Staff was very nice

This is our new favorite place to stay! The hotel is right downtown and within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms are beautiful! Loved the double-sided fireplace separating the bed from the sitting area and the rain shower head in the spacious shower. Quiet and relaxing.

My wife and I loved everything about Iron works hotel. The staff was top notch the steak house was delicious. So much to do in just walking distance. Will be back for sure perfect for a date night with my wife.

Allowing two dogs free of charge is a great bonus. The area is beautiful, and the lighting throughout the hotel is excellent—especially helpful for people with low vision. The hotel is ADA accessible, and the staff all have great attitudes and provide excellent service. The lobby is truly five-star, and the room is fabulous. I would give this hotel 5 stars. The only thing I noticed was a couch with some scratches that may need attention.

Me and my wife decided to have a getaway night without the kids. The hotel was immaculate. I was very impressed with the staff's kindness and going the extra mile for us. The room was unbelievable. Large, clean ,and very romantic. The view was perfect and the fireplace from both sides was very intriguing. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Ms. Diane really has improved Beloit tourism, and she should be recognized and shown great appreciation for what she has done for Beloit.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Nice location. We got in at about 8:30 in the rain, and snagged the last parking spot. It could have been iffy if we hadn’t.

The location was convenient & we enjoyed working out in the fitness center. Also, the overall aesthetic of the property was amazing! Our room was incredibly hard to regulate the temperature. We wanted the ambiance of the fireplace yet it would make the room 85° or more so we’d have to also open windows or turn the a/c on even though it was single digits outside. Also, we couldn’t connect to the TV to watch movies, which is something we enjoy in the evenings on our getaways. We had to move the couch & set up our laptop on the desk. We asked for assistance the 1st night & were told they’d try to reset the wi-go but it which didn’t work. Then the 2nd night a different person at the front desk explained they’ve never worked. She did say they’ll be swapping out all the TVs soon but we won’t go back because of the extreme temperature regulation problem.

Cool vibe

The tub drain was not draining super well ( room 317) and there were some paint chippings in the bathroom. Bed was a little hard. Elevator acted wonky at times.

The reason for me marking my stay as terrible is no fault of the hote. I was in an accident, so we were unable to come and stay. Really wrecked my visit.

Everything was wonderful, as were my previous stays here, except for one thing: there was an “old” smell noticeable in the elevator and hallway, and so I deducted a point.

Interior design was good. The history of the building. Staying true to local history. Members of the reception staff were particularly good & customer focused. The breakfast was poor - dried pastries & over ripe fruit & the coffee machine did not work for our entire stay. Water did not drain away properly in the basin & shower. There was an element of style over content , lacking in the details to make it better.

Room was clean and very nice. Didn’t do breakfast or anything like that, so can’t comment on much. We were only there for one night and it was a great experience. Would stay again.

We have stayed here before and truly enjoyed the property, room, hotel, etc. This stay we didn’t get the room we thought we reserved, the front desk wasnt very helpful, and the room had issues such as the fireplace did not work, loud noises from the traffic side, housekeeping barged in immediately after we had checked in. Overall not the experience we were lookin for. We would stay again, but get the room we actually want next time.

We were there to attend a wedding. It was an excellent venue for the occasion, The dinner and staff that helped with that were the best. The only issue we had was at check in. The fellow we had was terrible. Not informative at all, just not a person that should be working with customers. But everything else was great, so really hate to complain about anything.

We really enjoyed staying at the Ironworks Hotel while in Beloit to drop off our oldest child at college. Great restaurants and downtown shopping within walking distance, and a nice view of the river. The breakfast is limited but the coffee is delicious!

Super cool aesthetics Bed wasn’t very comfortable

We only stayed for a quick night and it was pretty good. We couldn't find the remote for the living room TV. Would have been a larger deal had our stay been longer.

Staff were incredibly accomodating. We had some challenges with reserving the same room for both nights but they quickly cleaned a room so we could get in and prepare for my nieces wedding!!! LOVE the fireplace!! We will definately be back!!

Well-appointed spacious room. Unfortunately, there were cobwebs on the windowsill and there is only one elevator for the entire building for guests and staff. Which resulted in long waits to vacate the building.

Perfect location for downtown walking - lots of restaurants and fun bars within steps. Near Riverwalk and got a 3 mile walk in one morning. Room was comfy and clean. All around great stay!

It was a nice stay. It was last minute for us and they were able to accommodate our dog. That was a plus since we were not able to Kennel him at the last minute.

Beautiful hotel, service was wonderful. The street noise is a bit loud but it didn't affect sleep. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, enjoyed our stay, close walk to several great restaurants.

Yes, I'm 5'2". The bed was so high off the floor that I had to build a "ladder" out of the extra pillows so I could get into the bed. Also, I wish the room had a chair other than the desk chair.

I did the like industrial look of the place. The fireplace was convenient too Not very kid friendly. Maybe that should be advertised when people are booking? No pool, no arcade, no vending machines. A little overpriced for the lack of amenities.

