    Front desk staff was amazing. The 2 lady’s that treated us were awesome. We arrived very early and they complimented parking and the storage of our luggage as we ventured DC. Very good with my 8 year old kid. No complaints and very good price compared to the other hotels in the area. Within walking distance to everything.

    We had two rooms and they were great, but one of the rooms had an air conditioner that did not keep the room cool. Thermostat was set to 70 and it was consistently 78 degrees which was a little toasty.

    We really liked that it was close to metro/subway stations to get around the city. Several good places to eat close by like potbelly’s and Luke’s lobster. It’s close to the White House if you have a tour. You could jump on the metro to get closer to museums or the Capitol or Library of Congress. I also liked the walk in shower rather than a tub.

    Unfortunately, my stay ended on a disappointing note. After checkout, I discovered a room damage charge had been added to my account. After some back and forth, it was determined to be a mistake and the charge was reversed. While I appreciate the correction, my concern is with the process. If housekeeping reports room damage, management should verify the claim before charging a guest. This situation could have been avoided entirely with a simple review. What made the experience even more frustrating was being told I would have to wait until Monday to speak with the General Manager. If the charge was incorrect, it should have been investigated and resolved immediately. As someone who travels frequently and regularly stays at Hilton properties, this experience was disappointing and has caused me to reconsider future stays at Hampton Inn.

    The only minor drawback was the curtains in the room. They weren't dark enough to block out the outside light, so my boyfriend had trouble sleeping well, as the room remained quite bright at night. Aside from that, everything was fine, and we enjoyed our stay.

    My two dayat the Hilton was very nice. However, the next day I noticed a charge of eight dollars US charged to my credit card. I called them directly and ask them what this was as I did not charge anything to my room and I had booked my hotel through Expedia I was told I drank a specialty bottle of water which was in my room. There was no bottle of water in my room and the manager today called me a liar. His name was Anthony. He would not reimburse me for this so I’ve taken it further now with my credit card. He also said he was siding with the team on this matter without asking the room attendant whether the water was even in the room. I cannot believe how ignorant he got with me while on the phone not very good customer service. Definitely would not recommend this because they take your credit card and charge whatever they feel like charging. Also, since the moment I checked in there, my drivers license has been missing and never recovered, so I’m not sure whether they gave it back to me after checking in or not but it’s mysteriously gone.

    Breakfast choises vere very good. Everything is in close walking distance...10 minutes to White House or $12 cab drive to all other interesting places if you won't feel like walking 30 minuts. Quite and very safe neighborhood for blocks around the property. Hotel parking quite expensive, but if you do not need in and out privileges during your stay there are other affordable places around less then 5 minuts walking. I would stay there again next time while visiting DC.

    We came back to check in at 3:00 p.m. Our room was not ready, and we were told by the clerk that it "just turned 3:00." What????!!!! To me that is unacceptable. That's like showing up at your job 30 minutes late and saying "I'm not that late." We did not get access to our room until 3:30, which I find outrageous...really. I have never had that happen to me before. Otherwise the stay was unremarkable. Positives: The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was fine. I would not book this hotel again because of our check-in experience.

    Hotel was in a great location. Room was clean and shower was good. Breakfast was nice. Parking through the hotel was high, but found a place across the street $30 cheaper. My only complaint was banging noise early in the morning within the hotel and front desk staff seemed like we troubled her when we arrived and were checking in.     The room was incredibly HOT. We even changed from heat to cold and it didn’t budge. We were able to open the window maybe about two inches but didn’t help that much. The toilet ran all night. The bed was hard and the linens not much better. The breakfast was okay but it looked like people off the street were coming in to eat. The water at max was warm but not really that hot. The biggest pro was it was conveniently located. Woukd not book here again.

    From the quick and seamless check in, to the rooms and facilities, we loved the hotel. Less than 10 mins walk to the White House, a little more to the Mall and Lincoln Memorial. Also 3 mins walk to a Metro station, the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect

    This is a mediocre hotel with beautiful photos housed behind a beautiful facade. They appear to have done well on some things; the room I was in was perfectly clean, the service was fine, etc. but the food was mediocre to poor and the bed frame moved and made noises. Also, decision-makers need to get with the 21st century. Having no place to fill a water bottle and offering bottled water at the front desk is not a good look for ecology.

