Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate

Other people whom were staying in separate rooms had no respect for those who were sleeping. People being way too loud during late / early morning hours despite reporting it to the front office. And had numerous people knocking and trying to enter my room during my stay and while i was trying to sleep. Will def not be coming back. Worst experience ever

The place is not the Ritz's, but they had hot coffee in the morning. The bed was pretty comfortable. There was a TV and refrigerator in the room. The pool was lovely. No hair dryer. But it met our needs, within walking distance of Disneyland, check-in and out was easy. Plenty of reasonable pay parking. I would probably stay there again.

The room was a typical Motel 6, bland, lighting was dim. Our bathroom sink water flow, Rm 109 was bad,,, a small stream. Thank goodness the shower head was really good. All in all it was the least in price for a weekend stay, but then again don't forget to factor in the nightly parking fee...

The room floor was filthy had to keep cleaning my feet during my stay. The room had no microwave which is odd every hotel I've stayed at around Disneyland have had microwaves so that was an inconvenience.

Everything was great, except at check in, they charge like 23 dollars a night for parking now. I didnt see that when I booked the rooms.

Just a lot of transient people hanging around. Elevator was completely filthy. I can see why the price was what it was.

Everything for the most part was great. Pillows were definitely uncomfortable and we seen 1 bug but could have been that we had the door open staying on the bottom floor. Overall I would stay here again. Close to lots of things we needed and did.

The location is outstanding, especially for anyone visiting Disneyland. Being so close to the parks made it incredibly convenient, allowing me to spend more time enjoying my vacation and less time worrying about transportation. The property was clean, well-maintained, and felt safe and comfortable. My room was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping the room fresh and tidy. I was especially impressed by how hard the entire staff worked to ensure guests had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, making it a great choice for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. The combination of affordability, cleanliness, convenience, and exceptional customer service makes this Motel 6 stand out from many other hotels in the area. Close to disney had to pay for parking at disney and here cause no more shuttle but great place to stay

Property is safe and generally clean, building needs major updates however.

Room was clean but sparse. Not even tissues provided. VERY basic and even took away the real liquid creamer for powdered. Pool was nice but stairs everywhere being repaired and are sketchy. Water was HOT.

Great for Disney , you can walk

The rooms are very poorly maintained. Ther were holes in the furniture and walls. No laps by the beds; only one ceiling light by the door. The mattress had a huge dip in the center. Water damage in the shower area on the walls. The ice machine had mold literally everywhere. Only stayed here one night after Disneyland because it was close and one night was enough. Would not recommend.

The room itself was okay, but the bathroom had seen better days. The sink and tub were dirty, and the toilet roll holder was broken, with the handle left on top of the toilet. The room looked outdated and unkempt. I've stayed here a lot happily but this stay I am unsatisfied.

Checked out early. We have stayed here for over a decade. Was really disappointed they now charge for parking, definitely will look at other options in the area.

The hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland so that was nice but so are a not of other hotels. When I booked the website said parking but I didn't realize you had to pay for parking, $23.40 a night. I would have definitely stayed at a different hotel if I realized there was an additional cost for parking since it ended up costing more than other hotels in the area would've cost. A couple of stairwells were also closed off with caution tape. We were also by the road and there were super loud cars driving by all night long. Otherwise it wasn't too bad.

The only thing “good” is that it is 15 minutes walking distance from Disneyland. Extremely dirty, no housekeeping at all ! I stayed from June 4th - June 9th, I asked for cleaning service nicely and they never showed up,there are cockroaches, hair everywhere, restrooms dirty with mold, spiders in my room walls, trash outside hallways, no clean towels (had to ask every day in lobby). $23.40 per day in parking, not $20. If you want to ruin your clothes use the old iron they have in the room, the “fridge” did not work and was dirty, again (asked for cleaning services never showed up) . The coffee machine is just nasty. They only have one microwave for every one down in the lobby, and it’s dirty as well. The second day we had to shower with cold water! There was no hot water, called the lobby and no answer. The room curtains had holes, no privacy at all. Our room smelled like cigarette even stating that it is a smoke free zone. Finally to conclude, I will leave evidence of my stay here, please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Our stay was for two nights when we asked maid for new towels we were told to ask front desk as there is no daily service provided. Machines for snack's was horribly over priced, candy bar $3, Starbuck Frappuccino $5 - ridiculous! would have moved to another property but it was memorial weekend and everything was booked. Would not suggest staying at this Hotel, definitely overpriced.

Our room was clean no complaints with the room. However, the pool was disgusting. We could see the pool from our room and the water was so dirty we didn't attempt to use it at all, on the last day of our stay it looked like it was clearing up so maybe we just caught it on a bad week.. the elevator was dirty along with the floors in hallways and lobby but thats expected with a low budget motel. This was perfect for just sleeping and bathing while visiting Disneyland with my kiddos. I felt safe with my 3 children and had no issues with theft or questionable people.

I usually stay here quite often but this time I have to say was not a very good experience. The staff was great and location and price was excellent I usually don't have a compliment but this time I have a few. Upon check in the room was clean but we had notice there was a half roll of tiolet paper and no extra roll There was a piece of plastic wrapped around the fire alarm in room that was weird Then when got back from a long day at Disney our room was not serviced so again no tiolet paper or towels had to go downstairs to get those things ourselves Overall this time around I would have to say was not a pleasant stay!!!!! Hopefully if we return the stay will be better.

This motel 6 is manged more professional than expected. Obviously because is a Disneyland friendly hotel in my opinion. Check them out.

Staff was very helpful. Room and location were great 15 minute walk from Disneyland. Room didn’t appears as pictured. You could hear everyone and everything through the walls. We had to repeatedly ask to fix our key to enter our room.