Stayed for a girls’ night. Had drinks at Goodwin across the street and then dinner at the steak restaurant. Staff were all friendly and our room was cozy, food and drinks were great! Love that it’s dog-friendly, too, so my pup came, too.

Great location in downtown Beloit. Right on the Rock river. We've stayed there before, and always had a positive experience. The staff are helpful, the rooms very clean.

I enjoyed how they turned this old manufacturing building and turned it into a hotel with a wonderful restaurant.

Room was great, parking is close. It's a great look into what Beloit is aspiring to. Will definitely be back For a hotel of this caliber, the complimentary breakfast was atrocious. The desk clerk did not greet us in the morning and did not offer to assist us with anything involving said breakfast.

Hotel was clean and the decor was awesome. Hotels.com had it incorrectly listed as having a pool. No intercom for after hours check in and the staff at night was quite rude.

Loved how things from the iron foundry was incorporated within the hotel. Very clean. Just the beds were uncomfortable, but I do have a bad back

The property is gorgeous and the room perfect for a nice getaway from the everyday. The hotel is SO amazing I wish the concierge at checkin was a bit more pleasant. Overall a must to stay again!

I love this Hotel, and its convenient location. We had a nice meal at Houston’s, and a rooftop cocktail across the street at the Hotel Goodwin. My few complaints are this. I thought both the pillows and bed were uncomfortable. Also, I would love if they had a little refridge to put left overs from the many great restaurants downtown.

The facility and room were excellent - very unique and very well maintained. Staff was friendly and it was very well facilitated in the center of the town. Would come again if Im traveling to Beloit again. Very minor feedback - the elevator going to the fourth floor was a little slow and the stairs were situated outside. But again - very minor inconvenience

Hope I'm not nitpicking but the lone elevator in the lobby is glacier-like slow plus the only ice machine is on the 3rd floor in a 4 floor property that charges in excess of $200 bucks a nite-think you guys can do better--otherwise location of hotel and absolutely superior quality of my room along with top-notch hotel staff will ensure my return-cheers!!

Ohhh hotel Iron works!!! What a GEM!!! We found Iron Works solely by accident, but we were so glad we did! Initially wanting to avoid Chicago, we looked at surrounding areas within an hour or two drive outside Chicago traffic in Wisconsin, as we were heading out to SD then Wyoming. Wow, what a great surprise! Iron Works is unique, clean, and cozy hotel all in one. The town of Beloit is quaint and charming. Many great restaurants is right next to or across streets from Iron Works. We went to the roof top bar across street in Hotel Gladwin and went to Truk’s for some great tacos and live music. Everyone was super friendly! We got a HUGE room with balcony overseeing the river. It was Fantastic! Highly highly highly recommend!

A cool and contemporary hotel built in the theme of the former Ironworks company. Every detail, down to the luggage carts, included details from the Ironworks. THe front desk staff was extremely helpful when there was a issue with our travel website booking. I will definitely stay next time I come back to Beloit.

Place was awesome. Probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at.

The ladies at the front desk the following morning were just fantastic! They were kind and made my sister and I feel very welcome. They went out of their way to help us. We wanted to purchase two of their coffee mugs and they made efforts to get us those two mugs. We had supper at their steak house and, as always, the staff were wonderful and the food delicious. The martini was just dirty enough! I’ve stayed at the Ironworks on many occasions. It is a beautiful, modern rustic hotel that is always impeccably clean and very roomy. The beds are very comfortable so insomnia after a long drive is not a problem. This stay, however, was the best stay as the front desk clerks were so great. I will be back when next I wander south.

I was very disappointed with housekeeping room wasn’t cleaned between nights stay dirty towels and garbage left in room

A couple of frustrations in that there was no shampoo in the room and the elevator was down for maintenance from 9 am to 1 pm. But nice location. Still no breakfast except coffee yogurt and muffins put on a counter. Wish a restaurant option. We do like the place!

Been staying here for about 5 years. Terrific hotel and staff.

We booked through orbitz. When arriving to the hotel we asked if they had any rooms available that had one king, they did and we asked if we could pay the difference to upgrade. They refused saying they could not change anything because we booked through orbitz. This is something I have done in the past so I knew it was false. The room was okay. The beds were the worst part. They were hard as a rock, the pillows were hard and extremely uncomfortable. The room needed work. There were a few holes in the walls around baseboards, and above our shower. There was also mold in the corner ceiling of the shower.

Beautiful, welcoming hotel and staff. Loved the view of the Rock River and that we could eat dinner in the hotel restaurant or walk a few blocks.

Stay was very nice and clean, no complaints on the facility. After checking out they charged us for the stay on top of paying through orbitz. So just keep an eye on your charges!

Perfect stay! Loved the decor, very clean room with attention to detail and great amenities. Perfect distance to walk to dinner.

Make sure you tell them you have pre-paid when using Expedia. Even though I did just that, they still put the room charge on my credit card. An easy fix with just a phone call, but annoying.

Beautiful hotel and steak place located in the hotel.

Check in service very slow. They had system problems with Credit card. It was on their end. Caused us to have to go back and run same credit card. Then another $50 dollar fee.

Hotel was great, food was excellent. Elevator was horribly slow.
