Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, the rooms are often described as small, outdated, and dirty, with several reports of mice and other pests. The location is generally seen as convenient and close to many attractions.

It was truly a great experience. If ever I was in Washington again, this would be my first hotel choice.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was great! Our room was nothing special but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Staff are nice
- 5/5
Great staff all around, especially Daryl! Good breakfast
- 4/5
Everything was suitable and accessible. I didn't like the huge gap between the floor and the door to hallway at all but it was what it was. None of the bedside lights worked properly until the night before l left. The iron was the most disgusting bc when I attempted to iron all this calcified white stuff ruined what l was attempting to iron. I had to get a iron so none if the rest of my clothing got messed up. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Staff was lovely.
- 3/5
Staff was great and cleanliness was good. Rooms have had some refreshing and bed was very comfortable. Window treatments and soft furniture were old and detracted from a great experience
- 5/5
Friendly and attentive staff. Easy walk to McPherson metro station. Excellent breakfast and clean room.
- 4/5
Some primarily aesthetic repairs needed but the rooms were nice and clean with free water and cookies in the lobby
- 4/5
Lugar limpio Céntrico, hay un súper a unos pasos Libre de humo Silencioso El aire acondicionado es algo ruido, no se puede dormir con el puesto Buen desayuno
- 3/5
The front desk staff was amazing but the cleaning crew left a lot to be desired. The garbage was not emptied over my 2 night stay nor was the floor swept.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3/5
Liked breakfast and location. However they take too long to release your one night charge and $100 deposit hold. Stayed in another hotel a few days after and already received my $100 deposit back whilst am still waiting one week after checking out from there for my one night deposit and $100 deposit since they charged my card for all the nights I was there instead of deducting the first night.
- 2.5/5
It was good value for the money. It was a well proportioned room, and I liked the way they used the space. There was no parking. It was disappointing, because I came from out of town.

Location was close to many tourist sites Crowded breakfast place
- 2.5/5
Overall an ok place. The breakfast is very basic, think plastic cutlery. My AC unit was rattling and kept me up a few nights. There it took them two day to repair it and no other rooms where offered. The day of checkout I left my bag at the hotel for a few hours to do some sightseeing before returning and heading to the airport. When discreetly asking different staff if there was a restroom to borrow in order to get changed before my flight, I was repeatedly challenged with "Are you a customer?" and "Are you staying here?". But I figure that may be a cultural thing.

Location was great for us to walk. The room was comfortable Breakfast hours could of been a little longer and room is small.
- 4/5
The bed was comfortable. Aside from being clean, a comfortable bed is the most important thing for a good stay. The staff is very friendly as well.
- 1/5
Very disappointed with this hotel. The bathroom sink was literally dropping from the bottom and appeared unsafe to use. The bathroom was dirty and clearly not cleaned properly. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and we even found bugs in the room and I we got bit. Overall, the property was poorly maintained and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The parking is about 10 minutes away. I would not recommend staying here.
- 1/5
The location They didn’t clean the room, they didn’t do the bed, they didn’t give you the things to take shower. The breakfast it’s really poor.

- 2/5
The room itself was okay, but unfortunately it didn’t feel properly cleaned when I arrived. The floor was sticky, and my shoes were literally sticking to it while walking around. Because of that, I had to keep my shoes on the entire time, since the idea of walking in socks or barefoot felt really unpleasant. It definitely affected the overall comfort of the stay.
- 2/5
What I really liked was the location of the hotel. It’s close to the city center, and I was able to walk everywhere I needed. Most places were only about 15 minutes away on foot, which felt perfect for the price.

Terrible service
- 4/5
Location was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok. I did find this location to be very noisy at night, but I guess that’s D.C.
- 3/5
Great location. Breakfast included. Wifi hardly worked.