I am a fan of the no carpet in the rooms. You can see the floor and that it's clean. The bathrooms need some updating, but the property is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, they were there to answer any and all questions. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again

Listen, it gets 3 stars but in fairness I paid for a 3 Star motel room. The air conditioning unit in the room is very noisy, I wore ear plugs so I was fine but my husband and 6/8 year old girls didn’t sleep as well. The room was decent, basic necessities and clean. The staff checking us in was helpful and very nice. I really enjoyed the self-serve convenience store in the downstairs lobby. We stayed one night as locals with Disney passes that wanted a convenient place to stay that was a reasonable distance to Disney. It was about a 15 minute walk once we made it to Harbor Blvd outside of the park. The price was right for the purpose of this visit, but the only reason I wouldn’t jump to stay here again is because of that noisy a/c unit.

My family and I have been staying here for the past 4 years since it’s walking distance to Disneyland/California Adventure. It’s a great spot to sleep and shower. It is clean and we feel safe every time we stay here. Unfortunately, Motel 6 has started charging $20 per day for parking. Overall, it’s a good stay.

We have stayed here now 4 times in the past two years! It’s a bit of a walk to Disney but honestly for the price you cannot beat it! It felts clean and just want we needed since we are at the parks all day!

Every staircase was broken and taped off making it difficult to get to your luggage up and down. Staff was unfriendly at checkin.

It’s close to Disney, that’s it. Had a person on a wheelchair and asked for a room in the first floor. The guy was pretty rude and said there was nothing available on the first floor. Asked for the second floor and he putted us in the back of the building, further from the elevator. When we got the closest elevator there was a small stair that we had to grab the heavy wheelchair to get into the room. When I complained with another employee she said there was actually rooms in the first floor. We switched rooms after bringing EVERYTHING THERE!!! Ok, transferred to the first floor and 3 times the key was not working. When we went third time the lady asked us to go to the back of the line which was HUGE. For a mistake of her employee friend made. I just gave up and asked for it next day. Next day got back from Disney and found a tick inside the room. If you’re willing to accept pets you need a proper clean room every time someone leaves!!! Worst motel 6 I’ve ever been

Everything Did not dislike anything

Was going to go to Disneyland didn't want to pay more than $150 but when I got to the room it smelled like dog this is a pet friendly so obviously a pet was in there it's hard to get rid of those smells but they could have used more cleaning agent. I didn't want to complain and I was tired so I just settled in and sprayed my perfume. This is the kind of place you come to as a lost Resort but don't want to go to a motel. It was 113 for the room for one night the bathroom and beds were okay I didn't see any bugs but I did see prostitutes walking around especially skinny men smoking cigarettes in the hallway strung out. I didn't like that especially since I was alone there's something weird going on here there's people living in here? When I was coming up the stairs a man scared me that was coming up from Disneyland late and he came out with a mask on I didn't like that either. I couldn't use the pool as it looked cloudy and then the next day they were cleaning it and I had to go to Disneyland the tables by the pool are dirty. There is free coffee in the lobby but don't expect any creamer and don't expect any stir sticks. The managers are okay there is a glass around the desk so that explains a lot. This is by the freeway off Katella you are a distance from Disneyland you cannot walk you will be tired so we had a lift which cost 40 bucks for both days I came home late at midnight and I did hear someone outside my door playing loud rap that scared me I did not even look outside

The beds had bedbugs my kids and husband have bites all over body! We have to throw away our belongings we are scared to take anything home. The gm never called me I emailed her 2 times the office never called me back. Room 313 was infested and room 317

I liked the close proximity to Disneyland of the hotel and the staff were very friendly. There were broken stairs on our way up to our floor. The front desk said they had run out of clean towels at one point. The rooms for sure needed some updating. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. And the lighting in the room was terrible. There was also some sort of blood splatter that was scattered through the hallway to our room.

No housekeeping services took place for my room in 4 days. Lady at desk had an unwilling & weary attitude regarding my check out need the night before I was to check out. Meanwhile, her coworker who was graciously helping someone else on the phone, tried to help me too. He even apologized afterward for not being able to help. He should definitely be working at a classier motel. Multiple graffiti messages were scratched into the inside of the elevator. The floor was badly scuffed in more than one area. Pressing the elevator button inside to the needed floor & then the close door arrow button of the elevator works best. Caution tape and orange cones stretched across the broken concrete steps. Someone shoved the cones aside and ripped down the caution tape. Sadly guests still attempted to use these steps regardless of the obvious risk. I preferred the elevator. My room had a gap in the front door which allowed air through.Since nights are cool, bring a blanket. Motel 6 Maingate provides sheets & bed spread Exchanging my malfunctioning key card, the front desk told me the trick to get the door open. While swiping the key card, pull & then push while turning the door knob to get in your room. It proved to be helpful. I appreciated the self serve & pay gift shop’s refrigerated food items but even though it has a microwave, there are no paper plates to place your items on to cook & bring to your room.

I do not know where to start with this. I was so disgusted when My Son and I checked in very late.. we were extremely tired and the front desk gentleman was the most rudest ever. I currently work in the hotel industry as an FOM and I know how we strive to provide excellent customer service especially when late night travelers are coming through.. I believe his name was Josh. He would cut me off during my sentence when I would ask him a question. It looks like he was annoyed frustrated it appearedthat he hates his job.. upon checking into our room. It was disgusting dust everywhere dust on the bed, on the TV ,dust on the dressers the shower has mold, chips of paint missing ,water in the sink would not drain the room smelled and to top it all off he put us directly next to the laundry room for housekeeping.!! as I mentioned we were extremely tired when we checked in very late and when I called to ask for some more blankets, he stated that we would have to go up to the office and retrieve them ourselves then when I asked him about moving us rooms he stated that he didn’t know where he would put us because they were almost sold out mind you the parking lot was a third full . The washing machine and dryer were running for about 45 minutes before we could not take it anymore. We packed up our stuff and went back to the front desk to ask to switch rooms. I also advised him please not to check anybody else in that room since it was dirty hairs on the bed. FDA needs to be retrained

The room was easily accessible, they did mess up the time we were going to be there so our card for our room didn’t work the last day so we had to get that fixed. The parking spots are so small you’re literally 1 foot away from another car and hope you don’t bang each others doors trying to get in and out. Parking is $22 a night and there was no shuttle service to Disneyland. Other than that; it did its job for sleeping and showering for the next day.

