I was not happy when we had a late arrival and our television did not work and the front desks responded the televisions are glitchey

It was difficult to get someone on the phone. Then I was given wrong information about shuttle service. Rooms were excellent

I had originally reserved a room with 2 King beds at the Residence Inn. But we got moved to the Renaissance next door. With 2 full beds. I had 4 adults and would have been more comfortable with the 2 kings. But I think we were comped for the parking, so that was definitely helpful.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast provided was good. The restaurant was delicious. My only complaint is the carpet needed to be vacuumed in the hallways. Overall a very experience and would stay there again.

Upon arrival, i found Expedia had mucked up the reservation. The front desk staff said not to worry, they would figure it out and gave us rooms in the meantime. Walkable neighborhood with multiple food options. Five minute ride to DCA.

It’s an okay place to stay.

This stay did not start well as we found used towels and wash cloths in our room. My wife was in the shower when she found them which was very disturbing for her. Secondly, I notified housekeeping and the front desk that we would be out most of Saturday and we would like housekeeping to change the linens while we were gone. Noone came. When we got back, I notified them again while we went out for dinner. Again noone came. This was very disappointing. As a Bonvoy member and having family in the area, I've stayed at this Residence Inn over 10 times. However, the service and quality of my last two visits has become a nuisance. I gave them a pass on the last visit, assuming this was just a one time occurrence. This visit was more of the same. As prices continue to increase and quality continues to decrease, it seems to be time to explore other options. This is unfortunate because this was my favorite hotel at one point.

The only downside is that the airport shuttle only runs from 5 am - 11 pm, taking around 30 minutes per loop, so if you have a very early or late flight you can't take advantage of it, and you can wait a long time for the shuttle to arrive.

There was water on the bathroom floor when we arrived. Reported the problem. Maintenance came and check for leaks. Housekeeping came to clean it up.

Residence Inn is such a great hotel especially for the value. The staff was friendly, especially Ramone. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is clean and in a peaceful location. Near enough to shops & stores plus a great mall. I’ve stayed here 5 times thus far and the only thing I don’t like is the breakfast. They could do better on choices and flavor, but I still recommend this location.

Our stay was very pleasant! Ramon, the operations manager, treated us like family! My family had a great experience, thank you again.

This is our go-to place when visiting DC. The Crystal City Metro stop is convenient, the hotels provides shuttles to the Metro and DCA, and the surrounding area is nice. The room set-ups with a kitchenette is also incredibly helpful.

We loved the room for 4 adults. Great kitchen area and bathroom area and 2 king size beds were comfortable. Staff very professional and helpful.

What a beautiful location, comfortable room and nice breakfast bar which was included with our stay. The only reason I have a 4 out of 5 stars was the price. We stayed only to be close to the airport after my daughter had spinal cord surgery to cut down on travel time the day of our flights (we had been in Largo MD almost 3 weeks). It was a comfortable room, but overpriced.

The sheets were disgusting. I pulled down the covers and there looked to be poop stains. The staff was apologized and had the sheets changed. The TV did not work well, The HVAC unit made a loud bang sound every time it stopped running. The room was not that clean.

The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and clean Ava we like the full sized fridge. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times due to the location and comfortable rooms.

The breakfast was a wonderful variety of hot and cold choices, much more than the "continental" as stated. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very accommodating, as we arrived mid-morning and that got us into a room. There are multiple restaurants within a easy walk. The area was clean and felt very safe. The metro station is about a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel does have a shuttle to metro, but we enjoyed the walk so didn't use it.

The breakfast was so so. Sausage was spongy and the eggs were just okay. I was bummed I couldn't get coffee later in the day. Choose to grab a soda from the market, and was amazed with the cost...$5. The room itself was very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to food and coffee shops, although most coffee shops closed early. They offer a shuttle to the metro and the airport.

The only issue I faced was the hotel not having a pool as that is the only reason we booked this location. The website and pictures show pool available. Finding out at check in was an inconvenience.

TV would turn off by itself a lot it was annoying and there were so many kids in the hallways slamming doors, banging doors, and so loud.

Hotel was very clean and the close transportation options made it very easy to get around, I would stay here again. Very quiet as well, I could not hear traffic in the hallways or airplanes for being close to the airport.

Staff was great, continental breakfast was very good and the location to the convention I was attending was perfect.

The room/hotel seemed extraordinarily clean. My husband said the gym was one of the best in a hotel the garage was nice. I didn’t see a pool. The breakfast wasn’t impressive. I would definitely stay here again due to the cleanliness & the room size.

