The location was good, right across from the mall. However the hotel is between the on ramps to the 87so you just have to really pay attention when turning into the parking lot.The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean but really in need of cosmetic updates - painting and update the bathroom. Also there is no breakfast included as it states on the website. Coffee and tea were available though
- 5/5
Clean room staff was fair
- 3/5
Room and bathroom were clean but breakfast included is a joke, just 2 kind of cereals and milk, coffee was terrible. The hotel is near shops, highway, great location.
- 3/5
This was fine for a quick night stay after being on the Thruway for several hours. Small room, but adequate for just sleeping & showering. No real amenities available, but you’re very close to shops and other things in the area.
- 1/5
Do not live there, this is the advice given by the gentleman sitting outside the hotel, he kept reminding every guest about this. After my night staying here, I can’t agree more
- 2/5
We expected a bare bones room for the price however we did not expect holes in the wall where fixtures had been torn out, sagging water stained ceiling tiles or filthy floors. In their defense they appear to be making renovations but they should not use the rooms that are still in such poor condition.
- 2/5
Cons: dirty, room looked like it was someone’s office, everything is old except the carpet, breakfast was a joke coffee and that is it! Won’t stay here again!!!

After paying at the desk we get some stuff to go to the bed room. Once inside we take high cigarette odour. At this time I start having an allergic reaction. We left the room and on our way back to the reception we found a girl smoking weed on the balcony. Arrived at the reception we ask for reimbursement. The women at the reception tell us she cannot proceed and ask us to come back at 8:00 PM to see her manager. We call at 8 to say we cannot come at this time and will be present tomorrow morning. Tomorrow before leaving Albany we pass by the place and another women tell us to come at 8:00 PM again to see her manager. In final we never had our reimbursement.

Rude manager. Disrespectful and immature.
- 1/5
Horrible smell and steamy room
- 2/5
The room when we entered, it seems fine, but we discovered that the mini refrigerator did not work, and when I complained that the Desk, he said it would take time to cool down. He wasn’t particularly concerned. It never did get cold. The next morning, when we went to take a shower, the hot water was not working all we could get out of the tap was cold water When I mentioned this at the desk, he said nobody had complained before. According to the website, we were supposed to get a continental breakfast. There was really nothing at all to eat. I would advise anybody to think twice before staying at this property.
- 2/5
Room I stayed in was rundown. Walls were dirty and chipped needs painting. Curtains didn't close to block out view from outside since it was the first floor in front of the stairs. Toilet leaked when you flushed. TV did not turn on.

They first had me pay a deposit then they tried to put me in a room that had black mold and then when I checked out they still have not give me my deposit back
- 2.5/5
Quiet in a back room farthest from the road. Room smelled like smoke the first night. Following nights, staff had sprayed an air freshener.

The first room assignment was to a second floor room in which the heat was not working. The front desk clerk and the manager who was hanging around. Put me into a room behind the office in which the heat was working. The following morning, I went back twice to try to get orange juice in the breakfast room. The second time I checked and turned away, the manager asked me to give him a written review. I just turned away and left the property. because he said "Maybe next time you stay here." I was not looking for breakfast - just a glass of orange juice. He said they were out of orange juice.

This place is so disgustingly dirty I think there must be health code violations. I shared my experience with Expedia including photos of bugs on a wall, bugs killed with shoes on the ceiling and never removed, mold in the shower, used soap left from the previous client in the shower with some hair on the wall (meaning it wasn’t cleaned), a lampshade that looked like someone spilled an entire cup of coffee or maybe tomato sauce on it, a major hole in the wall covered by wood, flooring not adequately repaired, a corner of the room that has never been cleaned in the room’s existence, a stained towel, hair on 2 of 3 pillows before I touched the bed, 4 mismatched and burnt out bulbs in the bathroom, peeling paint on the wall, holes in the wall, damp stains on the ceiling, a phone from 1976 that is stained with grime and has never been wiped down, etc. Yes I bothered to type this out to save you the trouble. I was so uncomfortable I hardly slept but it was too late for me to change motels as I was exhausted and there was a storm outside. Literally the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in in my life. I will say all the staff was kind, this is not a staff issue, the building is just decrepit and will remain so without gutting the units. The water pressure & temperature of the shower was good. I was supposed to do several hours of work before I checked out but even the chair was stained and I could not bring myself to sit on it. I checked out early to get out of the filth.

