Rooms where ok , not very clean we found a pill on the bed (Tylenol ) and there was some holes on the walls .

I didn’t like anything about the property except for the maids that were quick to provide additional towels. The parking lot smelled like weed; the location is not worth the price; women of the night were working in and in front of the hotel; broken toilet; dirty carpet; pillow case had stains on it; bed had hair from previous guest on the sheets; no hot water and staff member told me they didn’t receive a complaint from the family that was living in the room for 1-2 months; and maintenance left his footprints in the tube and dirty towel on the floor when fixing the hot water.

It was the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. Holes in the walls & doors. Carpet so dirty you couldn’t walk barefoot. Bed comforter smelled so bad with cigarette burns throughout. The smell was awful. The lady running the front desk window was also helping clean the rooms. I didn’t get much sleep, couldn’t wait to get home to shower & wash my things.

Motel Moonlight was one of the best but was better than most motels I’ve stayed n the Anaheim area. By the time I got there I had to check-in at the outside service window which made me feel uneasy because it was in the same area as the Beachside Inn. Fortunately, I was given a discount on my room thanks to AAA (I assume) and my room was conveniently located right next to my parking spot on the first floor. The room was well kept but they could have done a tad better. The lower parts of the walls near the floor looked dirty, there was a wire sticking out of the ceiling, and there were some splotches on some of my pillows. (I only slept on the clean ones. However, I was pleased with the Hi Def TV and some of the amenities offered like a hair dryer and fridge with working freezer. The bathroom was clean but there was a creaking sound when I used the faucet. The towels were well stocked but there were no hand towels or wash cloths. So while it was better than Beachside, it’s not there with Motel 6.

Loved the service given to me. My tv didn’t work and the lady went and fixed it right away

Would not recommend this place double charged me for a single night and when I brought it to their attention they denied it fully and basically said they don’t see it on there record so there’s nothing they can do that is Hotels.com fault currently filing a fraudulent dispute against them through my credit card company

i was unhappy with the condition of the carpet in the rooms. our feet were black from walking barefoot in the rooms.

The Motel & staff was great, but the parking was a big problem, not enough parking spots

The staff was friendly and helpful. They also solved an issue with the shower the same day it was brought to their attention. This is a no frills type of place, some of the provided amenities were in need of replacement, due to disrepair. Parking is a bit limited.

It is very dirty. The pillow case was very dirty, it looks like they did not change the pillow cases. The blanket is very old, I even did not touch it. I wore the jacket and jeans when sleeping. Omg. It was very dirty and smelll very bad. Be careful with this place .

Parking is a little tight some nights. If you are staying multiple nights they will ask wether you want maid everyday or not, can just call the desk when you do.

Well they have a Queen mattress with a full box spring bed so your hanging over the mattress all night. And the shower has no power to push out water needs to be replace.

The room is very basic. Only problem I had, was that I walked around in the room barefoot. At bedtime my feet were black.

The check-in and check-out was super fast and easy!

I didn't like the fact that there wasn't enough light in the room and it smelled like something was old in the room.

The office staff was RUDE RUDE RUDE.. threatened to kick me out because i complained that the room smelled like pesticides

Worst place I ever stayed. The reservation was for a king bed. The bed was a double for two of us. The place was gross. Cable would not work. I complained about the bed and was told to take it or leave it but by that time could not cancel reservation. They tried to say it was a queen but it was a double bed. We just need a place for the night then moved to airb&b.

Wasn’t sure if the pillow cases were clean. There were hair on all the pillows and it was not mine.

I like motel, for the price was ok. The most interesting is that everything is near to it.

An ok place to stay. Pros: they make your bed and change your towels every day. Cons: hair dryer didn’t work, no fan in the bathroom, and you had to pull/ push the door really hard to close it which made a strong noise.

Definitely a no-drills hotel but really nice. The staff was engaging and friendly. The only problem I had was that the TV didn’t work but I was told that they could have fixed it with a phone call. Oh well, the bed was nice enough I didn’t need the TV to fall asleep.

Needed a quick room for the night was very clean smelled clean. Checked in the guy was very friendly. Loved having a mini fridge and microwave in room as well as tv and free internet. Decode was old fashioned we liked. Bed was confortable

It was small, had roaches, front desk people were not the best and only there mainly during “business” hours.

Room is quite good but I hardly find the staff to talk to. I visited 3-4 times to reception but its always locked. No Staff assistance provided.