Staff very helpful and location is super close to Disneyland within walking distance It was just dirty and not accessible. The room we were in was impossible to reach , especially traveling with an animal we stayed in room 271 and it was not very consumer friendly or room location. The room was dirty. Hair all over the bathroom floor , all over the towels , and the beds we had to sleep on top of the comforters. There was also a bug in the room that I didn’t know what it was.

Flooring in room was coming up and my daughter cut her foot. There were roaches in the room and cigarette burns on the bathtub. There were two women sitting in their cars parked in the handicap spaces that I am pretty sure were sleeping in the cars and just sitting in them smoking. They also charge $24 a day for parking. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was so nice. Assuming new owners with how rundown it is in such a short time.

Asked for a first floor room - was told none were clean. The stairs to the second (and third) floor were "out of order". The elevator stunk. There were cigarette butts everywhere. The pool & hot tub were filthy. The water pressure was awful. No microwave in room. The wifi is SLOW. No breakfast of any kind offered. There was a constant, annoying beeping sound in the room. I figured out that by turning off the power strip under the bed it stopped. Not sure why. Very unhappy and dissatisfied with my stay. Had stayed here about a year ago and it wasn't so bad. It's gotten way worse.

There was a front desk lady with red hairs and tattoos. She had an amazing conversation to her customers before me and helpful to them. After they were done and it was my turn she completely changed her behavior. I asked her about the parking fee. Instead of answering verbally, she showed me the sign. I told her you can’t answer verbally then she answered. Then she asked for my licence plate for the permit, she wrote completely different then what I told her and it wa only 6 digits and letters. After went to my room , called hotels.com customers service and told them the story, while the representative put me on hold , there were two people trying to unlock my room door. I looked out from the windows and the person was saying another room number. I called the front desk and she said she might have wrote my room number or another number. 3 mistake in 15 min does not seem like a coincidence to me. I have no idea why she acted that way but I will report her to motel 6 corporate as well.

Maria in the office was very helpful to us during are stay. She very polite and courteous. The only thing that I had an issue with is the lady next door was smoking outside the door. But all in all the staff was all really respectful. If I have to stay somewhere again in case of an emergency this is where I will stay.

Horrible experience. Temp in the room was muggy. Not cold. Tv didn’t work. I checked in at 11pm. Brought it up to their attention. Was suggested tk say it to management in the morning. Management could care less. When I checked in someone said their room had no outlets working in the room. So no items including ac worked. They said there was nothing they can do to compensate. Sent me on my way. Horrible service. The stairs were chipping was dangerous. Lady checking in was nice and empathetic. Morning staff horrible. I would recommend for anyone to stay away.

Nice area near Disney parks , a lot of shopping options for food and Many stores near By . We found a Thirty and Stinky sock next to the air Conditioner,

No hot water for showers unless super early or after 11pm. Some outlets worked and some didn’t. We were on the bottom level across from an elevator. Do not recommend.

We stay twice there during our Disney trip.

We like staying here for the walking convenience, it’s not too far from Disney. We also like the pool, hot tub, fridge in the room, and it is overall a pretty clean place.

The walk to Disneyland was perfect. It really was about the same time as ordering and waiting for an uber. The walk seems far but it really wasn’t. We were in the park within 15 min.

I loved it, very convenient place and easy to reach. One issue is parking fee.

Could use updating, bathroom was looking to be from original build. But room was comfortable, beds were soft but that’s how I love them. Staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout or stay. But this hotel needs to offer do not disturb door hangers. Daily service is over kill so want the option of knowing when someone will be entering my room. Hot tub is not owned by the hotel so getting it fixed was only though a third party company so when we drove 1200+miles to this hotel and walked all day at Disney we were unable to enjoy it throughout our stay….very sad. But still a great hotel and only 15 minute walk to main gate. No shuttle needed.

This property is at a good location about a few blocks from Disneyland, which makes it nice. However, the rooms and flooring felt very cheap.

No frills motel. Stayed 1 night. Perfect for Disneyland. Clean, comfy beds, friendly staff, mini fridge is a bonus. Property itself requires few updates.

Had another nice stay. I didn't have a car so they didn't charge me for parking. I got the lumpy pillows again. I'm beginning to think that the good pillows are only on the upper floors. I found a tiny black stain on a hand cloth but it was no big deal. Still got a good night's sleep. Thanks guys!

If you are planning to walk to Disneyland its a walk. 3 blocks to the emtrance. Rooms are clean and good space. Parking is very helpful. Breakfast is simple but good.

Just to find the room was a struggle due to the directions given by the receptionist. Couldn’t take the elevator, there was random steps down the halls leading straight to my room so I had to take the long way around with my little ones. Every staircase that I took the steps were broken, very dangerous! One of the rooms had a dog which did not let sleep, barking all night long like if left unattended the entire weekend! Overall worst motel 6 to stay at.

When I arrived, the city was experiencing a situation that made the hotel very busy, but the team handled it extremely well. They stayed calm, organized, and made sure guests were taken care of. I truly appreciated their efforts and positive attitude. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to my family and friends. Thank you!

Disappointing

Good proximity to Disneyland The walls were so thin. Noise all night. My room was by the elevator so heard it a lot.

First off, we were charged $22 a night for parking ($77 total). Secondly, our room was falling apart. We had a refrigerator that hardly kept cold & no microwave. The TV had no remote. The toilet paper holder fell off after first use.

I did not feel safe at this motel. When I arrived, a fight broke out in the parking lot and the police had to be called. Inside the room it was very outdated and dirty. The second night, other guests were plying such loud music and there were drunk people in the parking where again the police had to be called. Needless to say, I left and stayed at another hotel for the rest of my stay. This hotel is Not a place to stay.

The room is nice but isn’t all that. It was clean and a fairly quiet stay. Staff were really nice and helpful.

