The Antioch Inn

It was clean, comfortable, and had a good breakfast. When I arrived, the hotel didn’t have my reservation. Hotel staff was able to accommodate my reservation and even gave me a discount from the price I had booked. I thought I had booked a Hampton Inn through Booking.com. Turns out that it is no longer a Hampton.

Was just a sleepover on my way to Florida was grateful for allowing my Cat. I’m amazed at how many hotels say they are pet friendly but then when you ask about a cat, the say no I need to make use of luggage carts to get the cat in her carrier and everything back-and-forth from the room and in the morning when I was leaving, there were no carts and I had to go searching the halls to find them. Clearly people had taken them up to the room the night before, but hadn’t brought them back down to the lobby felt like that was something staff should have done. Decent breakfast, clean comfortable room.

Nothing Rooms stunk; the carpet in the rooms were filthy. My feet were dirty from walking in it for just a few mintutes, then my socks were filthy from walking on it. I took pics; Food was sub par; There were about 8 bikers there that parked under the canopy making it hard to drive through. They had chairs out there sitting and talking. Not good. The tread mill in the exercise room didn’t work.

The WiFi is not good.

Breakfast was great. Checking in and out was easy. The hotel needs a refresh. Its warn out and dated. It also was dirty. My shower had mold on the ceiling and everything felt like it needed a deep cleaning. Also, my mattress was not great.

How it was no smoking

My car got broken in to and no one cared. I told the front staff and they only told me to call the police. There was about 12 cars that got broken in to. There was no security in sight.

I cam for my granddaughter 1st birthday party and my son daughter-in-law and grandson were driving up Saturday morning and the gentleman at the desk allowed them to check in early because the birthday party was at 2 o’clock and my son is a type one diabetic and needed to get his insulin under refrigeration and they allowed them to check in early so they could change and get the insulin under refrigeration I thought that that was just exceptional service and meeting the needs of the customers. Great job would recommend that place to anybody coming to Nashville and thanks again for the great hospitality and the great breakfast. Everything was exceptional. There was nothing I didn’t like.

In general, the hotel is really showing its age however I was somewhat pleased with the stay. The breakfast was decent with a wide selection of foods. The dark and light roast coffee pots were fresh and extremely flavorful. The shower was really nice. Beds were quite comfortable. Room and common areas were clean. It's just an older property that could use a lot of tender loving care and remodeling. Not used to seeing old, scratched up, worn furniture in a Hilton property. This property needs a make over.

Location is good, away from heavy traffic. You need a bilingual staff. Hard to communicate with non English speaking workers. The maid stripped my room before I was checked out while I was at breakfast.
