The downfall of the hotel was that there is not a pool. I will not stay here again because of this.

On the second day, I requested help very early in the morning with extremely heavy bags getting on the shuttle bus. The valet serviceman came to my room at 4:30 in the morning, took my bags down to the shuttle and watched over them until the shuttle. He then loaded the bags on the shuttle without me ever having to touch extremely heavy bags. Definitely five stars!!!

So able to get a good night rest after being mentally and physically exhaust

National airport in DC cancelled most of its flights yesterday because of storms, There was a scramble to find rooms and when I got there a long line was waiting to check in at 8:30 pm on a Friday night. There were only two people working registration as this was unexpected, but they were very efficient and helpful and got everyone squared away in record time. The rooms were great and they even have a full service restaurant, which not many do these days. They made a bad travel day a lot better

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They put me right next to the penthouse which was super cool. The bed was comfy, and the airport shuttle got me to and from the airport. Top-notch stay!

Great hotel stay! The staff was attentive to my request- asked that they provide non-feather pillows and before I settled in the room, they were replaced. I have stayed a few times at this property and the front desk staff are always friendly and professional. Beautiful hotel and clean!

MINUS: No room service was done. After we checked in on Friday, next day we were out from 11:00 AM to 7 PM and room service was not done. Lookout: PARKING! If you are driving a car for your trip, There is no generic parking for all customers, it’s a $50 valet parking per DAY. Recommendation: Use Spothero and it is like 7mins walk from hotel. You will spend 10-15$ per overnight parking. PLUS: Rooms are clean and good. Hotel is Good!

Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms was quite disruptive for most of our first night. Hoping for a better, quieter night’s sleep today… sigh.

Didn’t have reservation, requested a room next to elevator due to a leg injury - was at the end of hall. In room, couldn’t figure out how to find menu on tv, took maintenance about 30 min to figure it out. Food was less than average

Net was good breakfast was very good with very pleasant staff, but we had to wait few hours to get our room with free feather, it was asked at the time of booking.

Best buffet breakfast we have had in a long time! Room OK with good maid service. Hotel understaffed. No doorman to greet you and help with luggage or give advice on nearby restaurants, etc. Only 2 people at front desk. WARNING: We booked for 4 nights and had to leave after staying 2 nights....PENALTY FOR CHECKING OUT EARLY A FULL NIGHTS COST OF $325. EXPEDIA SHOULD WARN ABOUT SUCH A POLICY. Also note hotel is about is a mile or so from the subway station in Crystal City....walkable but not very safe at night. Also, they say the shuttle runs every 20 minutes...but the hotel staff does not monitor it at all.

The property overall was very nice. Gentleman at check in was extremely polite and helpful. We like space and layout of our room. Enjoyed a nice dinner at restaurant. Our major concern was thr bathroom for safety and cleanliness. The shower had a half glass wall. The edge around shower could not contain water. Therefore the bathroom floor ended up being flooded. We felt this was a safety hazzard for slipping and not a way to keep bathroom areas clean. We ended up using towels to wipe up the floor ourselves so could continue to use the bathroom area.

I was stranded at the airport and couldn’t get my bag back till late. Food served till midnight and staff let me know that the kitchen holds some salads and small items for after hours guests.

In our times we are gone digital, except for the tips... I saw at some hotels a card with a QR code from a housekeeper, and that would allow to leave a tip - would be nice if you could adopt this

I booked a king size bed, confirmed twice with the hotel that my flight was delayed but that I was enroute and would arrive around midnight. The assured me all was fine. When I arrived, they had given my room away and put me in a room with a pull out couch instead of a bed. When I asked for another room, they said all they had open were suites and they could not give me one, that I had to sleep in the room with the pull out couch or I could cancel my reservation and go to another hotel, No refund, no proper explanation for giving my room away. Completely unacceptable,.....terrible hospitality.

My husband and I had a staycation for our anniversary and the hotel was perfect. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the view from the 16th floor was perfect. The staff were exceptional, professional and courteous. Our stay was perfect.

Everything was great! I really recommend prepaying for the breakfast buffet. For hotel breakfast the food was great.

Let the customers know in advance about paying a 50.00$ security deposit fee. I saw nothing about that while I was making the reservation and i paid a lot of money.

Clean room; the room quality is excellent. The staff were very respectful and mindful of my needscustomer needs. The restaurant staff and the front desk staff were impressive. I would like to single out the front desk staff, Virginia, for her extraordinary compassion and welcoming demeanor during my check-in, and for her concern about my experience at checkout. She wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the services I received at Hyatt. Such an attitude goes a long way in reinforcing brand loyalty. I noticed.

The staff was excellent and the room was very clean. My issue is upgrading to the 18th floor for the incredible view of the 17 floor building across the street. Don't waste your money. They never mention there is no parking and you will pay an overnight garage fee or hand your keys to the very nice weed smoking valet, every trip in and out is packed with the odor of weed. Next piece of advice is to walk to the nearest hotel for a free breakfast or be prepared to pay $30 a person for an overcooked Red Roof in breakfast. The tables were very clean though. Actually the entire place was super clean, my issue with their listing is what I wrote above.

