Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location near the inner harbor and various attractions. However, some guests were disappointed with the extra fees for parking and incidentals, as well as the lack of certain amenities like a pool on the property and a bar nearby.

Upon arrival customer service was great. At the front counter was the amazing service rep by the name of Meta. She was very hospitable. Made check in very quick and easy. Breakfast was great. Not crowded. I stayed for 2 days and definitely will be back..

The hotel needs to be updated.

Close to the concert venue. That’s about it.

Breakfast was good. In house restaurant was very good. Unfortunate that parking is an additional cost. Location was good. Nice view, walking distance to everything. Overall good experience.
- 5/5
It is definitely an older hotel but so clean and the staff was amazing!
- 3/5
Walked in no air conditioning in lobby. Elevator being used by staff do needed someone to allow people to use. Breakfast for $20 was a joke. Not even worth $5

There are no amenities at this hotel. But it’s a good place to rest.

20 minutes in line to check in. Poorly working air conditioning. Otherwise, beautiful view of the harbor.
- 3/5
The actual room was quite large and had lots of storage. The mini-fridge was great to have and I very much appreciated a lighted, magnifying makeup mirror. Albeit noisy, I did enjoy an ac that cooled well. However, the towels were super thin and scratchy; the sheets were scratchy as well. While I liked the large mirror with a light surrounding it in the bathroom, half of it was burned out.The halls and lobby had a large fan going, I assume because the ac was either broken or unable to keep up with the area as it was quite warm. Overall, I probably would not choose to stay here again with other options so close by. Not horrible, but not what I anticipated.

We were in the city to attend a concert at Pier 6. We chose Pier 5 hotel because it was right next to Pier 6. Upon arrival, air conditioning on the lobby floor was not working. Main elevator was also broken forcing us to use stairs or service elevator. Stairwell was dirty. Carpet was filthy and not tacked down on many of the steps in the stairwell.
- 5/5
Did not need parking, but breakfast was great and the service was excellent... didn't mind paying for toys when other places offer it as complimentary.
- 3/5
The location was great and walking distant to so many restaurants. Loved the ice cream truck out front. It needs a few updates like the stairs carpet was dirty. In the bathroom the shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner smell awful. We walked to CVS and brought some.
- 5/5
Love the location. Staff is friendly. Room is nice. The decor is warm. 2 great restaurants is on sight. Can't wait to come back.
- 1/5
this property is the worst. horrible customer service. we had tickets to a concert next door to the hotel. the concert was cancelled 24 hours prior to the show. we had a saturday check in and i contacted them early friday afternoon, and this staff did not have the decency to refund us our money because it was not cancelled 48 hours prior. this is 2026, give the customer a deserved break. will never stay at this hotel again.

Location was the key selling point and did not disappoint. Beds were adequate. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Lots to do nearby. Parking was not comp'd (which was a disappointment). TV stations were limited to barely basic cable. Tv as above. Parking fees were a surprise - not used to paying for parking at a hotel.

Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect for me in getting to Johns Hopkins Hospital several times a day. The restaurant and bar staff were amazing! I've been staying there so much they all know me and show much concern for my current situation. Just wish they provided free parking. The hotel expense is enough for me, not to mention meals, gas, etc.

A WONDERFUL 2 DAY STAY AT BALTIMORE'S INNER HARBOR!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Clean safe and comfortable. The two restaurants were a bonus. Self parking right next door. Michaela at the front desk was excellent. She made sure everything was perfect for us. My husband was having trouble walking. She got a wheel chair and wheeled him to our room. She made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Accessible included parking is nice, rooms are nice, location perfect.
- 2/5
It needs to be imploded. There doesn't look as though there have been any updates in about 20 years. The in-house restaurant is a gathering place for degenerate Sports gamblers. This used to be a very nice hotel. It could be again but the owners need to invest some money in serious upgrades. It is cheaper than the other hotels around it. But once you get inside you understand why
- 4/5
For the room cost and price reasonable. Cost of self park a bit pricey. Need to be more specific on website for parking. Overall cleanliness of room and facility good but some minor maintenance and upgrades in rooms could be given attention. Location very good. Overall satisfied and would recommend to others.

- 4/5
Location was incredible. Staff was pleasant and professional, dining choices superb. Slider door needs adjusting, let's in bugs even when closed. The rooms could use one of those plugin bug killers, literally two dozen bugs or more. Oh and the King bed clearly had a Queen fitted sheet, it would pop off two corners when even sitting gently on the bed

The person that handle my booking was wonderful Kayla. And the breakfast was so good. For a last minute booking. It was okay just the bathroom tub have a stain but the drain like it was a fire before. Then they was working on our room. Not the mention you have to pay extra if you want to come early to check in. So before 12pm you pay $75 after 12pm you pay $45 and before 3pm you pay $40 check in time is 4pm which I'm like damn that's your whole day right there.

The staff was excellent. Everything was really clean. The location couldn’t have been better. The only things that were even a little off was the parking situation and also they must have purchased it recently because the old name was still on a couple places like the glass doors, so after a long trip and being tired it was a little confusing. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in king room at the beginning of our trip and then when we returned 2 weeks later we were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful and unexpected. Rooms are very quite and bed/pillows were comfortable. Location was perfect for wandering around the harbour area. We felt safe at all times, It was nice to have breakfast available in the hotel but we found it a bit pricy.

I saw that it had an 80's vibe and I was fine with that. But.. You have to have the person at the desk call the elevator to go up. The nice balcony was dated and gard metal chairs with no cushions only goes so far for enjoyment. The very small fridge had no freezer section and was barely cold. One roll of toilet paper in the room. An adjoining room??. They serve a hot breakfast but could not give a guest a glass to take upstairs (so much for wine on the deck). Website has happy hour Mon-Fri but I guess the do not do that on Mon and Tuesday. There was a weird night stand that would bot stay closed so the drawer was always open with a bible in it. Never been in a hotel that only gave 3 pillows on the bed, no extras in the closet no extra blankets either. Doing the bare minimum. Not worth the money.

Location is convenient to the attractions of the Inner Harbor and the room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. On the other hand, the elevators and Internet did not work well at times and the ownership / management philosophy here seems to be "do as little as possible / spend as little as possible." There is serious deferred maintenance as evidenced by rotting wooden exterior trim and peeling paint. Our bathtub had a significant drip that had obviously been going on a long time as the bathtub was stained. The breakfast could have been nice, except food choices were limited and food was not restocked on a timely basis. (It seemed that a certain quantity of bacon and sausage was cooked each morning and when that was gone, there was none available for people eating later.) Overall, we made the best of our three night stay, but would probably not return until we were sure of a better maintained place with a caring management and staff. We do not recommend this place at this time!

