Clean room, helpful, friendly staff, free beach chair and umbrella and beach towels, so that was less for us to pack. We have a kitchenette area with a larger fridge which was really nice as well.

Looks like a motel, but it is so much more than that ... The rooms have been thoughtfully furnished. King size bed is very comfy. The shower is powerful. The fridge is big !! The room was incredibly clean and the staff really seem to care. The facilities are also amazing. Free coffee and breakfast in the mornings. You get 4 beach towels which you can renew every day. Ample free sunbeds and parasol on their private beach just across the road. A swimming pool if you dont fancy the beach. In addition the free AMI trolley stops right outside the property taking you the length of the island which is a real bonus. we took the trolley up to Pine Ave and walked half a mile along the beach to Bean Point which was amazing. Just a wonderful place !!!

The hotel was well worth the money to have free access to the beach including lounge chairs and umbrellas. They also provided free beach towels, but they were not full size ones. The staff was super friendly. The only very minor issue was if they are going to provide hard boiled eggs they should be peeled already as there’s no where to do that by the breakfast area.

Clean room, comfy bed, fridge, light breakfast, quiet at night. My favorite was the beach location right across street and they set up a beach umbrella and loungers for you. Beach towels also provided. I loved that beach wasn’t crazy busy. Pool looked nice & clean just didn’t get a chance to use.

The breakfast was grab and go, and there was a lovely selection every morning, outside seating was also available . There was also a number of BBQ grills available, as a dining option.

One of our favorite parts was having access to their private beach area with complimentary beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. It made beach days so easy and relaxing. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and very convenient with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave, which helped a lot during our stay. The staff truly stood out. Noah and Renee were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, especially helping us with a late checkout. That level of kindness really made a difference. The continental breakfast was simple but honestly perfect for what we needed before heading out for the day. It was nice not having to go out for every meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly beach stay on Anna Maria Island!

I really enjoyed our stay. Staff was so friendly and helpful even when we arrived late they were amazing to us. We loved the beach vibes in the decor and how close the beach was. Some bugs in the couch.

Great continental breakfast, excellent housekeeping, fantastic pool, beach towels, chairs and umbrella are a huge perk! Most rooms have decent size fridge and freezer plus small sink. Grills on site make dinner easy. Perfect beach to watch the sunset. Highly recommend!

Noah was VERY HELPFUL

Perfect location. Easy access to the beach and the bay, excellent for sunsets and sunrises. The free trolley stop was just outside, so very convenient. Close to Smoqehouse - excellent bbq sandwiches! The hotel provided beach chairs, loungers and umbrellas on the beach. The room was excellent and comfortable and had tons of storage. Really comfy bed and brilliant shower. Definitely you could see it had all been newly renovated with love and care about every detail. Lovely cheerful staff. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

Spotless room! I loved the extra pull down bed. I needed an elevator and they changed our room so my sister could use the elevator with her hurt foot. So convenient to walk across the street to the beach and enjoy it and the sunsets. The chairs are so comfy and convenient too. We loved everything about our stay but he warm friendly staff was the best. Especially Noah. WE really appreciate the welcome we recevied and even parking under a "carport" was amazing. Breakfast was great too. We want to come back soon! I would recommend to all of our friends.

The chlorine smell in the room made us ill and you can not even open a window to help. We checked out a day early, the next morning and were refused a refund for at least the be second night. Never ever would I recommend this hotel.

Our room was immaculate and facilities are clean and maintained. The staff was incredibly nice and we will definitely be returning.

Newly renovated, very ciean and a super-short walk across the street to the beach. Very nice continental beeakfast and loved the beach chair/umbrella setup service! Room has the perfect kitchenette stocked with all the basics items you might need and there are even 2 large outdoor propane BBQs and picnic tables where you can dine alfresco! Pool was clean and private at the rear of property. Would definitely visit again!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was fantastic, the room was top notch, breakfast and amenities were both on point. We can't wait until next time we visit and will certainly be staying at the Silver Surf!

We stayed at the Silver Surf for 4 nights in early September and I have to admit it was my favorite beach trip ever. You're right across the street from the private beach which wasn't crowded, not even on Labor Day weekend. It was so nice to be 100 yards from the room where all your things are at and even better is that the stay includes beach chairs and umbrellas set up for you on the beach. Our room was very clean and the staff was unbelievably good. Noah was especially good to us but all the staff was unbelievable. We left something in the room by accident and housekeeping found it and they called us before we were 15 minutes away, just great folks everywhere we looked. While there were plenty of restaurants in the area there are still some buildings that haven't recovered from last years Hurricane but they are working hard on it and be sure that the Silver Surf has fully recovered. We will be back next year.