    Booked this hotel on the last minute for one night. It was ok. The air-conditioning in our room was not working great. The window opened but there wan no screen and we were by a full dumpster so flies prevented us from keeping window open. Pool was super small and a little dirty.

    I absolutely loved our stay. As soon as you walk in you realize you’re in a wonderful hotel. Great customer service from every employee. Clean and Very comfortable room. I asked for a baby crib and although they were put they did provide me with a pack and play. Vallet parking is $50 but super convenient and worth it. Free breakfast was actually good. Lots of variety and flavorful. I highly recommend this hotel. 100 out of 10

    This Hampton hotel in the middle of downtown DC was a wonderful choice for my wife and me to stay two nights. The location is perfect for so many reasons. Whether exploring the sites or finding restaurants and shopping, this is the place. The hotel itself is really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. (As far as parking, I recommend you bite the bullet and pay $50/day for the valet. It worked well for us.) The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Good enough to save a few bucks and tide you over till lunch. The only reason I am rating it a four is for two reasons. First, one elevator of the two was out for both our nights stay. This wouldn't be a huge issue if they weren't so necessary. They are necessary because there is a lot of foot traffic and the layout of the floors requires you to use them. Second, the AC was wonky. We went at the end of summer and it was relatively hot, so AC was vital. Well, we woke up both nights sweating because the temp in our room was near 80 degrees. We told the staff and they mentioned something about the AC being motion activated?!? Who knows, but it wasn't convenient having to get up at 2 AM sweating to turn it back on. All things considered, it was a good stay and we will definitely be back.

    Only issue was the elevators were down. Had to walk up 7 flights, but saw a couple who had to walk up 11. But the staff was super apologetic. We were even allowed to store our luggage as we walk around the coty before our flight home. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

    I did like the cleanliness. I didn’t like how expensive the price was and our view was of a brick wall. The breakfast was amazing though. The garage arrangement was terrible. It should have been available and included. The garage was grossly overpriced!!!

    It was a terrible experience. The air condition in our room stopped working once it reached to the set temperature. The hotel staff was already aware of this issue, yet they still gave us that room to stay. The temperature inside rose to over 80°F, it’s unbearable. I couldn’t believe I paid over $200 per night with broken AC. To make worse, no one even offered an apology.

    Complementary snucks in the room and coffee in the lobby were remarkable! Husband loved the swimming pool and I loved the guest laundry machine. Room cleaning is conducted every other day. I wish a garbage bin was bigger if that's the case. Tipping to the maid could be made from the qr code in the room, which was very helpful!

    You are in walking distance to all attractions and only a short ride to the national zoo and cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with Georgetown only a stones throw away Checkout was fast and efficient. Recommend this for families and also for a short getaway.     Very clean hotel! Great location! Such friendly staff! The only issues we had were that there wasn't a micriwave or mini refrigerator in the room. We brought our cooler, and that worked out nicely to have cold drinks each day. Also, a big hidden cost is parking. $55 dollars a day, plus tax. We spent $324.50 on parking our van, which we never moved our entire trip! Parked it Sunday night (Sundays are free) and checked out on Friday.

    Was not informed that there is no parking. Had to pay 50 dollars for valet parking. I figured it would be free especially since I was a club member Also I was asked if I was a member and did not receive points for staying there. I had ordered food because I had been walking all day site seeing so giving my age I was too tired to go anywhere to eat. the staff did not allow the person delivering my food to drop off at my door so I had to go downstairs to pick it up. I was upset and tired. The next morning after check out. The gentleman checked me out and I was left standing there while he was going through some papers thinking it was my receipt but he ended asking me if I needed something. This whole time I thought I was waiting for him. Instead he made me feel unwanted there. He could have said thank you or do I need a receipt instead I felt like I was an inconvenience.

    My family and I had a great stay at The Hampton Inn Washington, DC/ White House. The room was clean, staff super accommodating. Would definitely be back. Two things to mention is that one of the elevators were down during our stay and, even though our room was on the 10th floor, it didn't pose a problem. The other was the fact that we could hear the people talking in the neighboring room which I am never a fan of.

    What a wonderful, clean hotel. I wish I got the name of the young lady who checked us in at 1am on Sat 2/22. She was so nice, welcoming, accommodating, and best of all was so nice to our two boys. This was our first time visiting DC, and we will be visiting again and staying here.
