Motel 6 Wheat Ridge, CO - West - Denver North

They get the basics right: clean room and bath, no bugs, comfortable bedding. Otherwise, the room was very small and the curtain was falling apart, no microwave in the room but there was a fridge. It was nice that the parking lot is gated for security. Fine for a one night stay on a road trip.

Hair inside the bedding - we did not even pull back the stained and disgusting bedding - slept on top without covers. All kinds of crack head loiterers outside of room all night long. Door did not close or lock properly. Bathroom was disgusting. Honestly there was not a single redeeming thing about this property or our room - absolutely gross and unprofessional.

Tbe staff have always been great to me my husband and my 5 year old daughter. The rooms r nice and comfortable I feel like it's my home away from home. I fully recommend the motel 6 in wheat ridge Colorado

Staff was amazing, Parking was easy, gate was broken so it was less secure than it could be. Tv would randomly turn on during the night and light fixture in the bathroom would flicker for about 10-15 seconds then turn on.

I went to check into my room when the guy behind the counter started threatening me, that he was going to kick me out with a refund and I would be put on a don’t not rent list, he wanted to see my minor daughters identification, I told him she was a minor and after he gave me the room key he ran outside to look at my daughter as I was leaving the office area.

The room smelled like cat urine it was absolutely disgusting me my husband and my daughter were all dusgusted

Room was not spotless, and the staff especially Bill the overnight clerk was the best, the manager was awesome also i was disappointed in the room that i was in. I t ,ook it upon my self to clean which i do every hotel but this one was dirty, I have here before and have never had a room this dirty, but i stayed 3 days in the room only because of the night clerk Bill and the Manager. I will continue to go their when i need too but i will make sure i get one too my satisfactory.

No the room was dirty where i had to clean myself the door looked like it had been kicked in before so was not very secure i think for price that is charged those rooms could be alot cleaner underneath the bed was dirty tge tub was dirty inside and out but what made me sray for the 3 days is because the front desk clerk BILl was awesome he made it so that i stayed because his personality was amazing'x he was so helpful and friendly and just because i would stay ther again but as for the cleaning staff i think they could do better the mgr and Bill were great the rest not so frienfly.

The staff had a "take it or leave it, we dont need you" type of attitude. My family and I ALL had to show ID instead of just myself as the room was in my name. I overlooked this crazy policy until their "key maker machine broke" and I had to go to the front desk to be let into my room anytime I left my room. It felt like ICE agents were interrogating me and my family and monitoring our every move. Make it worse, the motel has a huge fence around it like a prison. I used to love staying at this motel, but now it is run down and invasive.

This motel 6 is an absolute hidden gem of the Denver metro area. Highly recommended to book in advance and stay as long as possible as you will feel like you've stepped into your own magical paradise with a Denny's just 15 feet out your door. Good location, close to lots of shops and restaurants and freeways, commute options. Other than that, it wasn't great. The property is old and very run down. The internet didn't work once the entire stay which was very disappointing. The hot water in the bathroom was very inconsistent and took up to ten minutes to get warm. The staff was very polite and nice and the parking was abundant. Would not recommend this property and would not choose to stay here again.

If I’d just ‘tucked’ the note somewhere on my bike, the wind, rain, or anyone passing by could have just removed it and then my bike would be gone.

Booked a queen sized bed hit a double and when I brought it up the employee literally came to room with a measuring tape to measure the bed. Then couldn’t find a room with a queen. There were burn marks on table and bathroom counter.

Room floors needed mopping. Previous guest had spilled sticky liquid on the floor next to the bed & nightstand. Housekeeping didn’t notice & didn’t mop it up.

Sheets not clean. Hair on bedsheets. Mattress was squeaky and crackly. Tepid water for shower.. Limited TV choices. it is a motel six, but the worst we have stayed in. Arrived to police car pulling in. Awoke to another disturbance which brought two police cars, an ambulance and a fire truck. Yelling in parking lot during the night. Things happen anywhere, but this motel is infested with shortcomings. Was not delighted to awake to find man sitting on grass in front of our room.

