The curtains to the windows facing outside need to be repaired or replaced. The cable sucked! Had to change rooms because the first room wasn't clean

It was dirty, things were broken, there were holes in the walls, broken doors and windows, and disconnected smoke detectors (code violations) and room reeked of smoke (non smoking room).

Buyer beware, it is not a 2 star, it is a minus 2 star. staff grumpy, the first room had holes in the floors and walls. second room marginally better. staff not helpful at all, and the pictures listed are "staged". and the coffee machine is broken and no breakfast as described. Save yourself time and don't stay here.

What can I say that wasn't already said in the previous survey-page. My stay was terrible!! PERIOD! This place absolutely sucks! The hotel is a dump! The TV didn't work! the guy they sent to fix it was a moron! (And he didn't know how to fix the TV!!) The guy at the front counter was the worst... This fat, ugly slob (dressed like a slob) was actually eating when he came out of some door. No greeting, no "Can I help you? Basically grunted at me when I said I had a reservation. But I guess when you're chewing food & trying to talk at the same time, that's what you get. He reminded me of the hotel desk clerk in "European Vacation" at the English hotel (same clothes, same attitude, same unshaven face...) What ever happened to the days when the desk help was dressed appropietly & was nice (and smiling) That's another thing.... this guy never smiled once... NOT ONCE!! The Knucklehead they sent to fix the TV (George was his name) looked like he just got out of prison (or was on the wrong side a bad bar fight) All in all, a most horrible night & a most horrible situation. I'll Never... let me repeat that, NEVER stay at a Motel-6 again. Goodbye & good luck with this horrible motel!

Upon checkout, the police were at the front desk asking the manager about some residents of the hotel and looking at security footage, confirming our suspicions of unsavory characters. Again, hotel staff was great. Conditions of property need major work and the characters residing there are conducting criminal activities. I would advise booking elsewhere in the area.

This room is ok!

The room was wonderful and the staff was kind, it could easily be passed by on the road, it's hard to see where the building entrance is

The only thing I have to say, I was able to hear the neighbor room TV early in the morning.

Room was clean quiet and easily accessible. There is a functional mall down the street and many food options for all price ranges. Mostly saw working class people in and out of rooms (construction, healthcare, etc). Didn’t hear traffic or others coming in and out. Parked my car right in front of my door. Only complaint is there were no light bulbs above the bathroom sink. Great stay for a good price.

Excellent location and too many insects in every room I book at this hotel! I have to come with my own cleaning supplies, but I don't mind…I mean Im paying for the room I might as well clean it to my standards too!

Only perk to our stay was that they were pet friendly. Grounds were covered in litter. Room was dirty & loud. Pics on Expedia are deceiving. Glad I was only there for a few hours! Never again. Blows my mind it’s even listed on Expedia.

The place is filthy. Front desk attendant is very rude.This place is filled with drug addicts. The remedy for everything is CHANGE UOUR ROOM. Broken refrigerators, broken tvs, and constant Police activity. You can't stay longer than 21 days. Residency issues and squatters.they dafinatly lie about amenities. DONT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!! I'm looking for a way to get refunded for a miserable stay.

It may have been in the midst of a slow redecoration process. There was a working TV with a remote that hung kinda high for its size, with a lot of wires hanging underneath. There was a small microwave and fridge, which I didn't use, but I know the fridge was working. The guy at the check-in counter was neither pleasant or unpleasant. He was just there. To be fair, he was probably tired, because he was still there when I checked out.

Very squeaky bed that hindered sleep, and quite loud from a large boulevard right next door. Really not the worst, you get what you pay for!

Expedia, by the way, has refused to reimburse us. I won’t work with Expedia or Motel 6 again.

Guess what folks! There are 2 types of toilet seats, one regular and the other elongated. Put the small size on a larger size bowl has you are partially out of kilter! And your flesh is on the cold porcelain!!!

It was a fine place to stay for a few weeks. Bedside reading lamps, deadbolt, and sink outside the bathroom. The wifi isn’t the greatest but I managed.

Housekeeping was very good. Always had enough towels and bedding.

Great place to stay on a budget. Bare bones rooms but they get the job done.

This was a week long trip, stayed here the first and last night. First night the employee at check in was rude. Different person the next time, was efficient but not friendly. First night I was on the second floor, the room below had a dog that barked throughout the night. Second night was quiet. Room was clean but furniture was not the best condition. Shower faucet leaked into the tub. Overall a 7 out of ten. I would recommend looking at other motels in the area.

There was nothing to like or unique about this location. The place from the pictures may look like it’s clean but it isn’t. There was hair on our beds, and we don’t have any long hair so I know it wasn’t mine or my sons. The floor was gritty and was filthy. My socks were completely black after one evening walking without slippers, Disgusting!!! The shelves by the sink was leaning to the right and the edging was pealing off and hanging. The shelf in the bathroom was hanging and about to fall. No exhaust for the bathrm, the towels are small, the sink was dirty, the TV ( ha what a joke)looks to be 22” better off without one. The refrigerator makes loud noise which kept me up so I went to talk to the front desk & they told me it’s old so it is what it is, the beds are horrible and I not gonna talk about the coffee in the Lobby or storage area when u first walk into the establishment, like who stores roof racks and large boxes by the coffee table & ice machine,( idk ) There was marker graffiti on the parking lot fence with a racis comment to the owners of the establishment. This was my 1st & last time ever staying at a motel 6, HQ should really look into this establishment and all for that matter and get them to get back to basics. Motels don’t have to be this bad.

