Bring soap and shampoo there was none in the bathroom. Make sure you have 2 room card keys because there is no one available in the hotel after 12:00 am so you wont be able to get into your room like me. I hd to sleep in the sofa at the lobby like a hobo 😅. Anyway i hope this helps
- 3/5
The room was pretty clean, bathroom was a little dirty. There was an old soap in the shower when we arrived. Toilet seat was broken and slid around.
- 4/5
The property was clean but needs some updating. It is an extended stay location so no coffee pot or cups in room. The party we traveled with couldn’t get additional towels for their room. The price was good and the staff friendly.
- 1/5
There was no one on the property overnight, and in the morning, the lone employee for the reception did not show up to work until almost 11am. I had been waiting for 90 minutes to check out and get my deposit. 20+ other guests had left without officially checking out, after waiting too long for the clerk to arrive. The clerk printed me a final folio that stated I owed a balance for the room (which I had prepaid for). The clerk tried to convince me this was normal. Eventually, a different employee came by and adjusted the computer entries so that I had a folio statement that almost resembled the truth. Took 2 days to get sec deposit back. There is no mamager on site, and there is no one in charge. I saw guests with bad keys locked out of their rooms, with no one to rekey them. One man slept in his car as a result. No kleenex in room. No kitchen supplies. The bedding had a body odor, which made me wonder if they wash the blankets at all or if they just don't sanitize. I had bug bites from knee down.
- 1.5/5
The receptionist was not helpful, and they cancelled my booking saying that they don’t have a room available for me.
- 1/5
Wow. Where to start. The staff is almost never there. We called earlier in the day to let them know that we would be needing a late check-in. The clerk looked at the reservation and told us that would be fine, just to call the phone number listed there so someone could come down and let us in. When we got there around the time we said we would, we waited for someone to come down and she was very inconvenienced. She also said that she would not be checking in the eight others who put in reservations as they had no rooms left. She said that they did not have the room that we reserved and all they had was a king with a pull-out bed, even though we called. The pull-up bed was only good for one person. Three of us had to sleep on one bed. We only had 2 pillows and she said they had no more pillows in the entire hotel. We finally got sheets for the pull-out bed but there was no top sheet, only a blanket. We had to use the 2 towels in the bathroom as pillows and then use our own sweatshirts as a pillow the next night since towels were wet. Front desk did not open till 10, and often no one was there well after 10. We never saw anyone there to ask for more pillows and we were not able to switch rooms. Often people were sitting out in the lobby waiting to be checked in with no one answering the phone and no one at the desk to help anyone. Also the one lady called her colleague a r*tard. Our bathroom sink was clogged and there was a disgusting handprint on the headboard of the bed.

Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints.

Perfect for a no frills stay. Comfortable bed. No cookware for stove use or dishes. Will know next time to bring. Will stay again

Nothing. There front desk people are inconsiderate. I asked for extra pillow and they give me a bunch of excuses! They even said that the hotel is under new management and ownership and they only allow two pillows! They didnt not clean my room. I stayed there for couple of nights. Nothing at all! Bad service! Stay away! The front desk people are horrible! Especially the bald white guy and his indian manager.

Your money would be better spent basically anywhere else. This place was much better when it was Extended Stay, but it's become an absolute dump since the change to Studio 6. Also, they're trying to force additional nightly fees on you at the time of check-in to cover utilities, and they'll threaten to cancel your reservation if you push back on the lack of disclosure through certain platforms like Hotels.com. If you spend just 5 minutes by the front desk you're bound to encounter at least 1 or 2 people experiencing issues with lack of cleanliness, broken elevators, completely rude/incompetent staff, keys that stop working, broken key readers on the exterior doors, the overflowing dumpster, illegal indoor smoking, the smell of wet dog and urine filling certain hallways...the list goes on. As the quality of absolutely everything here has decreased, rates have increased. I intended to stay a bit longer before my permanent move because it's an inconvenience to pack up and go elsewhere for a very short time--but the inconvenience will be worth it just to get away from this horribly run dump.

Nothing exceptional Staff, AC didn’t work and staff was horrible.. dunno how people keep their jobs like that. I showed up and they tried to send me to another location due to their error.. finally they figured it out and the manager was so disrespectful the entire time.

Dirty and full of spiders
- 3/5
The kitchen had nothing at all beyond appliances. Not a single cup, fork, spoon, plate. No pots or pans. I don't expect much, but if you offer a kitchen I shouldn't be a BYO model.