Staff was not friendly upon check in (2 young guys were both like I’m not gonna do it and seemed forced to help me). Building was on the older side and showed signs of that. While the room was clean it’s wasn’t comfortable and rooms weren’t made up. While technically it was within walking distance of the parks it ended up being further away than I thought which was not great for my kids. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again

From our toilets water hose exploding causing our room to flood, to the black ants in our room, our stay could’ve been better.

The room was clean and the staff came in to give fresh towels twice through the 4 days. It was decent and good for the price. I would possibly stay here again for the price but the walk is kinda far to Disney especially when your feet hurt and you’re tired. The outside property was clean and pool looked nice. The bed was actually comfy and the sheets smelled clean and fresh. A little out dated and the walk is far. I did have to switch rooms bc the sink was clogged and the sink in the new room was clogged also.

Well the 2 men at the reception desk was misinformed about your amenities. I asked them do you have bathtubs in your rooms they both said no just showers I said okay. But when I got to my room there was a bathtub and shower combo in the bathroom. Then they said there is handicap parking in front of our room 111 and I get there and the handicap parking is clear to the left of us or to the right of our room but they had handicap ramps. Then as I was driving to my room we see a man beating up another man in the parking lot and a woman screaming call security or 911 so we drove by and I was going to call the front desk from in our room about the incident but the phone in the room had no dial tone when used. So experiencing all that I was kind of afraid to stay but my paraplegic husband said just put the chair in front of the door and we should be fine. Then I go to the bathroom and the tile on the floor was cracked so the next day I brought that up when I checked out as well as everything and this lady was very kind and patient with me and was surprised that the staff was not aware of the amenities but would get the phone and floor fixed and apologized she was very nice. Other than that it was a great stay as we often shun motel 6 because up northern Calif motel 6 because they are not two story like this one. The rooms need to be checked more often but for a Saturday night stay for $130.00 it wasn’t bad but remember that does not include daily parking fee of $20 plus tax that you pay aside from your stay that you already pay. It should have been added to the total amount and paid all at once.

Staff were very friendly!

Improved from the the last time I stayed. Much noisier since staying right next to the elevator, however, was still comfortable. There were a few gnats in the room but was able to get rid of it.

Our only issue we had was our top duvet cover on one of our beds had a quarter size blood stain right in the middle of our bed. It was definitely a blood stain. I am still wondering how that was missed. We took off the duvet and gave it to the front desk but we never got a new one or anything after that. I was definitely grossed out.

The room itsself was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful check in was very helpful. The park was vlose by to the hotel. The only thing that was not good was the air conditioning. It did not work well, and my room was not as fresh as I would have liked. The shower also was clogged. Overall, the staff was nice, but the hotel does need some more updating.

Had another nice stay. I took advantage of early check-in; I was able to unpack and unwind before work. There weren't any coffee cups in my room so I went down to the lobby and asked. The pillows were comfier than last time. Thanks again, Motel 6!

I have been coming here for years usually it is a nice location about a mile walk to Disney. Parking used to be free. I recommended this place to everyone I knew. Now it’s not worth it. It’s still pretty far from Disney and the extra fees haven’t improved any of the amenities or comfort. It’s almost gone down once parking was being charged. You pay almost the same parking at the park and you walk less. The beds were really uncomfortable this time as well.

Check in was easy, and the front desk clerk was very warm and inviting. we were able to get a room right next to my parents who were also visiting the area with us. However the water pressure in the bathroom sink was very weak and there was a half drank coke in the fridge. Nothing huge but just wanted to mention so hopefully the issues can be addressed.

This used to be a great economical motel, it was perfect for a family trip to Disneyland. Now, not so much. It is still affordable, however, you are not getting what you once did. The room had no place to sit other than the bed, so any food was eaten in bed. The AC unit sounded like a construction site, there was no microwave and the fridge was barely cold. The bathroom was a waste of space and the light switch was in the opposite side of the door making it difficult at night to use without disturbing the whole room. The water pressure in the shower was good, but the sink was a trickle making hand washing and teeth brushing teadeous. The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be, the rooms were clean. I would recommend this motel for those that don't mind the limited amenities and want to save a buck, however, we will be seeking more suitable accommodations in the future.

Rooms are clean, however, AC is outdated and the bathroom wall has water damage on it and bathroom sink was not draining well. All and all, it was a decent place to stay for a reasonable price.

The beds were awful, if you are a teen or 20-something I'm sure you'll be fine but our bodies are still recovering from 4 nights on those bricks. The vent fan in the bathroom did not work, when I called to report it, they let me know they knew...why no one told us when we checked in, I don't know. We were told specific days housekeeping would be in the room, we don't like housekeeping being in the room when we stay so the night before we always call the front desk to have them skip us, but we got back to the room and found it had already been visited by housekeeping. There was hair all over our room and bathroom when we checked in, the bedside lights are the brightest lights in the room, obnoxiously so. The one table lamp in the room didn't work, and there were gaps in the flooring and some of the pieces were coming up, i can't go barefoot in general but my partners feet got cutup really bad when we discovered the issue. Was it what we expected for the price...mostly yes, but still the front desk staff and the "lack of care" that went into the "remodel" was very obvious. The guy that was there on our last night was great, but everyone else seemed very clear they would rather have been anywhere else.

We only booked this location because it listed shuttle pick up and drop off. When we arrived we had to figure out on our own that there is no shuttle service there and the closest one is about a 20 minute walk away

We love to stay here, perfect distance for going to Downtown Disney, rooms are always very clean and staff is nice and helpful. We will be back in the future.

It was hard getting fresh towels. The bathroom in our room was gross. The toilet was dirty. Also paying for parking was shocking as I have stayed here many times and chose it all the time because I bring a car and don’t want to pay for parking at hotel and at the park. I don’t have the opinion of alternate transportation as I have disability.

I’ve stayed at cleaner motel 6’s. Overall it wasn’t horrible, the beds seem pretty clean but the floors were scary. The elevator shifted a lot while in use. However it’s a short walk to the parks and there’s a nice mall between the hotel & the parks. So that’s a plus and the staff at check in & out were super helpful & friendly.