Super convenient location at Inner Harbor. Very walkable. Spacious rooms, ac works well. Slightly dated but nothing terrible. Beds are okay but could be slightly softer. Rooms are fairly quiet except the door to each of the rooms slam. Bathroom light wouldn’t come on unless you turned the bathroom fan on. Not ideal in the middle of the night. Elevators are a little slow but I like that you need a room key to use them. No sign of valet parking attendants but lot is not far. Will definitely be back.

Everything was great including the proximity and the price housekeeping was wonderful and there were always fresh towels and a new bottle of water daily. The check-in process was great and the staff were very helpful. The room has anything that you need. My only complaint was the breakfast. :). It was priced well, but not run very well. Just some improvements would be to have a much better beverage station available that was easier to access including water, but the eggs were delicious.
- 4/5
The elevator is slow and needs to be staff triggered to go up (not coming down) in the evening for some reason. But there’s always staff available at the front desk. The stairs only go up to second floor so if the room is at 3rd floor like what we had, you’d have to rely on the elevator. Also the breakfast buffet was not very fresh

Staff friendly, breakfast buffet was great. Only negative was the elevator had to be accessed by a staff member in order to use it. Sometimes you had to find a staff member before you could access it so convenience was lacking
- 2/5
Disappointed in stay. Hotel not being kept up. Needs renovation. Carpets filthy. Outdoor patio furniture filthy. Gum and a cigarette butt on patio. Light switches filthy. Bring your Clorox wipes. Paid for parking at check-in. Received a one-hundred-and-six-dollar parking ticket at checkout. They need to get their act together. Will never stay there again.
- 2/5
Perfect location and comfortable beds however this hotel needs a lot of updating. We had to change rooms 3 times. First room smelled of cigarettes, 2nd room had a pipe burst in ceiling. Then they moved us to a suite but it did not have a king size bed and balcony which is what we booked. The lobby was warm with 2 bags fans to move air around. It's unfortunate because with this location it has a ton of potential

You pay for parking but the convenience of parking next to the hotel and walking along the water and in town and little Italy is worth the extra expense. Our room faced the water so that was a bonus.

My experience with my stay was nice. I feel like there should be two agents on the front at all times to cover the desk. Because we went in and out 10 times and I had to search for the agent to let me up on the elevator 6 out of the 10. The female agent was very kind but looked exhausted and the gentleman was attentive but not friendly. The balcony to go out to get air. The bed was comfortable but old. The room was clean.

Staff were friendly and polite. Hotel and rooms look beautiful, but poor property maintenance. Things don't seem to get fixed or upgraded when they deteriorate. Elevators haven't been working well for a while. Toilet water pressure is awful. One of the mattresses was caving in. Lamp not working. Dining area under par.

Excellent location right on waterfront and next to concert venue. Expected city noise, didn’t expect overnight construction activity. Very difficult for parking, festival and concert, limited options. Reservation was booked for 2 Queen beds and when we checked in, the front desk said because it was booked through third party, they were at liberty to change the room to a king room and they were sold out! Okay… we took that option but certainly wouldn’t have booked the property if that had been known in advance. Oh well… life goes on and we enjoyed visiting the area.

This was a great hotel in the heart of everything but away just enough to be quiet. Super friendly & helpful staff. Two high-end restaurants attached to the property. The hotel breakfast left a bit to be desired & the continental breakfast didn't have many offerings. Otherwise, the experience was wonderful.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the staff was awesome and the parking was what I was hoping for. Now there was a hidden clause I hadn’t counted on. An extra hundred dollars deposit was required for parking. When you book, it said, self parking is available. But overall, I would stay there anytime I visit Baltimore.

The hotel is in a prime location at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD. The price is also very reasonable given the location. Was pleasantly surprised with my standard King room - tall ceilings and faux balcony that permitted opening of the balcony doors for fresh air. I would rate this stay higher if it wasn't for the lobby music that was playing late into the night, past midnight, that could be heard from the 3rd floor. The hotel layout has an inner, covered lobby space in the middle and all the rooms are at the perimeter. So, the lobby music can be heard throughout the hotel. Ironically, there was no music playing that loudly when I checked out at 9am the next day. Please, consider lowering the volume past 10pm so guests can sleep more comfortably. Thanks.

Parking was the easiest. Some past reviews complained about lack of updates over several decades, but I'm here to visit Baltimore, not camp out inside all day.. The hotel was lovely and its location ideal. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful. Parking is a bit tricky if you don’t valet. The only negative was the breakfast. There wasn’t much of a selection for $19.95. There were no pancakes, French toast, fruit or Danish. The utensils were plastic and condiments in small packages. For a better selection and less money, walk across the street to iHop. 🙂

There were a couple of minor inconveniences—namely, the hot water in the bathroom wasn’t always consistent, so earlier showers worked best. The elevator was also out of service for a few days, but the staff was present and helpful throughout, assisting guests as needed. Overall, the positives far outweighed the drawbacks, and I would gladly stay here again on a future visit.

The hotel is convenient to the Wharf. The rooms are very nice, large, and very quiet. We walked ro Little Italy for dinner. The IHOP is right across the street. We walked the wharf; toured the tall ships; went up to the 27th floor of their world to see the area. On pier 5, there was a vendor selling Steamed crabs and the Balrimore Aquarium is right there. It was a busy evening. The next morning we boarded the American Cruiseline Independence ship for a cruise just steps away from this hotel.

The staff was terrible I paid 30$ extra for early check in when we arrived at 3:00 they said our room wasn’t ready told them I paid 30$ for early check in the man at the desk said oh that’s not a thing.. ???? So my husband and I sat for 40 MINUTES in the lobby and waited it was 4:30 my husband did not want to wait any longer asked for a refund we can just go home and that’s when they said oh your room is ready.?What I believe happened is the man gave our room away to another guest cause I booked a king and got 2 queen beds .Don’t offer something and not honor it. Nice location but get staff that actually care about the guests. Only gave stars cause I had too.

I was also impressed by how quiet the room was. There was a loud student group staying on our floor, but once we were inside the room, you could barely hear any of the noise. The sound insulation made a big difference and allowed for a peaceful stay. The location was another major plus. There were attractions nearby, two nice restaurants right on site, and the free water taxi pulled up directly to the hotel, which made getting around both convenient and fun. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable visit with great views, a peaceful room, and an excellent location.
- 5/5
I traveled alone without any real plans just to get away. The location was perfect for what I came for. The room met all expectations and the self parking was great. Right next door to the hotel with a good view of the harbor. (Depending on where you park) Definitely would stay there again.
- 3/5
A great location but rooms need a facelift and some repairs.
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the room was not up to my expectations. The toilet had pubic hair before I used it. There was complimentary water bottles provided, but one of them was partially consumed and already open. The linens and towels smelled like kettle corn. It was nice to have two restaurants accessible by the lobby: Ruth’s Chris and McCormick and Schmidt’s. I ended up staying in a different.
- 4/5
Parking was a BREEZE! The staff was exceptional. We did not eat the breakfast - but the complimentary coffee was great. We will stay there again on our next visit.
- 4/5
Parking was outside and it was fine.