This room did the job it needed to. It was cheap but the carpet was filthy (room 23) In need of a good shampoo. Good location and self parking at your door. Overall not too bad but leave your shoes on inside.

Staffs are friendly and willing to put effort to accommodate the needs at Moonlight, but there are people smoke in the proximity of non smoking area.

Good to spend a night, working a/c, clean, lcd, responsive staff.

Nice motel, you have everything inside (mini fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker) if compare for Motel 6 they don’t have anything of those and more expensive. The price was good , we spent just one night and definitely will come back. The staff was nice and friendly , fast responsive, we arrived late and they wait for us. Thank you!

convenient to beach Disney knotts and its cheap safe quiet.. for the price this is the best yes its a bit older could use some updating but im gone all day at the beach and parks I like quiet and safe and it is clean.

The room was gross. Stains on pillow cases and box cover sheets. Walls, ceiling, and door were smudged and badly worn. Bathroom corners were gross. Room smelled of stale cigarettes.

I requested a double bed NON smoking room. When we walked into the room, it smelled like cigarettes! Like someone had just lit one up in the room. (Upon getting home, all of my clothes needed to be washed because they smelled like cigarettes) When checking the beds, my friend had noticed yellow stains on the white sheets. We were so grossed out, we went to target to buy blankets and pillows. There was black mold growing in the shower, writing in sharpie on the bathroom door, and the bathroom ceiling fan was halfway falling off.. on top of that, the tv stopped working.

It was nice and quiet. We don't have any problems or issues and the personal is very friendly.

I would love to give this property a completely stellar review, because the manager was so friendly and helpful, but there were a couple of minor property issues. The beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet and a short, easy drive to Disneyland. The room was as promised with a fridge, and we felt fairly safe. On the flipside, the carpets were quite dirty (I washed them in the shower, and between the shower and bed they were dirty again), the hair dryer was not fully functional, and the shower itself only converted partway to shower head, leaving the tub to fill as you try to shower. Easy fixes with a little more attention and investment. Otherwise, I would stay again because it's an affordable alternative to the ridiculous prices closer to the park!

Smelled like smoke, their was hair on the pillows. After taking a shower I was relaxing and noticed the carpet felt sticky to my feet, it is so dirty the bottoms of my feet turned black. The tv wouldn't changed channels unless you held the remote button for a few seconds. We slept on top of the sheet. If you have no choice but to stay here beware of room 22

The room had a bad Oder and also there was no tv service they said it was down ! And also they charged me $30 in cash to check in an hour early but we where very tired so we paid but won’t ever use this place again

Attended a memorial service in Long Beach. Moonlight Motel served our needs. It is conveniently located. The laundry room was a nice feature as we were completing a long trip.

First time I stay at this hotel, it was an average type motel for the price. Small rooms but has basic needs including small refrigerator and microwave. Very close to knotts, not so close to Disney but both ok at driving distance. Parking was enough for all guests. Not many restaurants close by walking, buy many at driving distance. I may stay again in here if in the area.

Not a bad place to stay. The room was nice and spacious but the next door people were loud. The bed was mediocre. Around 2am there was a loud crowd outside disrupting our sleep.

Spacious Hotel rooms and clean. Noise of constant 'humming' like a carpet cleaner was throughout our 2 day stay. Owner or Manager is super gracious.

We booked a room with a king bed three weeks before arrival. Upon arrival we were told that they only had a room with two doubles left. We did have a very late arrival, but had no trouble at all checking in. There was someone there to give us keys and point us in the right direction. Overall the room was pretty clean, however, there was a hole in the bathroom wall that rather than patching had toilet paper stuffed in it, and the shower curtain had a few black spots along the bottom that looked like mold growing. For the price this place was a good spot to just sleep for the night between theme parks.

Not very helpful, as she should have known herself as to which off ramp to take. Had to call for face cloths. Otherwise, very nice.

The room was decent and clean. A little difficult to find front desk staff. Close enough to Disneyland and adventure land. Price was competitive with similar hotel/motel in the area.

Expedia says it's close to Disney, not even close. No bus service, no shuttle service. It's a good 20-30 mins on the freeway. Knott's about 15 mins. Not a bad place to lay your head, if that's all you plan on doing. Some pretty shady, and scary folks in the parking lot smoking who knows what at night.Monthly welfare rentals on the first floor. Get a room on the 2nd floor. TV didn't work in the room even though we let the front office know the first night we checked in. But we got back there late at night, so again only putting our heads on the pillow to sleep up and out early. Porto's Bakery was about 15 mins away for pastry and coffee get there early lines are crazy long, like Disney.

