The Beverly Hills Hotel

This used to be a favorite hotel. The clientele is disgusting and cheap and weird. The bar once glamorous feels like a sleazy bad 80’s film without the cleanliness. My suite had construction and a non existent closet but it was large. It had a view of a parking lot. It was $4k a night. I moved to a full bungalow and those too were a bit badly in need of updates- ventilation and WiFi spotty. Cannot wait to see the upcoming refresh. It’s truly still a historic dreamy place for history and nostalgia -leave the cafeteria alone- but the rest needs love. Keep the Magnum PI vibes but Lise the grime and the yucky “dating” scene at night….bummer.

Truly a n amazing property. The Hollywood history is very amazing. Polo Lounge is great, breakfast outdoors is wonderful. Whole thing is a bit pricy, but I’ll b back.

The Polonlounge was great. We spent an entire day by the pool which we enjoyed From reading the history of the hotel I imagined the bungalow to be large with a sitting room. But it's very small. The bungalows have been subdivided. There was a power cut on the night of 18th May. The hotel generator only managed partial lighting in the room, not including the bathroom.

Yes, it's expensive - but it's worth it. Top notch in every way. It's an experience. Be sure to make a reservation at the Polo Lounge as well.

I have made a reservation here instead different hotel because of bikes. When I asked about them there was a big suprice. The only place you can go is a pool. I got a room which was next to very loud ventilation. For this price I expect luxury. I got an average hotel in an expensive neighborhood. It was so bed and not worth this price that I called Booking.com, ask for refund for the second night and leave after one night. Never again.

Beverly Hills Hotel is ultimate luxury

The hotel gave us an upgrade and lots of other goodies. The staff was excellent; very attentive, friendly and competent. The food in the restaurants was very good, as was the service and ambiance. No complaints. Great hotel, but the really spectacular part of the hotel is the beautifully tended gardens.

we had two nights at this famous hotel and really enjoyed our stay. we are belmond ancmd fairmont members and felt this hotel was up with the well known hotels. the polo lounge was excellent and vladimir really made us feel welcome at the bar. dinner was excellent as well, even after being told not to photograph friends with a fashion designer, we totally understood and apologized, though i was not in it 🙂...another shout out is to the woman from canada that checked us in and showed us to our superb room...i'm sorry i can't remember her name

We continue to be pleasantly surprised with each encounter at this lovely hotel. The food is impecable and the staff is over the top incredible. You can honestly sense that they love what they do. You can feel the passion when they dote on you. I would highly recommend eating all of your meals on the property when you stay there. I have traveled all over the world, and this is top notch!

Attempted to address this with reception and via email twice, however was ignored with all attempts.

The room was a bit deceiving from the online picture. The balcony view was of a wall covering the roof equipment not really a balcony view. For $1,800/ night could have been better Dinner at the Polo Lounge was awesome. Overall experience was good and private but for the price point could have been a bit better or more clearly represented online.

With all the hype, I was expecting WOW…..but I was completely underwhelmed

The staff are very helpful and courteous. The rooms are very spacious. If you can afford to stay, go for it.

You can feel the rich history of the property walking through the hotel. BUT…the up keep of the hotel doesn’t impede on the history of the place. The Beverly Hills hotel has modern amenities but still honors its history.

Would love a sauna and sadly we came for the pool and it rained. Super bummed. The staff was amazing. Chris, Fizal, sunny and everyone was truly amazing

We moved there because I have a breathing machine and electricity went off many times so I could sleep at all. To make matters worst while I was walking from bed to bathroom my feet got all wet as they had major leak from patio to inside the room. Nothing went right NOTHING

An absolutely beautiful experience! The Christmas decorations is so festive and magical. The room spacious and beautiful. The food and drinks are perfection. And the staff went beyond and far to be hospitable and professional. Love it. Would definitely go back. You have to try the soufflé at the Polo Bar

We LOVE LOVE LOVE The Beverly Hills Hotel!! The employees went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!! Everyone there is so tremendously kind and helpful, it keeps us coming back!! Chloe from guest relations is AMAZING!! She took such great care of us and she was so sweet to our 7 year old son!! He loved visiting with her!! She also gave our son the cutest Oscar for completing his scavenger hunt in addition she presented our son’s stuffed animal “Stich” an Oscar as well which made our son over the moon excited!! The pool staff are also incredible!! Blanca is so helpful and kind and it’s amazing that she remembers us each year when we arrive!! She is awesome!! We frequently stay at five star hotels and the Beverly Hill Hotel sets the standard!! Also, the Valet Team is incredible!! Watching them work is like watching a symphony!! We can’t wait to return!!