Very dirty
- 1/5
Everything was dirty in the room I was in , there was items left from the guest before, also there wasn't a garage can. The chairs where filtyhy after I paid for my room through the 3rd party and I paid for early check in, they said that they can't horror it. Then I had to pay 100.00 deposit when I arrived plus 12 bucks for housekeeping to clean the room ,that wasn't even clean when arrive. Horrible experience never again
- 2.5/5
The renovated rooms are good, clean and functional. Location was perfect; surrounding area good, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, wonderful forest preserve across the street. They charge housekeeping $12 and energy fees $2.00/day above the room rate; this was not listed anywhere in the agreement. Desk clerk is absent more than present; unrenovated rooms were marginal. Kitchen area had 2 burners but no pans, plates, utensils, or silverware. No maintenance person available to perform even simple repairs like reinstalling shower curtain rod.

Was not able to check in. I had a late check in there was a phone in the lobby to call for someone to help you. Never answered the phone. Call customer service and no help either. Finally after waiting for almost 2 hours, decided to do a reservation else where. We are talking almost midnight and I arrived there around 10:15pm.

The bathroom was Dirty , no blow dryer or soap and the tv didn’t work. We didn’t let that affect our vacation time but I will not be coming back. Would not recommend!
- 3/5
There was a bug in the corner of the ceiling. The shower curtain would not stay close if you were showering. If you wanted extra towels it’s $2 extra. Did not know how to check out when the front desk doesn’t open till around 8-9am.
- 3/5
When needing new towel, switch with old one. Don't chatge for new one
- 1/5
I stayed here the weekend of a local running event. Very disappointed in this hotel. The first year it took 45 minutes for someone to show up to check me into the hotel on a Thursday afternoon. I had to call corporate headquarters to contact local management that someone was at the front desk. I gave the hotel another chance and came back the next year. This time there was no toilet paper in the room. I called the office and they said I would have to wait until 10 am. I asked for toilet paper at 6 am. A basic need for a hotel room is to supply it with toilet paper. Our room was stocked with a half a roll of toilet paper for three nights. I can not recommend this hotel because of the " No on staff service" at this place. Lack of security. Loud hallways. No toilet paper in rooms.

Room had an odor like animals
- 1/5
They down graded my reservation. Charged extra if you want extra towels. Extended stay that does not provide cookware. So if you want to use the kitchen you have to go buy pots and pans ect. The guy in the room next door woke me up at 3 am each morning with his music. No night stand. The receptionist was rude and condescending. For starters. On the positive side, the iron worked good. I will never stay at extended Stay America again.
- 4/5
Very nice area, clean
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
The location and access to shops and expressways.
- 2/5
Decent place but didn't had the type of room and bed we reserved and forced to use smaller bed. The kitchen burners gave wire melting smell as we tried to use and we stopped using it
- 1/5
My room was lovely and the bed so comfortable. Unfortunately due to smell i coukd not stay. Had to ho chevk into another hotel. What a waste of money.
- 5/5
Excellent place. VERY clean. Will come again

