It a good location It was all dirty

The only thing that was semi-decent was the location of the hotel. An amazing Italian place shares the same parking lot and it was only 20 or so minutes from the beach. Otherwise, awful experience. Everything could have been better. An 85 cleanliness score? Please. This place was a sorry excuse for a hotel and I will never bring my family back here. Especially not my daughter. I feel like my one year old deserved so much better. The mattresses were heavily stained and faculty were horrendus to communicate with. Our keys kept demagnitizing. We'd come back from a long day at the beach, go to the second floor to our room only to find out our keys didnt work. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention, the first night we stayed there, the front lobby door was shot. The clerk told us it was the wind but Im pretty sure the wind doesn't create bullet holes. There is a reason this place has nothing better than 2 star reviews. Honestly, will never, NEVER, stay there again. If I could give no stars I would.

Location. Microwave and refrigerator worked. TV offered many channels. WiFi worked most of the time. HVAC worked. Floor was filthy. I understand this is an older facility, but much can be updated to improve the overall appearance. Noise from neighboring room caused me to ask them to quiet down. More should be offered in regard to breakfast other than coffee, especially for those who are not coffee drinkers plus a coffee machine was in the room.

They tried to keep my security deposit after leaving the room exactly as I found it. Shady. I had to contact my bank to get my deposit back. Do not stay here.

Ceiling had paint and mold. Toilet wouldn't flush. Faucet was not running water correctly and splashed everywhere. Bed had dried white stuff all over it. We had to sleep in our clothes with the sheets removed. Door didn't latch correctly either and felt un safe. When we arrived, staff said our booking through Booking.com was not correct and almost turned us away also.

It was what I needed and affordable. The deposit situation is a bit much but what can you do? Room es basic and comfortable enough, a little echo-y from the sparse decor and such but again, all I needed was a bed and a shower and I got those things. It’s not going to be aesthetically pleasing, comforter had burn holes, bathroom door was scuffed or dirty, but again, it was comfortable and fit my needs and budget.

We got black feet when walking barefoot. Towels poor quality. Toilet paper dispenser broken. Tiles in bathroom broken. Pillow were stuffed with bits if foam - extremelty uncomfortable. . No blankets in the room. Next door room trurned on the TV at 3:45 AM which could be heard through an adjioining door waking us up for an hour.. No breakfast as advertised. Curtains ripped so allowed main verandah lights to shine though into the room all ni\ght. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Cheap and nasty.

Place was in disrepair and in need of an actual cleaning. Arrived from a late flight and picked from the app before reading any reviews; big mistake. First rooms toilet was clogged and still soiled. Second room had cigarette burns in the top sheet and somehow the lights worked but none of the outlets or the tv. Only if your desperate for a place to lay your head and even then I’d say sleeping in a rental car is the better choice.

It was easy access and the landscape was nice around the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed and the service they gave at check in was just as fast as check out. I would definitely recommend this place for your next stay. Nothing

Our stay was very disappointing. The air conditioning unit from the room above leaked into our room, creating damp and humid conditions. The towels provided were old and dirty, and the overall cleanliness was far below expectations. On top of that, the noise levels made it nearly impossible to rest. The rooms look outdated and worn, as if the last refurbishment was done many years ago.

There were multiple bags in multiple rooms, our shower was broken upon arrival and staff tried to blame us for it, it took over 24 hours to be moved to a new room with a working shower, there was no fire/smoke alarm, and there was no pool or breakfast even though it was stated online that there was.

Too many roaches

Upon arrival found out the pool is empty and overgrown, not in use for some time, but it's still in the ad. No coffee, no hair dryer, not enough shampoo to wash my hair once, two towels and two washcloths. Have to pay a deposit to get a remote for the TV and have to return the remote AND plastic card keys or you're charged $25. This place is seriously budget. Will not stay here again.

Given room in property with three sections farthest away from lobby, behind building facing wooded area. The room was clean, we checked in late, we were here for a funeral and went straight to bed. In the morning, we saw there were no amenities in the room except soap and TV. No towels, no glasses to take pills, husband took shower without realizing, so he dried himself with the sheet. No way to call housekeeping.. I hated this experience- no stars!

