Breakfast, location, staffs. Bathroom started smelling from 2nd day of our Stay and it never went away. Though staffs asked if we wanted to change the room but that was not feasible for just a 3 days stay

Pool was not clean and room was not that clean and hallways were dirty.

The housekeeping staff is amazing and hardworking, and the amenities are wonderful. Maintenance was also very attentive and helped us with our TV, which we truly appreciated. The only problem with my stay was on Saturday when we went to enjoy the pool area and hot tub. Unfortunately, there was a huge crowd from a party outside, and people who were not staying at the hotel welcomed themselves into the pool and hot tub area. There were no adults watching the kids. The children were running around wildly, using water guns, and spraying other people and kids around them. The kids were entering through the emergency entrance, which was strange because the alarm never sounded. They were able to come in and out through the pool and the back wing without a key card. Cars were also parked by the basketball court, and it was clear they were visitors who were not staying at the hotel. After that experience, we gave up on using the amenities because the area remained chaotic until the day we departed.

Great breakfast and great stay

3 adults and 2 kids booked for 3 nights in the 2 queen bedroom suite. The room was in rough condition. Hole in the wall by the kitchen table, sofa bed cushions were really worn down and sunken in, marks all on the walls, bathroom tub in terrible condition, stains on the walls in the bathroom, and the sheets and towels were stained. I've never stayed in a Hilton in this condition. Breakfast had a huge selection, but be warned on the weekends it goes fast. Staff does replenish the items but it takes awhile. And the choices on Fri were more than on Sat/Sun. House keeping "cleaned" our room on Saturday. Made the beds, restocked the towels, took out the trash from the 2 cans. That was it. They didn't take all the towels on the floor, wipe anything down, vacuum, or take out the other trash in bags, give us a new hand soap, or restock the coffee cups. 5 people in this room was a lot, we could have benefited from a bit more cleaning. The pool area was empty, but tidy when we went. Hot tub was extremely foamy when it was on. The temperatures of both weren't too bad. The breakfast area has a huge seating selection that at night fills up with a ton of people. It was night to have our group sitting there to gather and talk. AC in the room worked. And the outside noise wasn't too bad. All in all our stay wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't book it again.

During check in we were supposed to get two rooms by each other but did not initially. Eventually went up with my stuff and was greeted by a woman who was still checked in and said my name popped up on her screen and I had to take my stuff back downstairs and wait a bit. One of two rooms we eventually got came with a sticky floor and not enough towels. One of two rooms smelled strongly of cleaning fluid and the 2nd floor smelled like Asian food. Pool was small and the water pools around it. Pool and hot tub water are warm/hot. For about an hour not enough towels by pool Area was very loud and someone stole my son's toy Rooms were mostly fine after check in snafoo Breakfast was good and had two waffle makers Not a lotmof fruit Coffee was also above average Checkout at noon which was good There was a basketball court as well

It was close to everything we needed, great breakfast, and all the amenities was great. The only problem I had was one of our key cards didn’t work for our room door and the pool door.

Best hotel ive stayed in Aurora so far, I loved it

Room was pretty clean, the property was pretty well maintained. The hot tub was out of order for our entire stay, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Outside isn't clean but parking is safe

Breakfast was decent. Check in and out was easy. Hallways were dirty. Building lacks general maintenance and upkeep.

Great room.

They say they upgraded our room from a king bed to 2 queen bed suite. Refused to give us our points because booked through Expedia and told us we would have paid 25% less if booked directly through them. The air conditioner didn’t catch up to 68 degrees, we had to open windows. Didn’t get our room refreshed on day the said because we didn’t remove the do not disturb off the night before. When I called to complain there was nothing they could do. More than likely I will not stay with Hilton again.

I have been taking my family to Homewood for the amenities, however the two trips we have taken the hot tub doesn't work at all! The room I stayed in rm#102, the sink garbage disposal didn't work and the microwave handle broken, and microwave fan top kept coming off, every-time we heated something. Front desk was notified and stated they would notify Maintenance to come to the room at 10:00am, however no one came. We stayed a couple of days the Thanksgiving weekend.

Water pressure was very weak coming out of the bathroom faucet! Not much of a problem, but learning to watch the TV with the remotes took awhile to figure out!

The property was very nice. Staff were excellent. Loved the pond. My hubby and I sat and had a glass of wine by the pond. We will definitely be back when in the area.

