This hotel at a convenient location and helpful staff and there was good security, we have an issue with cards with luggage cards and needing to wait literally 2 1/2 or three hours to get one because they were all lost at the same time. In the end, we had to find a luggage cart on another floor after loading the car for two hours on our home from the sixth floor.

I’ll start by saying the staff was beyond accommodating. I do believe however those not traveling with pets should never be placed in a place where pets have been. That was an unfortunate circumstance to have been in.

We stayed at candlewood for a national powerlifting meet being held at the Anaheim convention center/anaheim Hilton, we chose candlewood because of its location and because of the kitchen, since powerlifting involves a lot of food. From the moment we checked out we had amazing service. The staff really went above and beyond for us and were so kind during our 6 night stay. The hotel is pretty outdated but it was very clean, the ac worked and the kitchen had everything you could need. Parking was super convenient and we never had an issue finding parking. The parking fee is $20 a night. The only negative we experienced was kids screaming through the wee hours of the morning two nights and then another night there were people above us running around their room until 2 or 3 am, so nothing the hotel can control, plus it’s to be expected at a family hotel near Disney, but just wanted to give a heads up that the walls are thin for anyone who needs decent rest. I’d still give this 5 stars though for the staff and cleanliness alone.

Otherwise the room was clean but pretty basic, which is to be expected for what the room cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The internet was fast and reliable.

Great hotel. Small pool but it’s heated. We saved our steps and took an Uber to Disneyland. The kitchen was sooo useful, even though we didn’t cook a hot meal, it was nice to have a fridge, microwave and dishes.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The hotel room was neat and clean. Our family loved it and had a wonderful stay. Perfect for families with little ones.

The room was clean and large enough for the two of us. Room facilities were very good, including a full size refrigerator, oven and microwave. Also free laundry facilities on floor two was very welcome. Well situated for walking to the Toy Story bus station for transportation to Disneyland. Only negative was the tv had very limited stations available.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating for my early check in and late check out due to my travel plans. It made my travel experience stress free!

Our room was great but the only issue we noticed was as soon as we walked in there was water on the floor in front of the dishwasher. We opened the dishwasher and it was full of water, we never had any intentions of using it so it didn’t really bother us. I would say besides that our room was great and we would definitely stay there again!

Stayed in a suite. Kitchen and room were of very good size and clean. The only reason for the 4 stsr is due to the elevator being broken. I got a room furthest from the only working elevator and at check out time. It was quicker to walk down the stairs rather than wait for the elevator everyone was trying to use

Candlewood Stes was very clean and quiet. They have all you need in the kitchenette. I also appreciated that there was free washers and dryers to do laundry. I will definitely be staying there in the future.

We've stayed at Candlewood Suites in Orlando, Fl. and they are much better maintained than this one that we stayed in here in Anaheim. The staff was friendly and helpful.The room could have used a little TLC. Maybe some fresh paint and a touch up here and there. There was a problem with the water pressure (we had little) and little to no hot water. Laundry facilities were clean and up to date although you have to go down to the front desk and purchase detergent. Although this hotel is family friendly, it is at least 4 blocks from the Disneyland Parks, and walking the neighborhood streets, especially at night might be a little bit scary for those with young children. The streets of this city could use some help. They are dirty, there are homeless people and the like. Be forewarned.

Very clean and friendly, unfortunately only one of the elevators was up and working causing long wait times. The free onsite laundry and fitness room were an absolute bonus! The beds/ pillows were very comfy, we stayed in a suite so we had access to a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and hot plate. The location was very close to entertainment and dining. Disneyland was only a 18 minute walk from the hotel, there was a 7/11 literally 3 minutes away as well.

The staff are all so nice and friendly! I love the convenience of a kitchen, the bed was so comfortable. The free coffee, laundry, location (there's so many restaurants near by). Would stay here again Pillows are kinda uncomfortable, my room was by the freeway so I can hear everything but the bed was too comfy so it's fine :)

I did enjoy the room we got the room was very clean and nice overall comfortable spot. However there was an issue with our stove one of them wasn’t working which wasn’t a problem for me but maybe for the next person might so hopefully they can get it fix please and thank you.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. One of the elevatoras was down so ot made getting to and from the room difficult at times as there was only one elevator for 6 floors. Stairs are available but not ideal when you have luggage.

There was no parking even though I paid for it. The cleaning staff were extremely loud in the hallways at 8 in the morning. They were banging on our room door at 10:20 even though checkout was at 11. The elevator was extremely slow.

