 2 nights. The pool and breakfast were a big reason for choosing this place for my children to keep occupied and fed in a convenient location near my surgical center. The front doors are automatic. The exterior auto door will chop you in half as it does not stop closing even if it hits you. My walker was throw out of hands. ***more to add but not enough characters.

We booked this hotel because when booking it stated, had breakfast and a pool and connecting rooms. When we get there, we’re told our style rooms cannot be connected, but they’re right next to each other. But they weren’t. They were across the hall on the same floor and that’s fine but update your website and communicate better with customers. The first morning we try to go get breakfast and we’re told we have to pay for breakfast! $14 for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is ridiculous. When I explained to the gentleman that we picked this hotel because it included breakfast, he told me to show him where it says that. Then proceeded with an attitude stating that because our rooms were discounted through Expedia, we don’t get breakfast. We went to check out the pool because we planned on having a bum pool day. And when we got there, there was a notice that it was closed by the health department due to bacteria. You would think because of that inconvenience they would’ve at least offered us free breakfast, but they didn’t. We also had to keep getting our cards re-registered to our rooms twice a day. Honestly, we only slept there because of all the nonsense. We will never be staying there again and do not recommend it for anybody to stay there.

PROPERTY IS NOT WELL MAINTAINED OR SECURED. VERY RUN DOWN FURNISHINGS AND SINKS AND SHOWER CLOGGED AND NO PRESSURE. THE LOBBY IS OVERTAKEN WITH LARGE GROUPS DRINKING AND PARTYING. I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS PROPERTY. WE LEFT AFTER FIRST NIGHT, AND STAYED AT ANOTHER HOTEL THAT WAS CLEAN AND QUIET.

The AC kept powering off at random and the room was unbearable. Luckily ice was available in the igloo cooler they put in the lobby.. instead of working ice machines. I paid $200 a night for 2 nights and stayed for 6 hours of one of them. Place is awful.

Overall was good. Friendly staff and free breakfast. Comfortable and clean room in a safe and good area. The initial room after checking in was very smelly and disgusting. Staff helped and changed the room. Also, last night, there was an extremely loud (fire?) alarm in the middle of the night. People woke up and tried to get out of their rooms and go downstairs. Then the alarm stopped. It was a mess. Overall good, but had to share those two unfortunate events.

A good place to stay for 2 days for a wedding. It is noisy due to my room is next to the elevators. People were loud going in and out of the elevators.

The pool was disgusting. Very green & smelled horrible. The pull out couch was filthy and had a dirty sock, no sheets & food wrappers. Very limited towels & not clean. Would never waste my money here again.

I would definitely NOT recommend, we booked mainly because the pool looked so nice in pictures. Once the kids and I jumped in we could smell and taste something was off, extremely unsanitary! Had diarrhea the next day. The bathroom was full of mold in the walls and floor. The bed sheets had mold. How could they put dirty moldy blankets that’s just not right! Asked for a refund the immediately that day but they said SORRY no refunds so we were forced to stay the night.

We were on the 6th floor so it was quiet. I don’t think I could say that for any other floor due to there was a lacrosse tournament in the area and I saw lots of kids when going to the lobby. Our room was clean and large. Hotel is just older. Areas have been updated but still overall condition is older. There wasn’t a real convenience store, just an open faced cooler with a few items. Ice was only available from a cooler the staff stocked in the lobby. They ran out of ice Sunday morning. Overall the stay was nice. I would stay again due to location to the sports complex.

The water pressure is terrible. The temp of the water in our room was scalding hot. Could not even adjust enough cold water to get the water not to burn your skin. Hotel staff knocked on our door to clean our room at 7:45am, we were still in bed sleeping. Didn't need the unnecessary wake up.

Don’t stay here. The sink was clogged when I first got to the room. After the phone rang 20x for the front desk, they offered maintenance the next day but I’m staying only a night. In the second room, the key stopped working and the sink water temp remained hot when left on cold. Poor service and rooms. Libertyville is probably a better option.

Everything was great but the ice cooler (a literal cooler sat on the bar. The 2nd day the water felt like hell and it was no changing it.

The rings are nice and large the property is very clean. However, the biggest downside is the pool. We were excited for it to be insured only to walk into a C humid hot sauna that made you feel like you couldn’t breathe. The indoor pool room is not temperature controlled add it was miserably hot while we were visiting so we received no relief from the fact time great. That experience alone was pretty awful.

Came for navy graduation , it’s a great area , hotel was clean ,beds was the Best I have slept on in a hotel in a long time .laundry machines $1.25 great priced , didn’t try the food But plenty of restaurants all within 30 second -5 min drive . Pool was pretty clean . Room was great & roomy with a nice couch … coulda used a microwave in the room & no freezer was in the small fridge … but it was still great !!!

The rug, couch, lamps, and bathroom were very old, tired looking, worn out and outdated.

Door was broken, keys did not work properly, ac extremely loud. The cleaning crew both early morning beginning 7 am were cleaning nearby rooms, screaming loud, making lots of noise.

Rooms are interesting with the bathroom at the back and plenty of space upfront, the bathroom was just very small and the drain smelled bad.... the pool area smelled bad to me too. Also had to have our key cards reprogrammed multiple times but the staff was very helpful and friendly. The area is great for food, shopping, and it's close to six flags. It's affordable, clean, and comfortable. Overall, I would stay again.

I liked how close it was for dining and shopping. I was disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee available. I could purchase it for $5 at the restaurant which seemed outrageous. The ice machines were out of order but there was a communal styrofoam ice chest with ice and a scooper. Also Friday night, the bar was closed.

Room was nice and big.

At no time, was I told that the water in the hotel would be shut off at 8 am the next morning. This would have been useful knowledge before booking. No water at 8 am... showers, bathrooms, etc is ridiculous especially at full price.

Nice area, many stores and restaurants in walking distance. Has a Bar/restaurant in hotel lobby, but didn't try it out so can't rate that. Very nice staff. About 20 m8ns from Naval base and Naval graduation.

Great location. The property overall just felt tired. It was clean!

Like many hotels, once upon a Time this was very nice. Unfortunately, that time has passed. The room feels very dated. We also have no hot water and after reporting it still had no hot water the next day. Some type of mold in shower. Then they moved us to a room and offered us I mean a couple of drinks tickets for the inconvenience. No USB ports.