- 4/5
Great value for the price and helpful staff. Be aware that parking is not on site, so you have to walk about 3 blocks to get your car. Not ideal if you are handicapped .
- 4/5
We paid for a King size bed but our room had Full size bed.
- 3/5
Small room. Very helpful and courteous staff.
- 1/5
Internet absolutely terrible. Breakfast was fine. Hotel was robbed right before I checked in. Cops and forensics were literally dusting for fingerprints as I was checking in right next to me. Double bed room was SO SMALL. Housekeeping had left their supplies and dirty rags in the room when I first walked in. The offsite parking isn’t that close.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 3/5
They need to make their breakfast are bigger or let people take the food to their room

Daryl at the front desk is awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Parking is at a garage a few doors away. Very convenient location for DC site seeing.

The breakfast room was super nice and unique, it was in the basement of the building , the variety of foods was amazing! The room must have been recently remodeled with that new smell ! Nice king bed

Clean rooms, everything is close by, breakfast was a plus, very friendly staff. Very recommended, we stay here for 4 days. Family friendly.
- 2/5
The wifi went down for a few hours and the TV didn't work in my room for the whole 3 day stay. The staff were attentive to these problems but the old TVs seem to not work
- 5/5
Everything worked well
- 2/5
More like the Discomfort Inn. Pretty dingy. Uncomfortable bed, weirdly laid out room, and a musty smell throughout.
- 1/5
Room was somewhat okay. It’s terrible staff . Don’t go there
- 1/5
After l checked in first night l wanted to stay another night and booked with Expedia. Receptionists instead l need to pay separately to her for another night. Would not even let me take my belongings out of my room. I asked for supervisor. She called and realized she was wrong. Didn’t offer apology. Than she said same room is not available l have to wait for room to become available. She called supervisor again, after she was told by supervisor receptionist gave me the room it was already available all along. I most cases when people realize they wrong they realize and apologize. Instead this receptionist double up on insult tried to make me wait for room for hours. Don’t go there. It’s decent hotel but rude and incompetent staff
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay. No problems
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Staff friendly & accommodating
- 5/5
Everything just make the lil bigger
- 3/5
Breakfast was fine. Very polite and helpful staff in general, there was one lady at the desk who wasn't very friendly, but maybe she had a bad day. I'm sure it gets tiresome answering the same questions to the revolving door of tourists. I had a headache every morning when i woke, there appeared to be mold in the bathroom, hence the headache and sore throat. Great location however, would stay here again solely for that reason.
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 4/5
room is clean, we love the overnight parking -$10, free breakfast is good. just the windows are leaking, very noisy. overall is good. thank you so much
- 5/5
Overall hotel is okay. Major attractions nearby. Worth the price. Overall i give rating 3 star.
- 5/5
Clean room kind staff
- 5/5
It’s good
- 4/5
It was near to our sightseeing
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the hotel is in walking distance to food and museums and other points of interest which made navigation throughout the city very easy. The team was very polite and helpful i can't remove the young ladies name who checked me in but she was awesome. I think the young ladt who checked me out was Deja that's simply because i just checked out lol but again very polite and helpful. Tge only i had with the hotel was parking the do offer a discount but i couldn't figure it out so i paid full price but other than that awesome trip.
- 5/5
Parking is 3 blocks away. Glad it wasn’t raining!!
- 3/5
I was on the 6th floor but the floors were very wavy. Like it was not subtle, it was enough to trip me, especially in the middle of the night in the dark. I had never seen anything like it! That being said it was definitely clean! And the staff were kind and helpful. The homeless coalition is around the corner from the hotel which is NOT a problem in and of itself, but as a woman staying alone there I had some run ins with me outside the hotel that made me feel uneasy enough to actually decide to move hotels in the middle of my stay. Just writing this review for any women considering staying here alone. I would’ve felt fine staying here if I had not been alone
- 2/5
The rooms are tiny, very dated and dirty. The windows, walls and doors must be pretty thin as you can hear everything.
- 5/5
Great place and friendly staff
- 5/5
Staff was really good
- 5/5
Room was VERY clean. Staff went over and beyond and everything was perfect. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else next time we go to DC🏒
- 4/5
Everything was solidly “good”. Nothing exceptional here but does the trick.
- 5/5
Room was clean, up to date furniture, had a issue with the safe it was fixed in 5 mins after I made the request
- 4/5
Every morning we were greeted by amazing staff and the breakfast was good. Only downfall was the fact there was no microwave in the room very inconvenient
- 5/5
The room was clean, and the breakfast selection was good. The area was fairly quiet. Parking isn't available at the hotel, but there is parking nearby and they give you a voucher so it's $10 a day. Overall, I'd recommend this place.
- 3/5
Location was great, parking was also great - but whew this hotel is in serious need of a remodel. Looks straight out of the '90s.
- 5/5
Desk and housekeeping very helpful and professional.
- 3/5
Shower head was turned to the left against wall and did not adjust making showering difficult. Room size was small and overpriced. Breakfast area was nice.