We were looking for a room where we could leave our dogs crated in the room while we went to Disney before the AKC agility national championship and that’s exactly what we found. The room was clean and sufficient space for 3 humans and 3 dogs. 10/10 would book again

The hotel was clean & felt very safe. Having the kitchen was a real bonus. I did not think that we would use it much, but we did. You can order grocery delivery from the local Walmart and have your groceries delivered within an hour. There was a young women who worked at the main desk who was incredibly helpful and kind. I regret not getting her name, because her service was exemplary. My only complaint is that the building is not set up for handicapped visitors, but the website claims that it is. If you have mobility issues and do not have someone physically able to open and hold all of the very heavy doors for you, then you are going to have big issues. The doors are not automatic, nor do they have the hardware that keeps them open when pushed all of the way. Also, my average power scooter barely fit in the elevator and it was difficult to reach the buttons. If you are looking for a hotel with a decent sized pool then this is not your place. It is extremely small. The pool does have a handicap lift though. Except for the inability to use the doors on my own, I liked everything else about the hotel. Also, the coffee down stairs was really good. The machine actually grinds your beans with each cup. The full size refrigerator also has an ice maker which was great for preparing our water bottles for Disney. The only reason that i would not stay again is due to not being able to utilize any of the doors in the building on my own.

This hotel was super clean and the rooms were spacious and uncomfortable. Our room was cleaned everyday—which I don’t often experience. It very quiet, as well. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and the free coffee was AMAZING. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was convenient and around stores easily accessible and good to Disneyland. There were some areas that were not accessible such as an elevator which only gave 1 elevator for all guests to use and the wait was long.

The hotel in general was ice cold. The water in the shower took 15 minutes to get warm enough to shower in. We are normally happy with all our stays at the Candlewood but this visit was not up to its usual standards.

The only one way entrance to the hotel was coned off. We had to call the hotel and were told to go down the wrong way down the one way to get to their parking garage. The reason for blocking off the entrance was incredibly unclear, and appeared to just be for landscaping purposes. Parking was paid, but no mention of this when booking the room.

When I got to my room, the TV wasn’t working. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but I rely on some background noise to sleep, so it did affect my night. I let the front desk know when I went back downstairs, and while they offered to have maintenance look at it in the morning, there wasn’t a solution available that evening. The next morning, after completing a Disney race, I asked for a late checkout so I could shower and rest a bit. I was told that would be fine. However, despite having the “occupied” sign on the door and letting staff know I’d be out by noon, housekeeping knocked around 11 and then every 15 minutes until checkout. It felt a bit rushed and made it hard to relax. On a positive note, the room itself was clean. With clearer communication about policies and a bit more flexibility or attentiveness to guest needs, the experience could be much better.

Very well maintained, the staff is ultra caring, They recommend on top places to eat and visit. A well organized laundry room - and a pool. The facility is noise-proof, quiet and cozy. Whilst the room is always clean and tidy, Room service is top. Theres no smoking allowed near the facility.

We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. It was pretty quiet allowing us to relax. Sofa bed was too wiry and the AC wasn't distributed evenly between the two rooms.

This would have received 5 stars, however, the AC was placed in an awkward spot that made it difficult to feel the cool air and caused quite a sleep disturbance. Other than that, everything else was great. I do suggest trying to stay on the highest floor as having anyone above you will sound like dinosaurs walking across your ceiling. That was also another cause for sleep disturbance. The kitchen and its items were SO convenient! Had a little trouble with my shower but the maintenance came in less than 2 minutes and fixed it immediately!

Room was clean, and everyone we spoke with was very nice. But the wall were in the thinner side we heard people up and down the hallway and from the floor above. Had an issue with the tub not draining quickly but called the front desk and they had it taken care of. The room its self has very poor phone reception and the WiFi was unavailable for most of our stay. But it was exactly what we needed for this trip and appreciated the cleanliness.

Staff seemed a bit too entitled. Overheard how disrespectful a customer was talked to. Bed was super uncomfortable. And even with my mobility scooter my room was at the opposite end from the only working elevator.

The room.had its physical defects, no sweeping during our stay , smaller than what it looked like in the pictures. Bathroom was decent.

The check in staff was not very friendly. The coffee machine in the lobby stopped working. The tub in the room filled with water and my husband had to clean out the drain which was disgusting.