We arrived in the evening. The first room wouldnot open with the key...even the night clerk could not open it. She moved us to another room and came in and saw the sink was blocked and full of dirty water. She moved us to a 3rd room. We were exhausted by then and went to sleep. In the morning we vould not shower thrre was no hot water. The morning clerk had us go to another room to shower. Here we were in our 70's running around wet in the cold morning . No apologies...no refund...nothing at all. Please do not stay here. It is dirty..uncomfortable and falling down.

The room was surprisingly small and overall somewhat worn. They didn’t offer a breakfast as advertised and blamed not doing so on the snowstorm that stranded us there. But, the storm didn’t start until around 6:00 PM and had been forecast much earlier; it felt like either a neglectful lack of planning or an excuse.
- 5/5
Very clean room

My room was moved when I got back to the hotel to a smaller room with out the kitchen I jus came from the store to cook and now I have no stove

Friendly and kind staff and comfy beds and clean rooms
- 1/5
Staff was not friendly at check-in. Cold, snowy night and the heat had not been turned on in the room. Half of the number in the door was broken off. Clearly some construction is happening with waste and rolls of old carpet in the parking lot. The room was ok with a mini fridge and microwave. but the bathroom was a mess. Cracked floor tiles, the flush handle was not connected to the toilet, no ceiling fan and the towels were dingy. The shower was nice and hot. There was one other car in the parking lot so it seems like a nicer room could have been provided. Cold, stale coffee in the morning was the icing on the cake. No breakfast due to “Covid pandemic”. I guess you get what you pay for.

I made a mistake of booking in Albany New York. It was supposed to be Brooklyn Albany ave. I ended up not going to New York. May I please get a refund.
- 1/5
In my opinion Unsafe.I was given the only room at the end of an outside "hallway" dead end, nearest other room, 50-60 ft away with a half wall and tools across from me where someone could hide, a doorway to the dark overgrown empty field 10 ft. away, and no way out if someone is in the walkway. The 20-something guy checking me in asked if I was alone. Y? So he doesnt have to give me 2 keys? maybe not. He and the 4-5 other guys all started speaking a foreign language after I answered. Yes I was dumb enuf to say yes) He watched me go to my car to get my bags.Y? Next night a guy in front of the office was watching me when I got out of the car. I went around the front, farthest away from him, had to walk at least 60ft to my room. He had to have run to intercept me. Literally almost ran into me coming out of the blind covered doorway that goes to the outdoor office walkway. Says "Hello Lady" It was Intentional. (He went back the way he came after I was in my room) I just got by him and trapped in that dead end. A woman was in the front desk.not him. In the pics,The lights are my room, window U see is empty. not a room. doorway to empty field. For the first time ever I felt set up and in danger. FIRST TIME EVER I left and checked into another hotel. The reviews on this place were ok. I read a ton. Also, electric connectors exposed, room shabby, the bed was ok. A single woman should never stay here. I am never afraid. Travel alone constantly. Rethinking that now.
- 4/5
The room was clean and well maintained.
- 1/5
The room (we tried three of them) had black mold in the bathroom and ants. The first room had rodent droppings. There was no breakfast or coffee available. The manager was banging on our door at 9:50am to tell us we had to leave. We are not picky people, and have had very positive stays at other Super 8s; will not stay here again.
- 5/5
It was spotless & smelt good
- 3/5

closet sized bathroom, fridge didn't work, heater didn't work. All out of rooms to assigned another.