Our stay was last minute due to overnight flight delay. The only service utilized was the laundry. Was very glad to have that readily available.

This is the second time of staying in this hotel. I like it because it’s comfortable and quiet with quiet AC. Rooms are clean and the staff are very pleasant. Only issue is if the transmission of the smell of weed can be eliminated in any way as it smells so disgusting, but it permeates through the hallways and the ventilation systems. It happened during the stay, and unfortunately it’s pretty common these days. This is not specific to this hotel, but these days it’s a bit like wishing you could book a room on a non smoking, any kind of smoking floor.

The front desk guy on Sunday morning was so friendly. He answered our questions regarding the rental car and temporary parking, with interest and a pleasant attitude. He was dressed dabber too.

The breakfast was pretty good, though it was the same both mornings. A slight variety would have been nice. The staff were very attentive and kind, and quick to respond with any questions. The shuttle left a little to be desired. There's 1 shuttle every 30 minutes, and the guy stopped for 15 seconds so we missed the first shuttle leaving the airport. The shuttle to the airport was a different driver and was much kinder and helpful.

The front desk staff was very professional and helpful each time I interacted with them. My only "gripe" was that the linens and towels had the texture of sand paper. Nothing soft about them at all. But I would I stay here again? Yes!

Room was so comfortable. A little weird layout with having a guest on the couch, bathroom was tucked behind the king bed. Hotel was spotless. Bed was perfect. Breakfast was good and convenient. Parking was good, choose a room you can prepay, it’s cheaper. My only complaint was it was hard to find. Once you check in you have to turn around and get back to the parking garage.

Hotel is pretty good, although cleanliness was not as I would’ve expected for the price. The carpets in the hallway outside my bedroom were dirty and very stained. Gym was good. Had most machines one would expect aside from free weights. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special

The only thing we had issue with was noise from other rooms. We could hear yelling & laughter all night on one of the night. Then for all 4 nights we could hear loud bangs, we are thinking maybe people dropping weights on the floor. (We were couple doors down from fitness center. Other than that it was a great stsy

Nice place to stay a night in between flights. My only complaint is there really is nothing around. Also, while the shuttle service was welcome, the driver‘s choice of an all-Christian music station, whose announcers continually begged for dollars for Jesus, was not.

Rooms were uniquely laid out, like a square, but we liked it. It was clean and SUPER QUIET. I have never been in a quieter hotel, I ended up reading the hotel description closer and it talks about the sound proof rooms. They aren't kidding! Good hotel, we felt safe.

Amazing and easy for a family of 4 . We had groceries delivered from Walmart and we were able to take the hotel shuttle to and from airport and metro making this an easy trip for us ! We will be back

The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. The front desk employees were not there when I arrived. When I called the front desk for assistance twice, no one answered.

The lobby area was very nicely decoraded. Although they had a parking deck, i felt it was a little pricey and street parking is very limited. I'm glad I stayed a a weekend where parking was free.

The hotel was absolutely clean. I don’t think I saw anything to complain about on that end. The kitchen in the room was well equipped. Had a cute seating area with the television in front. Keep in mind, you may have to gently angle the flat screen to view from your bed (mounted to the wall but can be angled as mentioned). I will say the water from the faucet and shower was a bit “odd” in that it left your skin feeling like you still had soap on you and you needed to keep washing. I hope that makes some sort of sense. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A good variety of options (French toast, turkey sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, tea, coffee etc.) in a clean and organized area with seating surrounding it. They do have a snack area but I didn’t get anything after seeing that a bottle of water is $6. There are convenience stores all over- one pretty much down the street- go buy water/ drinks and snacks at one of them. Also- a short drive and you have tons of food options. The parking situation was a little confusing but again- the staff were so helpful which made things go smoother. It is $44/ night which is a bit pricey. Your room key card lets you in and out of the garage and when you finally leave- you use the key card and drop there. Overall- one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a while, if not the best. Very quiet and peaceful! The breakfast was amazing

The noise level in the hallway was extremely disturbing and interfered with our sleep. The walls must be very thin because i heard a dog barking constantly throughout the night. We also planned a night to watch Netflix, just to learn that it was down in the whole hotel. Not the best stay

This hotel is conveniently located near the DCA airport, but without the feel of being by an airport. It's super clean, well laid out and provides a high-quality, luxurious feel for a decent price. Most impressively The breakfast was fresh and dining areas were well maintained. The staff met all of our needs. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I WILL be back.