1 hour late checkout was granted after asking because of my needing to finish my family’s laundry. 1. We caught a cold while traveling, and it was during a raining heavily. The heater emitted a smoky smell within seconds of switching it on. I turned it off and asked front desk for help. They said they would send someone to look into it in the morning, and they could not provide a portable heater and air purifier. We ended up propping open the front door for a while to air out the smoke. The room was always a little too cold for us, and with a little one sick with a cold, we were uncomfortable the whole trip. 2. The blankets were also not thick enough so I felt a little cold during my sleep. 3. No indoor slippers were provided. 4. The light above the stovetop was supposed to only stay on if the stovetop was hot; however, it stayed on the whole night and only switched off automatically during sunrise. We called to troubleshoot in the evening, and the front desk again said they will send maintenance but the problem never resolved throughout our entire 4day stay. In the end I couldn’t sleep well as I’m sensitive to light. 5. The window curtains are not blackout, and so I also got woken up very early in the morning during the 6.30am sunrise. 6. At one point, we needed some emergency towels while my partner was showering. We called front desk and they said they didn’t have housekeeping so they could not send it up. In the end I quickly went down for it, but it caused my toddler to cry until she threw up during the duration I was gone as she was still in a period of separation anxiety. 7. No bottled water was provided at all. 8. You can hear the garbage disposal trucks beep very loudly around 6-7am in the morning, even though we were on the 6th floor. 9. We put in a special request for a crib and shower head for our toddler, and reminded them at check-in, but they were never entertained. 10.

I bought cookies from Disneyland. Set them on the table overnight. I noticed ants in the bathroom and went back to the table near the kitchen. Picked up my cookies and they were covered in hundreds of ants. The ants were all over the window sill. We couldn’t leave anything out during the rest of our stay.

I went inside and asked again, the new person behind the desk said it was. She began the check in process and notified me that it was a $75 A NIGHT charge to have a pet and a $15 a night parking fee. I was not aware that it was THAT MUCH but had no choice since I’d already paid for the room. Then she told me there was a $100 security charge for my stay that would be refunded after my stay. With taxes it was another $310. Bringing my total for 2 nights to well over $700. I accepted my keys and went to go to my room, on the third floor. I have never been given a room on a floor other than the first when having my dog. We traveled cross country and not once did we stay on a floor other than the first. This wasn’t our first 2 night stay away but it was our first time having to take an elevator. There was only one working and the housekeeping staff used it as well, so we ended up taking the stairs often. The room was not nice, a broken toilet seat and a torn up chair are a few things that greeted us. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

The front desk employees were so friendly and check in was smooth. We loved the welcoming atmosphere and how clean our room was each day. We only had one hiccup where the dishwasher broke right before we checked out. But other than that, it was a wonderful and peaceful stay.

Great place when you're going to Disneyland in Anaheim. There's a mini convenience store in the lobby so if you need some essentials/food/drinks, you don't need to go out. I like the free coffee machine as well as their free laundry machines (but you need to provide your own detergent/softener). Will definitely come back in the future!

Walking distance to shops and food places. I believe there’s a gas station if you would like to walk over to get some quick Snacks. We walked to CPK it was about a 7 minute walk. This was perfect we walked shopped around walked off the food. When we got back to the room we did notice our AC unit was not working and they immediately offered to move us. They didn’t hassle us and all the staff was extra friendly! We also got to enjoy the pool it’s a smaller area but it is comfortable and clean. We are planning another Disney trip and plan on sticking with candlewood suites.

Bed was comfortable and having the full-size refrigerator and mini kitchen was a nice option. Location was good and within walking distance to the nearby Theme Parks and restaurants. Seating options in the room for eating, working, etc. were limited. Hallway door had a gap so light and noise from the hallway came into the room.

Loud family with 5 kids running upstairs at all hours day and night. The hotel staff refused to remedy the situation until I wrote to corporate directly. The manager gave me partial refund but it did nothing for the loss of sleep and headaches of dealing with this issue. Most of the staff members were untrained, unprofessional and excessively rude. One girl in particular should have been fired after threatening me and the management team did nothing. Cheap hotel with below average service. Furniture in the room was worn and torn everywhere. Spend your money elsewhere!

Great staff. Loved our stay here and having a partial kitchen. Was walkable to Disney and the shuttle for when we were tired worked well as well and was convenient.

The kitchenette is perfect! It has a full sized refrigerator, and in-freezer ice maker, coffee pot, dishes, pans, silverware, and a dishwasher. They even have salt and pepper packets for you! Bathroom is well appointed with linens, shampoo, conditioner, and extra paper products. The beds are comfy. Some pillows are firm some are soft. They have free washer and dryer available. They also have a self-serve store in the lobby. The pool area has 4 BBQ grills, lawn chairs, a small pool, and a nice indoor lounge with a restroom and a TV. Parking is only $15 a day. Lyft rides are easy to get for going to the parks. It's about $10 each way, with tip. DoorDash delivers right to your hotel room door as does Wal-Mart. I love staying here and will definitely return!