- the main light was not working - there was NO water tap in the bath - the water tap in the sink was literally dancing around (not fixed) - there were bugs in the bath and also in the bed - towels were smelly and filled with human hair - there were brown stains everywhere in the bathroom It was just horrible experience. Never again!
- 3/5
Other than coffee, no other breakfast item was offered, not even 2 slides of bread. 🙁🙁☹️

But the room was comfortable,
- 1/5
The jacuzzi took two hours to fill up (water pressure so low). The knob you turn to release drain the jacuzzi was molded. There was no breakfast only coffee and creamer in short supply. The staff doesn’t know how to issue the refund for the $100 deposit. I checked out on a Sunday and the charge is the on my credit card and today is Thursday. Mind you I paid $298 for this room.
- 5/5
i love this place
- 2/5
I was very disappointed with the room. The bed was comfortable ; however there were other issues ie there was only 1 hanger, when I asked for another one, the hook was too small to fit over the rod. There was no hair dryer in room, had to go back and ask for one. The knob to turn on the faucet in the sink fell off when I tried to get water. The desk agent said..” oh, sorry” but did not offer to fix it. The TV would not turn on. At that point I didn’t want to walk across in the rain again so did not report it. The floor in the bathroom was dirty, lots of dust and dirt along the baseboard and in the corners. The caulking around the tub and wall was cracked and open. This room needs a lot of attention. I will not book at this location again.
- 4/5
all good

The room was very small. Room needs to be upgraded. Very dirty. Roach infested. The bath sink was backed up. The tub was stained. Carpets were filthy. . Toilet was dirty. Had a weird smell in the room. Didnt stay both nights that i bookeddue to poor conditions a d roaches in room.

Booked this room because Hotels.com claimed they were pet friendly. Tried verifying on their website but they had ZERO information on pet policy, so we just trusted Hotels.com. We were about two hours out from arrival when they called and asked if I was still coming. I said yes, but they said I never paid. I told them my card was declined for security reasons, but I updated the card information so they can run it again. They kept repeating in a thick Indian accent that was hard to understand that I didn't pay. I confirmed I was showing up and explained I do not know why Hotels.com didn't run the payment again, and that maybe that's a Hotels.com issue. It was like talking to a wall. We showed up and paid, but later were told they never charged us for pet fees, so I paid for that. The next day, I was told they only charged me once and not for the full stay for pet fees, and they also don't accept cats, but I had already stayed the night. They let the cat issue slide, thankfully. Separately, the towel rack in the bathroom was halfway out the wall and about to fall off the entire stay, but I told them it's not an emergency, so no need to come during our stay. Zero housekeeping the entire time, so our garbage piled up and no one came to pick up trash when we left it outside of our room because so much trash was piling up in the trash cans in the room. Bed and pillows were decent. Very spacious room, although strange shape/layout. Not a great experience, but not bad either.
- 2/5
Room was loud (bathroom curtains torn and towels torn. Reservation Included bfst and that was an understatement! Food area was poorly stocked to say the least and totally unappetizing! I complained to manager and nothing was done. I was stuck there because it could not get another room somewhere nearby and they charged me with no effort to remedy.

Property was severely embellished in their ad. They tried to give us a room that smelled like an ashtray finally ended up with a reasonably clean room that had the smallest queen size bed i have ever seen

