Aloft by Marriott Broomfield Denver

We've already paid in full through Expedia, but hotel have charged us again. We have to provide them with a receipt and other documents. Hopefully, they'll give us a full refund. Hotel said their computer system was updated two days ago, which is why we weren't aware of the payment made through Expedia.

2 things of concern. During my 4 night stay my plan was to relax and watch the NHL and NBA finals on TV. Somehow these network channels were not available either in my room or in the bar downstairs. The other concern was when I checked in I was told there would be coffee available 24/7 as my departure was very early in the AM. Maybe I should have asked if HOT coffee was available because when I departed, the available coffee was cold.

Couldn’t use the pool the heater was out in it

We loved our stay. However, the room was very noisy, the A.C. and some other ventilation system came on frequently and was loud. I had to sleep with ear plugs and the hall had a funky smell, like a wet dog. The beds were comfy, the service was great, the location was perfect. I would stay again.

The environment of the front desk lobby area, it was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The colors and decor of the room were comforting and not overly colorful. The fact that there was no fan within the bathroom to drown out the noise of someone peeing or tooting. The TV remote was not working to change channels; the only things that worked were the volume and the power.

I felt very safe My room smelled a little funny but it could have been me.

We travel a lot for softball and this is my favorite hotel so far. Loved the room kay out, the beds didn't hurt my back the next day and fun things to do in the lobby. Elevators took a long time

Our room had definitely not been cleaned in a while. There were sticky drink rings on the desk areas. The room also had a sewer type odor that never really went away. We were only there for one night, so it was perfectly fine for that purpose. Close to Wal Mart and food options. Easy to get back to Denver or golden.

Clean room, easy check in, lots of parking. Odd layout of room. Layout or room and common areas felt unconventional for the sake of being unconventional, not improvements on a more conventional hotel. Small closet space. Strange system for breakfast. Breakfast quality was mediocre.

The only negative I had was the hotel restaurant was absolutely disgusting. I tried their highly rated main dish of tikka masala. It came out cold and was absolutely disgusting it had a weird hot sauce on it that provided no flavor or spice would not recommend anyone eat there

Pool was ice cold, token weight room machines, elevators were super slow and then 1 of 2 was out of service the entire weekend.

My husband & I were in for a business trip & initially booked for a couple days. Due to client needs, we continued to have to extend our stay for 3-4 days. The staff was “annoyed” because we came down in the morning to ask them to extend, pay & cause time into their day. This hotel is empty for a reason. Marriott is a descent chain, this property should be ashamed of themselves. Customer Service 0.

Decent hotel close to Boulder, but understaffed and poorly run. Ran out of food and coffee cups by 6:30 am the morning of CU graduation. Hotel was busy, but not packed. They could have planned better. Will not stay here again - there are better options in Broomfield at the same price point.

Staff was more than helpful, the rooms modern and clean, a late checkout time, bar, restaurant, games, pool, all good!

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, however, we were greatly dissatisfied with the complimentary "Continental" breakfast that consisted of uncut bagels and warm cream cheese spread, stale muffins, warm coffee, LOTS of yummy individual cereals, but NO MILK.... We asked the girl at the front desk for some milk and she said, "oh I don't know, let me go see..." and she quickly returned and said, "no, we are out- sorry" and returned to her perch to continue doing what she was doing. They did offer omelets and French toast and various other breakfast items cooked to order and delivered to your room or to a table in the lounge, but the least expensive dish I saw on the menu was $16.00... Our room was welcoming and I loved the grand windows! For the most part, everything was clean, plenty of towels, great layout, funky and fresh, comfy beds with clean linens, but as my partner and I moved the bench over so we could both sit at the desk, there was a really unsettling dark red splatter/ stain on the wall! It creeped us out, so we put the bench back, and I volunteered to follow up on my work on the bed. Did not expect that at all! The water flow in shower was awful too! The pool was VERY tiny, like hot tub size, and no hot tub! That was very unfortunate as well. Again, overall, I enjoyed the comfort and style of the rooms and the hotel in general, but the customer service and common basic things that are generally covered at a hotel of that price point need some serious revamping....

Hotel seemed fairly new. Rooms were very nice and quite stylish. Parking was easy. There isn't much around the hotel if you need to get food. Rooms are a bit small.

Comfortable, clean modern room, well thought out layout, quiet, location was perfect for our needs. Staff super friendly and helpful. Location was great for us but may not suit everyone. There is a regular bus service but access to a car is a benefit.

