The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. Had no problems sleeping very well each night. Would recommend.

The property and rooms were not the same as on their web site. They were very run down. The curtains on the windows were filthy and ripped. The windows were filthy and the heating mechanism wax held together by tape.

The place is full of vargants and I had 2 doordash orders stolen before I gave up. The room itself was fine and the fridge was decent. The microwave was interesting as it has an unlock button you have to press before the door will open. I was using it in the middle of the night and it was dark so I didn't see it until I turned on the light. Just something to be aware of. Otherwise it was OK.

We stayed one night for graduation ceremonies. The furniture and bathroom sink were new but the condition of the room was sad. The paint job in the room and bathroom was messy. The light switches had layers of paint and were dirty. There were too many furniture items in the room and made it difficult to get around the bed. The bed was terrible, very uncomfortable, hard. The pillows were small and only 1 pillow had a white pillow case, the other 2 had shams. The exterior of the building really made me question if this was a safe building. The were pieces of metal and building materials scattered on the walk way and parking lot. This building could really use a face-lift. The room smelled "clean" like bleach. The towels were thin and small. We only stayed 1 night, but I wish I had booked a different hotel.

Good stay for parents weekend at Buffalo. Close to campus. Nothing fancy but comfortable.

The room smelled like smoke. When I was reassigned to a different room, that room also smelled like smoke. The new room also had a toilet that was very difficult to work with, and the shampoo dispenser was empty. The floor also had a lot of sand on it, so it was hard to walk around without socks on (e.g., after a shower). The grounds of the motel were also very noisy the entire time of my 2-day stay. I am removing this motel from my list of economy motels to consider staying at next time I come to the Buffalo area.

I didn’t stay after I see dirty on sink and bathroom I check out immediately and wanted to refund and they need to renovation the hotel better

The floor was so dirty it turned my socks black. The bathtub was dirty. There were no cups in the room, and no hangers for clothing. The towel bar was missing, and the bathroom door looked like someone had tried to kick their waythroigh it. It snowed while we were there, and very little salting of the pavement was done. I was awakened one morning by pounding on my door. I was told to love my car because they were repaving. There is no reason why they could not have put a sign out or blocked the area with cones the night before so that no one would park there. I did not appreciate being awake Ed like that.

We arrived at 340pm. He made us stand in the lobby for 40 minutes before finally giving us our room number. Just for us to be told once he gave it to us it will be a few more minutes. We finally got in room, started to unpack before my girlfriend discovered the tub was full of dirty water, dirty towels and used soaps out. I went and said someone to front desk about cleaning the room for us and he cancelled our stay. Completely uncalled for. Horrible experience!!! He made Red Roof and your app look bad(and I normally love your app). Had to rush trying to find another room and just barely got a room and got to our show on time. Cost me a lot more for the room we found cause last minute. Though I will continue to use your app, still a very bad experience.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE

The “hotel” was desolate, run down, dilapidated and scary. Kids running amuck unsupervised, entire windows missing from some rooms and others had people hanging out the windows smoking. Police showed up while we were checking in, someone had called 911. Then gave us a “room” right next to the rowdy kids when it appeared to be mainly empty except some people living there. Didn’t even stay just drive away and got a room at a better place. Do not recommend at all. Waste of my money and time. Awful

Very simple motel near the University at Buffalo. Room was average, but generally clean. I would stay here again compared to comparable motels in the vicinity of this motel. The area seemed safe.

Dirty not cleaned. No toilet paper. Locks didn't work, light bulbs out, trash from nextdoor rooms scattered all over upstairs walkway including blankets and sheets. Nasty place waste of $126 shoulda never booked online

The housekeeping practices were unacceptable. I witnessed the housekeeping cart tip over into brown dirt outside. Instead of discarding the towels, the staff simply shook them off and continued using them in guest rooms. When I returned to my room later, my “clean” towel was brown from the dirt. Completely unsanitary. The front desk attendant showed no interest in being attentive or helpful. It was clear he was just going through the motions of a job he didn’t want. To make matters worse, at night he joined a group of friends hanging out in front of the motel, laughing loudly and taunting residents. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.

This is a hotel that houses those who are unhoused. It should not even be on the Expedia website. It’s completely misleading. If corporate reads this, you really should take it off as an option for Expedia. We drove around the property in disbelief and left. I canceled immediately.We were fortunate enough to find another hotel that night, but highly inconvenient for us. From now on when I see a two start rating I’ll believe it. I had no idea what to expect on this one, I thought maybe a little bit older in the building but not what it is in reality.

Biggest complaint is that the pictures on line of hotel don't match the reality. Once we arrived we chose not to stay. Very kind owner but not the place for us.

It's an old hotel, updated. The disturbing part was cleanliness. I walked barefoot on the floors and the bottoms of my feet were black with dirt.

The only positives were the beds and pillows. Heard every flush and water running from other rooms. Main issue was no ice available and could not get cold water. Other guests were extremely loud. I will not return.