It is closer to Western and Central avenue

Okay for one night.
- 5/5
Clean quiet bus shopping people was nice
- 1/5
It’s Really dirty & noisy
- 3/5
The room was big and clean. The place is in front of the mall. Breakfast is almost non existant. I had to call and ask them about breakfast because there was nothing at 7am. They said it was going to be at 7.30 but only put 3 pieces lf bread and cold coffee.
- 2/5
Desk clerk was unfriendly
- 4/5
Good was terrible. You should advertise breakfast and give almost zero. Not even Apple Juice.
- 2/5
Only outside entrances, property wedged next to highway exchange, first room dirty and smelled like smoke so the staff moved me to a better room but I was still uncomfortable and decided not to stay overnight at that hotel.
- 2/5
The rooms could use some repairs and new paint. The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny. It was a bit rundown. The hotel is located by three very busy streets. It's a very loud area. I wore ear plugs and put on some white noise. The curtains didn't cover the entire window so it felt like we didn't have the needed privacy you should have in a hotel. I know this is an economy hotel, but it was close to $200 a night, Not a good value at all. Apparently it's racing season so the rooms in the Albany area were higher everywhere. If we had paid only $80 for this room I would not have minded so much, but it felt like we were gouged.
- 2/5
Horrible breakfast. A slice of bread, two bagels, 5 mini donuts and moldy cream cheese. Such garbage, also couldn't even take the bagel that I did have back to the room. Give me a break, I'm not a child.
- 5/5
Pillows were hard as rocks, though
- 1/5
Poor cleaniness
- 3/5
Every time I stay here, I have a different experience. This was the third distinct room I've experienced. I think we got a free upgrade, from a queen to a king. What we got was a time capsule. The left side was reasonable. An old suite. Clean and appealing. The right side... where the old, unusable jacuzzi remains and a bathroom that, unlike all the other rooms I've stayed in there, needs serious renovations. Again, all other rooms have renovated bathrooms. Even the handle of the water in the shower came off. A different experience. This will be a great room should it ever be renovated.
- 4/5
high priced for what is offered. I've stayed here before at lower prices that are a better match for the tight, cramped room you get. Need for renovations is starting to emerge after renovations that occurred a few years back. Still, if for a couple of hours' sleep or a layover from a long night, it serves a great purpose. Easy to sleep at. Most rooms are recommended for one person.
- 2/5
The staff was nice upon check in and very helpful. But there were people hanging out and smoking outside the place. The room wasn’t really clean. The bathroom was dirty and dusty. The tub and towels had hair. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom either. One of the lamps in the room didn’t work. There were holes and stains on the walls.
- 2/5
The hotel put us in a room the size of a closet
- 1/5
It was close to where i needed to conduct business
- 3/5
I mean it’s Albany didn’t have high expectations for it but did out due them
- 2/5
Advertising breakfast, coffee and a toaster, 4 slices of white bread and 2 English muffins. Guess you could call that breakfast.
- 2/5
We won't be staying here or any other Super 8 again.
- 1/5
Checking in was very difficult. My card couldn’t be used due to an authorization issue. I had to go find an ATM because the one at the property doesn’t work. There was a suspicious pair of men in the parking lot that I was told aren’t even staying on the property. The room is dirty. The linen is dirty and the locks are loose.
- 5/5
Property and room was clean bed was comfortable
- 1/5
This hotel was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The room we were given was literally the size of a bathroom and a filthy bathroom would be considered clean compared to this room. There were ants all over the room, the curtains were shredded and ripped, none of the outlets worked, the toilet seat was broken and my wife ended up sitting on it and falling hurting her back and head. It advertised that they offered a continental breakfast and the only thing offered was still cereal with no milk and forks that were offered to be used instead of spoons. The coffee that they had was ice cold there were no creamers or any type of sweetener offered. We complained to the manager and asked for a different room and we're told that if we didn't like the room to leave. Absolutely a hotel from hell. Worst of all the manager took it upon himself to charge my credit card assuming that we were going to stay a second night and charged my debit card at 8:00 a.m. so when we went to check out I was told that he thought we were staying and my card had already been charged. We wanted to file a incident report after my wife fell due to the broken seat and hurt her back and hit her head and the manager refused to file a report and we had to call the police in order for them to force him to file a incident report. No one should ever stay at this hotel.
- 4/5
Not clean on outside of bldg. Good for 1 or 2 nights
- 3/5
This hotel advertises and is booked via hotels.com as "with breakfast" that's a lie...there is no breakfast in this hotel.....
- 2/5
Sheets were dirty
- 3/5
The room was beautiful, I would go back. The issues were, We were in the King suite and the air conditioning was not working, they advertised coffee in room and breakfast included. There was no coffee pot in the room and no breakfast in lobby. For a suite with a kitchen they did not have the utensils to cook or clean up supplies. The place is a diamond in the rough!!!
- 3/5
Good place to stay in general
- 2/5
Our room needed to be updated and had a musty smell.
- 1/5
Room was dirty door lock didnt work, phone didnt work, slip pads on stairs loose, no breakfadt, horrible coffee. Service was sibpar at best
- 3/5