Rene welcomed us and was so helpful with food recommendations, beach activities and really took her time to make sure we had information to help us for our stay. This resort is convenient, clean, cute and easy for a quick beach getaway!

I want to highlight the excellent services provided, especially by Noah, who was fantastic. However, I did have a less-than-ideal experience with the staff member managing the umbrellas. She seemed a bit aggressive regarding the tiki area and asked us about our room checkout in a manner that felt rude, almost as if she thought we were taking advantage of our stay. It would be helpful if the communication could be more friendly and understanding in the future.

Highly recommend! Staff was amazing! Very attentive, caring and easily reachable. Fresh towels daily, a bin with beach toys for kids, rooms were great, beds were comfortable, breakfast was convenient. No complaints! We will definitely be back throughout the year!

We loved it here. You can tell the staff has a personal connection with the property, they take such good care of it. They are so friendly and make sure you’re happy while you’re there. If we visit AMI again, this will definitely be our go to for a place to stay. Oh and you can’t beat that private little beach area!!

- Lovely pool & bar area - Big rooms and kitchenette in the suites - Access to the resort's other properties (particularly Three Waters which is the best place to hang out) - Free Rum Runner water taxi was brilliant and we also did a boat trip on it. The crew (Jen and Kristin were fab). Cons - Noisy / broken air con in the room which made it hard to sleep. - No crockery or cutlery in the kitchenette so completely unusable.

Just about everything you need for a fun stay. Very clean, modern, perfectly located, beach across the street with cabanas, chairs & umbrellas, option of beach massage, catamaran & jet ski rentals, outdoor pool is big and lots of loungers & tables plus a bathroom, grills, bicycles to rent, walk to restaurants, bay behind the hotel, room had good working A/C, king bed was comfortable, kitchenette has everything needed, large shower, lots of drawers & closet space. Plenty of parking spots for your car or golf cart. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Continental breakfast was average. Reasonably priced for April school vacation week- thank you! A few recommendations: 1. A shelving unit with a bench in the bathroom under the hooks for storage & a place to put your clothes would be helpful. 2. Murphy bed was very uncomfortable. Could use a replacement or mattress topper. 3. Half wall in shower allowed for the floor to get soaked. Maybe add a curtain to prevent this. Will stay here again and highly recommended this wonderful hotel.

Friendly and beachfront property

On arrival the resort is bright and clean, with plenty of parking. The rooms are of a good size and have plenty of storage. They are modern and clean. I’m plenty of towels and pool towels provided. The free breakfast is basic but a bonus. The beach is over a small rd where the traffic stops for you to cross. Wow it’s beautiful. The added bonus of sunloungers and parasols for guests is a huge plus point. A watersports company are there for jet ski hire and paddle boards etc they give a discount for silver surf guests. Watching the sunsets is a nightly ritual and each night it was different. There is a trolley bus stop outside the reception area which is perfect just scan the QR code to find out the next bus times. We toured the island on the trolley to familiarise ourselves. If you thought the sea was like a bath the resort pool was just as warm. Plenty of loungers and tables always clean. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There are two communal grills and bikes to hire. You are walking distance to the Bridge st area and several bars and restaurants. Publix can be accessed by the trolley or car but not walking distance. There is a circle K within walking distance for any necessities. We hired a golf cart for a fun way to get around. We felt the price point was very reasonable. The island still has some construction and demolition but nothing that would impact your stay.

The sheets had little beading on them, as if they’ve been used for some while. They were a little scratchy and rough.

2nd year we have stayed here and we love it! Perfect location! Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars, and shops! Always clean, spacious, and well taken care of. Our favorite part about staying here is the beach access with chairs and umbrellas provided by the hotel. Definitely recommend.

All of the staff is extremely friendly. The beds are REALLY comfy! The free breakfast was nice…the only protein is the boiled eggs, but it was always enough food for us to feel satisfied. The only recommendation I have is that they mop the room floors during the daily cleaning. They just vacuum it, so it feels pretty grimy if you walk barefoot in the hotel room. We would stay there again.

The property is right across the street to a beautiful beach where they have complimentary Loungers and umbrellas. In the same vicinity are water-sports for anyone interested. The room we had was a pleasant surprise with a small kitchenette, fridge, pod coffee maker and microwave. The room was modern and well supplied with bath and beach towels, kitchen stuff and extra pillows. The bed was super comfy, great blinds and shade and very little outside noise. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful every time we interacted with them. So many stores and restaurants, several within walking distance and the rest within a few mile drive. We loved everything about Silver Surf and can’t wait to go back!