- 5/5
The room was clean, it was simple and the staff were helpful. I have no complains.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, helpful staff. Good amenities, breakfast was great
- 5/5
Such nice staff!
- 5/5
Excellent experience
- 3/5
Staff were amazing. The hotel was kind of old fashion and could use some upgrades. I thank them for having affordable parking.
- 3/5
The bathroom is small, and room service is not pleasant.
- 5/5
Room was great, location was great. Coffee always available in the lobby. Water pressure good, and breakfast was good everyday. Quiet, other then the fire department across the street, but didn’t really bother us :)
- 1/5
However, our stay was disappointing. Breakfast was crowded, some tables were dirty, and service was slow, likely because only one staff member was handling the area. The bigger issue was the lack of hot water in our room—it never got resolved during our entire stay, even after reporting it multiple times. The other room, where our family members stayed, had the same problem on the first night, but it seemed to get fixed afterward. In our room, we had to run sinks and flush toilets just to get warm water in freezing DC weather. It felt like hotel management was not taking the issue seriously, which made our experience frustrating. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the response felt inadequate, and it seemed hotel management was not very attentive to guest concerns.
- 5/5
Walkable distance from historic monuments.
- 5/5
The whole hotel was spotless, staff was great, breakfast good, no complaints here.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was in a very nice area.
- 5/5
I wish breakfast had more fruit options instead of apple and banana
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The staff were courteous, and the location was convenient and safe. The room was a bit dated and had a smokey odour which was unpleasant, despite the property being smoke-free. The hotel front entry is accessible, but it is inconvenient for disabled people.
- 5/5
Thanks for the wonderful stay!
- 4/5
Discounted parking was available, which was a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Safe area and friendly staff. They were renovating the front desk when I stayed but the rooms were run down, particularly the shower.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and location was convenient
- 4/5
Breakfast was a basic continental spread. Walkable area and very close to national mall
- 1/5
Chambre minuscule, ultra bruyante et froide car l'air pass par les fenêtres qui ferment mal
- 4/5
Good location, good price and friendly staff but the continental breakfast was poor quality and run out of food.
- 5/5
The room had a great view of the street. It was clean
- 5/5
The location is close to major attractions but still quiet, making it easy to get around while getting a good night’s sleep. The only downside was that the shower pressure was quite low, and there were no exhaust fans in the bathroom. Overall, it was still a good stay. Breakfast was decent.
- 1/5
I had a really frustrating experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, I had to wait over 30 minutes just to check in, which set a bad tone right from the start. The problems got worse once I entered the room. To my disgust, I found cockroaches on the bed. When I immediately reported this to the front desk, their response was shocking—they suggested that I might have brought them in with my luggage. This was not only unprofessional but completely unacceptable; it felt like they were shifting the blame instead of addressing a clear hygiene issue. To top it off, the soundproofing was terrible. Throughout the night, I could hear the door across the hall opening and closing multiple times, along with other noises, making it impossible to get any sleep. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I strongly advise against booking here unless you want to deal with poor cleanliness, rude service, and restless nights.
- 5/5
Great experience at this hotel. It’s an older hotel and some of the fixtures in room are older/worn out, but they made it up by offering excellent customer service and great hospitality. Breakfast was good, there are also free delicious cookies, coffee, tea and lemon iced water in the lobby. Little things that made the stay more enjoyable. The coin-operated washer and dryer in the lower level is a plus for family visitors. We didn’t use the gym but it look nice and clean. The hotel offers discounted $10 overnight parking at a nearby garage which is 0.2 mile (5 minutes walk) away. It’s very affordable for the area. There are a few 15 minutes parking spaces in front of the hotel for guests to check in and unload their luggages, which I found very helpful. The streets outside seemed generally safe, but be cautious in certain hours - a homeless man approached and followed me and my young child in the morning, we had to quickly turn around and walked back to the hotel for safety.
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic!!
- 4/5
Check in at the kiosk didn’t work. We had to go to the counter. Service at the counter was very good.
- 3/5
The worker are friendly and nice but some guests are inconsiderate and the guest checked in next to our room were very loud and have multiple men going in and out which made us felt uncomfortable and unsafe as they have a connecting door to our room. We decided to barricade the connecting door and main door. At night we sometimes hear some noise of someone trying to open the door.
- 3/5
The breakfast was great
- 5/5
First impressions are sometimes what makes your stay most memorable, and that's what ours was. The front desk staff welcomed us, and refreshments were set up nicely in the lobby. Very nice experience overall.
- 5/5
The staff is exceptional!
- 4/5
Cons: stairway entry into hotel, have to haul your luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the lobby. no valet parking-parking lot is a few blocks away. hotel is disrepair and a little dirty. Breakfast was gross with overcooked items served day after day. Staff was very nice
- 4/5
Front desk staff was amazing at check in! Room was clean.
- 4/5
Reasonable price and good location. Small room, adequate breakfast, courteous desk staff.
- 5/5
The room was big and clean and the staff members were the best seriously!
- 5/5
Clean room, close to Downtown.
- 5/5
Everything all perfect....spot is good.
- 4/5
Meet the requirements.
- 5/5
Breakfast was plentiful. I didn’t like the eggs though. The staff there were excellent! Everyone was so kind including Robin, the manager. I was moved to a double room when asked. The beds were comfortable and it was close to the convention center. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.

- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 4/5
The staff are very nice and helpful breakfast was nice but the rooms are small. Maybe a queen bed instead of king and a chair would be nice
- 3/5
Accessible to downtown. Affordable parking. Outdated rooms. Simple breakfast. Helpful and nice employees.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Came for a staycation, and extended my stay, it was super easy to do so! Really simple process ! Just wish the hours for breakfast were different, other than that great stay
- 2/5
The hotel is very outdated and the rooms are extremely small. We booked a room for three adults and one child, and it felt very cramped. The bathroom was missing basic toiletries, and we had to be moved to another room because the TV wasn’t working. The next day, housekeeping barely made the beds — honestly, my 10-year-old could’ve done a better job. The location is good, but the hotel looks cheap and definitely needs updating. It served its purpose for a short stay, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff was great, building needs remodeling, everything really old. Can hear everything outside.
- 5/5
Great value, the breakfast was very convenient and they had a good amount of options. Rooms are older but clean. The parking lot is a block away from the hotel so don’t try and carry your bags. Drop off and then go park.
- 4/5
I arrived early morning 6:30am and the young lady greeted me with a warm smile and great hospitality. She kept a very positive attitude. I believe she worked a 16 hrs shift and still was smiling. The breakfast had a nice variety of healthy food. I just wished they served either bacon or ham not just sausage unless I missed it. The room was clean and the bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow of dreams. I highly recommend this hotel. The con was we had to walk three blocks to the parking garage
- 5/5
The room is clean and well maintain though the furniture does not look new. I like the front desk staffs; they are very friendly. One thing that is not really convenient is the phone cable is not really working, so I have to go do downstair to ask the front desk about how to open the shower. Lucky, he got me another phone number that can be called in case I need other help.
- 5/5
Very quick and efficient service.
- 4/5
I was pleased with the accommodations. My only thing is that they didn’t make the bed. Notice was bed only made every 4 days. After being out all day would like to come back to room with bed waiting for me. I shouldn’t have to make my bed. They also dated the had slip mats for tub at our request, but when I asked they didn’t have any. Otherwise pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Quiet
- 5/5
such a lovely mood.
- 4/5
Buen servicio y atención agradable, muy cómodo y limpio…es recomendable
- 5/5
It’s very good
- 5/5
Really friendly and helpful staff.
- 2/5
The room was extremely noisy as it faced a courtyard where multiple AC units ran 24 hours a day. Did not get any sleep and front office was unable or unwilling to provide a room away from the noise. Slept with noise cancelling head sets for two miserable nights.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
We enjoyed relaxing in a clean room. Old hotel but upkeep is very good.
- 3/5
I didn't get the room that i reserved. I paid in advance and paid more for double beds but got a single bed. The whole point was to have a little more room sine all the reviews stated space was tight.
- 3/5
The lady who checked me in a customer service skills was out of this world
- 4/5
Clean but small room
- 3/5
The furniture is a little beat up, but the room is clean. Breakfast is more continental style, the only hot options were the same eggs and sausage patties for four days in a row. Orange juice reminded me Sunny Delight.
- 5/5
Room was clean and you can ask if you want them to clean the room, just take the trash, clean towels, or chage the bedding, your desition. Very efficient employees
- 4/5
The reception staff are very friendly and helpfull. The daily breakfast was good. The location was great value. The White House and Monument Mall is just nearby. There are not many cheap eats option around.
- 4/5
The breakfast is good and the room is clean
- 4/5
The breakfast was terrible. The was only one meat and it was not well done. Somebody is going to get ill
- 4/5
Clean room, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff.
- 4/5
I had a confortable room, Very conveniente as it is close to the best areas of Washington
- 4/5
Perfect location for us to walk to attend a meeting in downtown DC.
- 4/5
Location was great, staff was OK. It’s always clean. Except the elevator smelt like it could’ve stood to be cleaned. I tried to tell the stuff that there was only two people staying in the room and four, but I guess it didn’t matter they still text me on it, which was a total disappointment.
