Extended Stay America Select Suites Denver Aurora South

I've stayed at other Extended Stay locations in the past that I would return to. Can't say that about this location. Room was tired, and smelled like smoke (even though it was non-smoking), had cigarette burns on the counter top, and stains in the bathtub. Door locks had seen better days, and there was graffiti on the exterior stairs. Staff was very helpful when I arrived after the office had closed, but 10 PM seems really early for a check-in desk to close, and I had to call on an outside phone that went directly to their corporate line to get someone to come back to the office. Bed was comfortable and room had hot water.

The sheets had hair and stains. The room smelled heavily of cigarettes. The shower was not clean and we were only provided a small bar soap. We were not told there was a phone outside the office for after hours.

there were roaches everywhere big ones small ones and the office gave us roach traps it caught some of them but it never slowed down the roach quantity we were still going to stay there though because we needed a place for a lunch today but you wasn't even able to extend our stay I'm not going because they were renovating or whatever reason but it was pretty bad the staff was kind thou smdh at one point we even had brown water come out of the faucet in the tubs we had to rerun bath & water several times. whoever started staying the next room over from us for the last four nights they started blasting loud music thankfully it did not wake my babies

The AC was so loud; squeaking and clicking. The fridge sounded like it was trying to go to space. Luckily, I had a neighbor that was screaming for most of the night, so I was distracted from the noise in my own room. This place is ridiculous. Keep scrolling. You're welcome.

It is old, dents in the door, bed is spongy and couldn't turn the tv off without unplugging it. The couch smelled and it was not a good experience at all. I didn't complain to the front desk or try to transfer rooms as I was really tired.

I felt the staff was rude every time I needed anything they tried to charge me just to get clean towels or even charge me just to make a phone call out of the room phone all I just wasn't very impressed with the staff or the service that we got as a former employee from that hotel it sucks that to see it just go downhill so far

The staff there are super nice and courteous. They take care of me whenever I stay there. Thanks guys.

1) that I could cook dinner for my kids 2) there was so plenty of room for us. Well, there was no cookware or dishes available. Then the bed was a full not a queen. the pull out couch was so disgusting that my daughter sleep on the couch after we disinfected just to be safe. The floor was dirty, so was the bath tub. There’s a sign of this multi clean steps that I’m sure is just for legalities because there’s no way that room was “cleaned” ands someone thought they dos a good job on it. Maybe some housekeeping training is in order. to be safe.

booked the room on hotels.com app then showed up at the hotel 20 minutes later to find out they had no rooms available and have not received a refund.

The staff at the front are very kind and courteous. They made me and my fiance feel really comfortable and safe. Thanks guys, look forward to seeing you guys soon.

The parking area was okay the staff was okay but the room itself was a horrible condition the toilet didn't flush correctly the shower was spraying all over the ceiling the tub was cracking the floor was uneven the refrigerator wasn't the cleanest they advertised breakfast that wasn't there vending is not where they said it would be on the advertisement overall I didn't like the room

One very unique factor to this extended stays is it was well kept up, and had a very friendly and prompt response times.

Decent for the price

The room stunk of cigarettes, made it hard to sleep. The room is very old and falling apart. There was no hot water. Check innwas reallybeasy and the employee was really nice. There wasn't anyone there during check out and no wherr to place the room keys so i just left.

And since this is extended stay, why not at least offer two paper plates and plastic silverware free?

First room smelt like smoke even though its no smoking inside, second room remote and toilet didn’t work, unprepared. Would not recommend!!

I had to keep going to the front desk because my key wouldn't work. I found bugs on the bed. They had dry pee marks on the walls. Sink was dirty the sink assembly was out of place. Dry blood on the blankets. I had to go to Walmart to buy me and my daughter clothes and blankets.

The floor was filthy, our feet or socks were black by end of day. There were two holes in the bathroom door, one on each side, that had been attempted to be repaired but were still there. There was hair on the wall in the bathroom. The tub had a rusty hole in it at the drain. The tub didn't drain and you were standing in water within 2 minutes of turning on the shower. The shower head leaked a spray of water onto the wall. There was mold under the kitchen sink. We had a room with a bed and fold out couch. The bed had a hole wallowed out like someone had slept in that same spot for 2 years. The pull out couch was up against the AC and thus wouldn't fold out. The drawers in every dresser/nightstand would NOT stay closed. There is no coffee pot in the room. We booked the room for 4 guests - there was exactly two towels provided and 2 washrags on the sink, both of which were stained. The outside - there was so much dog poop everywhere in the rocky areas - there was no landscaping. We were on the second floor and there are no elevators, we were not notified of this beforehand. When in the room, when someone walked across the floor, the whole floor shook. The hotel is pet friendly, but this meant that the German Shepherd below us barked ALL DAY LONG non stop. The hotel says they charge for linen service, but if you trade in the towels you have, they didn't charge. There is a laundromat on site but no laundry soap to purchase. The only good thing was the AC blew very cold.