Not safe... Don't like it at all

Confirmed online a nonsmoking room, and once I arrived, attendant Sia tried to put me in a smoking room and then wanted to charge me to move to a nonsmoking. I called the site that I made my reservation through and had them argue the point for them to honor the reservation. Bought and used Lysol, Fabrise and wet wipes to bear the smell and nastiness.

This hotel could be nice if it was cleaner. The shower curtain has not been changed in months. My son could not play his Xbox because the tv is not HDMI ready so the kids have nothing to do while they are here.

Every single piece of furniture in this room is broken or damaged in some way. Everything is dirty. The room smells like smoke. The metal walkway outside the room echoes like a submarine.

I had higher hopes based on the photos, but I was let down in reality. Rooms were rapidly cleaned right before arrival, surfaces were very wet when we arrived. Some surfaces were not wiped at all. The property condition was very poor overall.

Staff responsive to my needs

Might be the filthiest room I've ever stayed in at any hotel. The cobwebs on the ceiling were an unexpected touch, I've never seen that before.

No one should charge this price to stay at a place that looks like it’s never been cleaned.

Floors were filthy in the room. My socks were covered in dirt and grit. Had to wear shoes indoors the entire time. Bathroom was filthy as well.

Exactly what one would expect.

The sheets and pillows all had stains. The towels look like they had been washed but smelled bad. The walls had stains all over the place. There was a couple pieces of the wood from the flooring that were missing. The table and chair were sticky and had not been wiped down. The floor was absolutely filthy. The ice bucket still had liquid inside of it. The bathroom window did not have a lock on it and this room was on the first floor, not safe at all. The bathroom shower head and walls and bathtub all had stains. It was a smoking room That smelled bad but the odor was not from cigarettes, It was just a general old odors from the bed and sheets and everything else in the room that does not get cleaned. Don't plan on putting anything you actually want to eat in the refrigerator or using the microwave either.

Room wasnt cleaned prior to checking in to the room. Floods were dirty, bathroom dirty. Ice bucket had stuff stuck to the inside. Floor planks in front of beds were caving in, window in bathroom leaked. Overall you get what you pay for.

The fridge in my room did not work and there was mold in the bathroom window when brought up to front desk was told my stay was almost over

I found long black hair in the sheets. The room smelled like chemicals that I assume was from cleaning but not the smell you want when you are attempting to relax at the end of your day.

came to Albany on a business trip with my mother, staff was disrespectful to my mom. Paid $15 cash for an "early check in" since we arrived early. Staff wouldn't even let my mother get hot water to make tea. She was informed the next day that breakfast is from 7-10AM, we weren't even looking for breakfast, just to use their hot water! Next time we'll consider an airbnb instead!

The people were absolutely wonderful, I need to say that first. However literally everything else about these rooms this hotel is horrible! The black mold review is sadly true, they do not clean the rooms, I stayed with my cat and everywhere he went he was coverd in dirt and cobwebs. The walls literally had cob webs and 100% they do not mop or dust. The linens were clean however the bed is just a step up from sleeping on the floor and it took all 4 of their flat pillows to make one, and yes the other review about other guests is also true. People were fighting outside my room, no police, no manager no stopping it:( I was up easly past 2am :( I took the fastest shower of my life in a shower that was also filthy and could not get hot water, barely look warm. Im honestly not sure how the health department hasnt shut this place down or made them do better. This made me decide to never book a motel 6 again.

The customer service was awful... ignored me when checking in... on the phone the entire time of check in. Room was not comfortable, not enough pillows, no tissues, falling shower curtain... disgrace. I will never return.

Run down, shabby, out of date. Minimal upkeep. Poor insulation from room upstairs. Door bolt not functioning. But most basic needs met though on the high side.

Beds are worn and like sleeping on a gravel driveway. was no carpet and seal on door was worn and not sealing. i used to sleep in a back of a kia and that was like a 4 star hotel compared to this...also wheeling and dealing taking place so not a safe spot for taking the family

Definitely needs updating. A lot of wear and tear. Rusty mini fridge, outdated linings, flat pillows, painted bathroom door with a hole in the back bottom. Really needs a makeover.

The room was disappointing. The remote was so filthy I wouldn’t use it. Phone was dirty too. No fan in bathroom. Side tables, and headboards needed dusting. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable.

The reviews are right. Those who live at the property can be very loud as in full blown music at 5:15 am. Walls are paper thin. No housekeeping. It’s just an average stay at a motel 6. No frills. Just enough for a shower and not having to sleep in a car.

Okay price for an aged facility. Obviously not being well taken care of.

The room was in need of cleaning and initiallt smelled musty. Had spider webs on ceilings, walls and corners. The floor was stained in corners. The bath tub spigot dripped. You could see daylight on the side of the door. The mattress was very soft and pillows limp and thin. The chair extremely uncomfortable. The sink clogged. No shampoo of tissues provided. It did have a microwave and fridge. The desk clerk was pleasant and we were not charged for our dog, unless there would be damage done which none were.

The people at the front desk were very rude and confrontational. The area around the window in the bathroom was moldy

Stayed for a week i had no problems parked my rv and traveled with 2 friends and dog with a no worries. Would stay again with no problems