Room needs a fridge at least. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Me and the wife both despised that bed. I don't know if it was lumpy or too hard, or what. But dang that thing sucked. Never received room service over 3 nights there. Slightly ghetto area but wasn't the worst. The only real redeeming quality was that the staff I did see were super nice and attentive to requests when we asked (extra pillows, ice bags, etc).

Honestly can’t complain much because of how affordable it is, but expect random power outages, no hot water after midnight, and black shoes walking around the room. Toilet was clogged when we got there.

AC didn’t work properly and it was hot all weekend. Remote to the TV wasn’t in our room and we had to walk down to the office to pick it up. Maid never came to freshen up our room and I had to request fresh towels directly from the maid. Manager was not there and staff speaking in Spanish were not happy about her leaving and were very vocal about it.

It was great for the price. No toiletries except for soap. The toilet ran forever after flushing it, no tissues, and the towel rack hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long! Also the window ac unit was loud and the vent on it was super filthy. The pillows were pretty good but the bed was not very comfortable and definitely older. Also no fridge in the room. The property was quiet at night and felt safe with the gated property (but the gate was not actually ever closed). In the morning we were woken up by the sounds of a leaf blower for about an hour (and it was only 8am). Maybe that’s how they make sure everyone is out by 11am. Ha ha. Overall you get what you pay for. We weren’t in the room much so it worked for what we needed.

This hotel was filthy. I took pictures of my mattress and box spring. Both were stained and moldy. The bathroom had not been cleaned either. This was the second room I had asked for due to a strong foul odor in the first. Spare your health and skip this place.

You get what you pay for, but all I wanted was a cheap room with a bed and some AC. To be clear the room had AC but when you turned it on it produced the worlds worst smell of feet/wet dog into our room that already smelled of cigarettes. Pets are allowed which is great, except when they bark at you through the walls numerous times in one night. Homeless person approached me at checkout asking if I could put his name on my room so he could shower, I believe the front desk did allow him to use my room to do so, but I was not comfortable putting his name on my room!? Lots of homeless around the area, not a great part of town to stay in as a young female. Again, cheap place to stay when you're in a pinch, and you get what you pay for, but I probably will not be staying here again.

Close to or easy access to the places I needed to be. Good food and shopping options and only 1/2 mile from the light rail station. Quiet and clean.

the motel was what i expected, nothing extravagant it’s a motel 6. however as a woman travelling alone i did not like the front desk asking me if i was alone and i did not like having to have any guests check in the hotel front desk. i’ve never been in a hotel where i was asked that. as a woman travelling alone i usually never tell front desk im alone, i always say im traveling with a partner. i was told my partner would have to register his ID at the front desk. and when i asked that maintenance not come in my room for the two days i was staying in was told that was illegal and they had to come in. i have never experienced that before. i also asked for extra towels and blankets as i can get cold and typically the towels don’t last more than a day if you’re using them. i was told i can’t have extras. which is also something ive never experienced at a hotel or motel before. i stay there because they don’t charge any extra fees for bringing pets however i don’t think i’ll be returning. for a measly motel 6 i shouldn’t have to have any guests register their ID and i should be given one extra towel or blanket upon request. i will not be returning to this location

Front Desk would not give me my room key after payment unless my passenger In my car either: 1.) Removed themselves from the property or 2.) Provided their ID to the front desk. Front desk than confirms with me that i have a dog in the car and decides to give me a 2nd floor room when i requested a 1st floor room snd there were only 10 other guests staying at the Hotel at that time.

Fast and easy check in and availability

The front desk guy Denarius was extremely professional and courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my girlfriend, that man deserves a promotion and a raise and thanks to him we had a great room that night, thank you Demarius.

The property was so dirty that I considered submitting a complaint to the health department. My grandson spilled some Sprite on the floor. He took a towel to wipe it up. The towel turned black!!!!!!!

They take cats! Very convenient, close to freeway, gas station and restaurants (Denny's right across the parking lot). Room was not new ('tho not too old either) and was clean enough for a one night stay.
