La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Memphis

Reservation was easy through website, upon arrival I was greeted by the front desk clerk who a very pleasant voice when you are so very tired. I was checked in expeditiously, and informed of all the amenities including breakfast times. Went up to my room extremely clean, already cooling down (which is a perk these days) well stocked and I felt a little hungry. They have a little store with some frozen foods, snacks and sundries. Overall a very good stay, I will use this hotel in futur travels.

The rooms were really nice! The pool while small is really lovely. Breakfast was good too! What makes this place so good are the people who make every effort to make you feel welcome! The staff were fabulous and really took care of the building and the guests!

The property itself was cleaned in the common areas They put me on a floor with a lot of pets and there was an odor soon as you stepped off the elevator on the floor and dog hair in the hallway. The beds were very hard and this my second stay there and the beds were hard.

Eww! The first room we were assigned appeared to have used dirty linens on one of the beds. Room look as if had not been cleaned in a while. Crumbs and dust on desk and floor. Phone was unplugged so we had to reconnect. Dust bunnies everywhere! The front desk did get us another room. The second room we were assigned did appear to have clean linens. Shower head looked to be deteriorating. Room (and entire hotel) needs a good deep clean. Pool has rust spots in it and needs to be brushed. Breakfast was ok. We do they had a few more options for people with dietary restrictions and allergies. Staff did not open breakfast until after 6 am and still were bringing items out. Staff gave us a difficult time and questioned why we were requesting additional bath linens. Staff overall seemed very bothered with having to handle customer questions and concerns. We overheard from the hallway a night staff saying that they would not do things because “it’s not my job”. This is not the type of experience that we expected from a hotel charging over $120 a night.

We choose not to partake in the breakfast because we decided to leave. A person was threatening another with their life and banging/kicking the guest's door so loudly. We packed up and left the hotel immediately around 530am

There was a smashed part of wall in room we rented. It was small and towards floor but could have fixed before renting that room.

Close to highway. Front lobby was nice and hotel check in was easy. The actual room was not good at all. There was old dirt in several corners of the room. The bathroom needs a vent- the wall paper is coming unglued and some of the finished pieces were tarnished and green. Spider webs from the ceiling. The shower curtain was moldy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The TV in our room was the only problem (very pixelated at first), but after about 30 mins it was fine. He bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and breakfast was good! We would stay again when we travel from PA to TX.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The lady when we checked in at the desk was great. The whole property smelled heavily of cleaning products, but our room was not clean. We spilled a bit of water on the floor and when we cleaned it up, our towel was black. Seemed like the floors hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. There were noisy guests opening and closing doors late into the next morning, so we didn’t sleep well.

Nice breakfast with several hot meal menu. Smell of the hall way and room was very unpleasant. Mostlikely moldew smell from carpet and aircondition. Dust at all corners of the room. Iron board has deep stains on and under the surface ruined my cloth when ironing. Need to replace the cover or wash it as needed it.

The staff is super friendly every time we stay,love them! Parking is great. Shower was excellent There was a large cockroach looking bug on the floor alive! The mattress sagged so bad in the middle we kept rolling into each other all night. I dropped something behind the night stand and it was so filthy back thereI didn’t even want to pick it up. No hot water in the sink at all, we let it run for 10 mins and it didn’t even get warm.

Room was clean and comfortable. Clientele left a lot to be desired and connecting rooms are extremely loud! Our neighbor sounded like he was in our room and was extremely loud and rude at 6am! Also running in the hall all night long by kids. Rooms are a big echo chamber as there is no carpet in the hotel.

The area around the hotel is pretty basic, QT across the street and a cracker barrel next door. I think for the price I would stay across the street at the Avid instead. Check-in staff, very condescending. Check-out staff member friendly and helpful. Several buttons on tv remote didn't work. Couldn't get the room temp below 74 degrees for sleeping without turning on ac when it was 24 degrees outside. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. I was not expecting to have to stay with a small dog, but Interstate was closed due to ice. I like that they had no carpet in rooms, even though our dog is potty trained and a well behaved dog.

I checked in on January 28, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM. At that time, the receptionist stated that my Mexican driver’s license was “not a real ID,” speaking loudly and dismissively. When I offered my passport as proof of identity, she said it was “not good enough.” I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the office manager was not on duty. Only then was I issued a room key. The room I was assigned (Room 106) was not properly prepared. The microwave was missing its glass turntable, the coffee maker was missing its basket, and the television remote did not function. Replacement batteries provided by the front desk did not resolve the issue, leaving the television unusable. When I returned to the front desk for assistance, the same employee was seated in the guest area speaking loudly on her phone and appeared annoyed when interrupted. Additionally, there was excessive noise from the room above mine, including repeated loud impacts that made it difficult to rest. I stayed at other La Quinta properties during this trip without issue, but this location fell well below acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here.

