Wholesome owners (and house cat), good value and an actual "stay at the locals" experience. Good breakfast at local joint recommendations! I wish there had been a breakfast option to make the experience even better

Beautiful colonial style house. Room is on third floor and there is no elevator so if you don’t like stairs that will annoy you. But I usually prefer stairs so it was fine. Room is cozy and comfy for one or maybe a couple. Had everything I needed. Plenty of towels etc. mini fridge. Mrs Andrea was super friendly and hospitable. The cat is cute and likes to be petted. The best part about my stay was the neighborhood. Endless restaurants and bars within walking. Beautiful winter scenery. History everywhere. The the green train is an easy walk away, getting my up to the mall at Columbia heights or down to the government district. Perfect spot. I wish I asked for coffee. I’m sure they had it but I felt bad imposing.

I spent two days in DC and decided to spend the night at this hotel. It was wonderful, everything was clean and comfortable. In the morning, they offered me breakfast, which was really nice. If I come back in DC, I will definitely come back to this place!

From the greeting on arrival, the breakfast and the standard of all the facilities, this was the perfect choice of accommodation in Washington. Highly recommended

The whole family was helping me in any way they could. Exceptional extra help, like letting me in the B&B in the middle of the night (due to snowstorm delays), carrying my suitcases up and down to the 3rd floor, making delicious breakfast. Nothing