Do not stay here on the weekend unless you like to turn in after 1:00 AM. There is a new music venue nearby that gets cranked up around 10:30 PM. Sounds like WW III kicking off. Elevator was dodgy and the room smelled like the boys locker room from high school. Staff was very kind and tried to be accommodating, but they have a lot of obstacles to overcome.
- 2/5
I have been staying here once or twice a year for the past 10 years. Since Hilton is no longer its owner the The hotel has taken a significant drop in quality. I have only stayed here three times since it was dropped by Hilton. Of those three times this has been the worst. Our card key for our stay stopped working for our room and the elevator, other guests had similar issues. We had to had to go to the front desk multiple times. Additionally, when we started the shower the water was dirty as if no one has been in the room for over a week. Needless to say, this will probably be the last time I stay there. It is no longer worth the high price tag you have to pay to stay near the harbor

Comfy beds, room didn’t feel crowded even with 4 people, and in an excellent location. Easy to walk to many destinations and restaurants. Didn’t pay for a room with a view yet got one with a partial of the harbor. The room we were assigned was right beside the outdoor HVAC units which were noticeably loud even in the room with the door closed. If you sleep with ear plugs, it helps.

- 3/5
Nice place for a short stay. Our room had no garbage can or microwave. The elevator was broken. It is the only way to access the 3rd floor. Subsequently the staff had to buzz us up the service elevator with their employee card every time we entered. The room is very dated and could use some remodeling.
- 5/5
The staff were pleasant and helpful, the elevator had a problem that required assistance from a staff member each time going up to the room
- 5/5
The Hotel was calm & quiet! They even had a complimentary happy hour (2 drink minimum w/ small bites to eat) on our 2nd day). The rooms are VERY spacious & clean. It was my birthday weekend so the extras were a plus! There are two restaurants (Ruth Chris & McCormick n Schmick’s) connected to it. The hotel is literally in the middle of everything Inner Harbor & walking distance (about 12 mins walking) to Fells Point where there is more to do and enjoy. We did not partake in any amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
- 2/5
Won’t be returning, too much money for a hotel like that respectfully.
- 3/5
The bathroom needs updating. Toilet seat was falling off, on Friday night the water pressure was low and water was warm, never got hot. On Saturday there was no hot water and Sunday morning still no hot water. Then when we checked out at 8am there was a 5k run that shut down the road leading off of the pier, the hotel staff did not post this information and we were stuck in the parking lot for an hour waiting for the runners to go by before the road would open up.