The service and special attention

Fantastic property. We own and operate hotels so we value the intrinsic value of hotels. The only downside I would say is the folks working at the Dior boutique that is seasonal for the hotel are very rude and put a damper on our mood but overall the hotel is phenomenal.

Incredible staycation! From two-weeks prior to our stay, through our last interaction with the bellman, we received first-class service. The facilities and staff are top-notch. Great food as well! Thanks Pink Palace for a great stay!

1) Elevators were not working well which caused delays 2) Lighting in the bathroom is terrible for doing makeup. We had to go sit in the chair by the window to be able to properly see. The lighted makeup mirror is not good enough, and using the big mirror is impossible.

The check in was smooth, we were walked to our room and had a balcony room overlooking the front so it wasn't quiet due to the busy road. Everywhere is perfectly maintained and super clean. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and top quality linen. The one thing we would have liked in the room is a coffee machine but that wasn't a major deal. The pool area is beautiful. When you arrive they set the sunbed up with towels and offer sunscreen. There is waiter service poolside, lovely cocktails. We found it very quiet around the pool and in the lobby - it lacked atmosphere I guess. Being one of the top hotels in the world it seemed very discreet and private. We are neither rich or famous, this was a one off for a 50th birthday, but we received the same service. If you aren't used to this type of service, its a bit strange. People around the pool called one of the attendants to put the parosol up or move it to give them more shade whereas we'd just get up and do it ourselves - how the other half live I guess! We ate at the Polo Lounge, food was amazing. It was very noisy in the indoor restaurant - everyone seemed to be competing to be the loudest - so we opted for an outdoor booth and it was very special. The cafe was great for breakfast, again a booth and top quality food and service in beautiful surroundings. Lastly the coffee shop, nice coffee/food options but its very small and dark in there

My only criticism would be the lack of response to emails and special requests. I phoned and sent emails with specific details and requests and none of these were answered. Not sure where the communication is breaking down. Would have like a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Its a bit of an inconvenience to have to call room service for a simple cup of tea. Otherwise our stay was amazing and I would stay here again.

This has been, by far, the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed at anywhere! Everyone was friendly. Lots of privacy and the property and grounds are beautiful! Meticulously kept. The pool was a blast and pool attendants were great! Valet was so fast! We met so many wonderful people! I can’t wait to come back!

Loved everything about the BHH! Excellent service, cosy rooms, attention to detail. The pool and the pool restaurant are a bit dated but it was still a very very great stay!

Amazing, friendly service. 100% of personnel were above and beyond with care. I also noticed that when being tipped every employee acted with gratitude and friendliness, with no entitlement, no matter the size of the tip. It was comfortable and refreshing. I have never received better service. Of course, it's a very expensive hotel, but worth it if you can afford it. We booked the cheapest room and were treated like royalty and the room was almost a suite. We enjoyed the free bike loan to ride around Beverly Hills. The pool and poolside are nice. The food and service at the Polo Lounge were amazing. Even the shopping was exceptional. I did not try the spa or hair salon. The location is great for a visit to Los Angeles. I booked through Hotels.com and was still treated as if I was the most important client. I got some emails from the concierge to make sure my stay was everything it could be. I was so impressed.

Absolutely met every expectation! Old Hollywood glamour in a completely updated hotel with every modern convenience. The front desk personnel were so courteous and friendly, the Polo lounge was so incredibly fun, and the pool staff was amazing. We can’t wait to come back.

Lovely hotel and nice staff. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Had an issue with our room shower flooding and long black hairs on the walls of the shower (my wife has blonde hair). Told the front desk, they were quick to have it cleaned and gave a decent credit off our bill for the inconvenience. This is how a five star hotel should act in such circumstances. The polo lounge restaurant was very nice too. I recommend this hotel too

We celebrated our Anniversary at the beginning of May and could not have been more impressed by their level of service. Tavi immediately upgraded us to a beautiful Bungalow, personalized with a beautiful platter of sweets and a picture of my husband and I, as well as a bottle of bubbly! It was that special touch that made our stay memorable. The grounds are impeccable. We loved dining at the Polo Club, food and service superb. The pool was a fun place to hangout for the day, having drinks and soaking in the California sun. We will most definitely be back!