First place I have ever been where upon check in we were handed the remote for the TV at the same time we got our room keys. When we pulled up to out room there was a car load of drunk teenagers screaming at each other and another carload pulling up. The lock for the door was busted off and missing and couldn't even close the curtains all the way. We had 3 people staying and were only provided 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. We found a used razor blade stashed in the tissue slot of the counter for the sink. Will not be going back, would not recommend!

Great place to stay for the price. Yes it could use some renovations mainly in the bathroom, but it was still very decent. Would definitely come back.

Ned was ok, but room was dirty, tub had no handle grips for shower or plug for drain—slippery, stained towels, I could hear every noise around me, someone was smoking and it came into my mom-smoking room, a bug got in my hair in the middle of the night—-probably a roach—-but I could not see it.

Check in at 3pm is strictly enforced to the point where every room is poorly cleaned before you can check in and they want a additional 100 dollar deposit along with room charges at booking. That way you feel like you paid for a high priced hotel and got squat but a dump of a night stay surrounded by beggers and nut bag homeless and all the crappy restaurants and fast food joints

Horrible service. Room was NOT CLEAN. Hair on sheets, and when I pulled the pillow back, A ROACH BUG was crawling under it! I called and spoke to manager that said " we're not giving you your money back, you are free to leave if you want to"!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! And I never got an apology or refund!

I liked how quiet it was.

Bed was like sleeping on the floor with throw pillows used as bed pillows. Tub faucet dripped all night. At about midnight we were woken up by loud people smoking outside. The AC drew the smoke into the room. I called the office to let them know so they wouldn't keep my $100 deposit.

This place has gone downhill since our last stay. rooms are horrible especially the bathroom. That in itself needs to be completely redone. Filthy bathroom, mold on door, walls with many holes, rusty microwave, floor under beds filthy, headboards not connected to beds, no ice buckets, no irons, no hair dryers in rooms. Towels looked filthy but were clean. Shower curtain torn and allowed water on floor. It was not a shower curtain but a liner. Sink hot/cold water reversed and faucet really loose, bed spread had rust on it and holes and the list goes on. Sure, not worth $60 for the winter rates. We had to move from one room to another but not much better. Something happened to this place as I have stayed there numerous times over the last 12 yrs. I will not stay any more.

The motel did not do house keeping after the last guests. There was still shampoo, trash, and soap still in the room. After I paid all fees and deposit online, they still asked for another $100 when I checked in. They are refusing to give my deposit back because they are claiming I “smoked” in the room.

Its a place to sleep.

This place was nasty.

I knew that they had 2.3 stars when I made the reservation. All I really wanted was a place to sleep. I don't really care about most other motel services. The pool was empty, but, I wouldn't have used it anyway. The white towels hadn't been bleached in quite a while, hard to tell if they were clean. Several bars and restaurants in walking distance. I told them twice that they were flying the Marine Corps colors upside down and it still didn't get fixed. Not recommended for families or people with high expectations. I got what I paid for and would stay again, but, I'd take my own towels.

The room was as expected for the amount I paid.

The wifi worked great and was easy to connect to. The TV, I did not use at all but they insisted on providing a remote and if I did not return the key and remote I would be charged $20. I usually just leave the key in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but it stated there was breakfast but the 2 mornings I stayed, all I saw was coffee was put out. Maybe I was there too early but I was there at around 7:30am.

Front desk staff was excellnt

I called several times asking for more towels (I used the first set out towels to clean the room), pillows, and requesting the light be fixed. After about a day, I was tired of waiting and went to get the towels myself so I guess at least they did hand me more towels. Someone did come to fix the light on the second day. Never got the pillows. This motel also did not feel super safe. There’s a weird gap between the walls in the floor and the door that makes you feel a bit vulnerable. I pushed the desk in front of the door.