The parking lot was gated and it felt safe. The breakfast was excellent with many choices and and the cook was really good and got all our entrees correct, including a big smile, good morning and delivering the entree to the table. Excellent service with a smile. Thanks and keep up the good work.
- 5/5
It was clean N/A
- 4/5
Great price for the location. Clean rooms, decent amenities. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Centrally located downtown, close to all major attractions and amenities No vending or late night snack options at the property
- 5/5
We had such a wonderful time, definitely will go back
- 4/5
Breakfast was made to order but very tasty!! Needed more staff to help during breakfast.
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great location for a family getaway. Staff was great. The hotel had some minor issues but was very happy to be there. No continental breakfast or on site parking, but plenty of options for those nearby.
- 3/5
Location was amazing. Balcony was really cool. Everything is an extra charge(parking, breakfast, checking in before 4pm) Soundproofing was not good. Rooms are worn. Would still consider staying again due to location. Aquarium is right there and can even walk to Fells Point without crossing a single road.
- 4/5
Location was perfect! A little outdated.
- 2.5/5
Outside, lobby, view and staff all great The room was old, paint chipped, toilet leaked and ran all night, I thought I was going to fall thru the patio floor, there’s a large hole covered with a piece of vinyl. Trash in the area outside my my balcony!
- 2/5
Breakfast was crap.
- 3.5/5
outdated Room. No microwave.
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
The staff Ms. Lanita and the evening lady were really nice but I did not like the fact that everytime you needed to use the elevator you had to wait in staff to let you up. I didn’t like the fact that I was charged for a night when I checked in the next day due to flight delays because of bad weather. It’s a very outdated hotel the good thing is it’s right on the harbor and a Ruth Chris and McCormick’s is in the hotel. Would I book again??? Probably not
- 4/5
Seems a little pricey
- 5/5
Everything was great, except for our neighbors' headboard bouncing off the wall hard enough to bounce our headboard :)
- 1/5
Awful out dated dirty and not safe do not stay here
- 5/5
Strong smoke odor had to request another room
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable and rooms clean but some people were outside the property shouting all night until 3:30 in the morning. Also be wary in the late evening in the area as there groups of kids on bikes who will grab and steal anything dangling off a person: son’s beats were stolen. Never saw any police presence.
- 3/5
The hotel needs upkeep. Outlets were broken and the place just looks old and not maintained well.
- 4/5
Clean
- 2.5/5
Perfect location for walking around inner harbor, which is why we chose it. We also needed parking. And for convenience, I wanted on-site breakfast I included. Strange decor- like 80s meets Alice in Wonderland. Elevator wasn’t fully functional; the lady at the check in deck had to open it from the back. Trying to fall asleep with my child and could still hear someone blasting music and smelled weed wafting into my room. And the breakfast was pretty lame. I expected slightly more for the price I paid for everything. Parking was a separate fee, too. Like it’s Baltimore, not NYC. Let’s settle down with the prices. We had a harbor view but there was so much rooftop in the way, you could barely see the water anyway.
- 4/5
Room was clean, location to the harbor GREAT
- 5/5
Clean and warm staff
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the National aquarium and other attractions like Phillips and Hard Rock Cafe. As well as other bars and restaurants. There is a small playground across the street. The view of the harbor is fantastic.
- 2/5
King room with balcony. Room 201 had a beautiful water view.... the rest of the room was terrible. Mattress was turned up at the corners. Visible lumpy mattress ... like it looked like kids were hiding in the bed. Asked about switching rooms but there were no other rooms available. I had an event to attend so i had to make it work. Drain in tub kept closing thus water pooling while showering. Fast forward to the next morning, we were tired & sore from sleeping on lumps. The balcony door didn't have a screen for fresh air without bugs coming in the balcony didnt feel safe in several spots, especially right out side the threshold.... the floor buckled & felt soft like you could fall threw. I spoke to several staff who kept saying there was nothing they could. I called again to speak to a manager yet they are never available. Very upset about the quality of the room.
- 2/5
There was no information given to us at check-in or a Binder in the hotel explaining about the hotel or places nearby. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, parking was over $30 a day, the hotel was completely outdated. Sometimes the water didn’t work or it was yellow water coming from the tub. The elevator had to be manually turned on every single time we went to the second floor, which was a great inconvenience, considering we had two young kids and often brought the stroller to our room with us.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean, staff was very polite, help. I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
The property was very outdated. Rust around the bathroom. Old carpet outdated appliances
- 4/5
Elevator call buttons did not work whole time we were there. We had to ask an employee to send us up, no problem going down, but needed assistance going up every time. Very nice staff, available at desk 24/7.
- 1/5
Great location in Baltimore but very outdated appearance in public areas and room. Elevator also not working. Expensive and not great quality overall.
- 1/5
Outdated, dirty, no security.
- 5/5
I loved it
- 4/5
Incredible location and harbor views. Big room. Would have liked a regular duvet but it was a thinner one. Very friendly staff. I parked in a big parking garage called Harbor 5. I thought it was going to be payed for by the hotel but it wasn’t. $35 per 24 hours. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Check out was 12 noon which I liked. I would come back.
- 3/5
The room was not very clean especially the bathroom
- 4/5
Na
- 4/5
Brian at the front desk was very helpful upon check in to get us rooms together and upgrade to a suite due to extra last minute guest. The room was clean but dated. One night stand came away from the wall causing a full drink to spill
- 1/5
Outlets in room were loose & faulty Cabinet doors were falling off the hinges No hot water Towels were like sandpaper Good location Not a good value at all
- 5/5
Had no pets. My friend enjoyed the complimentary Happy Hour.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and Ruth Chris dining was decent
- 3/5
Only the service elevator was working so no means to get up to third floor rooms without a staff member engaging the service elevator. Very odd set up that we could walk up to second floor but not to the third floor.
- 4/5
Room was large, definitely dated, but great location
- 3/5
The property was clean and staff always helpful and polite. The location is excellent, very centralized to Inner Harbor, Little Italy & Fells Point, all within walking distance. I rated this 3 stars for comfort. The bed was too firm so neither one of us slept well, the shower had very low pressure, the soap dispensers barely worked you had to pump several times for enough liquid to dispense. I would consider staying again due to the location, hopefully they can improve on the amenities for the next time we stay.
- 1/5
Expedia have been no help in assisting us, kept me on the phone after I explained the situation and then after waiting for 80 minutes, they inevitably cut me off. I may be done with Expedia.
- 5/5
We would definitely come back to this hotel. Staff very accommodating/friendly. Perfect location to see harbor and sites.
- 5/5
Clean. Kind front desk staff. Nice lobby happy hour and very sweet lady pouring our drinks. The attached restaurant was delicious and beautiful. Our waiter was amazing. The bed was comfortable. Quiet. Didnt hear other guests. Great location! Walked to power plant and back friday night. Was short walk. Also in morning walked to miss shirleys cafe. Loved having a balcony sliding glass door that we could open. Glad we booked here.
- 4/5
Location was perfect for what we needed
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 2/5
Water was cold. Afternoon and evening. Other than that it’s ok.
- 4/5
Room was pretty good, although we did get an upgrade. Hot water was NEVER hot. View was pretty, again because of the upgrade. I would probably stay here again if I could afford the upgrade, but the original room they showed us was nothing to write home about. Nice and close to both Harbor East and the National Aquarium and the Hard Rock Cafe
- 3/5
We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the stadium and aquarium. Unfortunately, after our stay here we felt we paid way too much for what we received. The cost when we booked was $275 for a night. There was a few issues I should note. The first, the elevator was out so a staff member had to ride it down first before you could go up. The second, our room was REALLY hot and we turned the thermostat down but it wouldn’t cool off. We had to open a window and at 2am, there was a very loud beeping that sounded like a truck backing up. This noise went on and off until 8am but because our room was so hot, he had to keep the window open. We were also in a weird corner room with a very ugly view of the HVAC systems where you can constantly hear the drone of it outside. If you end up staying here, make sure you’re not on this side of the hotel. We will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Very clean room ,nice veiw ,close to where i was visiting ,will book again
- 4/5
The room was clean but just somewhat dated. The staff was tremendous. It was quiet and in a great location within walkingdiatamce to many restaurants and shops.
- 3/5
Staff was great as was location. Wasn't a flawless experience because of having to evacuate and having trbl re-entering the room
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time at Pier 5. Staff was very accommodating, the room was a little out dated but we loved the balcony. Perfect location to park your car for the weekend and explore the Harbor.
- 5/5
Staff was great. The room had a great view . Tv has lots of channels. Bed was comfortable and the noise level was very minimal. Perfect location !
- 2/5
The room itself was cleanamd the location was great. Unfortunately the entire hotel smells like weed and people are playing music and partying until 4 am, slamming doors, yelling in hallways. Just wish we had known this is definitely not a kid-friendly kind of hotel.
- 3/5
The breakfast this morning was your basic eat-breakfast-at-the-motor lodge style, but it was $19 a head and we said no and went to the IHOP two blocks away. They did offer us free coffee and water though! Please make sure to park in the outside, uncovered parking lot next to the hotel. If you park in the inside/covered lot that says Pier 5, you're going to pay a lot more and you will have to pay everytime you pull in or out. I figured this out but by the time I got back to my car, I owed them $5 All in all, not entirely bad, just barely functional. I won't stay there again. :)
- 5/5
Nice location, beautiful view from the room. Hotel is nice looking.
- 4/5
The staff are lovely.
- 5/5
The room was clean, check in was easy and straight forward, staff was courteous with the few interactions I had. The location was convenient and within walking distance from everything we did.
- 5/5
The staff was great and the view for the balcony rooms are beautiful!
- 1/5
I reserved a balcony room with king bed harbor view-breakfast included. I was very disappointed at the appearance of the room. The furnitures were old and scratched as if they went through a storm. Carpets were old and smelly. I did not sleep well because the air condition unit was loud and made cackling sounds. Also we could hear all the strokes and noises coming from the room next door. Towels were rough and there was no hot water in the sink only in the bath tub. The restaurant staff tried to send us to ihop for breakfast stating they don’t have enough food. This was vey disappointing because I paid $100 extra to have breakfast included. This was not worth the money I paid. Will not recommend this place to anyone
- 5/5
Staff was nice and room was clean.
- 4/5
Rooms and TV’s are outdated
- 5/5
Was nice and on the water
- 5/5
Everything was great Loved the stay will be back
- 5/5
The hotel was good. The room given had a connector door. We asked if we could change, but were told the hotel was sold out. The front desk did allow late checkin . We had booked the room with 2 breakfast , however we had to pay for our kids . The hotel charged us for 4 breakfast instead of 2 , which I had to request to rectify. Parking charges are extra. The hotel staff were helpful ,respectful and responsive. We just had a one night stay
- 5/5
Clean, great location, and friendly staff
- 4/5
The hotel is in prime location for anything you could need in Baltimore. Being right on the Inner Harbor is the best quality of this hotel. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beds were comfy. The hotel interior is a bit dated- think the prime type of hotel in the early 1990's. Safe, clean, great value. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Good deal
- 3/5
The room had no heat
- 5/5
Room was nice! Overall 1 night stay was very relaxing.
- 3/5
Parking: not so great, costs $35 and you have still have to walk to the hotel. Cleanliness: great! Location: excellent! Room: just so-so. I got the cheapest room so I can’t complain. Where else will you find a hotel room in the inner harbor for $100?!?! The room was outdated but clean and offered exactly what I needed. A bed and bathroom right on the harbor for the night. No frills or thrills. I would definitely stay here again if I need a place to stay after a concert.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfordable.