I thought the room was nice, and the amenities (pool and breakfast) were very good. I felt like there were some details of the property that were not as well maintained, such as garbage bags left in front of rooms for the entire evening and morning of our stay, which then caused a weird smell in the hallway. There were spots on the wall in our room that just made the room seem unclean. There were clumps of hair on the floor near the pool, and it again just made the property seem unclean.

Clean room and Family Friendly

I truly enjoyed my stay! I check in on a Wednesday night and the hotel had a social hour which offered guest complimentary beer, wine, salad bar and entree. The staff was truly accommodating and very knowledgeable on the area. I will be back again!!!

Property was quiet, clean, and friendly. However you definitely want to replace the mattress and pillows. It felt like laying on a wood plank with a ziploc bag with jello as a pillow. Breakfast was decent but if youre staying for more than a night, go buy pillows and a mattress topper.

My daughter and I checked in on a Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning we went down for breakfast and in the hallway just across from the elevator doors there was some kitty litter on the ground on the carpet and the tile in front of the elevators. We left on Sunday afternoon and the kitty litter was still there the whole time.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Love this hotel.

Pool and hot tub were great nobody around that area! It was not quiet at night people running up and down halls, hollering. When we first arrived you could smell smoke as you walked down the hall to our room. We complained and the staff resolved that problem. We were upgraded to a different room for some reason but it was not an upgrade to us the room I reserved had a shower for our convenience and the room they upgraded us to had a tub. We are impartial to how we feel about stay some good some bad but I would recommend this hotel to others!

I really enjoy coming here always quiet compared to other hotels. This time I got to enjoy the hot tub and pool . Awesome! Breakfast was great. This time I enjoyed some extras. Orange water was amazing at the door also used the tea maker in my room. Only down side. I was the room above the front entrance. I could hears doors opening and closing none stop through out my stay. Of all the things that just one small thing compared to the enjoyment I always have at this hotel. Hope to see you next time. Just not that room..

Everyone was very polite. The room was clean, and i enjoyed the area around the hotel for walking. The only issue i had was no hot water in the morning on the second day.

One AC unit for living room and bedroom. To make it cool in the living room, it made it freezing in the bedroom. And the AC in the bedroom, air flow, was directed at the beds. Overall room was clean except for a chocolate wrapper on the floor when we walked in and tons of black smudges all over the doors that I easily cleaned off.

Also, while eating the complimentary breakfast, I overheard a member of the kitchen staff ask their kitchen manager why he had not put the fresh fruit out for the hotel guests. The employee said she knew guests liked the fresh fruit. The manager said he was told it was okay to serve the older fruit instead. Soon after that, the manager came out among the guests and proceeded to pet someone’s service dog WITH HIS BARE HANDS! Another hotel guest and I looked at each other and asked me, “Did you just see that?” We chose to not eat at the hotel the following morning. For the price we paid for this hotel, we felt it was very overpriced based on our experience. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Very nice extended stay hotel. Kitchenette was functional and bathroom shower was exceptional. King sized bed very comfortable. Great selection daily with the free continental breakfast. Very clean rooms and halls. Friendly and responsive staff. Nice walking trails. Close to restaurants and quick jaunt to downtown Chicago by train. Considering all the families with children the hotel rooms were very quiet.

Great area and even better hotel. Nice breakfast area and we were able to host a potluck in the lobby area for our volleyball team.

I did not spend much time there, but what time I was there was very nice and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, beds were comfortable, shower was hot and the room was very clean. My only complaints were I could not get the shower head to be more direct instead of a spray pattern and the breakfast was very basic continental. Regardless I would still give it a 5/5.

have one complaint. The bathroom was weirdly designed. You couldn’t have a floor mat down and open the bathroom door, which meant you had to shower with the door closed and there wasn’t a fan. That’s because there was only the width of the toilet between the sliding glass shower door and the door (which opened in, hence the inability to lay a towel down to step out of the shower onto), so there was also no space for a trash can, so have fun holding your period supplies while you finish up. Just an awkward architectural choice that I didn’t love but isn’t anyone’s fault except maybe the obviously male owners who seem to think the bathroom is the place to skimp out on. Otherwise a fine hotel. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The mattress was on the soft side of the divide. Everyone working was kind and professional.

