we had checked in four guests and got only three towels for in the bathroom. The parking was a vallet parking and people workong there were great

Staff were very kind & helpful—both at the front desk & the cleaning staff. There was a chunk of wood taken out of the piece of furniture that housed the fridge towards the ground. Also the fridge was difficult to keep cold. It had a 2 hour timer on the freezer, & so u couldn’t keep things frozen thru the night. Beds were comfy & clean & everything else was immaculate! Thanks for a great stay!

All was great but the lack of an included breakfast was a let down.

They allowed me to check in a few hours early which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Soundproofing could be better - can hear a lot of noises through the door, but earplugs were enough to help. Overall had a good stay.

I came to this hotel to enjoy the rooftop restaurant and tried on 2 different days and both times were early evening and advertised as being open but closed!! So disappointed! When I told the front desk the lady stated that the bar was responsible for keeping the restaurant open. Also, I had cancelled parking and was charged for 2 nights and never received a receipt when I checked out as I was told it would be sent to my personal email.

The cleaning staff were very thorough and dedicated to keeping the hospital guests safe.

Great rooms and property

Bring shower shoes so you don’t slip. Shower floor dangerously slippery. Also, not great water pressure. Poor lighting. Coffee set up has enough coffee for two days(2 people) but only enough sweetener and creamer for one day. Powder creamer is insufficient for average user.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well kept. Property in general was clean, quiet and comfortable. Convenient location to the metro. Within walking distance to food, shopping, the Smithsonian Art Museum, China town and other sites and conveniences. Definitely will stay here again.

Parking is not convenient. The hotel located on street and no safe place to drop off and pickup. It was unpleasant when I got my car back a staff stopped a car in the middle of street so many cars are waiting behind and gave me a weird feeling.

This is my second time staying here for business. This weekend must have had Multiple events going on it was EXTREMELY busy. The room was clean and so was the building. The only frustrating part was parking. No where on the reservation or site does it say that there is a chance you can’t utilize valet service because there is a lot capacity. They sell rooms with valet parking included in the rate. I would advise NOT to purchase that package. We ended up having to circle and drive around for 40 minutes and found parking at another hotel for the night which was about a 10 minute walk.

The room was incredibly hot and we adjusted the thermostat but it was programmed to not go lower than 71. It was too hot in the room to enjoy. Also, only having washers/dryers (4 of each, which one of each was broken) on only the third floor was incredibly inconvenient. I had to wait for others to get their laundry that was finished before I could use it. I stayed on the twelfth floor so it wasn't easy to go back and forth to keep checking.

My only complaint was the difficulty with the valet parking. When we arrived, cars were double parked in the valet area. There was no indication of what to do. So I parked across the street and went to the concierge, who told me to just get in line and I’d have my car parked. So I circled around, and now there were only a few cars. But as I sat there for 15 minutes, I realized none were being moved. So into the hotel I went again, where I was told this time to turn off and lock my car, and bring the key to the concierge. Much better! The room service food was amazing! We got room service twice. I got the ahi tuna salad and the tuna was perfect - seared on the outside, barely cooked inside. Last night I got the smash burger, and again, perfectly cooked. And both nights it was so fast! The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

Its two hotels in one..very confusing when you walk in..packing as a hotel guest was 73.00 dollar's. They wouldn't recommend any other parking. Grab and go breakfast they offer is a muffin.

The location is obviously great for accessing downtown attractions. On top of that, the front desk, restaurant, and Barrett parking staff I encountered were all reasonably friendly and polite. They were well-trained and made a good impression. While the facilities and amenities are standard Marriott fare (meaning slightly luxurious and appropriately clean), the wonderful staff made them feel special.

While the staff and most amenities were great I was unable to get access to the roof to take photos of the Capital. I was told that the doors were locked during the winter months. That view was a selling point for me booking my stay at your establishment and I was extremely disappointed considering several of the staff I questioned never said anything about it being closed.

Service was good. Check in was quick. Room was clean and tidy. Had daily housekeeping. Elevators were fast. Walking distance to all major landmarks.

Internet kept knocking us off and making us log in in the middle of work. Room was very dark even in the afternoon with every light in the room on and curtains open. Shower drained very very slowly. Gross! Tub itself chipped. Everything felt dirty and out dated in the rooms. They clearly spent all of their renovation money on the lobby and bar area. Not in the rooms themselves. Location was wonderful for access to the convention center and that must be why they’re able to charge such a ridiculous rate. We paid it expecting a much better experience.

Nice hotel in a nice area of Washington DC with a Metro station close by. Most places of interest are about 25 minutes walk from Hotel. Food in hotel restaurant was really nice, and affordable. Check in staff weren't very friendly, with the exception of one man, and a long wait for anything requested from housekeeping.

Very nice and convenient place to stay for a conference at the convention center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. The only complaint was the AC being too loud and making a clanking sound every time it turned off. I asked them to fix it and they changed it to be on all the times. It made it a little better but still a little noisy.

Great location, a 5 star staff, and a really good restaurant on site that we dined in twice for a late dinner upon arrival @9 PM and breakfast before a tour of the Capitol.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Overall a B+.

Staff was great! Helpful and friendly in spite of the hotel being inundated with thousands of visitors for the convention next door, it seemed like this was a normal day and they powered through as total professionals.

This is my favorite hotel in the area. Ive never had any problems. The food at the restaurant downstairs could use a little work though.

Courtyard by Marriott DC Downtown is located in a nice and safe neighborhood, walkable to attractions, it is clean, has friendly staff and many dining options nearby. We (my teens & I) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I'll definitely stay at this place when visiting DC again.

Proximity to convention center was great - parking is extremely expensive though. Room was nice, but someone had turned off the shower so forcibly that I could not turn it on, and I did not have time to wait for maintenance.

This was the best Courtyard I have ever stayed in. It felt much more like a Marriott. The lobby, the staff, as well as the room were very nice and upscale. The only negative was the parking. A $62/ day charge for parking seems excessive.

Updated rooms, good AC, no pool, rooftop deck/gym and a nice restaurant + room service. 15-30 min walk to the museums. 5-10 min walk to shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again.

I do wish our curtains weren’t broken & we could retract them all the way! It was hard to be fully blackout when we were wrangling with the curtains just to shut! We found a contact lens on the ground which I thought was funny & gross at the same time! Overall, Loved the staff as they were very welcoming & kind!

The property was clean and modernized. The staff was friendly and helpful, for the most part. My only issue, and it's a major is, it's that the lock on my room door was broken. The key card worked once, then every time I returned to my room I had to call for maintenance to come open my door. Once, I had to wait 30 minutes to get into my room. Very unacceptable! They tried 5 times to repair it, but couldn't. I was told that there were no other available rooms for me to be transferred to, so this was my misery the entire trip. $800+ spent on this miserable experience!

Very Nice hotel. Rooms spacious, the rooftop offers a fitness room plus there is a bar/lounge where you can grab a bite and a drink. I walked most places, 20 -30 min walk if that's your thing.Plenty of Uber options as well and very reasonable. I would stay here again.