The room was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful.
- 4/5
Room was very old. Broken headboard
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful.
- 5/5
This was a wonderful trip , it was a getaway away from home, and was well deserved, the front desk check in was fast and the room was clean and breakfast was on point , everything was wonderful, thank you Baltimore 😊🌞
- 4/5
The room was clean. Staff was great. No complaints at all. I would definitely use that hotel again.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room, nice and helpful staff, excellent location with close self parking
- 5/5
Great hotel for the price the room for clean staff was friendly too bad. The weather really sucked.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 3/5
Parking was on site, and easy to access. Staff upon checking in at the desk were courteous and welcoming. Let us check in an hour early. No issues there. The lobby was well kept, and easy to navigate. Decided to stay at this location for convenience of walking distance to the Aquarium, Phillips, and the Soundstage to celebrate my birthday with my mother, and spouse. The room on the other hand, very dated, large thick cobwebs in corners of the ceiling, questionable wall stains near the beds and desk, peeling wallpaper, and the shower was rather uncomfortable to use as a man of 6'2. The beds were ok, linen was very stiff and scratchy. Woke up to the lamp in the corner that was not on during our brief moments in the room before bed, had turned itself on in the middle of the night. Did not attempt to use the television, coffee pot, or mini fridge but they were provided with the room for the stay. The view from the room wasn't bad, especially at night. Did not partake at any of the onsite restaurants at this time, although they are quite impressive options. All in all, the room itself was not a highlight of the trip for the spouse and myself. Had higher hopes and expectations for the stay based off of previous knowledge of the property, and physical location. Unfortunately it ended up feeling just like a place to rest our heads when we were completed with the days activities and nothing more. Maybe it was just the room we were given, but likely hood of coming back are slim.
- 1/5
I was told I wouldn't be charged for the last night if I checked out a day early. When checking out early, I was told that Expedia had to handle it. Then Expedia said the hotel refused to refund the last night. Otherwise, the stay was fine.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience. Friendly staff and clean safe rooms. Will be returning!
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was great. Bed was very comfortable.
- 2/5
The worst customer service
- 2/5
Because we stayed in the off season, the hotel was fairly empty. Others were given a choice of their rooms, and all three nights that we stayed, someone was upgraded to the room next to ours, which also had the option to be adjoined (there was a door which was locked that linked the two rooms). During the first two nights there was some noise from the adjoined guest, but it was minimal and did not disrupt us. During the third night there was constant noise (banging and shouting) and marijuana smoking from the next room which kept us awake until 2AM when we finally had to call down to the front desk to complain. The front desk did handle the situation and we were able to get some rest after that. With the hotel being so empty, we wished that people did not have to be placed directly next to us. It would have allowed for a much more peaceful stay. Additionally, the bed sagged in the middle and we rarely had warm water. It made it difficult to get a shower.
- 5/5
I loved my stay here. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, even asking me what type of room I would prefer when I checked in, getting a harbor view. The hotel was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Room was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful! I loved the look and feel!