I recently stayed at your property during a family reunion and wanted to share feedback regarding some challenges I experienced during my visit. First, I’d like to recognize and thank your front desk host, Bo, who made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Her professionalism and friendliness stood out and set a great tone for our arrival. However, several issues with the room unfortunately impacted the overall quality of our stay: • The television and in-room phone were not functional during our entire stay. • Although an engineer did come to the room to attempt repairs, they were unable to resolve the issues. • The water pressure in the shower was also extremely low, which made it difficult to comfortably use. These issues were also unable to resolved by the engineer/maintenance made it challenging to fully enjoy our time at the hotel and communicate with staff when needed. Given these circumstances, I kindly request that you consider offering a courtesy or discount for a future stay at a Residence Inn location. I value the Marriott brand espically as a member and would appreciate the opportunity to enjoy the quality experience I know Marriot/Residence Inn typically provides. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

The location is great for the price. There is a small grocery and full size within walking distance. The beds are great. I have stayed here a few time and the front desk staff is phenomenal. Always so polite and helpful. Shuttle runs on time with some good drivers. If I ever come back to the area I will be staying here.

This was my 2nd time staying at Res Inn Arlington Capital View in the last month. It's my favorite hotel in DC area. Great location, super amenities and friendly staff. Recommended.

This it’s my favorite place to stay in Crystal City. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We love the location and close proximity to Metro and to Old Town Alexandria. And the FREE breakfast is awesome and plentiful. I have no complaints at all.

Amazing Trip

The whole experience was great except for one staffer in the kitchen/breakfast service who was so strict with the closing time towards a young person wanting to get to her mother who was inside the food area already to collect her plate of food. Later she would not even allow kids to access water with their breakfast after 9:30AM (on Monday) time had elapsed. It caused me a lot of discomfort at her level of meanness. I understand she has a job to do but she could have been a little more accommodating and not so rigid. This experience has heavily influenced my evaluation for staff and service aspect of this survey.

The Residence Inn was very roomy and comfortable. The shuttle to and from the airport was a helpful to begin and end our trip. The hourly trips to and from the transit station made travel to and from Washington DC convenient.

I booked this property as their website says pick available at Washington Union Amtrak station. On Sunday July 6th I contacted property to make sure I was being picked up. I wanted an hour at the train station to no avail. Tried calling property and no one was answering. Took Metro to DCA. I waited 2 hours. Called the property several times- Where is the airport shuttle. Other hotel shuttles stopped and commented how I was still standing. called the property to ask specifically what should I see on the van? ThRRenaissance

The description online says that the suite has a separate bedroom and the picture online shows that there’s doors in between but when we got there they said they were none of those left and gave us one room with two beds. I specifically picked this property and booked the suite online because it had a separate bedroom. They didn’t try to compensate me in anyway. I was very disappointed. I would not have stayed at this hotel if I knew I would just get one room with two beds.

Stayed for easy access to DC via metro and this hotel really brings the service in spades. They have shuttle to metro and airport. The best breakfast. Clean rooms. We loved the suite options with beds and kitchenette. I’d stay here again over staying anywhere in DC. Fantastic stay and hotel.

I arrived at the property a couple hours before check in after having been up since 3 am for a flight from Louisiana. I had to deal with a lost carry on that had been taken by another passenger by accident. When I got to the hotel I was more than frazzled! The check in lady saw my exhaustion and offered to upgrade me so I could get an immediate check in. It was so appreciated! I was able to settle down and rest comfortably before going to see a bit of the area and look for dinner. Breakfast was amazing and varied greatly.

We joined our daughter and grand children while our daughter was at a conference. The staff was helpful in assigning a room near the daughter and two toddlers. The breakfast room was also perfect for the family. Public transportation to DC was possible if one did not mind a short bus ride to the Crystal City Metro. Beats sitting in traffic. There was a nice toddler friendly park a few blocks away.

While our stay at the residence inn was fine, I did find the noise in the hallways to be a bit excessive. The doors to each room close very loudly, even if you are trying to close them carefully and quietly

Our 6-year-old raved about how much he loved this hotel! Breakfast had fabulous options and plenty of space to relax and eat. Staff was welcoming and kind, our luggage was delivered by the airline after they lost it, and she asked questions to verify that it was ours. Parking was worth the money after all. Our son still says how much he loved the room and how comfy his bed was!

They were helpful and engaging, quick to assist and offer really useful information. The staff really made our stay awesome. The location is great - out of the SC crowds but close enough to quickly get to all the sight seeing. The complimentary shuttle was incredibly convenient and ran on time. It was just a really wonderful stay all around. Also, the pillows are MAGNIFICENT.
