Avoid this place at all costs first off the room smell like nicotine the bed looked like a 5-year-old had done it and the room just plain look dirty when I went to the front reception guy I asked him if he had another room because the one we got smelled like cigarettes he gave me another room same thing literally next door to the one we had originally got smelled like cigarettes the bed look like someone just got out of it by that time I was already irritated when I went to ask if I can get a refund he said no because we paid online so I just at that point decided to find somewhere else and take the loss as these rooms were completely disgusting he tried one more time gave me a room upstairs in the corner above the office saying that was the best room I will say it did not smell as much but it's still was crap I don't know how else to put it avoid this place at all costs spend an extra $50 if you have to unless you like sleeping in filth and this is the place for you.

I didn't like anything The smoke detector in the room was constantly beeping and we couldn't sleep, we went and reported it to the lobby and instead of helping us, they told us to remove the alarm from the wall. We wanted to take a shower before leaving the hotel in the morning, but the tap in the bathroom was broken, so we couldn't turn on the water and had to leave the hotel without showering, which negatively affected our trip. Furthermore, the bathroom ventilation system was constantly leaking water, and because it was directly above the toilet, water was literally dripping down on us while we were using the toilet.

Beware of the bed bugs!

Absolutely nothing. The room was not even in rentable shape. The furniture was broken …literally with the broken pieces still in the room. There was wood and nails hanging from the nightstand . The walls were dirty. The towels were dirty. Smoke detector was not operational at It was so unpleasurable and in comfy..and unclean I was leery of even showering there. Totally unacceptable band gross . I will be requesting a full refund.

Well the room was very clean and in order, was spacious, bed was really comfortable and it was very peaceful. I will be back to the Calico in the near future.

Old run down and dirty

Hotels cheap did not expected to be great but i did expected to be somewhat decent. Bed sheets and pillows dirty with nail polish. Bedsheets had cigarettes burns. The bathrooms toilet was almost breaking. Very dirty walls. Staff was decent.

The staff was friendly. They had a hard time understanding me on the phone and accurately answering my questions. The sheets, towels and blankets had stains and crusty spots on them. The pillow cases had holes and stains. There was old sour food in the microwave. The walls had stains running down them.

The bed cover has stained Shower not scrubbed and yellow Broken tile behind the door Didn’t get any room service the following didn’t even bother asking for more Got accused of not having a handicap sign when parked in that space with the sign visible

It was so relaxing and comfortable. I extended my stay 5 more days. Great customer service and motel prices. Love it here.

Was very skeptical of the stay because of the outside appearance, but the room was surprisingly clean and there was no issues with the area. Front desk people were a Lorne difficult to work with when I forgot my room key inside on accident, other than that we had a great stay here and were unbothered.

There was a dead roach in-between the sheets. AC did not work. Asked for a nonsmoking room, but room smelled like cigarettes.

Woke up with bug bites and found a bed bug. Bathroom had pee in the toilet seat and walls were filthy and very dirty.

I always choose the lowest price with decent reviews. Our stay was comfortable, bed was nice, outlets and lamps adjacent headboard, nice touch, and quiet, AC worked well, but now the bad. Really run down. Owners are present, but some tlc is LONG overdue. Sink drain blocked, toilet is older than G*d, and despite 5 gallon water wasting flush, barely goes down despite holding handle. Missing electrical outlet cover next to bed. Not a biggy, but a wall plate costs .50, and plunge the sink? Pretty lame. Basically you get what you pay for, but one should easily be able to do better for $97 paid

Management are very nice people available around the clock rooms are a bit old school but smell and look really clean overall enjoyed my stay for the price

First welcomed by a musty smell, bugs in the sink with another crawler that disappeared behind the mirror and we could not get to it. Shower wall was crumbling and falling apart to the point that the wall was open. Shower floor appeared dirty but I believe just stained. Toilet had an odd note about unbanding something before use (like in the tank). The bedding was thankfully clean but I would never stay here again. Affordable yes but absolutely falling apart and not worth the ick factor.

This place was a dump. Several cockroaches in the room and there were clumps of long hair on both the bedsheets and the towels. I don't mind the place being old but the filth was disgusting. Also, they require a cash deposit but refuse to give a receipt for it. There's better places around the area for similar prices. Don't waste your money here.

Chill spot

I've been here a week and the reason is because the lady at the front desk has been nice and attentive to my needs. The maids do an okay job. They're very nice but I wish they would use bleach to clean the rooms and when requested bedding change, give us new bedding. Other than that it's quiet, no roaches in my sight, convenient to the donut shop and CVS,and worth the money I paid. I'll probably be back to stay.

The facilities in the room are too old.

Check in difficult. Got into the room to find the wall sockets hanging out of the wall. Jelly on the door. Broken window screen falling out and the window not able to lock. To make it the worst hotel ive been in.... used condoms under the sheets which seemed to have not been changed. Of course the manager said all was impossible even when shown the pictures. Even the video of the shower not working was not possible. Refused to switch me rooms even though the motel was next to empty which i understand why it is. Worst place managed by the worst people

Cheap price = bad quality. You basically get what you pay for. Doesnt seem like they're keeping up with the property. One of the instructions given to me upon checking in was that there's no smoking in the rooms, which I'm okay with because I do not smoke, but the room that I was put into was horrible. It smelled like cigarette smoke from previous customers that checked in. I dont think they changed or washed the curtains. I didn't bother to check for a different room because I was only there for a couple of hours anyway. I just needed a place to lay down and rest before I hit the road, but the smell of the smoke was too strong, it made my stay uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here especially if you have children.

The room and property were good the area around the property is not so good it's right on beach Blvd so the owners can't control what happens .

Curtain rod was broken. Hair everywhere. Two rods sticking out from under the bed box. Sagging bed. Tv didnt work. Not quite how its pictured. Pretty close to Knotts though. Tried to keep my deposit saying I never left one.

Front desk was nice and worked with us when we uad to switch rooms. But definitely a place you get whatchu pay for and its cheap compared to the rest for a reason

The motel wouldnt take my credit card as collateral for the room they needed a $40 cash only deposit and there was no mention of this when I booked the room... I was given a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. AC unit was half broken. TV guide didnt make sense for the channels available. Floor wasnt mopped. Walls & tables weren't cleaned. The shower towel that was provided was not the correct size for an adult. Overall it was a disgusting room. Spray lysol, clean the room with fabuloso, and give your renters bigger towels