- 2/5
Nothing to do with the hotel or staff, but we were all awoken at 4am to the craziest noises coming from next door. The walls were beyond paper thin as the person next to us snored, gasped for air, and moaned from 4am until we left the room at 7. We left the day before our checkout since we could tell that the neighbor was still there and there was no way we could listen to that again. The Hotel is is a great location, just seems like it needs a lot of upgrading.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and comfortable, well equipped. The location is good and parking convenient.
- 1/5
Refused to replace bed linen
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff were very professional. Location is convenient and within walking distance to most things around the inner harbor.
- 5/5
Room was very spacious and nice
- 5/5
Mr.Tico had great customer service and my room was great
- 3/5
No elevator. Had to come up and down the 36 steps
- 5/5
room clean staff great and helpfull
- 5/5
The design of this hotel is so cool, it's a great feeling to walk in and see it. The room was comfy, and the water was hot. My bed was slightly softer than I like, but I still had a great sleep.
- 5/5
A clean, quiet room with a view was perfect for two days.
- 4/5
Yes everything was absolutely nice! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Baltimore.
- 5/5
Great hotel staff and room
- 5/5
I would have liked to select just a toast for breakfast, instead of a packaged more expensive big breakfast. Maybe a smaller option, tea, juice and toast
- 5/5
Clean, reliable, convenient location and self parking.
- 5/5
Was great 👍
- 5/5
Great stay full of amenities.
- 5/5
Was a very good-stay very friendly just wish it had A little store that had drinks
- 5/5
Great location and view of the harbor. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful! I was a little nervous about booking here because of some of the reviews, and I will say that the room decor is a bit outdated as others mentioned, but it was clean, spacious and in the perfect location!
- 5/5
Staff was nice, room was in decent shape, comfortable space.
- 5/5
Clean room, easy access to the city attractions. In addition, great customer service, specially from front clerk employee Tico; very helpful, friendly and made our day after traveling for a long time.
- 3/5
Broken seat at bar in room, light falling out of ceiling, beds hard
- 2/5
staff was not friendly enough
- 3/5
Staff was courteous. I had pre-ordered water but didn't receive it. The place definitely needs some updating as I have requested a balcony room which I was stuck in a corner and the balcony furniture was pretty beat up. Wasn't worth the extra money. The room definitely needs some updating especially the bathroom. They need to outline the parking situation prior to your arrival.
- 5/5
lovely
- 3/5
I was told that check in I got a special worm in the third floor. But however when I turn the water on to shower the water was brown so a couple minutes. It took so long to check in I did not feel like going back down there to see if I can get another one.
- 5/5
Awesome!!!! Book it and know that it is dated but clean and safe !!!
- 5/5
Great location and clean room!!! It is dated but it was safe and comfortable.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and tidy, great restaurants attached with a short walk to Little Italy. Purchased extra water with Expedia never recived it that was the only issue
- 4/5
I didn't eat the breakfast.
- 5/5
Yes the room was in beautiful condition and the staff refreshed it daily.
- 5/5
Very accommodating and helpful staff.
- 4/5
Staff was very kind!
- 3/5
There weren’t many amenities and our room was not freshened up daily
- 4/5
I had a good time here. My suite did smell of smoke (cigarettes or other things). Staff warned me about it beforehand which was much appreciated. It can be fixed with a changing of the carpet and curtains. Outside of that it was a good time.
- 5/5
Spotless room, spotless lobby, friendly staff, great restaurant attached.
- 5/5
The help at the desk is the biggest thing that makes or breaks our stay. They man both nights and the woman in the morning ls were so kind, helpful and professional!!! They will be the reason we keep coming back!!!
- 4/5
Dhort but good stay. The place was clean
- 4/5
Convenient and loved the tall ceilings in the room.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly.
- 2/5
Overall the room was fine although Pier 5 has seen better days. I would warn guests about parking. Pier 5 uses an open-air lot for $35/night. However, you have to tell them you're using it. There are no signs at the front desk and when I stayed no one asked me if I was parking in their lot. I woke up with a $105 parking ticket. When I went to ask them they said it, "That's not our problem. You should have let us know that you were parking there." I can understand if there were signs or someone told me but that didn't happen and to get such a rude customer service experience was unacceptable. The front desk person also said that I should have seen the sign outside in the parking lot (which was small and it was dark out). This is the first time I've ever written a review but I thought their treatment of me as so bad. The funny thing is that I had stayed there 4 other nights and due to frequent travel I was planning on making that my home base every time I'm in Baltimore. Well that's not happening, I will find another hotel that actually is nice to their customers.
- 3/5
.
- 5/5
Staff were extremely friendly. Our suite had 3 balconies with great views. The bartender at the restaurant downstairs was also very nice. Wonderful stay! We will return, as we come to Baltimore frequently and like to have a room with a waterfront view.
- 4/5
Awesome location
- 5/5
Glad we stayed, nice hotel
- 4/5
Enjoyed the room. Had a great view with a little balcony. Breakfast in the morning was a bit pricey but was really good.
- 5/5
Food was great.
- 4/5
I didn’t have any meals there but they smelled delicious.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and room was clean
- 5/5
Great customer care!
- 5/5
Comfortable room
- 5/5
It was good. Excellent location. Good views.
- 4/5
The room was clean.... the bed sheet was small exposing a dated mattress, but it was comfy. There's no microwave but a mini fridge. Had to go to desk for sheets and picked up a few extra towels. Tiko at the front desk was upfront and very accommodating. The location is perfect, everything is in walking distance and there's decent food spots close by. Overall was satisfied, housekeeping was friendly and kept our room clean.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Great hotel great,location friendly staff
- 5/5
Great location and really nice rooms, clean and spacious, even though a little on the older side
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional !
- 3/5
The rooms could've had a refrigerator my wife was charged for something no one could explained. And also everybody doesn't smoke we left early because we got smoked out.
- 5/5
Every thing was wonderful will definitely come back
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
Noisy, inattentive staff, no glasses in the room and air conditioning didn’t work
- 3/5
The room was needing some improvements but the comfort was suitable. The location is great! That was the only upside
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and close to everything.
- 4/5
We did encounter a few minor issues: one room carried a noticeable scent of cigarette smoke, while the other had a persistent drip from the shower. As we arrived late and stayed only one night, we reported the concerns to the morning staff before departure. Although their response was courteous, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness we experienced from the evening team. That said, the setting and convenience more than made up for these small inconveniences.
- 5/5
King Room was spacious & well designed. Overall the Hotel was aesthetically pleasing and within 5 minute walk to National Aquarium as well as a multitude of restaurants. The people working there were extremely friendly & helpful.
- 3/5
Dated and not well maintained. Paid extra for a backing that was flooded with a puddle of water. Toilet was clogged as soon as we arrived to the room.
- 5/5
Very nice view from the balcony.
- 4/5
All staff top notch. Very clean. Property somewhat run down. Free breakfasts at lower end hotels better than the pathetic offering.
- 4/5
We had an amazing stay and the staff were very accommodating. Our only complaint was there was not a vending machine or ice machine. We would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
The website and staff stated happy hour every day (food and drink) as one of the main amenities. My son and I wanted a quick bite before dinner but the happy hour was cancelled. The staff was rude and indifferent about it. Instead of comping two snacks they charged us for it. When asked the manage the next day to comp it I was denied. Won’t be back.
- 3/5
Everything was good. The balcony was huge. However, they need to get rid of that old carpet. It messed with my allergies so bad. If they modernize the rooms it would be better.
- 3/5
The ice maker was out of order for 4 of the 5 day stay. The staff was very professional but couldn't offer any assistance
- 4/5
The hotel was clean but the bed nearest the window had at least a 6 inch dip in the middle. Also, the coffee maker did not work.
- 1/5
Booked more than 6 weeks out. Arrived at hotel at 2pm to check in. Was told we could not check in before 4 which is understandable. They took our luggage for us and kept it secure. We returned later that day at 11pm to find out that we did NOT have a room and we were being moved to a different hotel. Very inconvenient. Zero communication.
- 5/5
Outstanding and the view of the harbor was amazing !
- 5/5
The room was very clean and it was conveniently located near John Hopkins. The parking situation was a bit confusing, didn’t realize we’d be paying for parking.
- 4/5
A great place on the Harbor, kinda funky and dated, but clean, comfortable and really friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff and close to attractions like the national aquarium and others.
- 5/5
Front desk was awesome. We will be back!
- 4/5
Bugs in tub, ants on bed
- 5/5
This place was amazing
- 3/5
The noise from outside was difficult to bare. Seems like a reverse beeper was going all night.
- 1/5
The room has a terrible odor
- 4/5
Staff was outstanding - kind and accommodating. Hotel is in a great location. Two really nice restaurant options. But this hotel needs some TLC. The door to our bathroom was literally coming off the hinges significantly and needed to be picked up about 3” to close. The carpet in the hotel is extremely worn - general upkeep like paint and carpet is needed. The hotel website advertises events that did not happen. It could also stand to install a gym or other amenities.
- 5/5
Great hotel, fabulous location, clean, safe and the nicest staff anywhere! Brian at the front desk is the best! And the bartenders at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse are like family now. Big hugs to Haley, Neil, Gavin and the rest of the crew!❤️❤️
- 4/5
Parking was convenient, but very disappointed with the whole check in process i dont epriciate being charged 2 times for 100.00 deposit then i call and they denied it but it is on my bank statement was approved for early check-in but when i get there room isint ready
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable. The rooms are very outdated and over priced. Only think nice in the bathroom was the sink and heated lamp on the ceiling. For the price we paid, we should not step onto the balcony and see what appeared to be a homeless man laying right below by the water. Clerks during check in and check out were courteous.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel close to all major tourist destinations. Spacious rooms. Not enough staff in the breakfast room. One person (who did a great job) had no help.
- 3/5
Upon arrival, staff were not welcoming. My room key stopped working and it took longer than necessary to get that resolved. A fellow guest complained about moldy bread at the continental breakfast. Altogether, it would help immensely if staff were more welcoming, and showed more concern for guest concerns.
- 5/5
Great location to inner harbor and activities.
- 5/5
great stay !
- 5/5
Front desk checkin guy was awesome.
- 5/5