The website of this establishment featured impressive photographs, but it is likely that these images were taken several years ago. The condition of each room was appalling, revealing a state of disarray and neglect. The health department should investigate this matter and potentially initiate the closure of the establishment. The owners’ explanation, that their new cleaners were absent due to inclement weather, is insufficient to justify the extensive filth and grime found within the premises.

This was a waste of my money and time now think at it I wish I had payed a little extra for the Marriott hotel Nextdoor instead maybe they would have had better hospitality. Just know Red Rood Inn I will never be booking a room anywhere with your franchises name. You should feel embarrassed for your guys poor performance.

My son and I went to check in and I noticed that the whole place was in disarray. There were windows broken and boarded up. We checked in they walked us to the room.we went in , I see that the beds were broke, and there were dirty diapers on the floor, I refuse to stay there and asked for a refund. They said that they would. That emailed a receipt of zero charge to my card. And I had to find another hotel . This was absolutely the worst experience and am very disappointed .

Now I would prefer a prison cell over a room. We asked for a extra pillow at the desk. They claimed they don't have any. Our room was beside a unit that was condemned (one of multiple on the property). There was no office chair at the desk. No second single chair in the room. No washcloths, a broken microwave and we had to go back to the desk to get a roll of toilet paper. Which we were met with indignation about as well! There is no PLUS at this location. The owners should be forced to stay in it for a week (assuming the don't catch a biohazard) exposure. A complete unprofessional joke!

I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen bed then I got 1 room with king bed and the bathroom was very bad so horrible, water was coming out from under the toilet, the bathtub was stained and rusty. Arrived late at night and had no choice, I needed to sleep. I couldn't shower because I was so disgusted.That was not the room that appears when I booked online.

They were able to accommodate an early check-in which was much appreciated. The room smelled funny so I picked up an air freshener and we were good.

Had to change rooms twice and still it was barely tolerable. It’s in now way worth the price and no way would I stay again. They really should be refunding me. First room/night no sleep with constantly running toilet and room was icky. Second room was better but AC wasn’t working right and toilet running again. Switched to third room and was awakened by screams of terror! Still don’t know if it was human or animal. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had! The photos online, while not setting expectations high, are still very inaccurate. Room furniture is beat, missing, or not functional. Staff tried but it just wasn’t enough.

Room key didn’t work, got another room, no remote control (tv satellite not working), then had to ask for toilet paper. Woken at 3 am by a screaming woman. Our son ended up staying with his brother at his house instead of in hotel room.

Room was freshly painted, but truly needed cleaning. Dirt and grime in corners. Painters could have at least cleaned splatters on counter/furniture. No maid service. Wonder where my $100+ per night goes. Charge, of course, for smoking in your room, but the lobby REEKED of smoke. Stayed here out of lack of options as we're here on business, but will try to find someplace else in future.

The only thing clean in the room was the bed. It was dusty, the little table and the floor were dirty. There wasn't any toilet paper, we had to go ask for some. We left for the day on our second day and the room was not serviced while we were gone. Atleast there wasn't any bed bugs.

Once I arrived the man at the desk tried to run my card again and charge for the nights stay. When I disagreed he called someone and went into another language other than English. The phone call took a very long time and all I could understand was my name in that exchange over the Phone. I received a hotel key card and when I went j to be room it had no way to turn in the T.V. . I left the room and asked for a remote control for the T.V. I tried to get back in my room but they kept card didn’t work because the battery in the door was dead and needed to be changed. They told me it would take a few minutes several times, after 30 minutes I was able to get back into my room at 11:00 p.m. The curtains were broken so privacy was an issue and early morning light was annoying. I took a shower but even with the drain open I stood in a pool of soapy dirty water. No refrigerator in room, no remote at first, key card didn’t work, tried to charge me again, broken curtains. Will never stay there again and I advise people to never stay there ever.

Wet carpet, smelled of mold, not cleaned from last stay, walls and shower in disrepair. Fixtures rusted, curtains had holes in them, bed was just uncomfortable. Shower was so dirty and had water damage on the wall above it. Quite literally the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Locals later told me this part of town is where they house migrants and homeless. Makes sense looking back. The owner refused a refund initially but gave only half after pushback. Really just a terrible experience overall. There’s better out there. Skip this place.

Room not cleaned, no toilet paper, no towels, front desk rufe. Called expedia to try to fix issue and front desk lied to them saying they would send housekeeping when they told me they don't provide housekeeping. Room is disgusting, hotel is essentially a construction zone with hazards in parking lot. Supposed to be pretty friendly but don't feel it is safe to walk dog and there is no where to go. I've stayed at red roof for years and they are always basic but good quality. Not this one. Awful.. Avoid!

Upon registering for my room they did not mention anything about construction going on on the property, They put me in a room exactly where the construction of the porch, stairs to upstair rooms and pavement were going on. Very noisy, intrusive. Would not have stayed there if I knew this would happen. Not even a discount or other accommodations when I complained of this.