- 5/5
Value for money! great stay
- 5/5
I liked it was convenient
- 4/5
was smaller than pictured on web site. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing. They kept the handicap lift available since my mom and I couldn't go upstairs and everything about the building including entry was stairs. There was a doorbell on side to use lift. The only down fall which caused us to stay in the comfort of our room was like every hotel in Washington the older hotels had no parking and the garage they partnered with was three blocks four lights away from hotel. That hurt us walking so far so once parked we left car in garage and used other means of transportation. It was good they got a discounted $10 per day because going in and out you had to py the 10 each time you left and came back. otherwise the gargage if you didn't pay attendant and put in machine was $27 a day. We loved the location though if you are a walker places were about 22 minutew walks to eat or by car about a 8-10 minute drive.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Nice and close to DC
- 4/5
The staff is great, especially Robin at the front desk. Our room was small but clean. My only suggesstion would be to have a seating area available for those that want to order takeout. Heavy rain kept us inside one night but without a convenient place to enjoy our meal.
- 5/5
Felt like I was on cloud 9 - amazing service and great time overall.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The one downside is the parking garage u need to park in is about 3 blocks away but they do give u a ticket so its only $10 to park. Its walking distance to just about everything.
- 2/5
old property but good location.
- 3/5
The hotel was situated reasonably close to all the popular spots. Big problem was the lack of user friendly disability access you had to wait for someone to access it for you not great for me as an independent disabled traveler I want to be able to use the same facilities as able bodied people and not have to rely on others. The room was extremely tight considering I use a walking aid I couldn’t get it into my room without dismantling it. Also been back for over 2 weeks and still not been refunded my $100 security deposit.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
Soon as I arrived, there was a homeless charging his phone inside the property, right next to the elevator. It is DC, the CAPITAL, this is not danger how these days are? Was easy to check in and to check out, but looks dirty place and not very safe for family and business trip.
- 1/5
Very very bad hotel
- 5/5
Nicely located. Area appeared safe. Would book again.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
The receptionist was very professional and kind
- 5/5
Super clean and staff was helpful and kind. The parking was a little ways away but they were helpful with that accommodation.
- 3/5
Our stay was good, the room was clean but the hotel is in renovation and we weren’t aware of that.
- 4/5
Good location, bf is ok too
- 4/5
Very good overall, staff was nice and helpful
- 4/5
Awesome pillows , and nice breakfast. Just wish the bathroom tiles were clean and upgraded . Staff is very nice !
- 5/5
Mr.Raj at reception was a solver for the issue and staff is also very efficient and trying to help .But parking is quite complicated.
- 5/5
Food options | Bed comfort | Internet access | Transport access
- 4/5
Room was small but fine for one person. Good location near the White House, though a bit of a walk to the National Mall. Breakfast was typical, and the room had minor cooling and TV issues. Front desk staff were excellent, and they quickly fixed a parking charge problem.
- 4/5
Perfect balance of price and location. Check-in was quick, understanding staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and up to date. Wi fi was down, had to call wifi provider who said was a known issue, wasn’t fixed until Sunday morning. Parking isn’t too far off, arguably best deal in the city if you’re driving in. Great stay, friendly staff, decent breakfast, great parking deal.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, helpful and respectful. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was great.
- 4/5
Pretty good experience staying here. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and the hotel is in a convenient location near chain stores and restaurants. The wifi took some time to be activated, but I was rarely in my room, so it wasn't the end of the world. For the price I paid, I was very satisfied with my stage here.
- 2/5
Had booked a stay at this hotel. Had a family emergency and couldn’t make the reservation and the hotel would not refund the charges for the room. Very poor customer service.