I reserved this room not knowing it was at a hotel that still had the same rust covered lamps and old beds that it had since the 70’s! Dusty, unclean roaches in the bed, bathroom outdated. Worse hotel experience I ever had. Rodeway took over ownership in name, but it’s the same hotel with no updates in 40 years!

I would have gave it zero stars if it were an option. My sister and I traveled from NY and arrived way later than expected. So we were absolutely exhausted. We get to our room and first thing we noticed was the duvets on the bed were covered in cigarette burns. The beds had signs of bed bugs, although we didn't find any live activity, we tore the beds apart before lying down. The outlets had layers of dust and dirt on them, the walls had dry boogers on them next to and behind both beds. The refrigerator wasn't even plugged in and hadn't been for some time bc I opened it and it was riddled with mold and smelled like it hadn't even been opened in a very long time. This lead me to have to dump my breast milk down the drain which was upsetting. The lamp shades were covered in stains as well as the luggage bench beside the dresser. The room was absolutely filthy. And we got lucky enough to have a group of drunk dudes fighting right outside our room at 3 in the morning. So that was fun. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE who wants a good night sleep.

The people were very nice, I paid for my room in advance was told when we got there they required a 100.00 deposit and I wasn't prepared for that since I already paid for the room, the manager saw we were on the motorcycle so we didn't have any pets and we don't smoke so she didn't make me pay it but as I walked by a room, a group was smoking marijuana. The curtains wouldn't close bc they were broke, the faucet in the shower wouldn't turn the shower head on completely, and the pillows were the smallest ones I've ever seen. And the towels were stained and the bathroom door wouldnt shut looked like the room had been flooded. I won't book with them again.

Absolutely unnacceptable, room was filthy and bedsheets were stained and full of burnholes, headboard had literal mold and fungus growing on it. Additionally, this place advertises a pool. However it is completely black water, full of trash and debris and looks like it hasnt been touched in years.

The area was fine and the staff was friendly but the room was dirty and there was mildew/mold in the bathroom. We had to wipe everything down with Clorox wipes.

It was disgusting. Looked like boogers and blood on the walls and ceiling, hole in the bathroom wall where a fan should be, the sheets and bedspread were all stained with god knows what. Do they even know what bleach is? Not even a lamp shade on the lamp. The tub was so aawful I didn’t even shower. Don’t get me started on the pool it was green and growing stuff. Just horrible. Don’t stay here!

This was the worst place I've ever stayed at in my life. The place was "remodeled" but I've never seen shoddier workmanship. Each room had bugs with so many gaps and holes that there was no way to keep them out.

I got there and paid the reservation Waited on my partner to get there. We were in the room less than an hour and noticed that it was in really poor condition. So we booked a room elsewhere. I gave my keys back and they would not reimburse me. I was told that because I was there longer than 15 minutes I was being charged the full amount.

You don't not have a selection of below average. The room was somewhat clean but very outdated and damage furniture.The definitely needs remodeling. The reviews had me prepared for the worst. The environment is of an extended stay a lot of construction works and perhaps some live in's, it's was tolerable and quiet but if you don't like that atmosphere this hotel is not for you.The Hotel has a grade of 86.5 I almost ran but my husband made sure I room was ok.

Cockroaches. Dirty pillows. Not enough towels. Paint peeling off walls and ceiling. Shower curtain rod installed backwards. Newly installed flooring covered in paint drops. Hot water was more like Luke warm. Informed the staff all they did was mop the floor. The door was hanging on by a thread with a half inch gap at bottom allowing more bugs to enter. No amenities at all, not even a hanger. Fridge was so dirty we used a garbage bag as a liner. Advertised pool was not functional or accessible. Currently fighting for my deposit back even tho I brought all this up immediately after check in

Really disgusting room

I booked this room because I was travelling by myself and it's the less expensive I could find. The room did not smell bad but a spider was next to the bed. And I could hear birds all night long and people talking. I think some live there. I did not really feel safe but nothing happened to me. The room is old and there are stains on the towels. I guess was clean but still. I don't understand how you can let a spider in the room and stains on towels. But overall was fine. The people at the front desk were nice.