Had to loop around many times and even ended up on I-87 north just before seeing the entry way to the small front lobby entrance. Should have a small sign to direct us to entry. Google map does not provide this info. No breakfast was served even thought advertised so on this website. Not even coffee.!! Pillow are Euro style and not comfy. Bathroom is very small. However the standard air con/heater you see was very quiet
- 4/5
Good stay
- 4/5
It was convenient and inexpensive, but no one cleaned the room in the two nights I was there.
- 2/5
Small rooms, one tucked away in a corner with a "view" of a cement wall. Walls in both rooms need repairs and paint. Roles of carpeting blocking the sidewalks do suggest that improvements are on the way. Parking lots on either side of the motel are not connected, and the motel is hemmed in by the highway and its entrance, making access a bit difficult. Coffee and tea available in the lobby, but no continental breakfast, although this is promised on the website. On the other hand, the location is good, with many food and other shopping options nearby, and desk staff did their best to be helpful.
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Not recommended. The price changed at the last minute and no breakfast.
- 1/5
No breakfast no clean towel toilet do not flush i had To put water from boket To flush no pump
- 3/5
The staff was nice. But the room had crayon drawing on the wall and there was a big hole in the wall. The washcloths and towel were discolored.
- 1/5
Rude staff
- 3/5
This is a hotel that hasn’t updated since the late 80’s. No phone chargers, Ice machine doesn’t work. Even TV difficult to work. Bed seems OK.
- 1/5
Took ten minutes to check in because the first desk agent had no idea what she was doing. Fell on ice in the parking lot because they were too lazy to salt. No hot water in the shower/tub. Took the two desk agents forty minutes to agree to move me to a different room. New room had hot water but no stopper in the tub and mold in the shower area. Checkout took twenty minutes because the new agent, possible owner, was rude and had no interest in hearing about the water and ice issues. It’s no surprise that nobody stays here. Hall carpets aren’t just frayed, they are straight out ripped and mangled. The ceiling panels in the common areas are either water stained or missing all together. The place is just a dump.
- 1/5
The first room they put us in had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and socks in the bathroom that was room number 45 then they moved me to room 47 and I had to go to the office because there was no hair dryer they gave me one then they said there is Internet and when you click on it it says security rick and then they never checked the other room and rented it out plus the towels and wash clothes were dirty and dingy and couldn't even get a roll of toilet paper had to buy a roll the curtains on the windows are ripped the vent in the bathroom don't work I tried to cancel my reservation and leave and was told no refund the site said free breakfast and there was nothing
- 1/5
I would have definitely requested a refund due to the advertisement displaying a room that was not what I paid for. The TV had maybe 3 channels?, the bathroom was smaller than a closet, the towels were dirty and soiled, and the bed had a comforter the was filthy, and unwashed. The only reason I did not make a issue was only because I knew that I would not have received a refund due to your site making it a requirement to accept that you will not be refunded unless you purchase a form of insurance?..FAILED! One happy customer
- 1/5
There were dirty towels, washclothed, and my bed spread had long hairs (i'm balled) an stains.
- 3/5
There should also be a doormat just inside the room because you are step in directly from outside and will get the floors a little mucky during the certain weather.
- 1/5
Worst place ever, i had to show my ID to get more towels and the clerk was very rude and disrespectful. The toilet leaked, the towels were stained. The place is a dump. You couldn't pay me to stay there ever again.
- 4/5
Nice easy and relaxing
- 1/5
The hotel is in disrepair. The rooms are musty, the floor is sticky, the toilet bowl was broken, the curtains are dusty, and the breakfast consist of bread, bagels, cream cheese, and jam. No plates though, not even paper plates (had to use paper bowls). The stairs to the upper floor are too steep/unsafe.
- 4/5
As always, a decent place to sleep. Room was small but enough for one person. I didn't leave money behind this time to end up missing, so that was good. Clean shower though water was, what did Kramer say, "invigorating." I turned the heat up in the room to warm up. I'll stay again. Too convenient for the purpose... a place to sleep for a few hours and shower before going again.
- 4/5
Very close to shopping opportunity on Wolf RD and Colonie Center mall. This includes a Whole Foods and Macys
- 4/5
The location was perfect near the expressway entrance. There are many food choices and grocery stores nearby. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I would stay there again if I’m visiting Albany.
- 5/5
Very comfortable room, the staff was helpful but the entrance could only be accessed one way
- 5/5
Solid spot for the price. Did find a few ants in the bathroom the one norning though. Other than that no complaints
- 4/5
It was fine overall. My son and I had to be in Albany for a day so this hotel worked out. The room was clean. The tub and shower were brand new. The rest of the room seemed dated but since it was very clean, there were no issues with the room. A breakfast was included with the price of the room. If you are looking for an average or above breakfast, this is not it. There was very little available to eat. Amongst the precious few items available, there was a single bagel - it was moldy. To his credit, I informed the gentleman at the desk who immediately came over and discarded it, apologizing profusely. I would probably choose a different hotel next time.
- 2/5
Pretty rundown