Another nice stay after a long day at work. I could be wrong but it looked like they renovated one of the rooms last time I visited. The bathroom was amply stocked and the room was quiet and private. The pillows were on the lumpy side though, but I still got a good night's sleep. Parking was easy too! Def come back!

Rooms were just ok. Doors to bathroom don’t close. Asked staff if our grocery delivery could be left in lobby and they said yes. Then they told the intstacart guy to leave it outside our door. Thankfully no one stole them, but I was not happy. The elevator is janky and passed due on its maintenance. Way too far of a walk to Disneyland. Uncomfortable beds and bad pillows.

Motel 6 Anaheim had two reservations for me for the same date so when I checked in I said that it was mistake, the front desk and the manager would not give me a refund so I had to pay for the two rooms even though they had time to rent out the room that I obviously didn't need. The room was old, shower so dirty that I didn't even use it and no microwave and you could hear everything- walls are thin and right next to the freeway. I will not stay here again and DO NOT recommend staying here- there are so many other options near by

This place is fantastic. Great rooms. Very clean and modern. No carpet. Pool was good. They have mini market to buy drinks and snacks. 10 minute walk to Disneyland. (Uber $7). Very safe area

Air conditioning was not working well and the remote control didn’t work called the main office and 1hr passed and I had to call back for them to call maintenance again then they showed up.

Everything was great except there was a dead cockroach in the toilet. Probably left on purpose, who knows!

The hot tub was broken. There was no warm or hot water in the shower/bathtub. The bathtub did not hold water.

There’s cheap and then there’s CHEAP. We don’t have high standards for Disney hotels because we want a cheap place to sleep and shower, nothing more, we don’t spend any time at the hotel. Room was clean enough. But that’s where the good ends. Do yourself a favor and skip this property. For being so close to the parks I expected it to be better maintained.

It got the job done as far a place to stay. You can hear everything , there was a ton of pincher bugs in the room , it smelled moldy , and there was no ventilation fan. The bathroom/shower area wasn’t ideal as there was no door to separate the sink area from the bathroom.

Cleanliness It was not easy to find my room

Pool and hot tub weren’t working, no hair dryer, sink had very low water pressure and toilet water as overly loud; properly older and poorly maintained. No breakfast offered, front desk staff seemed cordial but mentioned room would be cleaned every other day—during our 4 days it wasn’t cleaned once. Room was fairly clean on arrival and close enough to walk to Disney which was a plus.

They’re also very pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The staff was always helpful whenever we needed anything, and they consistently made sure we had fresh towels. The AC worked great (a lifesaver after long park days), and overall everything was comfortable and smooth. For the price and location, it’s a really solid option. We’d definitely stay here again!

Affordability The check in attendant was not knowledgeable about anything around the park and we paid to literally park our car. The room floors and toilet were dirty. Dog poop on the grounds. Staff unfriendly and quiet. The GM was the only friendly employee. When I went down for coffee and asked for more cream they said they ran out and had none. They are skimpy on the wash clothes and toilet paper. No dirty clothes bags in the room.

I forget the lady's name that worked at night while we stayed, she was great. Dog barking outside my room at 5:45am and digging in the mulch outside the door, first room barely had warm water and terrible pressure and a roach, second room was better but was still not the most comfortable.

Not as clean and some of the rooms are bad. We ended up having to getting put in another room because this one had little nats coming out of the shower drain. The water pressure was just a tiny stream of water. but when we got moved, that room was much cleaners. I've stayed here a couple of times but don't think I'll be returning this next time we're in Anaheim.

I always enjoy my stay here. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. There was one lady who’s been there forever and she always seems to hate her job and guests but I only deal with her on occasion. Sink was slightly clogged but I managed. I’m literally only in my room to sleep and get ready.

Horrible place to stay. Upon check in there was a JUMPING BLACK WIDOW LOOKING SPIDER that was inches away from crawling on my hand. The hotel staff said DONT KILL IT to me! I could not believe they wanted to keep it alive! As i scared away they put it in a cup & moved it outside & set it free. After that they put me in a room on the first floor with the Rubber door slider that prevents outside insects from entering, only it was halfway peeled off! After less than 10 minutes a bug crawled in & i killed it. I called Hotels.com & asked to be moved to a completely different hotel as my lady & I were uncomfortable knowing bugs could crawl in while we are sleeping. Hotels.com only issued $50 credit & had the hotel move us to a different room. Our new room had greasy slippery floor that we had to walk on slowly & 2 beds when we asked for 1 & If that is all we could get we adjusted but it was very uncomfortable both nights. There was also 2 random pills underneath the phone stand, perhaps drugs from last customer not sure! The floors were cracking & the shower & everything's very outdated & falling apart. Towels were tiny & thin & not your normal everyday shower towel. No daily room cleaning, and it definitely needed it. In night time around 11:30pm we could hear someone outside stealing money from a vending machine or changing it out or something. It prevented us from sleeping or going out to check. NOT A GOOD STAY AT ALL. Spend an extra $100 TRUST ME and stay anywhere else!!!!!!!!!

We have stayed here many times for our Disneyland trips. It is a no frills hotel thta gives us a place to sleep, which is all we need. However, this is the second time we have stayed in a room on the first floor and the flooring is horrible. It is a vinyl rolled flooring that has a wood floor print to it. In the heavy traffic areas from the door/entry area, in front of the bathroom to the "bed area" the flooring has detached from the sub floor. It is cracked and very uneven causing tripping and, if you have bare feet, getting pinched by the cracks. The wall A/C unit was missing the vent panels that direct the air flow, so it just blew directly on the person that slept on that side of the bed.

They say the breakfast was free and they make me pay.

Hot didn’t work, my key stopped working part way into my stay and staff just seemed burn out. When I ask them about fun thing to do near by besides Disneyland, just kept getting answers like “idk” and “nothing”

Room 151 was clean & quiet. For the price & how close it was to Angels stadium I’d stay again. Staff greeted us every morning when walking out and when walking in & had towels available when needed.

