We were very happy with our stay at the Fairfield Inn in Buda, Texas. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Also, I really loved the area where the hotel is located and felt safe taking morning walks. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was relatively clean except for the mildew in the shower grout, and my husband found a significant amount of dark hair on his clean bath towel. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed our stay. The breakfast choices were awesome.

Clean, comfortable, and stylish with a fun modern vibe. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was great, and even with lots of guests, the hotel still felt peaceful and relaxing.

Staff was always friendly. Hotel was super clean. Breakfast was warm, clean, and fresh. Gym had enough equipment for a good workout and open 24 hours. Hotel was in a good location and we enjoyed it was a 2 min drive to beautiful Main Street.

The room wasn’t clean when we got in. The bathtub was dirty had hair in it. Breakfast was good for what it was. Glad they had a gf option. The room was fine but the drawers on the night stand and the dresser were broken and the door hung open on the nightstand. And the dresser drawer wouldn’t open. I would’ve expected better from a Fairfield.

Parking was good and well lit, the a/c in the room was so loud if that didn’t keep you awake the horrible mattresses definitely hurt my back and my husbands back and neck… never again will I stay there unfortunately

Great location close to restaurants checkin was fast and seamless, room was very clean, We were there for a Volleyball tournament so the halls were busy and loud from kids running and only one working elevator. Other than that our stay was pleasant.

Location was good. We didn’t have breakfast. I can’t say we liked anything. The hotel had no hot water. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were so bad our necks hurt. The room I rented for my daughter was unacceptable. The bathtub was so filthy she couldn’t have used it if she had hot water.

Full breakfast was an added big plus.

The manager the next day was super accommodating and understanding. She was not told there was no hot water by the staff. She just happened to come in that morning to a bunch of upset people. When we told her about how dirty the bath tub was and showed pictures, she was disgusted and incredibly apologetic. The pics do not truly show how bad it was. Cleanliness. The bath tub was FILTHY! There was a ring of dirt around the inside and the corners were dirty as well. There was zero hot water as well in the building. Extremely disappointing. The refrigerator was hardly cold. The room we stayed in had a lot of noise on the outside too. You could hear all the traffic. The beds were hard and the pillows were terrible and lumpy.

Absolute wonderful service, the hotel was clean and fresh, I spent 2 weeks here with my partner and it was a very convenient location, the staff were so lovely and friendly we were in walking distance to all the shops.

Worth the money

Some of the hot breakfast items were not very appetizing... the scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon were not up to standard... In my opinion. My wife strongly believed that the bed sheets had not been replaced with fresh linens before our arrival. The sheets beneath the comforter were in disarray.

The bed was comfortable, nice staff, and nice cold AC and it was clean. The breakfast was ok. The juice machine didnt work and the toaster didnt toast the bread on both sides. There was warm orange juice in a pitcher. They can surely afford to replace the toaster and have cold juices.

Great place to spend the night

Our stay was for 2 nights. Our room was ready and cool when we arrived. There are many restaurants in the area so you don't have to travel much to have a nice meal. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with plenty of seating. The only thing that wasn't brought to our attention was that housekeeping was every other day. Not a biggy, just had to get towels from front desk.

The staff were delightful. Their “snack shop” had a variety of options. We were bummed that the hot tub was not working. At check in we asked if the pool and hot tub were in service we were told “yes, it was fixed yesterday”. The hot tub water and pool water was freezing cold. So we couldn’t enjoy the amenity. That was really the whole reason we booked with the hotel. We didn’t like that the shower curtain was too short. When we got out of the shower the floor was soaking wet, and had to use the towels to clean the floor which left the towels soaked. We did enjoy the continental breakfast. There was a variety of options to choose from. The oatmeal bar was my favorite! The coffee was also great as well! We also liked there were plenty of options of places to eat near by, and also a Walmart and HEB just down the street. The room was spacious, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved that the room had USB plug in and not just adapter plug ins. I cannot stress how delightful the staff was! Even with the downs. We enjoyed our stay over all!

My only complaints are that housekeeping failed to leave washcloths, Kleenex & that the toilet was extremely low which is a challenge for elderly.

When i arrived the front desk was unable to provide room keys. They let me into the room but then I couldn’t leave without them having to let me back in every time. Something about the computer updating (slowly). Major inconvenience. The hot tub was not working which I had been looking forward to after a long drive. The bed needs an upgrade. It is quiet here, but then it was a Monday night. It’s just your average mid budget hotel.

Very dated hotel internally. While the breakfast is “free”, the eggs taste like they’re powder and the coffee from the coffee pots was lukewarm. Property is in need of a renovation.

I gave 4 stars for 1 of the survey questions, I believe it was comfort. We had a king sized bed but the pillows were for a queen or possibly smaller. Definitely not a deal breaker, I will stay here whenever I need to stay in Buda.

Not having cable for 4 days was unacceptable.

Not good: Cable was out, but sign in's worked well. Not good: The Hot water in the shower was lacking. Would get very Loud when running heat in shower. Good: Breakfast had some nice options. despite the waffle batter dispenser broke.

Cable tv wasn’t working for my entire stay

Overall was great,the only bad part is that the rooms did not have cable TV,was not able to watch the Kansas City Chiefs lose.

The hotel was very clean which we loved. The bathroom was nice & spacious. The cable tv was nit working for whatever reason but that was not a problem we were exhausted from our drive. The only drawback from our room was that the AC made an annoying noise all night. Other than, I hope to stay here again!!!

The bed was poorly made, with the sheets coming loose. The bath towels were dirty. There was no sliced ​​bread for breakfast. It was my worst experience at a Marriott hotel.

While the property was clean and the staff courteous, the bed was as hard as a rock. We won’t be staying here next year, as we slept fitfully and woke up with hip and back pain.

We enjoyed the variety for breakfast and that there were healthy options. We enjoyed the gym and hot tub also. Can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

The only problem I have with Marriott is there was no way to get on the wi-fi without joining Bonvoy. It just infuriates me any time I have to join something I don't want. Are you really that hard up for membership? I'm not sure if I will stay at another Marriott property again.

Good for a quick weekend

Cable channels were out the whole weekend. Unable to watch World Series.

I didnt like that the hotel wound up being very noisy in the early morning and i didnt like the brown wear and tear all around the shower :(. The customer service was good for the most part though.

Issues were NO CABLE for entire stay, no internet on first night (very complicating that requires front desk to work with another internet provider to get your laptop connected), and keypad door access. HIGHLY recommend to look at other hotels within the area instead of this one. This was my worse hotel stay in all of 2024.

The hotel did not have TV you could only watch streaming channels if you had streaming channels. The hallway smelled a little like sewage and the bath did not have necessary items like bath soap.

Booked the room for my sons family and I accompanied them during the check in, which was quick and painless. The hotel was very clean along with the rooms and breakfast area. My son said they had one of the best breakfast's that he has had in all his hotel stays.

This is one of the better hotels we have stayed in, they have a nice clean pool with hot tub. Hot tub was not really hot, but pool was warm..only stayed one night as we were passing by but it was a great hotel, friendly staff and clean room.

Property overall was nice but online they are listed as having a “hot tub” but it’s more of just a small extension of the pool and is not hot - at all. It was a bit dingy in the pool area but fine. My friend and I came and were really disappointed by the hot tub as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Room was clean, staff was friendly so nothing to really complain about.