Worst stay ever. SUper dirty, room hadn't been cleaned, poop stains on bathroom ceiling, towels had goopy spots on them, card swiper didn't work so someone had to let us in with a hand key every time we needed to get in to our room, thermostat didn't work and the room was cold, breakfast was disgusting with rotten food, the staff would not amend our reservation even though it could've been done easily, sketchy af part of town, lots of road noise, and every time we complained they said they would fix things but never did. Holy f was it bad. Steer clear!

I am very disappointed with the service .i booked a single room with double bed . The room sinks , smell like weed , I only wanted the room for a nap .its was not a long stay since i was attending a party . But unfortunately the short stay was horrible. The towel in the bathroom smell so bad . We couldn’t breathe properly, at one point I want to call 911 or the cop .it was like a getto you going to . I highly do not recommend any one to stay there .

Paid the extra for the motel because they offered breakfast absolutely disappointed 😞 the gentleman at 7 am didnt have anything out and when we asked about it he got all huffy and put out 2 bagels 2 pieces of bread a half gallon of milk and some cereal. Not worth paying the extra for it. Room was clean hot water thats about it

This place was nasty, stains on pillows and on sheets. I even seen blood on the sheets. Went to get extra towels I was told I had to bring them the dirty ones first to get more. Place was just nasty I would never stay here again.

Unbelievable poor and disgusting

Horrible conditions. Even the smoking room is the paints peeling off the ceilings. The caulking is falling off around the bathtub. Disgusting.

I would never recommend this place- charged me$100 - said my son was smoking in the room- lies. He was outside next to filthy mattress lying on the grass. The room reeked of that purple Fabuloso that they use, which is not a disinfectant. And when they found hair on the sheets and pillows, my sons were disgusted. The nerve to charge me an extra $100

The room was clean but the entire facility was dirty.

I did not enjoy the room

Bad smiles and tinny room space

I would never stay here again…Absolutely filthy. This was probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Dirty sheets with holes in them. Room was in really bad condition overall. I debated sleeping in my car and eating the loss.