It was horrible because the sold my room to someone else and they still charged me which is ridiculous. And we weren’t the only people this happened to.

You need to remove this hotel from your list. The description of the property and what they offered was completely false. We arrived at 10:45 pm and had to call the hotel operator and stood outside for about 15 for an attendant to show up and help us. While waiting, homeless all over and tweeters walking through the hotel lot. The hotel said it was smoke free…smoke is all you could smell in the room… burn marks on the bathroom counter and kitchen. There were holes in the shower and it was unusable. We tried to cancel and no one would meet me or help me from the property. It was just my son and I and I slept with a hand gun u see my pillow all night!!! Remove this option immediately.

Very outdated and rundown facility. Not clean and smells of smoke. Had to locate staff anytime we needed something. Also had to leave early due to a fire in the building. Only four doors down from our room. Theyrefused to refund the 2nd night due to having to leave because of fire. They said it was past checkout so they wouldn’t refund, and it was only 3 pm.

Half of the outlets in the room didn't work, the a/c didn't work, the floor was dirty, and the towels in the bathroom were dirty. It just was not pleasant at all. There for 2 nights for an anniversary suprise because it has a kitchen. Even paid for the best room they have and still disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel room was not cleaned properly. I was itchy and uncomfortable my whole stay. This hotel is very much just a motel.

Stayed for less than 10 minutes and left immediately. Disgusting. Smelled like smoke. Loud music. Lots of late night traffic. Would not recommend.

The service was amazing. The lady that checked me in was more than amazing. I wish I could give the whole experience 5 stars. My biggest issues were with the cleanliness of the room. The floor was dusty and dirty when I came into the room. The bathtub also had hair before I got to use it.

Inexpensive property in a very expensive area. When we pulled into the lot many street people hanging around the property. Front desk attendant very friendly but obviously friends with all these people. I had paid for the room so I ran up to check. Smelled of cigarettes,TV was on like someone had been hanging out in the room was pretty dingy and torn up. Went back to the front desk and said the room was unacceptable. Girl did not say a word except that my money was being refunded. After we left we saw her going into room with another homeless person. Obviously a voucher situation but needs to be handled much better in the property needs serious updating. Also I looked on a different site and saw it for $40 less than I originally paid. I have not seen my refund yet, will deal with corporate if it doesn't come through soon.

The room I stayed in had a really intense odd smell, I couldnt tell if it was cigarettes or what the heck it was but it really bothered me. I know for a fact the bathroom was not cleaned it was just disgusting the shower had hairs multiple hairs and splats of what i dont know i didnt even use it because it was so disgusting. The floors were nasty as hell because when i turned on the lights i didnt even have to bend down to see they had like spills and dirt on them. Like not even a sweep or half ass mop was done nothing was done. I will never stay here again it was disgusting and dirty i didnt feel comforable and even questioned if the room was clean, and bed was clean. Ill sleep in my car before staying here again.

Too much late night street activity. The rooms were dirty from previous bookings and there was no sheets or bedding or clean pillow cases.

Room was infested with bugs. After 20 minutes of being in the room I left for a better hotel. Horrible room.

I normally absolutely love this property and stay here all the time. However being as i work from home or wherever i am having horrible Wi-Fi causes me issues. Room 366 has the absolute worst internet connection ever. I had to stand in a corbee to not only use the phone but my laptop as well. Please have this issue fixed.

My fiance and I stay at this property all the time. Its close to my Mom's house which makes it convenient. Plus the staff is amazing.

Booked through expedia late at night due to traveling, however it was not stated before booking that the hotel didnt allow checkin after a certain time. Had to sleep in the car. I contacted expedia and they said they could not provide a refund. I womt be using expedia any further as i feel they could have provided something for it not being listed before i booked

Other than finding a roach in my room things were fine. I believe that a later check out for guests who have stayed more than 1night should be longer than 15 minutes

A man tried to come into my room while I was sleeping. After I already spoke with the front desk and the cleaning staff about me extending my stay for a night. The room smelled like smoke, it really gave an uppity motel vibe if I can be frank. Tub had dirt all in it there were burn holes in the sheets and curtains just not a good experience

This site is more like an apartment complex. There seems to be quite a few longterm residents. There is a fridge, microwave & cook top. Room had been smoked in. No utensils or pots and pans but they are available. Not really a place for kids.