This hotel is in an excellent location on the pier and staff couldn't be nicer. Miss Stephanie makes great omelets and happy hour is a nice touch. The infrastructure needs work...elevator etc... but i'd stay here again
- 1/5
The gentleman with the dreadlocks was very unprofessional and extremely rude to me, and his coworker
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Tico had amazing customer service.
- 5/5
Location by the water was wonderful.
- 4/5
Full array of places to eat and drink. Right next to the Pier 6 concert venue. Harbor is beautiful.
- 3/5
Elevators don’t work
- 5/5
Perfect location!
- 5/5
The location is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and clean!
- 4/5
Hotel was conveniently located. We stayed 4 nights. The service elevator was the only working elevator and we had to obtain assistance from the staff to get to our floor every day we were there. The person who checked us in said we would get one night parking free for the inconvenience; however, we were charged for all 4 days of parking. When I inquired about it, the person at the desk said there were no notes regarding the credit. Therefore, we did not receive what was promised.
- 5/5
Great location right in the heart of the Inner Harbor. Front desk staff was friendly and the room was quiet.
- 4/5
Excellent place to stay for a concert at Pier 6. The spaces I was in were comfy and clean. Had a slightly negative experience with the staff checking us in. I asked for repeat directions to the parking and instead of just telling me, he said “now what did I just say?”, similar to how one would scold a child. Pretty condescending. But the hotel was decent overall, so I would likely stay there again.
- 5/5
Our room was clean. Staff were friendly. Housekeeping tidied our room up for us in between the days of our stay, which was unexpected. That level of customer service is not seen these days!
- 1/5
Awful
- 3/5
Hotel is in a prime location which is really nice. It’s outdated and needs some upgrades. WiFi never did work, bath tub was peeling which was awkward, breakfast was expensive and not very good. No vending machines or way to purchase snacks from the front desk.
- 3/5
Breakfast is not worth the cost. Front desk lady was sleep when i checked in and also when i checked out. Otherwise the stay was fine.
- 1/5
The rooms and hotel are literally falling apart! The balcony is a safety issue... the staff is lackluster at best
- 5/5
This hotel had an excellent location to many places in Baltimores Inner Harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the parking was very easy and convenient which you dont always get in a downtown area. It was a great stay!
- 3/5
The location was great! The king-sized room was a good size. The $20.00 a head breakfast was ok, but service for the custom omelets was slow, it was however, a bargain in comparison to the other walkable options in the area.
- 5/5
Awesome property in a great location
- 3/5
Rachel, expensive no amenities elevators are not working had to walk up stairs to third floor e
- 2/5
The room was just ok, you could hear everything outside and next door through the walls. Everything definitely appears old, see attached photo of the shower curtain. The location is great.
- 4/5
Nice
- 3/5
The breakfast was truly disappointing! It was the same breakfast other chains offer for free, but here it came with a $12.00 charge for this unappealing spread. The only added feature was a 'cook' making eggs or omelettes, who kept tapping her tip jar. Honestly, the only tip we could offer is to learn how to cook!
- 5/5
Lovely view of the pier
- 5/5
The only thing missing was a microwave as could not take any leftovers back to room to heat.
- 4/5
Not the best hotel in town, but for the price, it was superb. Excellent location too. The front desk staff were friendly. I recommend paying a little extra for the covered parking lot across the road rather than the open lot next door to the hotel. Not for security, but I prefer my car to be in the shade.
- 5/5
Tico was very friendly and accomodating at the front desk upon check-in. He suggested lots of places to visit and restaurants to eat. He was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite with a nice view of the harbor as well. He is a wonderful asset to your hotel!!
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk was amazing. Nice property and walkable to everything.
- 5/5
Yes, the hotel may need an overall update. However, it was clean, staff was respectful & friendly. Housekeeping was efficient. The rooms were large and the view( water view rooms) of Fed Hill was unsurpassed.
- 5/5
Best service and staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
Wonderful location, probably the best you'll get on the harbor under $300 a night. The only downside was the pervasive musty, moldy, mildew smell throughout the room and hotel. Also, the AC was unplugged when we arrived for some reason, but I figured it out pretty quickly and plugged it back in.
- 5/5
Nothing to complain.
- 3/5
I stayed here with my daughter and grandchildren for a weekend to sightsee and go to the aquarium. The day we arrived the street the hotel is on was closed for a race, we had to walk 3 blocks in the pouring rain with a 6 year old and 6 month old and all of our things. Saturday night there was music blaring til 2am from one of the establishments nearby, when we woke up Sunday morning the TV area and desk between the beds were covered with ants! It’s a great location but not the best experience overall
- 2/5
The bathroom drain was rusted. The shower Curtains were dirty as well as the towels and bed sheets. The balcony door didn’t open. Not returning here ever.
- 5/5
Great stay, comfortable hotel, great staff, excellent location.
- 4/5
Clean room, great view, some minor maintenance needed on patio door
- 5/5
Staff was very accommodating and friendly! Location was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable!!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The balcony view was great!
- 5/5
Everything went well and I had the best time in a long time
- 4/5
Facility pretty nice, staff nice, and room was okay, negatives: both times we stayed smelled like weed when you pass certain rooms, we had a mouse in the room which didnt really bother me, and balcony/roof top for our room connected to other rooms so another guest from another room could be right outside our sliding glass door which was a very weird setup but all was okay. A few loud guests coming home to their rooms but only momentary noises nobody was consistently loud so I was able to sleep (which is the #1 concern for me). Great location right there on Pier 5. Got the room for a fairly cheap price $136 + $35 for parking...so i would recommend and stay again.
- 3/5
The lady upon checkout was VERY mouthy.
- 3/5
If you were looking for a hotel that is near all of the great restaurants and being on the pier this hotel is for you. However, if you are looking for cleanliness, furniture that works, and a nice staff this is probably not the right hotel for you. The balcony situation is a little creepy. I had another guest look directly into my bedroom from his/my balcony. It wasn’t his fault he didn’t realize that we shared a balcony. There should be a partition there so that that does not happen. Also, their TVs kinda suck. There isn’t even a pause button on the TV. There were not enough USB ports in the room as well. No microwaves in the bedrooms either.
- 2/5
Not a great experience at this hotel.
- 1/5
the other transactions made I dont understand from what I even check out the they before and they keep charging fees from my account... Whats going on...
- 5/5
My room had a beautiful view of the harbor with a seating area on the balcony
- 5/5
I like how close we was to the harbor
- 5/5
The location and quality and cleanliness of the property.
- 5/5
Super convient location
- 5/5
Dated but very hospitable
- 2/5
We booked a balcony room. The balcony was connected to another guests room. At 2 am that guest peaked into our room and scared the crap out of us. The sliding glass door did not work and was not very secure. The bathroom was dirty and the lobby had no air conditioning. Our main room door also did not lock very well. And the whole place smelled like weed and cigarettes. The balcony had a beautiful view but the trade off of poor cleanliness and questionable security is not worth it.
- 4/5
Although the hotel is a bit dated and could use some sprucing up, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
- 3/5
Our room had mold on the walls above the bed that I took pictures of and we weren’t offered a different room or money off our stay they just said they were “sorry”
- 1/5
The ac was broken and the room was 80 degrees. The gave me a room next to mine. No apology
- 2/5
No closet in the room=noplace to hang clothes and no iron/ironing board. We managed to get an iron from the front desk. No AC in lobby or hallways. Brick road leading to hotel in poor condition. Staff was nice and room was clean. Bathroom was the best part. Overall the hotel needs an overhaul.
- 5/5
Hotel is very close to dining & shopping. Very clean & friendly staff
- 5/5
Location was great
- 4/5
No drains for water on balconies
- 2/5
This hotel was a dressed up motel. They only could possibly be getting good reviews because of the area. We walked in the room it had a horrible smell. The towels weren’t white they were more brownish. There were spots and stuff all in the sink. You spend a lot of money to stay at a glorified motel 6 because of area. The rooms are definitely outdated. Wa told we would have a balcony room we get there and the balconies are pretty much just windows with bars 😂
- 4/5
The room was clean, in good condition. Staff was friendly enough. My only complaint was the door had a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on it an housekeeping was knocking at our door 10 am on a Sunday morning. I could stay home for my kids to do that!
- 3/5
Solid property overall. However, breakfast was a joke. “Buffet style breakfast” turned into 3 containers of stale food, a serve yourself waffle iron (out of syrup) and a person taking special orders for eggs. Waited 25 minutes for scrambled eggs that never came and heard the individual cooking the orders remind everyone to not leave until they left a tip. IHOP would have been a better plan.
- 3/5
The best part is the location and the adjacent parking lot. We will be returning next year another music even because we can leave the car and walk to the different stages easily and safely. Its a convient place to get ok sleep
- 1/5
31 dollar parking fee surprised me. Feel parking should be included when paying over $200 a night. Also bed sheet didn’t fit bed. They used a queen for a kind bed. Kept popping off. Didn’t look 100% clean. Location is great. Some staff is nice but one seemed rude when asked a question. Facial looks were negative. Carpet feels disgusting. Think all hotels should go with a carpet free floor if they don’t want to clean their carpet. Outside looked fine.
- 3/5
Check in delayed but found after 5 mins. Shower curtain in bathroom roped numerous places causing water on floor. Hand rail in shower broken. Breakfast good with excellent service but chairs firs day were filthy. Balcony had beautiful view. Room smelled great every time we entered. Cockroach came out under air conditioner. Bedding was a little dingy. Air conditioning was extremely cold. Fridge was very cold. TV was clear and channels adequate.
- 3/5
Hotel is due for some serious upgrades. My stay wasn't bad. It is in an great location. The hotel itself is just very outdated. Staff looked like they were bums hired off the street, very poorly groomed. Not worth the money that I paid. I've paid half price for hotels that were way better than this one.
- 5/5
There was a cockroach when we first walked it. But we didn't see anymore around the property.
- 5/5
Very convenient for events at pier Six Pavillion, and hotel takes care of parking if you let them know before.
- 5/5
Great location, nice and quite stay!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel, esp for the price. A little dated but so convenient!
- 4/5
All was good but the breakfas t is not worth the price
- 5/5
Right across from aquarium, and 4 different naval ships
- 5/5
Didn’t eat
- 4/5
Very close to the aquarium and other activities. Dining was very close as well. Overall would stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean.
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great area to walk to food, the aquarium, and isn’t too far of drive to the Poe museum or other parts of Baltimore. Our