Amazing stay, manager always goes out of his way to make sure we are comfortable and happy with our stay. Gary always makes sure we are good. Will recommend to friends who are looking for somewhere affordable, comfortable, and close to the mall.

the staff were very friendly and the area was fine, but the hotel rooms were in very poor shape. The first room was non-smoking, but had a horribly stained carpet, a wad of hair on the pillow, and smelled awful. It was very late so rather than leaving I asked for a different room. No carpet, better smell, but broken bathroom door handle, broken sink handle, gouged paint on the walls, filthy phone, dirt and hair on the baseboards in the bathroom, and about a 3/4 inch gap in the shower where the caulk didn't cover that just let water run behind the shower wall and the tub. The neighborhood seemed fine, if it wasn't I would have also been concerned by the lack of interior door chain or strap.

Holes in sheets, stains in towels, bathtub was dirty and clogged, floor were not swept, dust everywhere, weird stains in the furniture…this place is terrible, dirty and disgusting. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The room was unacceptable. Something had been thrown against the wall and the stain and evidence of liquid running down the wall was still clearly there; the pillowcases and sheets looked as if they were not changed from the last guest; there was used underwear hanging on the bathroom door; when we complained to the front desk they moved us to a room next to barking dogs. We will not be staying here again and we will be sure to let anyone we speak to know what we experienced.

This place needs to be condemned. Not fit for animals much less humans.

This was by far the biggest disappointment I’ve had renting a hotel room in recent years, over $200 for a “suite” with a jacuzzi tub which was dirty, horribly dated, there were roaches in the room and the jacuzzi would have taken three hours to fill with how little water came out of the faucet. The parking lot is a pain to get in and out of. Stay away from this place at all cost u less you’re a crackhead

Glad we didn't have time to look at reviews before we booked this at the last minute because we needed a break after many hours of driving. It was fine for us for just one night and convenient off the highway. Breakfast was very sparse. Would be better to not advertise breakfast than offer something meager and unappealing. Also, please vacuum behind the nightstand occasionally.

When we arrived the parking lot had a bit of trash

The bedding, pillowcase, towels and seating chairs were dirty and smelly. The remote was missing and it was poor ventilation. I would be embarrassed to recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay was terrible. I got in the room late, tried to turn the lights on. Nothing. There was a terrible ceiling leak in the bathroom, which left the bathroom floor drenched. I went to heat food up in the microwave, and the door was hanging by 1 hinge.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to UAlbany and price. Before booking, I only looked at the most recent reviews (all pretty good) and did not bother looking too far back. I did not know exactly what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Everything I saw (the lobby, breakfast area, and the room) was clean and the staff were all very friendly. The only thing that could possibly have been better is the breakfast. While I enjoyed the coffee and English muffin (and my daughter enjoyed her bowl of cereal), there was literally nothing else to choose from and no beverages aside from coffee/tea (no juice). We were happy with that, but I am sure others would expect more.

Good stay

Rooms VERY TINY and smelled bad. The floors were dirty. Turned my white socks black. Definitely better options in the area for the price.

I found human blood on my mattress covered by towel. There was blood in the bathroom threshold, wall and sink. Also random stains all over the walls by the bed like someone splashed a drink or just more dried blood. If you value your health don’t ever go there !!! Actual crime scene

My room had a mild odor other than that everything else was good.

The hotel is well located, the room goes for a fair price, and the staff was friendly,

Nice and helpful staff. Dirty , noisy room with plastic foil on the mattress, dirty bathroom and a used syringe under the bathroom sink on the floor. I would never book Super 8 hotel again.

Good place for an affordable overnight quick stay

Horrible stay and the dirtiest motel I've stayed in. Smelled like urine and cigarettes very strongly. Nothing was clean, stains all over the sheets and floor, large amounts of mold making it hard to breathe. The staff was friendly but very unhelpful regarding a refund (we asked for one right after walking into our room). Do yourself a favor and please stay elsewhere.

There were cigarette holes in the sheets and it is super noisy