We booked a 2 bed for my son and I two months in advance but when we arrived they told us they were sold out of 2 beds and we were given a 1 bed for our 6 night stay. They did allow us to change starting the 2nd night at least. Otherwise, the room and location met our needs for visiting the parks.

The hotel is close to Disneyland, close enough we could see the fireworks! The staff was user friendly, especially Joey who helped us out! Overall a great hotel, you do pay $15 a day for parking but I felt it was very worth it!

The staff here was absolutely exceptional! I had to do a work event the day of my check out and they accommodated me with a late check out as well as let me leave my luggage there until it was over. They were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and just what I needed for a work trip. It is also walking distance to Disneyland, which was great.

The accommodations were better than I expected. The staff was amazing. Everything was in walking distance, but the bus transportation was a plus too. This will be my go to wherever I'm in the area again.

The staff at Candlewood is outstanding! They are always quick to greet you and ask if there’s anything they can help with. Anytime I asked for extra towels or kitchen utensils…I got them right away. The dishwasher in our room wasn’t working and when I called to let them know, they sent someone up to look at it right away. They weren’t able to fix it so we just washed our dishes by hand for our stay there…not a big deal. The girl at the front desk sent housekeeping up to collect our dirty dishes the next morning which was very thoughtful of them. The staff did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. The only reason I didn’t give Candlewood 5 stars is because of the pool. It’s very small and is only 3 feet deep. It’s a nice amenity to have for a quick dip to cool down and relax after a long day but my daughter is 10 now and has outgrown the pool. I think after 3 consecutive years of staying at the Candlewood, it’s time to try something new. That being said, I will highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a hotel with a kitchenette.

The room was clean when we arrived. I like to wipe down the counters before we unpack and they were clean. A few days in my bed sheets were visibly dirty so I asked for a full service clean, which included bed sheets changed and they were never changed. Other wise everything was good. Would stay there again was about 20ish minutes walking distance to Disneyland which was amazing. The employees are nice and accommodating.

This is an excellent bargain with superbly clean rooms and linens.

Check in was very easy

Kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals instead of eating out. Full size fridge. Shop downstairs had easy prep meals and general necessities. Spacious parking. Clean rooms. Our stay was comfortable. Nice outdoor bbq area.

It was a great experience as usual. I believe its our third time staying at this hotel for our disneyland family vacation. We love the short walking distance to disneyland and the option of having a kitchen to prepare food. Every penny counts when your planning a disneyland trip. It'll always be our go to, the pet friendly option is also the best for us

I didn’t like the attitude of the front desk. She was very rude and dismissive about the fact that she wasn’t going to take my card. Nowhere does it say that the hotel doesn’t take certain cards (Venmo, chime, PayPal, cashapp, etc). Which is really inconvenient for people who don’t want a traditional bank card. While we liked the area since it was quiet, we won’t be staying here again.

Great stay in this hidden gem in Anaheim. Clean and spacious rooms with attentive and friendly staff, who were able to assist with extending our stay. Great find - looking forward to stay again in the future.

When we arrived the girl at the front desk was far from welcoming to say the least. I asked if it was possible to check in early and she acted as if I was asking her to do an impossible task. I will not stay here again based off of that one experience I had with her. Property was nice and clean but staff is unwelcoming. They made me feel like I was a nuisance Instead of a guest.

I’m very picky with hotels and like to sanitize right when I get there. Hotel was very clean upon arrival. Staff at front desk was friendly and the staff upstairs were also very friendly and greeted me and my children :)

Decent hotel for the price if you’re on a budget. But it wasn’t really clean. I noticed there was left over food from pizza on the table and dresser and makeup stains were on the mirror and counter in the bathroom. But it wasn’t loud, beds were comfy.

Decent hotel, vlose by everything you need

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here for our Disneyland trip. We love the room and the parking here. Staff is always nice and helpful.

Great space for our family. Had all the amenities that you could ask for. Better than I expected for sure and you could not beat the price. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again.

Staff were so nice and helpful all the way to security staff. Maid service could have been a bit better. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the outside of the toilet was not cleaned. Overall I enjoyed my stay

It was awesome hotel! I will definitely stay at the hotel again. The only thing is was 3 of us and 2 of us had to share a double bed which was smaller than expected. But, besides that everything else was great!