The room was perfect, the shuttle to the airport starts late. I suggest to start at 4:00 am, that 20 minutes could make the difference.

The room was clean, hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. However, the staff, from car drop off to front desk and baris what makes this hotel special.

Chaotic parking for check in. Took 25 minutes for valet to return car, if you have a car do not stay there

Loved the airport shuttle, the room was clean and quiet. The Metro was a reasonable walking distance and that got us where we needed to go during the Marine Corp Marathon.

I visit the Hyatt Crystal City for a scheduled event and I am never disappointed. The staff is ver accommodating, pleasant and put in effort to see that I enjoy my stay. A quality place for vacations, meetings or just to get away.

Stayed on the Fourth of July. I was hoping we could see fireworks from our room and we did just not the ones in DC.

You need to have more than 1 person working at your front desk. The young lady working in the evening and the gift shop needs to improve her social and communication skills. She needs to understand that customers are not an inconvenience and she needs to stop playing on her phone while she's on duty.

The hotel was very clean. Dealing with front desk Lyric was a breeze. She was very courteous and helpful, accommodating my 2 room reservation. The breakfast was exceptional!!! No self parking just valet parking available. Only 6-7 minute drive from DC, great location.

Overall the property wasn’t terrible. The room could have been a bit more cleaner. Staff was amazing and dining options were on point. The pool was smaller than expected.

Stayed for two nights and got bed bugs. First time this ever happened to me. Staff was barely helpful I add to guide them through out the entire process.

We had an excellent stay from the check-in to the stay to the checkout. Our hotel attendant May was outstanding. She was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly.

The assistance from the Front Desk (Mr. Yaw) was very helpful for two weary travelers who were starving and looking for a place to eat. The hotel food bar had closed.

5th stay in 9 months. Pool, but only outside, no inside pool. Service excellent in all areas. Too much fried and fatty foods. Way too large slices of desert, could be half that size and still plenty. Bathrooms could use updates, especially the showers, rather rough, open sided, no towel rack, shower heads outdated. Post directions to gym, no one knows where its at...

I just found the front desk agent less than friendly, especially when she was talking on the phone while checking me in. The property itself is somewhat run down. So I think that is the main reason factor contributing to my rating.

Convenient to Regan National. Very friendly and responsive staff. Pool area was a bit dirty and had seen better day. Avoid the valet parking. Took forever to get your car and there is a cheaper self park alternative next door.

The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. However, the bathroom lacked a counter to place our toothbrushes and other personal items—it only had a cabinet in front of the sink. Unfortunately, my experience in the first-floor dining area was terrible. The server was extremely rude. I was traveling with my son, and due to a flight cancellation, we stayed for one night. The server didn’t bring us plates or cutlery, never checked in to see if we were okay, forgot our second order, and did not follow instructions for the first order. When I stood up to speak with a manager, the server noticed I was upset and, in a very rude tone, asked, “What do you want?!” Thankfully, the manager was kind and apologized for the server’s behavior.

Extremely excellent service is truly remarkable. The friendly demeanor is likely attributed to the majority of the staff being Ethiopian. They are down-to-earth and approachable.

Stayed one night so we could make an early flight. Hotel is nice. Staff at front desk helpful. Loved free airport shuttle. Bar was good. The only quibble is the coffee in rooms is dreadful.

The staff was friendly and the housekeeping was excellent. They made our beds everyday and re stocked our linens. We enjoyed our stay.

By far the best hotel I have stayed at. The hotel was in a great area, was very clean and the staff was nice and helpful. I love the dining options and loved the hotel store had a variety of things to choose from, including childrens medicine (which is important for me traveling with young children). Will definitely stay at this Hyatt in the future.

I had a toilet that backed up human feces into the bathtub. I had to call maintenance. It took them hours to fix it, and they never offered to copy the room or anything else. One of the most disgusting things I have ever experienced at a hotel and I’ve stayed at that hotel 200 times. Terrible

It started with the check in. Poor service. Then when we got to the room we could not lower the temp even as we lowered the thermostat to 60. It stayed 75 degrees. Only one wash cloth and one hand towel. In the morning I addressed this with the front desk. They stated they would have maintenance look at the thermostat and have housekeeping bring more towels. Upon our return 8 hours later, nothing was done. Late that night after we left for dinner did they bring towels only after I made another request. The valet parking is a nightmare as well. No organization with it at all. I do not see us staying at another Hyatt

The room was great, spacious. The bar, breakfast was wonderful.

Room: we had a room with a leaking toilet. The bathroom floor was wet. When we called for assistance on the issue someone stopped by to check if it was fixable. The worker said we would have to change rooms. He leaves and then comes back with another son.

This is an excellent hotel. Very clean, well-maintained, excellent staff and service. Great food and coffee from the Lobbibar. We stayed in a King bed room on the 7th floor. Was super quiet except for hearing neighbors toilets flushing (industrial toilets). Walkable to the metro station. Would definitely stay here again.