My bed was sandy and dirty. The coffee table had not been cleaned off. Definitely a cheap place but not worth what they charged, but that’s what you get nowadays for trying to save money.

This was a place to stay and that was it. Upon check in my room was incredibly dirty but the type of dirty that was built up over time. There was marks on the sheets and it appears the door was kicked in at some point. The top lock was damaged and the bottom of the door splitting. The area was in a very sketchy part of town I felt like. There was constant sirens going around late at night and the walls were paper thin.

The staff was great however the stay I regretted so much and seen far better places my curtains wouldnt stay so I was afraid someone could watch me sleep. There was food and stuff all around bed the room had roaches, there was noises constantly like people were breaking in. I had old soap in my shower and old trash in tub. I was showering and grabbed a towel and it had a stain since I didn't buy from them I take all this up with Expedia as I've been told by other places.

I was there for 4 days and housekeeping only came one time. my bed had sand on it. the lamp's plug was bent and the switch was broken. the grounds around it had trash all over it. when I arrived there was only half a roll of toilet paper and stains on the towels and on the sheet. the Wi-Fi signal didn't reach my room, so I had to use my phone's internet.

It was for 2 nights and I stay here when I come to Wilmington and the staff are accommodating and the room is clean I like it and it's pretty well quiet as well

We found a dead bug in our bed and the room had a moldy smell.

We stay one night only we came from charlotte, the sheets were durty. The room was durty. My sister room didn't have no towels. Theres no pool. Or nothing for kids. This hotel is more for like ppl to lave there.

This hotel is possibly the worst one I’ve stayed in over the past 30yrs. Totally filthy room with a lot of people laying around in front of their rooms at night smoking cigarettes. It’s really not a motel but more of a low income housing unit and I really feel sorry for the proper who live there.

This was the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed overnight. It was extremely unclean. The bathroom door did not have a doorknob. it didn't matter because it would close in the door jamb before scraping tight to the floor. The internet was not working properly. The parking lot was very dirty. Overall, this place looks like it will be condemned soon.

The housekeeping staff was super helpful and amazing, because when we got in our room, we could not get lights to work, there was mold behind the night stand, we had no towels or washcloths, or a phone to call the front desk. And when you check in they give you your remote to your tv. They gave me the wrong remote. The housekeeping staff took care of it all! Other than that it wasn't horrible. Just won't stay there again.

There was a good bit of fecal matter on the toilet seat. No phone in the room, had to use my phone, look up the number to call the office and walk down there for a remote for the tv. Other than that not bad, the staff were friendly even while working in their tiny office with no AC.

The room was absolutely disgusting. For the price, I did not expect anything fancy, just a place to change and sleep after coming into town for an event. We weren’t planning to be in the room much but guys, this place is truly uninhabitable. Visible mold on the baseboards, along the shower wall, and on the shower curtain. Floor was wet and dirty. Hair and debris in wet spots all around the floor. Bedding was damp, room was stuffy and smelled moldy. The chain lock on the door was broken off, door and wall were dirty (honestly looked like someone or an animal had been locked in the room and tried to get out). I wish I had thought to take photos but we were so grossed out, we left after about 30 minutes. Really really bad. Pay more money to stay elsewhere. I wouldn’t have stayed here for free.

It's a housing for unit not a motel, hotel at all.

The floors in the room was nice . The door to the room was old and the door in the bathroom was as falling apart. When I arrived there was no towels or bath cloths. There was a half of roll of tissue. I called that front desk twice for them to bring some and I never received it. I had to go to the store to purchase tissue .

One of the most disappointing hotels i ever been in. Mold in the refrigerator and microwave mold covered the bathroom ceiling dirty underwear behind toilet severely stained sheets no trash can in the room, all ice machines out of order bath tub was filthy, door did not seal so ac unit was cooling the outside bathroom door was busted couldn't shut it, bugs crawling everywhere, the loud music coming from several rooms

The property was perfect. The service was amazing and worked with us and helped fix our problem with booking from online.