The only bummers were: 1) The dish TV Guide was so incorrect you had no idea what was playing on any channel, you just had to scroll through every individual channel (like the old days). TV wasn't the focus of our trip so this was a smallish problem, but it made relaxing in the room a little less nice. 2) The walls were paper thin and I'm a light sleeper. The folks next to us in 206 had their TV at a perfectly reasonable volume but the walls were so thin I could hear every song and word. Also the people on the other side of us or above us were talking and if we didn't have a noise machine on, I probably would have heard their conversation.

The hotel and staff were amazing. Recently opened back up after the hurricane and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Great long weekend getaway before the winter hits us here in the Northeast! Brought my girl down for her Bday and just relaxed. They made it very easy.

We loved the convenience of being across the street from the beach & chairs, umbrellas, beach towels were included.The breakfast was great. It is grab and go so don't expect full breakfast menu but we enjoyed ours every morning.We didn't have to fix it and it was included!There were bagels, french toast, waffles, different pastries, granola and protein bars, 3 types of juice, hard boiled eggs. The pool was amazing but it closed at 8 pm. I read it was due to turtle season and being a law.We had a murphy bed and it was very comfy. They will clean your room every day if you want it. We are conservative at home and the same when away so we just put the do not disturb sign out and just changed our towels out with the office staff, which on that note. Noah and the WHOLE office team are wonderful. Actually every single person we encountered we so kind and seemed to really want us to enjoy our stay, the cleaning staff and maintenance included. So very friendly!The only thing that might be trouble for some is that only 1 vehicle is allowed so if you are meeting someone from a different direction/not riding with you.I'm not sure what you do.I'm sure there is a solution but since there was just the 2 of us we didn't ask.Thank you Silver Surf and we will definitely be back!Oh and ps there is a trolley stop right out front that takes you all over the island so no need to start your car back up or rent a golf cart.Do yourself a favor and take the pontoon ferry to Bradenton $6 roundtrip

As a person with back problems, sleeping away from home is difficult. The beds were extremely comfortable! Tons of storage in the room if you have a longer stay and very convenient beach chairs and umbrellas. Would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted and checked-in by Noah, who was super personable. This motel is in a great location, there are a few restaurants within walking distance and the private beach access was incredible. They offer free umbrellas and free beach chairs as well. We could see the beach from our front door! And Mother Nature did not disappoint with her gorgeous sunsets while we were there. Most sunsets we spent in their heated pool! Such a treat!

Location is close to dining, shops and beach. Only downside was elevator was out but everything else was fantastic! Service staff, housekeeping, quiet rooms and some covered parking spaces! We would definitely visit again.

I recommend this hotel, nice people front desk, a good location, good beds and pillows, and clean rooms, my children loved it, and everything was perfect except the quality of the breakfast and the staff that cleans and supplies food, it is uncomfortable to have a person complaining about the guests while they clean, and at the same time parked cleaning while you try to take the food, that is the only thing I did not like.

Not like: It's a motel marketed as a "resort". All seating to eat breakfast is outside on picnic benches. Have to cross busy street to the beach.

This property was perfect for beach activities. Very convenient for the free trolley and staff was friendly. We loved the close proximity to the beach and will recommend this place to others. We only had one issue and that was the language barrier. We were unable to communicate very well with cleaning staff.

So affordable and right on the beach. Beach umbrella and chairs included, renovated rooms, modern, clean and organized. Great pool. Island trolley has a stop right in the front of the hotel and restaurants walking distance. This stay was amazing.

Low water pressure only complaint

This was our fourth year coming to the island and Silver Surf was our favorite. Right across the street from the beach. Towels, chairs and large umbrellas are provided. The pool is large and can accommodate a lot of people. Rooms are clean and have everything you’d need. We opted for two rooms with the kitchenette, they have a bit more space. Nice continental breakfast in the morning and the location is walkable to several places to eat and have a drink. 5 stars for sure!

Overhypped, dirty , small rooms, water strength in the shower is inexistent , access to the beach is not direct and you need to cross a dangerous road for the kids. Pool unsafe for kids and in general is a very old place

Great people working here, always clean, great breakfast spread variety, easy parking, right across from their own white sand beach including chairs/umbrellas, very cool modern room design, and grills outside if you want to throw on your fresh caught fish. What's not to like? We don't usually use the same place twice, but when we go back to Anna Maria, this one is a no-brainer! Book it.

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean and bed was so comfortable!! Anna Maria I stand is beautiful!

Everything close. Only thing I didn’t like but it didn’t affect my stay is that it is really dark at night outdoors the buildings.

This property is easy to find and a very short walk across the street to a beach where chairs and umbrellas are provided. The room is modern and the bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We enjoyed our short stay at this basic old style motel. The rooms are very clean, and completely updated. Tons of storage, comfortable bed, walk to beach right across the street. Breakfast offerings were adequate, very friendly staff, great location - everything we needed. Highly recommend.