The room ac stopped working so we had to sit in bed while maintenance worked on it. After accusing me of not knowing how to use the ac or a thermostat he finally found that it wasn’t working and they finally switched us to another room

I loved how it felt welcoming when you first entered the hotel. Everyone was nice and genuine. Upon arrival I asked about the placing for breakfast and how it all worked and the front desk told me everything I needed to know. I felt safe here! Upon booking I thought breakfast was a buffet style setting. I always prefer it that way because I get to make my own food. I don’t like my food too sweet(the pearl waffles were on the sweet side to me). I only ate breakfast one morning even though I booked my stay for 4 nights. I also did not like the mini fridge I felt it was to small and I did not have a microwave in my room so I wasn’t able to heat up my food or save food for later.

Room was clean, nicely appointed. Staff was great and the facility is quite nice. The 1 King Bed was fine for 1 person, perhaps 2, but that is it. It's small, but efficient. Shower was nice but the door didn't seal so after shower the floor was all wet with water. Not a big deal but just a couple small things that would make it a bit nicer. Coffee station was well stocked and nice for morning coffee. A couple bottles of water were included which was a nice touch. 3 sets of towels, bed was comfy and the thermostat worked well. When I bumped it up a few degress it worked and the heater was quiet which was a pleasant suprise. The room warmed up quickly. Blinds were nice and blocked out the morning sun. I was very pleased with my stay.

What a great place to stay before my best friends wedding! Nice and quiet, awesome bar downstairs, the room was extremely clean and comfortable and the hair dryer and free soaps were DryBar sponsored so that was dope! Only complaint is that there wasn’t a bathtub but there was a delightful little coffee bar and mini fridge. The staff were very friendly as well!

My stay was horrible- First of all they did not give me the room that I reserved on line. They said when I reserved the room that it was probably false advertisement due to using hotels.com. I have used hotels.com and have never heard of such a thing. I had a room that was small with two beds instead of the room with the living room and king bed- I was embarrassed and very disappointed.

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were great and helped our room stay clean and stocked. My only negative was we had to pay for breakfast. Some people had vouchers but not sure where, why or how they had them.

Stayed 4 nights, on check out day the cleaning crew knocked on the door at 8:45 AM, we told her we would be a while. Knocked on door again at 10:30 and I confirmed that check out time was NOON and we’d be leaving at NOON then. No change available for washer/dryer and very expensive.

My reservation that was booked 2 months in advance was cancelled by the hotel 51 mins before the check in time. I will never book at this hotel again.

Property was amazing. I did get an email that my room was sold, but when I got there they had a room for me. So I am a little confused by that. The staff was so wonderful and allowed me to have a little later check out. Would highly recommend.

We started late the first day so all we asked for were towels. Yesterday no one ever came we had to tell front desk to ask them to bring them to our room. I was not happy with that at all.

Booked online after having a flight delays, next flight canceled, baggage missing and will be arriving late to my scheduled event - whole purpose for traveling - just to arrive to the hotel to be told they’re at 100% capacity. Not sure why I was allowed to book if there was no availability. Horrible experience.

I used the fitness room. We ordered hot breakfast. Service was quick and accurate.

Rooms were clean and spacious. It was cool to see Dry Bar branded products in the hotel as well as they are good quality.

Whoever designed the shower needs a new job. There is no seal or anything to divert the water around the shower door so the floor is always covered in water, and if you are not careful, it can be a lot of water.

The check in was so confusing and terrible. The hosts do not know anything about hospitality of welcoming a customer. Second, the bathroom had a leak under the sink, so water leaked all night running my sleep. Next the the whole floor was wet. Breakfast was included but frankly it was not pleasant at all

Nothing was clean in our room and everyrhing was outdated. The food was awful and it was unbearable to sleep at night thanks to the room being so hot due to the AC barely working. Awful stay will not return

Wasn’t the room we thought we booked and they did not have what we wanted. Shower water flooded the floor with every shower. Sink clogged. Had to flush the toilet twice each time. Stained sheets. No ice makers in the hotel. No internet except for the lobby. Last morning of our stay the ceiling fell through outside our door. Took the staff 2 hours to respond. Water leaking from ceiling. Floor soaked. We would like a full refund. Terribly uncomfortable stay.