Definitely a lower budget stay. It was right off a busy main street and some of the surrounding hotels looked really sketchy. We arrived very late at night and the front desk was helpful. Had some trouble with the key card/doors because the lights blinking on the door are confusing. Rooms are very old, but clean and did have fridge, microwave, & tv. We had to go down and ask for extra towels since we only were given 3 for a 2 Queen bedroom. Overall, motel is okay and the staff seems nice, but because of the location and older condition, I wouldn't stay again.

We got a non smoking room but when we got into the room it smelled so bad like cigarettes. It gave my whole family a headache

Spent most of our time at Disneyland, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom was spotless, the environmental control was efficient, and the tv had good entertainment. Had a decent-size fridge to keep leftover food from spoiling and a microwave to reheat it in the morning. My personal topnote was that the manager/front deskperson was actually really nice and relaxed, made us feel like good friends there for a visit. He wasn't sour and grim like so many hotel managers are. Check in was easy and quick, checkout was the same. One and only point of concern was the slippery bathtub, which can be easily remedied with a mat or some texturing. I nearly had a bad fall twice because of that tub! XD if you're looking for a clean, secure, and cheap hotel within easy striking distance of Disneyland and/or Knott's, this is a good place to go!

I found this motel which was less than 1 mile from an appointment the next day. It was very quiet and the room was nice.

I liked that is short driving distance to Disneyland, to Knott's to stores, to literally everything and I also liked that it has a refrigerator and a microwave. The rooms are descent and accommodating and clean. It is also peaceful and not loud. I would have liked that maybe a couple of little ice cube trays be available in the freezer but it's nice

Late check-in time which is 3pm and too early checkout time which is 11am.

no tissue in the room so we had to use toilet paper! when we got to the room, the refrigerator was broken - so they changed it out. but why wasn't that taken care of before we got there? the manager was a nice guy and did do his best to make us happy.

The guy behind the desk was so nice and helpful, very accomodating. When we got there he did mention he was booked so almost every parking was full. For what it is its worth your money. Even had a coffee maker in the room

So I was just looking for a place to rest my head. but this place was nicer than I thought. 15 minute drive to Disneyland, 20 minute drive to multiple beaches (No Freeway needed). Many food choices to choose from. Walmart & Target within miles. the small fridge was perfect to keep snacks for the kids. overall just a great stay for the price. definitely recommended if you are just looking to have a place to crash and enjoy Disneyland and the beach. Danny the office manager was beyond friendly and very accommodating. the room was nice enough for the price. definitely not HILTON but that's not what I was paying for. All in All I will be using this place again

This is a great stay for the money. The room was clean, the microwave and refrigerator worked. It's 4 miles from Disney, 2 from Knotts and 6 from the beach. The neighborhood is a little iffy but we didn't have any problems inside the motel. Friendly and helpful staff. Biggest downside was the beds were so uncomfortable but again not bad for the price.

fine, just make sure that you have your plans etched in stone and written down. in other wordsk, there were issues upon arrival verifying late check out and my input for shuttle pick up was not recorded even after verbally agreed and verified mutlipe time. that was only issue and manager accomodated it; it was just a pain in butt

Made the reservation through Expedia, which I had never had issues before. I arrived at hotel at approximately 2100 hours and the manager told us that they had no rooms available anymore and were not going to accept my reservation through Expedia. I had to look for hotels around the area at that time.

Pros: The owner was nice and friendly. The rooms were pretty decent for the price. They provide microwave and a small fridge which was great for a motel. The location is excellent as it is 4 miles from Disneyland parks. Cons. We had to leave a day earlier due to a slight change of plans and the motel owner could not refund us our money for 1 day that we did not stay. The carpets require some cleaning in the rooms.

thought we were getting 2 queen beds and got 2 doubles, also I told them not to come in our room but room service came in to clean-up when we were gone anyways. Toilet paper was transparent (Never Seen Thinner) so remember to bring your own.

The room was decent for the price. The front manager was very nice. Room was clean but a few knats were flying around inside. The bathtub dripped water constantly. There were not enough towels for our four guest room but I usually bring my own just because I've encountered this before in other small motels. No biggie. We were asked if we wanted service to our room. I opted for no except for fresh towels that do get provided. House keeping did stop and ask anyways if needed service other than towels. That was nice to see if we needed anything else. The neighbors had noisy kids but it's a small motel and assumed it would have draw backs. The price for a 3 night stay was great for what it was and location was just where we needed it.
