The hotel was great and staff was friendly and helpful. The gym was simple but good and th only disappointment was that we chose this hotel for the pool, but it was an outodoor pool and is not open in the winter.

It was a great hotel as most Holiday Inn are. The trouble is they double billed my credit card and haven’t done anything about it yet.

Location and cleanliness -

The room had a very musty smell laced with ammonia. Guessing there was a pet in there before us.

I wish they offered dining options (other than the complimentary breakfast, which was very nice.) I arrived late in the afternoon to find there were no dining options on-site for lunch or dinner Perhaps that could be mentioned at the time of booking so people could take that into consideration and plan for meals in the area.

Breakfast was great all that's we were there! Front desk staff was very friendly. The dove lotion is the room may need to be checked as it came out watery, we were missing a few towels as a room that supposedly hold 6. On one of the days the face wash towels were not replaced so we didn't have any when it was time to wash up.

We checked into our room and found multiple hairs in the beds and in the bathroom. We requested a new room. The front desk staff was understanding and willing to work with us. The second room was better. Happy we only stayed one night.

The only problems we found are the toilets are very small and low. This is a problem for elderly people. The bottom of the shower in my moms room bexame really slick when they turned on the water. Mine, however, was fine.

The only reason I give it 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is because our bathroom has some caulking missing in the shower and a couple of cracks in the sink basin. Neither were a problem by any means, but it was just a small eyesore. If you're looking for a hotel in the Arvada area, definitely stay here!!

The breakfast was well done and offered a good variety of hot dishes as well as fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. Hreat coffee and tea. The pool is quite nice and well kept. The hotel is right off the highway so it’s a tad noisy. Also, adjacent properties are empty/defunct hotels and business so the “ neighborhood” is a bit depressing…. Not one you would want to take a morning walk or run around. There is an adjacent Taco Bell and that’s it. The front desk staff was abysmal…had the personality of a door knob… didn’t smile, say hello or welcome us in any way (She was there all four days of our stay). It made a bad first impression. Our stay was acceptable and affordable, but nothing special.

Convenient to freeway. Charged me 3 times for the $20 fee. Charged me on my credit card although I had paid already on Expedia.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and it was easy to check in and out. I would stay here again.

The hotel booked a room next to us with at least two dogs. I started to hear them cry and bark at 4pm. By 10pm, the dogs were still going at it. I called the front desk. The clerk acted surprised at my complaint, and then finally admitted that the dogs had been left in the room by some guests who had not returned. Pet policy. Guests should not be allowed to leave pets in the room longer than 2-3 hours

The location was great. I liked that there was a fence around the hotel, it felt safe. The room was wonderful and clean. They let us have early check in which was very accommodating I appreciate that. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, does his job fast and efficiently. I also liked that the parking was free something very rare now a days. We went to get breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and it was closing when on this site it says 10 a.m. Thought that was a bit deceiving. The lady that was cleaning the breakfast area was rude about it and told us that the area was closed but did not say anything to another lady who walked in to get more food. Aside from this small instance it was very great!

Did not sleep well. The heating unit in the room sounded like a plane taking off the whole night . called the front desk and nothing was done. Talked to front desk when leaving showed to him and the gentleman barely spoke or understood English language and really said nothing. Told us that we paid thru a 3rd party and nothing he would do about it.

3 day conference, needed a convenient and easy stay. Quick nights rest with a decent breakfast.

The 1bdrm suite was spacious and larger than expected. The furniture was dated and not particularly comfortable but the beds, bedding and pillows were very cozy. The towels were adequate-neither plush nor threadbare and the toiletries were in dispensers not the small individualized containers of shampoo, conditioner, lotion. The lack of tissues in the suite area or no napkins by the coffee maker gave it a bare bones vibe. But overall the hotel and room were clean, neat and the staff was very friendly. I'll be back.

Everything was great especially the staff. They knew we were there because of a family emergency and did everything they could to make the stay easier.

If I had the opportunity to rate this hotel a 4.5, I would have done that! We had a couple of things go sideways, but the efficient staff handled the problems! We did have to change rooms again, but it was a good thing in the end!

I didn't like the toilet in the room. It's too low and difficult to raise & lower to use. The towels were thin and not soft. everything else was good.

Very nice hotel, great breakfast, wonderful service. It is located in an older more run-down area of town and surrounded by some cheap and seedy hotels. Easy access to I70 and basically everything Denver Metro. Just don't plan on walking the area at night.

Location was convenient to the softball fields we were playing at, but the area surrounding the hotel appears run down. This was an average Holiday Inn Express. Seemed kind of old, but nothing specifically bad about it. I’d probably stay here again if our team comes back next year. (The area north about 1 mile becomes really nice with a super Target, Starbucks, etc…).

Perfect for an overnight stay. Very convenient to the Interstate - quick on and off. Hotel is very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was better than expected.

Great Breakfast.

We were greeted by a friendly employee when we arrived for late check in. The room was in average shape, but most importantly the beds/pillows were so comfortable…so we had a great night sleep. We had a ton of water pressure for a nice hot shower and a great breakfast to send us off for another day of travel. It was so nice to be right off the highway. All of it was easy with great sleep and refreshed for another great day!

The employees were friendly. The room had inadequate lighting so it was difficult to determine the cleanliness. It was to our standards. Pillows seemed new and good quality. Mattress was comfortable. Linens clean without stains or imperfections. Adjacent to the freeway which we preferred for our convenience, but some may wish to consider highway noise. Breakfast was wonderful except the lukewarm and weak coffee, but it’s as good as any other mid-range hotel coffee. Maybe a bit overpriced for the area, with the hotel across the street advertising $37.99/night, and across the freeway was $32.99/night. From the exterior these places looked like they might be a good place to smoke meth and get bedbugs, so if that’s what you’re looking for, save some money and stay there.

Great place to stay if you are in Denver or passing through Denver. Amazing staff, clean hotel, easy parking. Safe and convenient.