- 2/5
My family had been staying here for YEARS but a lot of things changed this year. We noticed no shampoo, body wash or dish soaps. No dish towels and only 2 sets if bathroom towels for a family. With a kitchen hotel isnused to be FREE pots and pans, your plates but nownyou have to pay to get them. You also have to pay for extra towels. Honestly that was a huge slap in the face. If you plan on staying i suggest you bring your own towels and plates, cooking wear and shampoos!
- 3/5
It was fine aside from the smell and no shower curtain
- 2/5
They have significantly reduced the services offered since my last stay; the room was battered and smelly; if the price is extremely reasonable, this is your place; but you will know when asking specifically for your tiny bottle of shampoo, but only between 9am and 10pm, why you got such a deal.
- 5/5
Over all fantastic service
- 1/5
I booked my reservation and when I arrived at the front desk the front clerks wasn’t available and their system was down and I couldn’t be booked which isn’t thier fault but the accommodation of being told in advance would’ve been a better experience
- 4/5
Lack of more grab and go options.
- 5/5
It was my first stay at the property.
- 5/5
Easy check in friendly staff
- 4/5
Fairly quiet except for some street noise at times.
- 1/5
I require to discard trash. Limited front desk hours plus hard to find staff at the front desk during hours. Old refrigerstor noise wakes mep up at night and running too iften times.just 2 towels for 3 days. No utensil and kitchenwares. I have to buy.
- 1/5
since there were no rooms available
- 1/5
when I arrived, they told me that there were no available rooms and the money was debited from the card, I ask you to refund the payment for the room since I could not stay in this hotel
- 4/5
No pots, pans, or utensils made the kitchen useless.
- 3/5
The receptionist wasn't there when we came to check in and took forever to come down, also you really can't tell she is the receptionist as she was wearing plain short short clothing.
- 5/5
Liked Cleanliness.
- 1/5
Amenities were extremely limited. A kitchenette without dishes, cutlery, pans. Elevators didn't work. No staff on site for 12 hours every day - even the police could not believe it! You could not pay us to stay there again.
- 5/5
Nice place! Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Lauren at the front desk was great. Conveniently located and quiet. Plenty of parking. Nice size room. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
My experience: room not clean enough, bathroom sink dirty, towels stained, room smelled like cigars
- 5/5
I loved the location, the parking is pretty far from the doors when full parking lot. The rooms where big and the halls were quiet. Love this place very close to six flags..like 22min
- 5/5
I had booked a double queen bed room, when I arrived I was informed that they didn’t have that room available. BUT THEN THEY GAVE ME TWO ROOMS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!!
- 5/5
For a great breakfast nearby, check out the Fried Egg Restaurant a few minutes from the hotel. The food, staff and atmosphere are outstanding.
- 5/5
Very clean, large rooms
- 5/5
Conveniently located.
- 5/5
The manager was extremely helpful printing documents etc
- 2/5
I liked the fact that it was close to where I needed to go in the area.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Clean Room.
- 4/5
Location was convenient but the shower didn't drain well.
- 1/5
My room was filthy the property was filthy don't like anything about the property I wish you all will never sent me there
- 4/5
Quiet, Comfortable, and Convenient
- 1/5
It was super dirty, the bathroom super nasty .... bad experience
- 5/5
Jordan was a great host, he was very informative and nice.
- 5/5
Great staff. Always willing to help. Absolutely 100% tuned into service dog laws. Like a second home to us when we’re in the area
- 3/5
It was older. What is there is clean. I didn't like the shower.
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and helpful! They go out of their way t make you feel welcome.
- 2/5
Cleanliness isn’t up to par for what I paid for. The cork in the shower had stains, lamps had markings on the shade, bed sheets made my skin itch after laying on it which makes me wonder if it was ever cleaned. My room gave off a scent that makes staying unbearable. Not the experience I was hoping for and will not be coming back.
- 5/5
The room had a kitchen and you can get dishes and food f Rd om thg he hotel. It was nice being able to cook in our room.
- 5/5
Good location, great price, clean and good customer service!
- 3/5
Stay is nice, but you don't get daily room service.
- 5/5
Location was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. However, there was no housekeeping the whole week; we had to ask for even extra toilet paper; and the shower rod had a dip in it so that our shower curtains kept sliding into the middle.
- 2/5
Tub did not drain properly, no towels in the room
- 5/5
Only issue was my room had a funny smell but other then that it was perfect
- 1/5
$135 a night for a dump of a hotel on a wednesday night...
- 4/5
Everything was perfect except the breakfast. It was instant oatmeal, granola bars and tiny muffins.
- 4/5
n'go breakfast was misleading and should not event be mentioned, coffee and mini muffins, limited options nearby but that's not their fault, 24=hour gym across the street, that was awesome
- 1/5
No hot water for two days. No one cared at the management, Really dirty and run down. I took pictures to show my friends how crappy it was. I was supposed to stay 3 days and checked out and went to another hotel. Breakfast is a joke and a bad joke. No one cleaned the room until well after 5:00 PM so I took my own garbage out. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is staffed by kids with no experience and probably on minimum wage..
- 3/5
Clean enough. Whole room was kind of Meh. It is fine for staying overnight, otherwise, expect nothing else from the facility.
- 4/5
Would have been more convenient if thete was more to the breakfast
- 3/5
Can’t beat price. Location was perfect, right around the corner from the athletic fields (in town for a tournament at Vernon hills athletic fields). There is a microwave, two burners, fridge/freezer. Room was sufficient size for this family of three and beds were comfortable. There was not one utensil, cup, plate, pot or pan however. There were crumbs and hair inside several drawers. Cupboard doors were broken. Towels were threadbare. We stayed three nights and had no housecleaning service whatsoever. You get what you pay for!