I was only there for a night. I was extremely impressed with the amenities of the hotel. The service of the check-in clerk was excellent.

The property is very nice, clean, comfortable, quiet and very near Disneyland theme parks. Parking is not free though. There is a convenient store at the hotel lobby. Walkable convenient store near by. We will stay here again!

Staffs are very polite and professional. Rooms are clean. Washers and dryers are free to use. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.

No continental breakfast. Credit card hold has not been returned as of yet. Beds are very small. Not enough roll away beds.

I've stayed here quite a few times and this time was okay. Someone burned some cooking on my floor so it smelled like the place was on fire so we kept checking the hallway but we never saw smoke and the fire alarm never went off but it smelled horrible. Parking was almost at capacity but we managed to get a spot. Walking distance to Disneyland.

Enjoyed our stay during our Disney visit. You can walk or take public transportation that the hotel has info on. The room has electric stove time, sink, microwave and full size refrigerator. Great room for the price. Would stay here again. Parking is $15b which beats $35 at the park.

Staff was AWESOME!! Way too loud. Could hear everything in halls and rooms around. Bathrooms need fans. Everything would be soaked after a quick shower.

Nice, clean place that met all the basics. It came with a refrigerator,microwave and stove which was unexpected. It's not on the main route but it is relatively close. There are some good food choices close by.

Very great front desk staff!! They called me by name every time I walked in. The location was just a few blocks from the Garden Walk area with several restaurants and bars. We felt very safe walking in the area anytime.

A solid, clean place to stay near Disneyland. ART bus stops right outside to take you to the parks or you can walk. Lots of decent restaurants in the area.

This was our first time staying at this hotel, ill start with the good. First off, having a kitchen in the room is awesome, if youre doing Disney it will save you a ton of money. A full size fridge with an ice maker is a game changer, i wont be able to go back to tiny hotel fridges. The room and the bathroom were very clean, also having soap containers mounted to the wall instead of the tiny bars of soap was really nice. The walk to disneyland isnt bad at all, I think it took about 15 minutes at a brisk pace and plenty of streetlights coming back to the hotel so it didnt seem sketchy coming back at midnight. Now to the bad, the TV is pretty small for a room that size, the elevators are beyond slow, so make sure you give yourself a 10 minute window if you need to go somewhere because you can easily wait that long to get on the elevator. The bed wasnt horrible, but it also wasnt the greatest, It did its job but dont expect to be sleeping on a cloud. Overall its a pretty good hotel, its not the Ritz, but its also miles ahead of msny of the other hotels in the area. For the price and the location its pretty dang hard to beat.

However the room we got, which was at the end of the hallway, was soooo loud. People kept coming in and out. Our room faced their bbq area and there was a party of some sort and we could hear all the noise. At 3 am we were woken up by loud noises from the entry hallway door and loud voices. Also there was so loud dragging noises coming out of somewhere in the building. At 5am someone was checking out and he had the latch over the frame of his door and he kept coming in and out for the past hour and we could just hear the slams every single time. Afterwords he left, came back and tried to come in to our room. He kept trying to open our door. I called the front desk to notify and was told they would let him know when he went back down. Apparently they knew who he was, but it was scary thinking someone was trying to get in to our room. Nonetheless we had a not so good night at the hotel. Maybe asking to not get a room at end of hallway may be less noisy.

They were super helpful and knew the area and ins and outs of where to go. Held our bags for us on the last day and we had an easy time getting them.

Hotel overall was a Furniture needs updating! The recliner in our suite was broken ! Bathrooms could use an update! Good place to stay if you have kids because there is space for them to move around! Would recommend ! Its a 15 to 20 min walk to disneyland depends how fast you walk! Best option to get to disneyland if you dont want to walk getting an uber is less than 10 dollars if you get the basic one ! Cheaper than the bus and definitely faster ! We didnt check out the entire property but overall its a 4! Parking is $15 a day it was a gpod price for not being to far fro. Disneyland!

Decent little hotel for the location and price. The only main issue we found is that it's 100% NOT A QUEEN BED! Which truly is misleading. I'm a larger guy 6'6 but skinny 175 and the full sized bed it 6" shorter vs a queen and that REALLY makes a difference. When I asked the front desk if they had any real queen beds they said no the full are our queens. If I would've had my daughter with me 4yr old who normally shares a bed with myself and my wife I would've been very mad having to pay for another hotel last minute. The rooms are nice shower was warm for all of 10 minutes. No spa was kinda lame. The lap pool sized pool wasn't heated above 75 so that may have well been closed for the colder months.
