The room was fine no issues. My only concern is the staff. Checking in late evening the person at the counter was very rude. Instead of good evening how can I help you. I got “What do you want”? When I said I’d like to check in I got I’ll be with you in a bit as she walked away. Definitely not a warm welcome from start to finish. Morning counter staff was no better. When checking out person behind the counter was texting on her cell phone and never acknowledged me at all. Another staff member came out of the office took the key and went back. No offer of copy of receipt. How was your stay. Nothing!! Front end staff needs some training.

I could see why this hotel is a favorite for pilots & flight attendants. It is convenient to the airport & has a great shuttle service. Our receptionist when we arrived was extremely helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Our flight was very early morning so we didn't have breakfast but it looked like it would great.

We arrived late at night and left early so we didn't have time to experience many amenities. But, the room was clean, quiet & comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful.

Could not have asked for a better stay. The king bed suite with pull out couch in separate room. Worked for 4 of us. Nice pillows. Very clean. Crisp white bedding. Spotless bathroom. Great staff and breakfast. No complaints from anyone. Had to get used to know coffee maker in the room. But good coffee available on demand in the first floor breakfast nook. On Wolf Road near major shopping, dining and movies. Ten minutes from UAlbany. Nicely done.

Based on the pictures of the rooms I picked a king suite. It was nothing like the picture. A bed and a sleeper couch were crammed in a small room. The sleeper was so uncomfortable (very old) I would have been better sleeping on the floor and the sheet on the couch was dirty and ragged. The outlet near the bed was sunk into the wall so I couldn’t charge my phone. I will never stay there again!!!!

Breakfast was good, staff very welcoming and the airport shuttle is convenient. The room was not as clean as it could have been and the facilities seemed a bit outdated. Normally this does not bother me, but considering the price per night, it did not seem on par.

We arrived late for check in and the person who checked us in seemed aggravated. Rushed through the process, told me the wrong time about breakfast and was overall unfriendly. Because of that we missed the breakfast. Room was ok, bathroom door had holes in it. Toilet and area around it are TINY. Plenty of parking available and close to all the stores.

My room was great! I had an extra room , looked like a living room with another tv . I’m a 300 lb bodybuilder and usually the beds aren’t very comfortable. This bed was perfect ! I enjoyed my breakfast as well . I was very happy .

We enjoyed our stay. We only booked for one night but book again. It met our needs, was very clean and overall a nice looking hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly. There was parking and close to dining and shopping.

I never write reviews, but I am forcing myself to do it this time and the reason for it is, that when I was booking the room to stay, looked at the pictures, and listened to recommendations. And recommendations were all about how CLEAN the hotel is. THAT WAS SO UNTRUE!!!! As you walk in, you’re hit with a terrible smell that continues all over the hotels, the upholstered furniture in the lobby is stained and dirty. As you go down the carpeted hallways there is garbage everywhere like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. Due to issues with the heating/cooling system, our room was changed 3 times. Each room was outdated, not vacuumed, had sticky floors in the bathroom and by the door. It looked like things were not wiped down in a long time, in many places handprints were so visible that I only hope was a result of eating food and touching things (not that that’s ok either). First rooms remote control was so filthy I didn’t want to even touch it. The upholstered chairs were stained and dirty, in the last room it was so disgusting and looked like it was someone’s bodily fluids all over it. The beds were made and we hadn’t touched them, so I can’t say anything about the cleanliness of that, I honestly didn’t want to touch anything. Tiled floors were sticky throughout. We ended up canceling our plans for the next day and head back home. I honestly don’t think they could have done anything at that point to make me at least somewhat comfortable to sleep there.

The included breakfast was better than expected. The bathtub and toilet was by itself while the sink was part of the room. There was not alot of room in the bathroom. Unfortunately in our room. The hook was missing on the bathroom door so there was nowhere to hang anything. The beds were little softer than I would have liked.

Staff not really concerned with an item I left behind. Was told to call back. Asked if they could make a note as it’s an obvious item that could have picked up on my way back home. Was told just to call back. When I did another employee took my number but never called back to follow up. Stayed at holiday inn all over and many many times. May not return.

Our check in was very pleasant and all employees I interacted with were very pleasant. The bed was surprisingly comfy but the room condition wasn’t great and seemed a little dingy. Also didn’t love that the sink was outside of the bathroom. We stayed in a room right off the elevator so it was a little noisy at times but overall quiet considering the location is in the middle of busy roadways. I used the gym which was very small but thankfully I was the only one in there so it got the job done. Overall a fine stay for a reasonable price.

The vents and especially the one in the gym had my noise levels off and even my mom it was her bday was coughing because it was so dusty. I could see it from the outside of the vents as well. The maids need to do little more cleaning up also we found key card above the closet for 2 days nobody grabbed it.

Our first room was not cleaned. Someone’s water bottle was in the fridge and the bedding had hair and dirt in it. The second room was better but still not great. The staff was not super helpful. I’m giving this a 2 only because my kids loved the small pool.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and in okay condition. Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet. Could not adjust the exercise bike so I could not ride it. The water filter for filtered drinking water was not working. The outlets in my room were loose and my charger would not work.

The bed was a bit too soft for us, we had a stiff back the next day. The room was very clean , reception was super friendly and helpful, water and peanuts were provided at check in for a snack and it was located less than 5 min walk to the mall across the street. Great stay.

I could tell by the smell of the comforters that they were not washed, just made as if it was. Woke up to someone yelling at 3am on the phone in the hallway about a DoorDash order not be delivered and using unacceptable language. Breakfast was good and free, parking is free so that was great.

