check in process was mis managed. Rooms check-in and rates were not what was booked via booking.com. We are overcharged by about $90. Besides, they booked two additional room in our name which we never accessed. Later, it was a mistake on their end and they were able to fix it. It was not a pleasant experience

Do not stay here!! Rooms have a horrible smell. Hallways smell like sewer system back up issues. Carpet in rooms and hallways need cleaning and shampooing. Staff was polite and helpful . Breakfast was ok. The refrigerator did not get cool . I would not stay here again . The cost was about $102.00 per night. I guess you get what you pay for.

It does not look like the pictures. Looks like projects. There was what looked like a blood stain on the carpet near the mirror. Bed was clean and comfy but that’s it.

The staff was friendly.. My room was clean, but I did notice minor wear downs; nothing big.. And I didn't have a problem finding parking the few days I was there.. The only "con" I can really say about this hotel (for me atleast) was a weird scent in the hallway.. The best I can describe it, it's as if a cat peed on the rug or something (?).. But overall, I enjoyed my stay; I would return again.

The negatives were musty hallways; our room was very tiny for a King sized bed; bathroom counter was too small and they didn’t get their supplies for Saturday breakfast ( no milk, no fruit, no oatmeal or granola). The price was a little high for what we experienced.

The hotel was closed to the mall and shopping center. The A/C blows cold inside your room. The staff is friendly.

It was by no means a luxury hotel. The staff was first rate the breakfast was excellent. It was quiet and peaceful. The only thing was that the room A/C was a bit too noisy. The hotel was centrally located and everything was within walking distance. Unbelievably well organized area with every conceivable restaurant.

Place was in poor condition. Filthy. Pool was green, full of leaves. Not swimable. Looked like someone puked on the floor in the room. Not cleaned up. Hair in bathtub. Hair on shelf above sink. Chair in room so cracked, it pinched my legs when I sat down.

House keeping did well to make our bed daily and refresh towels! But overall.. the side of the building we stayed on smelled either like vinegar or boiled eggs through the entirety of our stay. Lastly, a pipe must have busted on our last night because there was a mighty squealing noise that lasted through the wee hours of the morning until our check out time. Subtle, but noticeable.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the bathroom was falling apart and the shower curtain had mold at the bottom. The desk and night table were both sticky. The beds were decently clean and the breakfast bar was good

This place is very convenient to NASA. At check in, the staff was super nice. Although the building is a bit old with creaking sound when walking in the hall way and some of the furnatures were not in good shape, the room looked generally clean and comfortable. It is indeed a hot breakfast with scrabbled eggs, sausages, muffins and much more. We were otherwise very happy with the place and our choice of the hotel. The only problem was the bed bugs. During the night, my wife caught a big one. We thoroughly checked the bed sheets and went back to sleep. During the day at NASA visitor center, we realized that both of us were seriously bitten on ears, necks, hands, arms, feet, and legs. It was terribly itchy. We stayed on 3/16. Today is 3/19, the bitten areas are still swollen. We were rushing out and did not get a chance to tell the front desk. Our room was 215. The bed sheet has clear bedbug blood stains. I did take photo shots of the sheet and bedbug, not sure if I have chance to up load them for this review. So let mention first.

Front desk clerk was very nice and the location was nice. The floors felt unlevel especially in the hallway and made a lot of noise when you walk. Strange smell in the elevator and we had stained towels in our room upon arrival.

The staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. I really appreciate their promptness and attentiveness. The hotel is close to the freeway and walking distance to many eateries and stores. Breakfast had cute Texas State design waffles. Eggs, meat patties and cereal and yogurt along with tea and coffee.

I personally will never stay here again. Poor service, lack of interest by employees, over all terrible experience. Empty shower bottles, nasty sheets. Wouldn’t recommend this place even to my enemies.

The room I stayed in could definitely use a furniture upgrade. The desk and night stand were sticky. It appeared that the furniture was painted over the old. Overall, everything was good.

I entered and stayed 1-2 minutes and returned my door key to the receptionist and I told her I couldn’t do it. I’m a lady that drives for a living. I can’t risk my freedom sleeping in places like so. That place is more like a Motel where ppl sleep for a few hours to make money turning tricks. Sorry I’m just being honest! The room was below my standards….

When we are offered the room, the room is not ready to be occupied. Total neglect by the front desk. And we’ve been assigned to another room. That’s also not good. I believe the hotel owner doesn’t spend at all in facility. The fixtures are old and the carpets are dirty. There was a bad smell in the room. I think Cleaning crew needs to be trained. The owners should invest in their property by buying and updating things.

Strong smell of weed kept me up all night. Made our room stink! Room was old and dingy. Towels all had stains. Toilet roll holder falling off wall. This place is not good at all.