It would have changed my bookings if I was told up front that the internet was down and no one had an idea as to when the system would be back up and running. The internet in the lobby was useless as everyone in the hotel was using this service. The carpet was wrinkled down the center of the hallway. I was not paying attention and these creases caused me to trip. Not impressed at all

The property itself was safe and clean but the room that I was put in was definitely not the room I was shown on Expedia I was expecting a room that had a living room and a bedroom but nope it was a just a single King size room and it shows something completely different on Expedia so I was very upset and felt like I way overpaid I feel this should be refunded because it's false advertising

Staff was nice and helpful. Our tv remote at our room was no where to be found. Couldn’t watch tv, using the physical buttons on the tv didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. One side of the bed’s night stand area was dusty. Everything else like the lobby was adequate.

While the property looks nice aesthetically, the inside and run of the onsite registration staff cannot accommodate fully. My room was not exactly as described and therefore not worth the lodging cost. We probably won't return. No hot running water, no microwave, room key card not working. Not worth it if you are tired from a long driving trip.

The WiFi has been out for a week prior to our arrival. We did get a notification about it but thinking it would be fixed sooner rather than later. No. There’s not even good cell service. You have to get against your room window. The lobby has a locked WiFi that you only get if you ask for it.

The facility and staff are wonderful! Highly recommend staying here.

Problems w/ internet was biggest issue, none in room whatsoever. A/C didn’t go down lower than 68…very loud fan. Great shower and bed. Bar in lobby was convenient and decent. The lobby internet worked but only intermittently.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We were only there one night but it was a quiet and very comfortable stop. A great option if you are traveling with your dog.

This place is too modern for my taste. The room had no drawers but, cubbies that didn’t fit everything. The closet space is minimal. The WIFI if not on there specific one is shot. If you’re doing business on your private VPN or hotspot, it will not pull up at all. A lot of frustrated business professionals were in the lobby trying to get some work done but, to no avail. I would definitely not do an ALOFT again.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Decent property - clean, good amenities, helpful staff, etc…but we encountered numerous facility issues throughout our stay. They included no internet/WIFI for 2 days, malfunctioning AC, and non-working toilet. Repairs within the room were promptly made, so kudos to the maintenance staff.

Great suburban property. Quiet, safe and easy access to food, shops and major roadways. Arrived very late, and options for healthy food were available in the lobby - which was great. The room was very comfortable.

I was going to have a glass of wine but the bartender was not there. Seemed to be doing something else. I waited 20 mins and gave up. Other than the that the place was great 👍

The ruooms were small. The shower had mold in it. The price wasn’t bad. The front desk staff, however, was very attentive and the highlight of the entire stay

To make things more frustrating, I originally considered staying at Aloft Westminster but was told over the phone that they required a $250 cash deposit instead of a credit card hold, which seemed excessive. So, I opted for Broomfield/Boulder instead. We still had an amazing night out, and the hotel itself was fine, but not being able to enjoy the amenities we planned for really impacted the experience.

I love a loft hotel. The name said it all. The hotel is always clean and well organized has a bar and some food options which is always a plus when you are tired and don't feel like driving anywhere.

Nice hotel, affordable but some of the equipment is dated. AC in the room was loud and I had to change rooms. I was here for a conference and the hotel staff could not get the audio equipment in the room to work. I have been at the Omni nearby and I like it better.

Pool wasn’t working

Enjoyed my one night stay. AC is a little loud/room temp hard to regulate and sat at the bar for about 20 minutes before anyone served me which is why I gave 4/5. Front desk staff was very welcoming and attentive to me upon arrival/departure. Rooms are very nice and clean. Would stay here again.

Went with family; third stay w Aloft in Broomfield. Really loved the cleanliness, the beds, the ease of controlling room temperature, the set up, the friendly staff unfortunately, we were disappointed in some of the amenities which we used well. The condition of pool table was useable but poor; 2 if the aerobic machines were out if order; but the pool was great!!

It was nice however check out is at noon and housekeeping was knocking on my door an hour prior even though I had a come back later door hanger also when I did step out to take my first Load to my car they had the housekeeping carts right there parked next to my room. That was rude.

A good location for the Denver area

The rest of the room seemed to be in good condition, and the design was sleek and inviting, but encountering an issue like this immediately dampened my impression. Clean, fresh linens are a basic expectation for any hotel, and this oversight left me hesitant about recommending or revisiting this location.

This is a nice place to stay! Close to Flatiron Mall and other smaller shopping areas. Easy to get to Boulder as well. Comfortable, clean and quiet with a nice staff!

Elevator waiting area window looked right into my room window. Bit of a shock. Hall carpets pretty dirty at edges. Don't get vacuumed very much. Windows (exterior) need a cleaning.