Overall, everything from check‑in to check‑out was smooth and enjoyable. I’d gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well‑equipped place to stay.

The room was perfect for us, for the first time in our gulf trip, we didn't have to go get towels! Counter people we on their game, and the breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again when in area. Thank you for a job and facility both well done.

We checked in to this hotel on 12/26 and had a wonderful experience with checking in. This time, on our way back home to OH, the check in experience was vastly different. We were not greeted by a friendly staff member. In fact, she was extremely rude to the two people in front of me and was hostile towards me, as well. As a paying, traveling customer, I do not expect to be greeted in this manner and despite how great the first check in was, this one was unpleasant enough to not return. Plenty of hotel options in the area to have to deal with someone like this.

Check in was a bit weird - at times I wasn’t sure if the check in person was talking to me or to themselves, so it was just a bit awkward. I don’t know if this is just on the ground floor rooms, but the ceiling was so tall and the room was very echo-y. The floors looked like they were not cleaned properly. The bathtub curtain was not reaching the tub, so the water was going outside on the floor, and the shower head was not adjustable, so the only setting felt like pressure washing my body, quite uncomfortable. If all this is a tactic to make guests use less water, well, it worked. The food was fine. The beds and towels were clean, and everything else, including the check out experience, was great. Even though the road was very noisy and close to our room, I couldn’t hear the traffic inside.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the absolute sweetest and friendliest lady. Check-in was super easy and Cracker Barrel was just a few steps away (for dinner). The facility was very clean, smelled great, pet friendly, free continental breakfast, and it won’t break the bank. We will definitely be staying here again on our way back home.

Room was not in good condition, shower not clean. Rusted shower head, sloppy repair on floors and baseboards. Carpet stained and needed replacing. Too much bleach used on sheets very strong bleach smell.

Very dirty room! Stains all over the sofa and chairs! 2 televisions and neither worked! The end of 1 remote was completely broken with wires hanging out of the end! There was a cardboard # directory over the phone buttons that was wrinkled, sticky and faded. Disgusting!! Looked like something that should be changed with each stay. Smears of food on the table. The floor was all cheap vinyl that left my socks looking like dirty used Swiffer pads!! The toilet seat was extremely loose. Globs of moldy caulk around the shower. I took lots of pictures and showed them to the lady at the front desk. She put us in another room that was not much better! The television in this room did not work either until she fixed some wires behind it! The hotel looks brand new on the outside but do not be fooled! Oh! I almost forgot to mention the 20 or so people standing around several cars in the back yelling, cussing and drinking all evening with beer bottles all over! I don't think they were even staying there! We moved to the only very tight spot left in the front! Stay away!!

Mattress was lumpy, left side of bed caved in like a dip in bed, very uncomfortable. Tub filled with water while trying to shower. Hair was in the tub and bases of floor boards.

I did the precheck-in as prompted on my phone. However, when I got there, I was still asked for my driver's license and credit card---what is the point? Plus, the receptionist was instructing people not to call the desk if the had queations/concerns---to come downstairs because she doesn't like answering the phone! Really, isn't it supposed to be a convenience to your guests to just pick up the phone? Breakfast options were just lackluster. Your competitors in the area have better variety and coffee machines. Plus when you are trying to hear news, speak to your family at breakfast but staff is vacuuming VERY nearby at 9 am when they could have done that earlier...it's a turn off.

Conveniently located off the interstate, staff at check in was professional and polite. Requested first floor and was granted the request. The noise of floor above me kept us all awake. This went on through 3 am.

Room looked like a meeting room that was renovated into a hotel room. The bathroom looked like it was done by a DYI wanna be over a weekend. The hotel DIDN'T EVEN HAVE WIFI IN THE GUEST ROOMS.

It was the best iv stayed in. The staff was frindly. The breakfest was big and there was so much food. The rooms are spacious and clean. They know when your in your room and when your out and they clean while you go out for the day, and there dog friendly. They even have a place for dogs to go to the bathroom out back. I know i will be staying there again.

The property was beautiful and who can resist Cracker Barrel for dinner right next door?? The check in was a breeze and the reception was beyond welcoming. After a 12 hour driving day, to be welcomed with smiles and kindness was so appreciated. My room waa clean and the bed so comfy. This stop will be on my radar for future trips.

Clean room! But tv did not work. Almost ALL channels were pixelated for the whole evening. Couldn’t change channels by just putting in the channel number, but had to put in channel 68 and then channel down one at a time till you got the channel you wanted! Tried to report the trouble 4 times but no answer from the front desk! Finally gave up and just turned off and went to sleep!

It was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the shower head in the bathroom and that the fitness center was well equipped.