I love that the sink is not inside the toilet/tub room! I'm 5'4" and was able to reach the shower head to adjust. Most hotels have it way to high for me. Room had working fridge with freezer compartment so I was able to refreeze my "ice" packets. Also had a microwave and single serving coffee maker, but the lobby has a machine that makes you a cup of regular coffee - not a thermos.

No towels were provided in the room but the staff resolved this when asked. The fridge had no power. Staff said they would contact maintenance but this was not resolved in the 3 days we were in the room making it difficult to keep drinks cool. No alternative room with a working fridge was offered. The hotel was rated 2.5 stars but comparing to another 2.5 star hotel I stayed in the previous week, this hotel was quite rundown - decor was dated.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. But you asking how my stay was a few hours after I checked in is beyond STUPID!! Why not ask tomorrow AFTER I have stayed.

For the price you pay per night, its a great deal. Rooms are clean. They have been updated, whether or not a quality contractor completed it. The staff is friendly. Plenty of parking. Many choices of nearby resteraunts.

Hotel room outdated, but nice that the room didn't have an odor. Would have rated higher in room being clean but it needed to be vacuumed more thoroughly. Frige worked but missing shelves and need to be defrosted - freezer flap door was missing as well. Bathroom faucet/shower fixtures need to be replaced or tightened. Hotel conveniently located, office staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel ok for a quick overnight stay, just make sure room door locks work.

Never been to Houston before. Great location if you’re going to space museum.

April was super helpful. The computer system was not working right when we checked in. Great job on the remold, super clean, smelled good, thick towels but no place to hand dry them, needs USB ports, two double bed rooms was definitely too small and the bathroom barely any room, super slippery tub, rooms were tasteful colored and remodeled, all staff nice, coffee ok, my sister ate and said the eggs were ok and coffee. Great area and easy access, cars and parking good, no break in and no criminals hanging out. Good price but the room was way too small.

I was in a hurry to check in and even though my reservation was showing on a third party site,the front desk agent couldn’t find it at the hotel. The front desk agent could have been more accommodating instead of blaming me and third party site. It took 40 minutes to check in. I don’t knw if I would ever come back because the staff don’t know what they are doing and won’t take the extra effort for guest satisfaction. I was late for my meeting as a result. Didn’t even stay the night I left. The whole point was to check in and shower so I could get to my meeting on time. Offered to the agent to just charge my card - she refused. I was willing to pay by card since she couldn’t find the reservation. Not helpful and can’t think outside the box. Got defensive when I told her it was not the third party site since I literally saw my reservation and they said they sent the information.

The cost was substantially less than the competition. The rooms are in dire need of updating, but at least mine was very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I thought the breakfast was pretty good, although the three mornings of my stay there was no fruit. I used the fitness room and it was fine, although there weren't towels both time I worked out. I would consider staying there again as long as the price tag remains low.

Room was little smelly, wet carpet, door all stuck and not opening /closing properly, chair was also good to sit, one can feel the screw while (sitting below seat). Breakfast was ok.

The room had some pretty significant damage that was visible. The bedding was pretty stained or it was never cleaned to begin with. The staff was really friendly. The area with stuff (snacks, deodorant) that can be purchased immediately next to the desk was almost completely empty with very very few options.

The customer service of the front desk agent was really good. She was pleasant and nice. But the condition and cleanliness of the room wasn’t good. The countertops to desk, nightstands were sticky, walls very scuffed and smashed bugs on walls. The fire sprinklers needed to be sealed or caulked as it was peeling all along them from the ceiling. The floor left my socks very dirty. The room had a weird smell.

Breakfast was great! Only two floors so no carrying luggage all over the place! Very Quiet. Wish the lock was better and the doors were thicker. I could have punched a hole in it very easily as it was an extremely thin door.

Staff there were nice, and the rooms were fairly clean. When sleeping on the beds, nothing felt itchy or unclean. We got up a little later than expected and breakfast was put up. However the nice staff let us make a couple of waffles. We greatly appreciated that as we were going to have a long day. The only thing I would say is the pool hours say 9am-9pm, but the front desk clerk didn’t let us swim until 11am which was out check out time so that didn’t give us a chance to go back to the room to shower and change. Other than that, the stay was great.

The check in was fine. Staff was cordial but the premises was awful. Our room was dirty, there was clothing on the couch from previous guests the bathroom was also dirty. It was overall very poor.

The hotel was fine nothing to complain about . I was just there for a night didn’t have the opportunity to use any amenities. Looked like a nice area .

The phones don’t work the bed has lumps and the bathroom is so small the you touch the walls when sitting on the toilet.