The property is old and fairly worn out. Not the world’s cleanest. However the office staff was phenomenal and helpful.

Roaches were everywhere in room. Had to kill 4 throughout the night and 1 crawled across the bed and my other guests staph infected leg. Very disrespectful manager and put us in danger at checkout by trying to force us out of our room 10 minutes early when there had been 3 people standing right outside our door for over an hour. Called our room at 9:00 AM asking if we were staying another night? Banged on our door very loudly at 10:00 AM and then again at 10:40. Extremely disappointed because I had a somewhat decent experience last time I was here but will be requesting a refund for this stay because of the way we were treated and the extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manager who tried to facilitate us being robbed with nothing but purposeful detriment and malice. Had we not had our friends come get us, there is no doubt serious harm would have befell me and my guest.

I hate stayed here several times but not in the back building. There is a lot of activity at night time, homeless people, people buting drugs, the room was not as clean or nice as the other rooms, i was slightly disappointed, the room stunk when we got there it was just not the best experience this time which is unfortunate.

It’s exactly what you need no bells and whistles but in the middle of everything and convenient, decent nothing fancy .

The place had bugs in the bathtub which is disturbing to me. I cant fathom why i qould pay such prices for a terrible place. I should have taken pictures to show building inspectors... bathroom caulking was gross. The old caulking was not taken off and applied new caulking. Cabinets were missing finishing pieces exposing innards of the wood. Two hotels booked within one week and i dont think ill use hotels .com anymore bec of the poor selections you have

Specifically booked this hotel because Expedia said it was pet friendly. Checked everywhere on Expedia site about extra fees, said nothing about a pet fee being an additional charge. So I booked and paid online and then when I showed up to the hotel was told there’s an additional charge every night for a pet. Had I known that I would’ve booked somewhere else. Should be more upfront about the additional pet fees.

Got checked into a room and it absolutely stunk of cigarettes. They didn’t have any other rooms available so I had to check out and get a refund.

All I would say is, don’t be cheap staying here. They say no smoking but our room smell like somebody smoke a pack of cigarettes right b4 we came. ZERO HOT WATER IN SHOWER! Domestic violence going on right outside the office. Just stay somewhere else if you can afford it.

Bree was absolutely amazing

The room was dirty the wash cloths in the bathroom were supposed to be white but mine looked like they were used to was a gar so they were dingy and gross. The bathroom had mold around the tub the floors needed to be mopped. The hard was like sleeping on a stack of cardboard. I wanted a non smoking room but the room smelt of cigarettes. The furniture in the room was all split and cracked. I could have stayed across the street for $10 more than what I paid for this room but I was hoping for a quick in and out. This room in its condition should be no more than $29 a night. I guess I learned my lesson even if I’m just there for the sleep spend the extra money to stay in a place that reflects who I am and I’m most definitely not homeless. I’m sure the guy camped in the bushes had a better night sleep than I did.

The morning staff is not friendly at all. I do not like your policy about paying early. Extra 10.00. No matter what when paying for additional day. The option is check out and come back after 300pm. Then you have to change rooms and pack your things, start all over again the next day. They want to scam you out of your money other extended says do not do that.

We booked a no smoking room, and after arriving in the room, realized that, even though the sign said no smoking in the room, reeked of cigarette smoke. The rooms are fairly rundown, there are a lot of homeless people living full-time in this hotel, and they are very noisy at night partying, and making all kinds of noise. I would never stay in this hotel.

They need to keep up their property better and stop nickle and dining guests. Trying to charge $10 for extending their stay in the same room? Trying to charge for clean towels? Housekeeping was nice and Andrea was vert nice at the front desk. This is on the owners. Fix your damaged rooms and stop treating paying customers like your doing us a favor by stayig here.

We found a cockroach in the bathroom so we decided to leave early and no one was at the front desk. We had no where to leave the key. The room next to ours looked like it had been broken into and over all we just felt very gross and unsafe after this visit.

Property manager made me wait a hour to check in and made me miss an appointment I had to get ready for. When asked to be compensated was told the 800# took care of that. When called them, was told the on site manager took care of it. Was told by both call center and manager I would get a call resolving matter and never did

The room was disgusting the microwave was not in the wall it was on the table I had dirty towels no washcloths when I pulled the sheets back there was blood stains on the sheets that you could tell is from previous use I called the manager they said that they were going to come and change the sheets they never did I called back no answer I had to sleep in there on top of the blankets I couldn't stay warm the heater was making a loud noise and it blew out cold air it was a horrible night

It is right off the highway so it is easily accessible. Parking is right outside of the door. The light rail is right next to it. Thank you.

They made us leave because they saw something in the trash can ! Besides that it was a good trip ?