The gentleman at the front desk with the dreads was rude and sarcastic. I asked him about the parking and he said make sure you put your glasses on and read. I had to pay 60 dollars for parking. The young guy was a gentleman he was so nice.
- 4/5
Liked everything about the hotel and the beauty of the area.
- 4/5
The breakfast it weas very poor, not quality food , and the attitude of staff on front desk and waiters it was not good . The housekeeping staff very nice . A little overpriced .
- 5/5
Everything was lovely
- 5/5
This was, hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The entire property was spotless, with every detail meticulously maintained. My room was a haven of comfort: the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom was modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
- 4/5
Loved the hotel our just had a couple hiccups. A bulbs were out and the bedroom tv didn’t work everything else was nice including front desk employees
- 5/5
Great staff great location I highly recommend and I will be returning
- 5/5
A nice room that was well maintained and clean with a comfortable bed. Location is fantastic and walkable to great restaurants, shopping and the aquarium. Check in BEFORE parking. The hotel parking allows you to leave and return without additional expense.
- 4/5
Liked how convenient it was to parking, pier 6 concert and Shirley cafe. All easy walks. Loved how they offered an up graded room at a very reasonable price. Enjoyed our stay very much.
- 5/5
Pier 5 is our home away from home. The staff is fantastic and we love both restaurants and feel like we have friends there! We will be back!
- 5/5
Great property! Quiet and great location.
- 5/5
Absolutely perfect
- 5/5
We loved the harbor view.
- 5/5
Top notch all the way in a beautiful area.
- 4/5
Hotel was a little outdated. Doors slam loudly even when trying to avoid it. Staff was pleasant enough but seemed slightly inconvenienced that I inquired about early check in. Actual stay was horrible due to no fault of the hotel. Neighbor was blaring music all night and their balcony backed up to ours and they were partying on the balcony so loudly that I had to call down to the desk in the middle of the night. Otherwise was a decent enough stay for 1 night. Super close to the aquarium and piers which was fantastic!
- 5/5
Great location!! We had an amazing experience and trip from check in to check out. The staff was great, location was great, and we had an amazing view of harbor from our balcony.

Only stayed 2 days but it was an amazing location