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Hotel was very clean and comfortable enough. Our only real complaint was the pillows were horrible, like marshmallows! So soft that after using three of them to sleep we still woke up with neck aches.
- 2/5
Unoccupied next-door room had alarm going off at 4 a.m. to 630 & the front desk would not could not turn off. Hmmm
- 3/5
This was a good value. Nothing great jumps out at me and nothing bad.
- 3/5
It was ok for price.
- 5/5
It was close to home. We didnt have any problems with out stay. The hotel was quiet even though pet friendly.
- 4/5
no coffee maker in the room, most hotels have at least a coffee maker in the room
- 1/5
This hotel was not clean and sparcly furnished for an extended stay. We left early.
- 2/5
Bathroom was dirty, the card holder that they gave us said they deliver cups, silverware ect. To your room but they told me I had to walk down from the 3rd floor to pick up what I wanted from the front desk, are key wouldn't work for our door half the time, and lastly we only had one trash can when all rooms have two.
- 3/5
It was fairly nice. Rooms could be a bit more updated. Good location.
- 3/5
Good budget and close to mall attractions. However, late at night there was no staff at front desk and my hotel room has not been cleaned in nearly a week now.
- 4/5
The stay was amazing! Great location and plenty of nice restaurants.
- 4/5
Great hotel and even greater price. The location was perfect and right by everything you could ever think you needed or wanted. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. My only downside was breakfast or should I say lack there of.
- 5/5
It was great I would definitely recommend this location.
- 2/5
Customer service was disappointing.. Especially from Management
- 2/5
Why have a kitchen with nothing equipped to cook with. I will not stay at this chain of hotels again
- 2/5
Kitchenette but no dishes glasses cutlery etc. Beds need upgrade
- 3/5
Breakfast is granola bars and a prepackaged mini muffin if you are lucky. There was coffee but I never got any because carafe was always empty. The bed was OK. Bedding was old and worn. Furniture was dated. Looks like carpet might have been updated recently. Fridge was dented in 2 places, cabinets were gross - I never used any of it. Bathroom was outdated but usable, sink drained extremely slow but shower was ok. Stay was 3 nights. No ice machine. No vending. Quiet for the most part. I didn’t get the impression this hotel was corporate owned. I spent very little on this room but it was too much if you ask me!
- 1/5
There is no daily cleaning; the breakfast (if that's what you call it) is horrible; the hotel is dark and dingy; and the staff is very unfriendly
- 4/5
This hotel staff is very friendly! I ended up at this hotel when I canceled my reservation for a previous hotel!! Very clean!
- 3/5
Average hotel quiet staff was nice a dog barking but otherwise ok
- 5/5
Had exactly what we need. Fridge/ freezer is perfect!
- 4/5
Nice stay, no ice machine in hotel. Otherwise ok.
- 5/5
No complaints! Price, comfort, room set up. Exactly what we needed and more. Will definately use again and again!
- 3/5
Staff was very accommodating! really my only complaint was that the cabinets in the kitchenette area were dirty. If you are a coffee drinker you can 'borrow' a coffee maker and mugs from the front desk - but the coffee they provide you is pretty gross.
- 3/5
A little slow at check in weren’t sure if Room was ready to go
- 4/5
Overall, it was a quiet and comfy suite. If we would have known, or investigated when booking the room that there was a kitchen, we would made of goo use of the kitchen.
- 2/5
I got to the hotel at 1 am, which was 30 minutes after making the reservation on Hotels.com. Had to wait in the lobby for half an hour while the night audit ran (and night clerk went out for a smoke). Goes to check me in and tells me I am at the wrong hotel. I drag my bags back to the car, enter the address off the confirmation on the app, map tells me I am at the right hotel. Drag the bags back in another 10 minutes and oh here is your reservation. Checking out the next day, no one at the front desk for 15 minutes, so I leave 2 days later they try to charge my credit card for the full stay, which was already prepaid with Hotels.com. Hotel was adequate and not bad. Just dated and worn. But the service made it so not worth it. Will pay a little more and have better service and a good breakfast in the morning.
- 2/5
We waited for five minutes at the door before a hotel staff member came to the lobby to let us in. We were calling from a house phone just outside the locked sliding door. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. There was no breakfast of any kind which I've never experienced at an extended stay...
- 5/5
In town for a class reunion and wanted a room close to the venue. The hotels on our list were booked and this was a last resort. The girl at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. The girl in the morning at the grabs and go breakfast was also friendly and helpful. If we are in the area again this will be our first choice.
- 4/5
average hotel in a good location
- 1/5
No staff at the front desk ALL TIMES - you have to call "0" to talk to them The room are very humid The sheets and blankets are probably the cheapest and doesn't smell good
- 2/5
Let's blast back to the seventies! All of green and gold colors and I think the bedspread was that old!
- 5/5
The accommodation was great, the room was large and clean. The area was clean and kept well
- 2/5
Quick check in led to unpleasant stay. The room had a strange oder of fry oil and cigarette butts. Couldn't pin point where the oder was coming from, but my guess would be the ventilation ducts. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and I didn't get much sleep. Leaving some packaged granola bars and muffins with cheap coffee should not be considered a "breakfast on the go".
- 5/5
All good it was a short stay they said they need a better breakfast and they need to clean the rooms more and I would stay there again
- 3/5
My stay was satisfactory, never got a receipt, how do I get a receipt?
- 4/5
Easy to book, clean and had been renovated. Room was quiet, bed and pillows comfortable. Refrigerator was nice and cold for beverages. Breakfast was only coffee and packaged muffins, but that wasn't a priority for us anyway. Location is halfway between mall, shopping & restaurants to north in Vernon Hills and restaurants and live theatre to south in Lincolnshire.
- 4/5
Close to everything! Would stay here again.