The room had stains, the door looked like it had been kicked in with the door frame still having splinters. The direct TV kept losing signal and the phone in the room was looping to please check the Internet connection. No one was at the front desk every time I went up there to report the issue. The breakfast was terrible as well. There was a door in the hall way that was open with caution tape wrapped around the frame.

The front desk staff was very friendly. She was always making sure we were well taken care of.

At check in I was greeted by a very friendly employee Victor I believe was his name. The room was very clean, quiet and I've never seen restroom in the hallway which is very convenient for those who have several people in one room and can't wait to use bathroom. Breakfast was hot and good.

Outdated rooms

Please before you release your rooms to customers; make sure they are ready and clean. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy (as this hotel may be one of the cheaper hotels you can find in the area) just a clean and decent room to sleep in for the night but the room I was given was not it. Amber (the front desk staff) has no sense of resolve or resourcefulness. I extended grace at first because having no internet was not her fault. There were internet issues resulting to her not being able to switch me to a different room. I came back at 11pm (after checking in initially at 7pm) hoping that she was able to rectify things but still no internet therefore she can only tell me to wait some more. There were newcomers that were successfully checked in while I was gone despite having told me that she would prioritize my case as I was the very 1st one to be inconvenienced. But that was all lip service. I was just glad that another attendant suggested a sensible idea to her (bypassing the internet issues) that resulted to me being able to get into a new (clean) room. I was tired and ready to go to bed when I came back and all I told was to wait even more which was very upsetting and disappointing. I’m glad the other attendant was resourceful and resolute.

The front desk worker was so pleasant and welcoming when I checked in. The issue began walking through the side entrance there was a swarm mosquitoes. Then upon entering the room there was a unpleasant odor coming from the air conditioner vent. It was a one night stay so it served the purpose. Unfortunately, I won't return there in the future.

There was a variety of activities to do around the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The breakfast options were limited and not very appetizing, but the room itself was clean and comfortable to spend the day in.

The young man at my arrival, because a home plumbing issue was so understanding & concern with my comfort. The clerk Angela & young lady that was at front desk 2/1/2/25 was special in making sure my son & I were ok, in our rechecks. Housekeepers were spot on. The room was spacuous and the amenities are avaerage. The staff is all very nice and welcoming. The shower rocks! Instant hot, high pressure water! Average breakfast but hey its free!! Rooms and hotel is due for an upgrade for sure. Rooms are musty and smoky smelling but kind of expected it. Didnt expect the rude awakining at 4 am when someone else tried to open our door repeatedly until i yelled. Id stay here in a pinch again.

We needed a last minute hotel room for the night passing through and it did its job! Breakfast was decent in the morning, bed wasn’t very comfortable, but the room was clean and the hotel was quiet.

Everything was great while staying at the Best Western NASA. The hotel was not far from the mall in the area and a lot of restaurants that l can walk to from the hotel. My big disappointment came from the Exercise Facility. The exercise equipment inside the facility was either broken or non functional. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but my biggest concern was not able to use the exercise equipment to work out in the fitness center.

Dirty. Smell bad. Non smoking room can smell smoke. Carpet dirty. Extremely hot water for shower. Cannot adjust. Either extremely hot water or no water for shower.

Our original room was not cleaned. Beds unmade. Put us in a different room. Found a dirty baby bottle in it. Fitness center is just for show. None of the equipment worked

I’ve never left a hotel after checking in due to dirty , unsanitary conditions before this one!! Upon checking and examining the bedding, I found two pubic hairs in the sheets and plastic flaking off the headboard onto the bedding on one of the beds. I went to the front desk and told them and they quickly moved us to another nearby room. This room was in better condition. Unfortunately some other guests were smoking marijuana and that smell was in the hallways in the back half of the hotel. Not good. Later that evening, there was a place where the baseboard was pulled away from the wall and I saw a huge cockroach crawl out from the hole in the wall. No way we were staying so we packed up and left. This hotel is dirty and unsanitary.

The toaster at breakfast was broken. Same breakfast both days: sausage and scrambled eggs with no toast. The staff did their very best to help guests. It’s just a substandard facility.

The hotel was dirty and the carpets smelled bad. They offered queen size beds but provided full size beds. The restroom was unbelievable small, the door almost collided with the toilet. Overall, our stay was not pleasant and we cut our stay short, 1 night instead of 2, and we requested a refund for the 2nd night. We had to find a different hotel and that was an inconvenience.

I did not like that the surrounding area outside the hotel was littered with trash everywhere.

Everything was much more rundown than the website and pictures showed. The elevator was broken so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. Our bathroom door wouldn't shut because the door can barely clear the toilet. The general cleanliness of the hotel was very lacking. Will not stay here again.