Cons: DO NOT take a room adjacent Anaheim Blvd or Disney Way. There are Temu race car drivers all night long racing up and down these streets. There is no door to the toilet and shower!! Bizarre. Some of the stairs outside are rotting. WATCH YOUR STEP!

A nice stay if you are looking for a cheap weekend! It was close to Disney and the beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge and an iron in the room. My family wasn't in the room much.

Doors are paper-thin.. So even someone standing outside your door talking at a normal volume you’ll be able to hear them as if the door was open. But overall, it was a fairly okay stay. It was cheap so definitely worth it.. if you’re wanting to stay somewhere cheap, this is the place!

Unfortunately it was very run down, dirty and just plain falling apart. The lobby coffe was colored water! No hair dryer or tissues in room. They came in and replaced the towels but not the washcloths and hand towels. I really wanted it to be good but it just wasn’t. Also they do not offer pack n play or cribs.

The location was convenient and the staff was friendly. The room lighting was very dim, the bathroom fan was broken so made the room extremely humid after showers, and the hot tub was broken.

Very nice and not too far from the Disney park. The walk is around 15 minutes which is short but after a long Disney day, the walk WILL feel like 40 lol. Overall a great stay, the rooms were clean and staff was very accommodating. We did not realize we would have to pay for parking at the hotel which was my only complaint but for the Expedia price, I did not complain.

First room, 206 - window did not lock and you could open it from the outside. Second room, I think 226 - air conditioner didn't work. Final room 252 - no problems. Hot tub was not working. Pictures are very deceiving, looks A LOT nicer so just remember it is still a motel 6. I requested no housekeeping and they still came in while we were out, they do not have do not disturb signs. Beds are firm, and very low water pressure. It was a clean room and a bed to sleep in but don't look at the pictures and think you're finding a great deal, again, it's a motel 6.

I really Loved that I could leave my pets in the room while my family and I went to Disneyland. My pets felt safe and secure and I had no worries about leaving them. The staff was so great to note that I had pets in the room! They also let me extend my check out by 1hr. So grateful. The only thing is the elevator could use more direction signs and be a little more cleaner. Besides that great stay for my family and fur babies!!!

Fine stay for the price we stayed. Close and walkable to Disneyland which is the primary reason to stay at this hotel. Hotel needs some upkeep to flooring both in room and in common areas (broken and stained tiles in elevator lobby area and laminate in the room coming up). Room could have been cleaner . Room next to us had a dog that barked non stop from. 7 am on our last day until we checked out. The hotel did call the owner but they did not return to their room to deak with the dog.

Staff was friendly. Our room was filthy! Lot of hair in shower area, wore white socks that turned bottoms grey/black, bedding was stained and sheets felt like sand (piling). Convenient and priced well below other hotels in area for walking to Disneyland.

It should only close off the toilet and shower for privacy while others can still use the sink and mirror.

Beds were too hard and the cable was out for most of our trip.

The room is opd and worn down. The mattress was lumpy, the air conditioner was way too loud, the tv volume couldn't keep up with the AC sound, the bath tub had been painted over in the past and all the paint was peeling off, the toilet clogged, and the towels were thin and ragged. I told the front desk attendant about the toilet at 7:30 am, before leaving for the day. He said someone would tend to the problem while I was gone. We returned at midnight to find the toilet still clogged, and the room unattended to by housekeeping. While checking in I over heard another guest ask for ice. The attendant said the machine just broke and someone was working on it right now. That was not true. There was a paper, handwritten out-of-ordee sign taped across the door. It was obviously at least months old. The whole place is just unworthy of any promotion.

If you want to charge for parking that is fine but roll it into the cost of the room not after you arrive and check in. But that is how you lose customers. Put a hidden fee and surprise them when you arrive.

Clean & comfortable

The tv in the room only showed 5 channels. When I mentioned it to the front desk they said it was bevause of the weather. Mind you it was sunny and in the mid 70s. The tv never got fixed the whole time I was there.

Floor was lifted in room had to ask for towels to cover it do we didn’t stub our toes.

Charged over $70 for 3 days of parking which was not specified in the motel’s advertising; TV had 0(zero) working channels when we arrived and no attempt to fix situation; telephone to office wasn’t working; room wasn’t cleaned during our stay — not even once; I asked for a box of tissues and was offered a roll of toilet paper; there were no blankets only a one foot strip of light cloth at the bottom of the bed; no shampoo in the bathroom; towels weren’t changed ever during our three day stay; breakfast was not offered.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. There was some noise around midnight from people getting back from the park; but not a big deal, but if you are a light sleeper, just a heads up. I was in Anaheim to see Ghost over at the Honda center, and this location was really close and even closer to Disneyland. There was also plenty of parking (I got back from the concert at 11:30ish pm) on property. It’s a hidden gem and I will be utilizing this property for my next Disneyland trip or concert / Hockey game at the Honda Center.

Another thing was there was no hairdryer, but I asked for one at front desk, and they were happy to supply one. Also, it would be nice to even offer a continental breakfast. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, and it's within walking distance to Disneyland. For the price, it was resonable. Staff was very friendly, and I would definitely stay there again.

Room was fine. Minus the UNused condom hidden in the towel rack. Also trash sat outside the elevator on the top floor for our entire stay (3 nights). Housekeeping never came, usure if it needed to be requested.We decided to let it go. AND the elevator hadnt been inspected since 2024 and certificate had expired (05/09/2025). Strange I know but we notice things like this. Now the young man who checked us in was super nice. Aakednif we had a floor preference, which we didn't, but he gave us the 4th floor with a view of the fireworks. Best part of the stay.

We chose this hotel for the reasonable price compared to others in the area. When we got there they told us there was a daily parking fee. Looking back now, with the parking we were charged, we could have chosen a place the same distance from Disney with free parking and a complementary breakfast. After booking I had gone back to look for parking information and could not find anything about it. Plus, on Expedia's messaging system to Motel 6 Maingate, I sent a message asking about parking (on January 25th). As of my arrival on Feb 14th they had not responded, nor had it been read. The front desk said they would let the manager know and get back to me, but no one did during our stay.