Very homey and excellent staff

The room was small and didn't feel welcoming. It felt like a prison cell. The elevators were also small and no air-conditioning in the halls or the breakfast area. Lastly, the parking garage is too far from the hotel. It is a huge inconvenience.

Booked 5 rooms, the rooms on the 1st floor are really small. the other rooms on 3fl and 5fl were fine. the rooms are very dated no microwave in room but clean my dad is an exterminator he checked all the beds lol. I would have check out, but the location is perfect for museums. (parking 1.5 blocks away underground with security cheap$10.00, store 1 block up on the same side of hotel, and the staff was the crown jewel of this stay Robin, Nashara, Jasmine I forget the gentleman's name, but they all did everything possible to accommodate my large party. I would stay there again due to customer service. Breakfast room small, grabbed our food and went back to room waffles and coffee good, the rest of it 6/10. lemon water, coffee, and really good cookies in the lobby 10/10. please do a renovation and put microwaves in rooms and dont get rid of the staff they make the place shine.

Pay for what you get, I was on a last minute business trip so I had to take what I could get, walking distance to the business. I’m usually at zena or plaza. Mildew hallway carpet, wallpaper peeling from the bottom of the walls. No housekeeping unless you ask for it. The one of the 5 days I was there housekeeping left my door open after really just picking up the towels. Trash still in the room, bed unmade ??? thankfully I took my laptop with me to work. I called down to let them know and was met with “I’ll file your complaint!” Again this was nothing decent available within walking distance so you pay for what you get.

Daryl was extremely helful during check in. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good withmany choices. I dont remember the names of the ladies that checked me out, stored my luggage until much later after check out and helped me with directions, but they were also very helful and friendly.

Assigned my family to a room with a broken air conditioner in extremely hot weather and when I went to the room, I realized that the air conditioner was not working and talked to them about it, but they assured me that the air conditioner would be better later in the night and I believed them and had a hard time sleeping in the heat. It was the worst night ever. I paid a lot of money for my stay, but it was a painful night and I was really upset.

The hotel was great! It wasn’t very accessible for my family member in a wheel chair but for everyone else it was good. The fire station was down the street about 2 blocks so we did hear quiet a bit of sirens and the parking garage was beside the fire station.