Our room smelled so bad when we got in, as if vents were caked in oil from someone trying to cook in the tiny kitchenette . the halls stunk too we couldnt even go nose-blind to it. The room was worn down . Breakfast was nice. Pool was old & worn out & cold. Hot tub was barely bubbling and barely "hot".

I've stayed here before in the past and have loved it every time. It's hidden enough that it's quiet but close enough to stores and restaurants too. Everything is always so clean too and the staff is always so friendly.

You could tell this hotel was going to be great from the moment we arrived. The hotel smelled clean upon walking in. The gentleman checking us in was very nice and we were given complimentary waters. The room nice and cool when we walked in and everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a nice kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, microwave, small stove, and dishes. The next morning there was a nice selection for breakfast which included, sausage, hashbrowns, omelets, french toast sticks, fresh fruit and several other items. We have stayed at several hotels in the area, and this one by far was the best we have stayed at in a long time. We will definitely be back.

I really like this hotel because it is very quiet and I love the kitchen area. Was able to iron my shirts and cook some dinner. I was highly upset about the pool and hot tub out. The main reason I booked. I was given some options in return for in incovience but it was too little to late. I was able to figure out a way to enjoy a pool with out messing up my plans. If you want a quiet hotel stay this is the place. I wish they had more rooms with Tubs. I tried to order one but because of the outage and me checking in early I got a shower. But the view from my room was beautiful. I will probably go elsewhere next year too many problems with the pool and hot tub here.

The stay great breakfast was slightly different everyday. The room was amazing.

To the management - please shut down the basketball courts at a reasonable time. People were still playing at 11:30, and I suspect they would have continued playing had it not begun to rain. It you want to ensure quiet at a reasaonable time, be sure to ask for a room on the front side of the hotel.

We were very happy with our stay. Staff was courteous and great to work with.

Property was fine but needs updating. Housekeeping was spotty-only coming once during a 7 day stay.

The property is beautiful, especially with the lake adjacent with the walking path. 247 coffee, tea and fruit infused water is also a bonus. The best part was Don, who let me check in early because my time was tight for a wedding I needed to get to. I am SO grateful for that!! Overall….10/10!!!

We found dirty handprints, cobwebs, torn curtains, literal gum stuck to the wall, beat up furniture, a shower curtain that barely skimmed the surface of the tub, etc. Hilton, You can do better! Spend the money to refurbish. Management did offer to send maid service up but this was so much more than just simple housekeeping.

It was nice. Our tv cable didn’t work well…after 10 mins on any channel it would freeze. Lots of smokers hanging around outside the entrance and some of the cars parked in handicapped did not have a sign- I was 3 weeks out from knee surgery. Would have been helpful to have a spot.

They said I couldn’t have the room I booked because they were overbooked!! Not so nice about it. Made it seem like my fault. Pool was nasty. 2 of our girls got rashes from it!!

The property was pretty average and the location was nice for our purposes. That said, the beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. The couch in the suite needed to be replaced - old with no structure to the cushions. The bathroom was very dirty in the corners like it had never been more than stiffened.

Room was clean. The only staff I encountered was at check in. She seemed ok. She wasn't rude but made sure everyone understood the rules.

We had issues with our second day reservation. Expedia did not enter it correctly, so there was no room for us the second day.

The lady at the front desk was really friendly and they gave out bottles of water which is really nice and needed. I like the overall layout of the rooms which would be perfect for longer stays. There was a toilet plumbing issue but I basically ignored it. Cleanliness is probably the biggest issue. The halls had crumbs in them. Some cereal on the floor. The rooms could use a little updating. Not sure all areas of the rooms are being cleaned. I liked the personalized message on the tv.

I was a bit disappointment that the pool and hot tub were closed, it's my fault that I didn't see it was closed, but they said it has been closed since november and I don't see why an inside pool and hot tub has been closed for that long. Other than that the place was clean and staff was nice.

Parking lot was always full. Finding parking was difficult. I called for housekeeping, to exchange dirty towels, they took the dirty stuff and never brought the clean towels. Trash was found in front of my door, and I called the front desk, they said they were going to remove it but upon check out, it was still there. Lots of parties on the weekends. The suite was smaller than expected but the shower was nice. The stove was covered with rust. I will pass on this one next time.

I would want to warn anyone with sensitivity to strong smells that the hotel infuses something into their common areas. It kind of smelled like lavender but was very strong. I typically do not have sensitivity to smells, but this was really strong. Seemed to just be in common areas as I did not notice it as much in our room.