This hotel is really run-down and dirty. I was there for 4 days and no housekeeping services were provided the entire time. The pools were ice cold. There were no hairdryers in the room, so I had to wait to see if one was turned in by housekeeping. The tub was plugged and elevators only went down to the second floor, so I had to take the stairs to the lobby. The staff wasn't very accommodating either.

We were on the first floor by the pool the first time and it was pretty quiet only if people were loud while they were swimming did, we hear noise. This time we were on the third floor in the back it was actually pretty loud you could hear the street noise, and it seems they put all the rowdy customers on that floor. However, the management did tell people to stop so at least they actually manage unlike some of the more expensive hotels we have been too in the area. I noticed there was less furniture in this room compared to the other room. Same layout as the other and don't expect for privacy in your room from who you stay with as the bathroom door is a closet double door with no lock. we also did not get room service everyday as we did the first time but if we went down to request for sheets or towels, they were given promptly. Overall, this hotel has been better quality than quantity from the more expensive hotels and I do recommend.

The place was amazing 10/10

The staff was rude from beginning to end of stay. The room it self was not entirely cleaned. There was dust, the bathroom floor was sticky, there were stains on the shower wall, the fridge had a rotten smell and no hot water in the shower.

The room was falling apart, the entertainment center was falling apart the cover over the lights in the bathroom feel off in the middle of the night, there was a cockroach in the bathroom and nobody cleaned the room the first 2 nights we stayed so trash was over flowing and we were only given the half of roll of toilet paper left on the rod for the entire stay.

The room was dirty, with hair on the towels; the floor was dirty, and the bathroom door had a handprint. The location is also noisy with sirens.

The staff were nice. Now for your front doors and the door to the pool should be automatic or a button to push to have the doors open for anyone in wheelchairs. I am going to look into the ADA laws because I think that's required.

None of the ice machines worked. Only the one in the office. Shower pressure was so low and horrible a shower took longer than usual. The elevator and hallways were dirty and trashed not very eye appealing. Parking spaces are super small. One entrance and exit with an elevator.

Room was very dirty. The day we checked in there were used contact lenses left on the bathroom floor, hairs in the bath, the air conditioner unit was covered in dust. Room was cleaned every 2nd day and contact lenses were still on the floor after we checked out following 2 visits from house keeping. Understand it’s cheap but still should be clean.

The hotel was very budget friendly and close to the park. It's a 10-12 minute walk to the Toy Story shuttle lot that takes you into the parks. We were able to be accommodated when we got to the hotel earlier than expected. Maria was very friendly and helped get us into a room quickly. The desk associates were friendly and greeted us when we came down to the lobby and went back up to the room. The rooms are a bit outdated but were clean and had what we needed for this trip. I appreciate all the hospitality that we received while staying here.

This is nothing fancy, but it’s a good price on a location in walking distance to Disneyland. If you plan to stay at the park all day and just need a convenient place nearby to sleep, this is a great option.

The room wasn’t very clean, but had the potential to be decent. However, the walls are PAPER THIN, during our stay there were people partying until 330am on the balcony. I had the fan on, and my Bluetooth speaker to try to drown out the noise. The motel was fully sold out so we couldn’t switch rooms. We paid for a 4 night stay, but checked out after one night due to the sleepless night. Because we booked through Orbitz we couldn’t be refunded for any of our stay. The motel said they would have refunded us, but they said Orbitz (Expedia) would have to take care of it, and then Orbitz refused to refund any portion of the stay. So two lessons learned, one don’t book through Orbitz, two, don’t stay at a motel 6, not even one near Disneyland.

The rooms are good size, clean and basic. Small fridge but no microwave. No breakfast but they do have free coffee hot every morning. Our first stay we arrived at 1:30 pm and had no problem checking in, staff were wonderful. Second visit, same thing. This time they made us wait for over an hour until EXACTLY 3 pm before we could get into our room. When I asked if our room was ready at 2:30 and again at 2:50 I was told "no, it will be ready at 3" Last time they gave us a discount on parking because we are repeat customers, this time we asked about a loyalty discount again and were told no. When we stayed 3 months ago the spa/hot tub broke while we were there. Used it one day, broke the next. Oh well, things break...I get it. Now, three months later it's still not working. This was very disappointing to see that fixing the hot tub for their guests is not a priority to them. It was raining while we were there so I looked for a hair dryer to help dry things out only to find they have a limited supply and couldn't get one. We were also told on check in they have housekeeping services every other day. We were there 4 nights and housekeeping never entered the room. Not sure if we'll stay here again at this point. If the hot tub isn't repaired, then definitely not.

Prices are very high for a Motel 6 due to location.

The room itself was really nice! Looked just like the pictures However this was probably the worst stay I’ve had in Anaheim. I’ve stayed on the Main Street before so I couldn’t understand why this area was SO NOISY! Every car/siren that passed would wake me up. Parking is about $23 per night so we had to pay about $100 extra for that. Besides that it was pretty close to Disneyland but I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

The pictures on your website of the rooms are deceiving. The room we got was NO where near what it looked like online. The front lobby smelled like hot piss when we walked in. Only stayed because we had no where else to go. Won’t book again ever.

The location was convenient because you could walk to the park. They were a bit stingy with towels. They wanted me to come get them at the desk at 10am the next morning. Nobody is there at that time because you want to be in the parks then.Ask for your additional towels right off and all else is fine.

This is a great no-frills hotel that is comfy, clean, safe and walkable to the Disneyland parks. Bring your own hairdrier and bottled water, but it's a great choice if you are spending most of your time in the parks anyway!

When we arrived, I checked in me and my family. They gave us a room that was not ready. It was very dirty. I had to go back to guest services just to get another room and they charge $40 for parking. It was an inconvenience trying to get from one room to another.

Motel charges parking fee for vehicles for each night. This is extra expense.