Extremely noisy in the morning. Staff very noisy. It seems that these excess noise is intentional because the staff was unresponsive when you asked politely to quiet down. The manager didn’t seem to care at all. Just shrugged her shoulders. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I was hoping to watch the baseball playoffs on ESPN, but to my surprise, ESPN was not loaded onto our TV. We also wanted to watch CNN, also not loaded. We called the front desk and the woman came right up and said that she could remedy by adding those channels, but it would take about 30 minutes. We said, no thanks. In our previous stays we'd never had a problem with missing channels. The channel laminated sheet on our TV bureau listed ESPN and CNN, so what's the deal? We have always loved staying at this La Quinta, but may reconsider for our next stop on the way to Austin from Toledo, OH.

Beautiful turtles/waterfall feature to the right of the building as you enter. Filthy trash receptacle to the left. The BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! 5 stars +. Limited hooks/racks to hand towels/wash clothes in the bathroom. Shower was fine. Good water pressure. Wifi not strong enough to play Netflix. One small chair and desk chair.

This hotel was right off the highway as you exit. Upon arrival the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. She explained everything for breakfast and who would arrive when etc. It was very quiet for as many cars that I saw outside. We arrived around 11 pm. The rooms were clean, cold and comfortable. We slept comfortably.

I have never slept more soundly than I did here. The room was clean, and cold, the bedding smelled wonderful, the bathroom was clean and the towels were white and fluffy but it was obvious that there is a moisure issue. When we exited the elevators on the 3rd floor I was hit with the smell of mold or at least extensive moisture. My daughter could not sleep due to a sore throat that was exapirated by the "moisture". Was it not for that I would say everything was excellent. Maybe it was the filters, maybe there had been some water damage. I hope they figure it out.

The front desk lady did let us know that she was short handed and had been working a long shift so I can assume that being overworked did add to the stress level. Management needs to take note of this. My husband and I will never stay at this hotel again as it was not a pleasant nor restful experience.

Hotel sits beside a Cracker Barrel. Hotel's breakfast was excellent. The scrambled eggs actually tasted like they should, not like we usually get at other hotels. We now only stay at hotels that have one of those great waffle makers, which this hotel had. The bed and pillows were also great.

I wasn't able to check in as I was under 21. There was a miscommunication because on Expedia, the hotel policy clearly stated that the minimum check in age was 18, however, when I arrived, they said that I couldn't check in and I had to find a different place to stay.

Staff was friendly

From start to finish our quick one night stay was top tier. The front desk ladies were INCREDIBLE. The room was clean! The location feels so safe! We will definitely be back.

Hey, I came to Arkansas to check on my dad who had fell and broken a rib. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to try to help me have the best and most comfortable stay. I was able to relax during this hectic time I will return again.

Everything looks new and very clean. If you like a shower with super water pressure, this is the place for you. Breakfast was also good.

Really enjoyed our stay 😄 n Memphis,prior to our niece's wedding in Nashville. Comfortable room,nice gym and pool,breakfast buffet all good. Very helpful staff,would stay again.

We always enjoyed staying here when in the area. Only issue we had was there was hair in the shower floor when we checked in. Easy to clean up but just not what we have experienced on our other visits. Breakfast was good, not great. Food was warm, not hot.

The rooms were clean and the staff were on top of their game. The only concern we had was the children running up and down the corridor and the noise at night. (Which is not a mark against LaQuinta, but baseball teams being on the top floor.)

a nice hotel, a little older, was just fine for a overnight on the road, plenty of parking, many food options around!

I booked a king bed and got a queen. When i said something, they wanted to charge me to upgrade.

Everything was great as usual. I have stayed at many LaQuinta hotels over the country and appreciate knowing the level of service and comfort is unwavering.

No one at desk to check in. Had to wait for someone to show up. Loose toilet seat. Cracked tile in bathroom. Shampoo and conditioner too small for two people to share. Cold biscuits and we were there early

A super nice hotel! Staff was very friendly, room clean & large! Comfy Bed! Nice walk in shower, good breakfast. Plenty of grassy areas for your Fur babies. Felt very safe walking the area. Will stay there again.

Everything went well with this stay. The room was nice and clean. The lighting in the bathroom was perfect for taking selfies (lol). The location was only about a 5 minute drive from our event. would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. It was really quiet even though they were fully booked. The breakfast was pretty good!

Overall it wasn't too bad. The only thing was I discovered a huge greasy stain on the desk which made me wonder how clean everything else was.

Hallway had crumbs on carpet, shower door wouldn’t stay shut, pictures crooked on wall, lamp shade kinda bent, toilet seat not centered, mostly housekeeping and maintenance issues. We could hear children out in the hall and also everything on the other side of the connecting door. I checked in online, filled everything out and then had to do it all over again.

Clean and quiet room. Stocked breakfast bar and easy parking. I will try and stay here next time.

Very nice

The room was nice and spacious, with a good layout. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but took awhile to refill the empty products only an hour after starting. Overall, it was a very good experience for the price.