Hot breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location. Barry Carb

3 night stay for a quick pleasure trip to DC. Room was very small and outdated. The customer service was great but that’s the only good thing about the property. The cost was high for what you get. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very clean.. continental breakfast was great! Room was clean & well stocked! Loved the location..
- 5/5
Great experience. Great location in proximity to the Capital and White House. Great breakfast, daily for free.
- 3/5
The breakfast just has eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, waffles, yogurt and beverages. No vegetables or any healthy protein.
- 3/5
It was overall a good hotel, however, it was a bit overpriced. Breakfast was not restocked regularly. The service staff that came in gave new towels, but did not make the bed. The area wasn't in the greatest part of dc, but that's not the hotels fault

Easy to go around

Overall, for a hotel in DC, it is good value for money. The rooms could use an upgrade but the staff are friendly.

The staff were extremely helpfull

We loved how walkable this location is! It was very reasonably priced and we were able to walk everywhere. We parked our car 2 blocks down in the parking garage and didn't need it until we left! It was very clean and well kept, we will absolutely be looking out for these hotels for our next stay!

Check in staff member was very nice but due to a problem with their system they charged me for my room 3 times. Room was nice/clean but no hot water! Alerted the staff but nothing happened. 10 days later still trying to get a refund for over charges. They claim they don't see it on their end. Left messages for supervisor and he failed to call me back before going away for a week.

Parking is not on property. It’s about two blocks over but it’s only $10 for 24 hours which is convenient. the rooms are small but well maintained.

Nice location , Fairly priced , comp breakfast was also good . Close to National Mall monuments sites .
- 4/5
The room was small but we didn't spend time in the room so that was not important. It was clean, the bed comfortable, the towels soft. Within walking reasonable distance of everything as long you don't mind walking.

There is a market near to the hotel.

If possibly, it would nice to have access to healthier options of food at night.

We stayed in room 205. Our check in person Robin was great. Our room was very small with 1 full size beds in my opinion. The room was on the second floor and you could hear the sirens and people talking by just walking by. The walls are very thin as you can hear the water being used. The staff were all polite. The dining area needs a really big update especially the carpet. The room was also outdated. The area was convenient to get access to the national mall area and memorials. Breakfast was just eggs, sausage, packed oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, bread and bagels each day. Coffee and OJ was good. The parking is located about 2 blocks so you need to leave your luggage and then park there. $10 dollars a day but with a discount added for your stay.

Staff is friendly. Room is dirty and there were spiders in the bed!! Bad smells and pillows had hair and eyelashes. Windows were dirty and had stains on them!! Limited food options and not good. Would not recommend!!

This was a wonderful location for everything that we wanted to do. It would’ve been nice if the parking was closer but understanding it’s a big city so wasn’t surprised.

It was noisy at night, since there is a fire station nearby and you could hear the sirens very often. If you have a light sleep this is not your place.

Overall I I felt the room that our needs and allowed us access to many of the sites that we had came to see. I think the rooms were well equipped with the fridge and coffee maker. There were a few cosmetic items like peeling wallpaper.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located close to downtown DC and had an is park. Block away. Busy area but was not noisy within the rooms.

Only one elevator had a sign that specified breakfast was available on the lower level, and we hadnt taken that elevator until later in the day. Talk about an "A-Ha" moment. Our second morning, we enjoyed the breakfast. The lack of sufficient towel bars or hooks in the bathroom to enable towels to dry was inconvenient. The room refrigerator wasnt very cool, but we felt better keeping a bit of food and drink in it, rather than at ambient room temp. Also, the lack of smart TVs, those able to stream bluetooth, or access apps such as YouTube, kept us from giving 5 stars. The relatively fresh cookies in the lobby were a nicely added sweet treat. We did have a good stay, overall.

Good stay

When leaving on the last day, I was solicited by a homeless person who was very persistent in the “lobby” of the hotel (the few square feet between the elevators and the front doors), which was a first for me.