Staff were polite Cons- poor WiFi, no hair dryer or microwave in room although shared microwave in lobby. No Kleenex. Tired hotel but overall clean. Hot tub was broken. Pool furniture is tired and run down Overall for the price this was ok. Close to Disney. Went with my teenage son. Wouldn't take small kids here who would want to use the pool. If you have played hockey in rural Alberta and stay in hotels you'll be fine as this is like a tournament hotel. If you need more than extremely basic stay find somewhere else.

Terrible service. Dirty room!!..I stayed five days there, got a room with two beds and only one day the "cleaning" was done. Only the trash was picked up. Only one of the beds was made the other one wasn't because "it was halfway done". They didn't clean the floors, no soap, no shampoo. They over charge for the parking space for each day. Definitely, DON'T recommend this place to stay at!! Motel 6 is no longer the clean, attentive and affordable Motel they used to be.

I always stay here when i go to disneyland with my kids and this time wifi was not available on my side of the hotel, staff didnt clean my room when we were at disneyland and had to have wet towels around during my stay and had to go to front desk to get toiletries and towels so we can shower the second night. Had to discard my trash that i properly had conveniently placed near door to make hotel staff job easier if they had cleaned my room while we were at disneyland and to find a trash bin was inconvenient since we were exhausted. In march i gave a 5 star review because all these issues were never an issue till this trip. I will not stay here again due to these issues, i love motel6 but if this is their new policy in an area where they should excel due to disneyland, they are in desperate need of new management since employee at the front desk said this is their policy now.... its best to spend an extra 50 bucks more at another hotel that offers all the issues i stated plus free continental breakfast that motel 6 doesnt provide. If they change their policy or change management i will consider to go back but will not return here in april, i will go elsewhere where the customer is treated as a customer.

Room was pretty rough but good enough

The staff was great! The only thing that i had a problem with was the AC, looked like the filter needed some cleaning and the room was very muggy. The room I stayed at was a double room that had a door connect to the other room and it qas vwry loud, you can hear everything. I did travel with my 3 children. Overall, the stay was still pleasant, shower, beds and refrigerator were great no problem. Thank you!

We’ve stayed here many years and it will be the last years and it will probably be the last time. The entire floor smelled of weed, we only received two towels and half a roll of toilet paper when we checked in. The next day, we asked housekeeping if we could get another roll of toilet paper, and we were told it was not our housekeeping day. We stayed five nights and I had to ask for new hotels under our fourth night as well as more toilet paper. Housekeeping was very rude.

The only downside is that the curtains didn't block the lights from the hallway and the room wasnt dark enough for my sleep

Our shower broke & it took 2 days for maintenance to come out only to tell us it was not repairable. We had to move to another room…and that room was worst than the 1st. Air conditioner barely worked. Air conditioning screen wa broken so metal was sticking out. Definitely a safety hazard. Trash in corridors was over flowing & the property in general smelled like dog poop. Will Never stay here & would never recommend.

The room we were assigned was on the first floor by the pool. The room was ok but definitely needed the bathroom to be renovated. We arrived and was told we would be charged extra for parking - $24.50 a night. The adjoining room was very noisy but quieted down after midnight so we could sleep. Breakfast was not included but we brought bars and our mini Keurig. A coffee maker was included in the room but we prefer to bring our own. Close to Disneyland, restaurants and the volleyball tournament we attended.

Hot tub did not work

I checked in late the first night and our room was really hard to find because they didn’t have correct signage around. And then when we found our room, we had a really hard time getting into it because the door was jammed and we had to try multiple times with shoving our bodies into the door to get it open. We went straight to bed and in the morning used the rest room which the toilet was leaking. When I reported the issues that morning we were told that since we didn’t report that night when we checked in that they couldn’t do anything about it. They said they would send someone to look at the toilet and they never did. Water was all over the floor and it was a safety hazard. Multiple ice machines at the hotel were also not working. And it was $70 for parking for our time there and I wasn’t aware we’d have that extra charge.

Room I booked was not ready for my stay the after I had all my stuff in the room and all organized I realized the bathtub wasn’t going to hold water so I called and they said they could move me rooms which I had no choice so after packing up all my stuff moving to another room which had issues as well but after moving my stuff the second time I didn’t want to go to another room. And I wasn’t just here for one night or so was there for 5 days so I was very disappointed with this since I had issues with my room door with opening and locking all week hope to make future visits but something needs to be done

I didn't use the hottub nor the parking lot

Good location/quiet, area felt safe, able to see fireworks from the parking lot. That’s about it. Hence why it’s even getting an 2. Now the not so good: Upon arrival at 3, room was not ready. When we got into the room, we immediately took note of how dirty the floors were. I ended up taking Clorox wipes to them & in the process lost a pair of socks due to how gross they were left. Same with the bathroom :( After a 14hr day at Disney, my husband & I debated heading straight home bc we just didn’t want to & then at check out, the front desk woman (I don’t know their name, but it was the heavier set woman with glasses, not trying to insult, just identify), was incredibly rude All in all- for the price, you may save a few bucks staying here so close to Disney, but I promise you, you’re better off staying somewhere else. Be aware there is an additional parking fee!

Staff was nice! Room was... Spider webs on ceiling, drywall on bottom of tub was bubbling out a lot from shower water. Water was spraying out from shower head. Next to freeway so at night you can hear all the dumb loud cars and motorcycles.

Knowing we’d be at Disney most of our trip the hotel was to be expected. It could definitely use some updating but the room was clean. Shower pressure was very low and water would switch between hot and warm. For Disney it’s very walkable and staff was quick for check in. No real complaints besides shower and the hotel just needs to be updated.

This was our fifth stay, and the hotel consistently delivers on value and convenience. While basic, it is exceptionally clean and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. The short, easy walk to Disneyland is a huge plus, and the affordable parking rate is a major cost saver for the area. If you are looking for a great-priced, clean, no-frills place primarily for sleeping and showering within walking distance of the parks, this is the perfect spot.