It was a bit noisy from the other guests unfortunately so it was not peaceful. Noisy crying baby next door! People in the halls consistently going in and out of rooms talking loudly. The parking lot needs to be repaved also.

Staff was helpful and friendly, place was clean. The hotel is worn. Feels like it needs updating. There were buttons missing from the elevators, rugs and decor were older and faded. Hotel was conveniently across the street from the Colonie mall, could walk across but the hotel needs some love to bring it up to holiday inn express standards.

We spent three nights there for a family reunion. My uncle and aunt flew in with not enough winter clothes. It was great a shopping mall was right across the street that they could buy warm jackets right away. Breakfast was good with many varieties. My kids like the pancake machine.

The room was clean, and breakfast was sufficient. They have electric vehicle charging area conveniently located at the hotel. Staff were helpful. My only complaint is the indoor pool area smelled badly and the pool was green and needs to be treated. Needless to say, kids did not go in it.

Would recommend. Hotel was easy to find and convenient from the main Rd. Front desk staff were friendly at checkin/out, helpful with local information during. Room was clean but had a very small entry area. Just enough to barely fit the luggage trolley, but we made it work. I would advise putting a tracker on the trolleys they do have, or getting more , since it was only 4 for the whole place. We checked out around 10am and sat in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting for an available one to show up or go by. Nada. So we went upstairs and started taking things down in increments and half way thru happened to get one from someone rolling one back in. I think guests are keeping them in their room instead of returning right away. A trolley tracker would solve that issue. Highly recommend the Indian restaurant Maharaja two doors over. Entrance at back left of building. Food was delicious!

The floor to the bathroom had sticky stuff all over it and there was a leak coming from under the frig. when I wiped up the water and the bathroom floor the washcloth was black.

The area was amazing. It had two malls, lots of restuarants to choose from n better yet..Ihop is literally next door. If I’m going to back this hotel will be top choice. Only thing was that there was only 2 towels for a 4 people room.

It’s not often that you find a hotel that is reasonably priced that checks all the boxes. Easy, fast check in/check out process. Friendly front desk staff. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. (BEST PILLOWS EVER! ) GREAT breakfast; fresh, hot and plenty of options. Will definitely stay again!

The staff was very friendly and professional. Even the housekeeping staff greeted me. My room was very nice, quiet and comfortable. They offered breakfast in the morning and there was plenty of variety to eat. The hotel is only 2-3 miles from the airport and I believe they offered a shuttle service, but I didn't need that. I would definitely stay here again if the situation called for it.

Nice little hotel with a great location. Very convenient for traveling public as well as business people. Extremely nice staff made a check in a pleasant experience. Property is well maintained and room was very clean with nice furniture and all necessary appliances and consumables. Loved the indoor pool and fitness room with every kind of exercise equipment. Loved complimentary breakfast. Especially, i liked the fact, that there are like 10 restaurants in walkable distance for food lovers. All in all great experience and i definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

I have friends who live near here so I have stayed here manybtimes before the rooms ans service are always great. My room was clean just had an old smell to it but I always travel with plug in air freshener so it was fine

I enjoy staying at the motel when I visit family in the area. It’s close to all shopping areas and has a great breakfast and excellent coffee.

When we arrived in our room the second bed did not have clean sheets , it looked like someone had slept in the bed and it was remade. We asked for a new room and they just had someone come reclean the room. This should never happen.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay! It was such a safe and peaceful environment, truly a perfect escape. I especially enjoyed exploring the local dining scene—each meal was a delightful experience that added to my adventure!

The comforter on one of our beds had a very bad smell and brown stain on the underside at the head of the bed, we assumed that it was a fecal stain due to the smell. The hotel gave us a new comforter, but the damage was done. Very disappointed, I’ve never had an experience quite that gross.

The hotel needs some updating and the rooms need to be checked closer for cleanliness. The elevator key pad should be wiped down. Rey dirty. The ice machine on our floor was not working. I just feel that the hotel could be a lot nicer.

Good stay with friendly front desk staff. I chose this hotel as I needed to be close to the airport as I was flying out the next morning. It is a few miles away, but not a long way. The room was comfortable, good bed, clean, everything i wanted or needed including fridge, microwave, etc. It's a fairly good sized hotel too, bigger than I thought it would be. Shared a parking lot with an I Hop, I did not try the breakfast at the hotel because I basically never eat hotel breakfasts anymore. But I would stay here again.

This hotel gets the job done. It's close to the airport and the room is comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner, though. It definitely was not sanitized.

Someone stole from under our car and even though there was cameras pointed directly at our car, management said they couldn’t see anything. Makes me think one of their employees stole from us. Will never stay here again.

We won’t be back. The photos when we booked our reservation did not match the room we were given. Room was very small. (2 queen beds) The bathroom was about 5x5 just enough room for shower and toilet. The sink wasn’t even in the bathroom. Only one mirror in the whole room made it difficult for 4 people to get ready. Outdated doors, walls, trim made the place feel dirtier than it actually was - and it wasn’t great. Terrible smell as soon as you walk into the lobby. Hallway carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Gross. Walls paper thin could hear people going in and out of neighboring rooms all night long. Def will not be staying here again.

Quiet considering location

There was a group of extremely rude, noisy, obnoxious people staying at the hotel. They bombarded the pool area with 20 people and made the already swimming families very uncomfortable. They were pushy in the pool and knocked my daughters into the wall without a care. At 10pm they were running up and down the halls on the 3rd floor and into the stairwells while screaming. The matter was not addressed despite complaining to the front desk.