This hotel is dirty. I encourage you to spend the extra money and stay somewhere else that bothers to clean the rooms.

First, every day we have been here we have had to go to the office to get new keycards due to ours not working. We would have to wait for long periods of time due to no one being in the office. Additionally, our room is unsanitary to live in. Our original sheets had stains all over them. We took off the sheets and realized the entire mattress was filthy with additional stains. Whenever we requested new sheets, they had even more stains on them. We were also told we had to bring the sheets we took off the bed back to the laundry room which should not have been our job. The bathroom has had countless bugs in it as well. These conditions have felt unsafe and unsanitary and we are requesting a full refund for this terrible experience.

When we checked in it was late, 11pm. We seemed to have interrupted a very loud drug deal taking place in the two cars we parked beside. Certainly won't stay at this property or even aRed Roof In again. It was 100$ Canadian and now we know why.

There were chips in between the sheets and the blanket. There was blood on the wall in the bathroom next to the toilet paper. There were bugs and garbage on the floor.

The most disgusting place we’ve ever stayed. Beds clearly not changed from last guest. Dirty, room smelled like cigarette smoke, garbage around the facility and people partying and making a lot of noise until after 1:00am. We felt very unsafe. Swipe cards to rooms weren’t working so the one staff had to run around and let everyone into their rooms. The only positive thing about this place is the staff was friendly. Was way over priced and the pictures online look nothing like to actual facility. Do not stay here! Would rather sleep in my car.

Where to start! This Red Roof Plus definitely did not live up to its name for room 144. The bathroom and above the sink had visible black mould and it smelled musty/mouldy. The bathroom door would not shut. It looked like there may have been a leak from above at one point judging from the sagging and blistered ceiling The desk chair was missing a wheel. The floor and carpet were dirty. A t shirt from a previous tennant was found behind bathroom door. One comforter had a dirt mark on it and the other had small burn marks. We were so tired we did not complain until the next morning but hopefully this room will be repaired. On the plus side there was adequate lighting and plugs for our electronics

The motel is looking very weathered, ceilings, bathrooms and exterior of hotel. It’s a discount motel that sits in an affluent area. The hotels around it are upscale and priced higher, we have a dog so are limited to choices. Was told at checking no ground room jugs available, once I said our dog will bark if people keep going by a ground floor king at the end of the building was suddenly available. I’m glad we got it but not looking good as a consumer being told not available then with concern for noise it’s available. We will look for a nicer dog friendly place

I was with my family at Niegra falls from Friday night thru Sunday night, It was a terrible experience of our life at Hotel staying at Red Roof Inn in Buffalo.Not even Serves the Room at least.

This property was nothing like the photos, example of our experience: when we entered the both rooms, the floor was sticky, marks all over the sheet from blood and peep and poop stains.the bathroom had patched up hole that kicked in and the tub had flim all around it so we couldn’t have a shower. So went online to complain about the room and even that moe was impatient and actual rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone it should be remove it was like a crime sence

Our room was so awful we've asked for a refund. All surfaces were dirty. No power to electrical plug at sink for hair dryer. Bathroom fan inop. Had to wipe out sink & tub before use. Rug filthy -- dust 'worms' ground into it. No outlets near head of bed for CPAP. Partly eaten granola bar and paper cup with ashes in it (in non-smoking property) were under bed. Toilet handle had brown stuff (???) on it.

This place was absolutely disgusting. We didn’t even stay the night. After the show we came to see on campus we drove three hours back because the room was so nasty. It smelled like smoke, there were bugs, everywhere, chewed gum in the ice bucket, wrinkled/unwashed sheets. I even found two pubic hairs in the bed. I felt like I would catch some skin disease if I stayed in the room and in that bed. I want to put down the toilet seat and I immediately put it right back up because the covers were missing off the lid screws and it was all this brown and yellow gunk in the crevices. The entire room was dirty and didn’t look like pictures. Bugs in room. When I left I was covered in bug bites or bed bugs. I was only allowed two towels when there were three people in the room-the front desk person lied three times about giving me more towels and then finally stated he would only give me two towels if I exchanged the two I had. This made me late for my aunts funeral I had flown in from out of state to attend.

No snacks in the fridge. Went to the front desk to inquire and she told me they don’t do that there. Meanwhile theirs a big poster in the front desk area stating if you upgrade you get free snacks in your room. I would not recommend this place and would not upgrade for the upgraded linens or the free snacks as both don’t exist. Very disappointed with my stay to say the least.

I paid for an upgraded linens and snacks. But the linens we had had yellow stains and pen marks on them. We did not receive any snacks. Online stated coffee free in lobby, but there ways none. Room was disgusting, it had dirt in every corner, 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper. Property was unkempt with cigarette butts and dog poop everywhere.

Dirty. The 8 inch crimped hair on top of the towel, instead of a mint, was a nice touch. Cigarette burns on the toilet seat. Wrinkled sheets that i just hope were clean. I could go on. I’ve stayed at worse, but paid less to do so.
