When we first arrived the employees were very nice and was a good start. Then we walked down to our room and the haul smelled pretty bad and was very hot. Then we went in our room and it smelled like cigarettes. I believe that is from the smoke coming from the halls going underneath the door. People would smoke right outside the doors on both sides. Plus the pool was very very dirty. My son went out there to swim the first day and it was so disgusting.

Not much Super small room for the price ac was totally off when I got in the so it was really hot I stayed a month in motel 6 and the ac was full blast when I got to motel 6 and the room was much bigger then this place and way cheaper

This is how I perceived about the hotel while staying a night. The hotel had little intention to satisfy its guests, but cared about the cost cuts. Here are some of memorable moments: 1. I Booked for 2 beds, but got only 1 bed with sofa bed. No other room was available. (I paid in advance.) I was pointed to a fine print stating, "You may not get what you want" in my itinerary. 2. I witnessed double booking. I saw two guests came at the front saying "They came to my room saying this is theirs." 3. The room was hot at 81°F and humid upon arrival. I talked another guest that some room was hotter than mine. No AC was on for arriving guests. The temperature had stayed at 76 ~77 °F for hours until we slept. 4. The lights were too bright. Anything (including AC control panel) were so bright that one can shine the entire room at night. 5. Bathroom, mirror, and bed fixed or set that a light in the bathroom sines faces of people sleeping. 6. Shower head was so high and jet was set that water just blast your head or face. 7. Shower glass door has gap and the jet water is aiming the gap. 8. Bring own shampoos. The hotel's small bottles shampoo made the hair frizzy. 9. I found a baby roach in the shower room. 10. Breakfast juices were diluted. 11. While we were getting ready for check out, a service person opened the door (by mistake) for cleaning. Well, it was before 9 am.

The best thing about our stay was the staff. They were friendly and made good recommendations for restaurants. They were also very helpful for other issues. The hotel itself was very dirty. One of our rooms smelled like food. There were several places in the room that needed to be thoroughly cleaned and repaired. There was evidence that some repairs were attempted but done so in a way that was done hastily and improperly. The whole room smelled like mildew. The pool had algae so we advised the younger members of our group not to swim in it. The gym and the breakfast area were also lacking in quality and variety.

The av seemed to be out in the actual hotel, the room was fine. Rooms were smaller than the average hotel room. Pool light was hanging out of the pool. And the room smelt like smoke even though it wasn’t a smoking room

Excessive loitering in the parking lot after hours. Cops were banging on the door next to us at 1am. Breakfast was basically non existent due to overcrowding. We left and ate at a restaurant near the hotel. Will not stay at this hotel again.

The showers definitely need to be updated but otherwise the room was clean and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel lobby and grounds were great and location was perfect.

The ac worked. The bathroom/shower didn’t seem to be cleaned prior to my arrival. Breakfast was available. It wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worse. The price was worth the stay.

The property itself feels old and outdated despite attempts to modernize it. There were stains on the bed cover and the carpeted floor. Sloppy paint job and bubbling wood. That being said, it was as clean as you can get for the age, staff was friendly, and beds are comfortable. Overall okay budget hotel.

The breakfast was simple but nutritious. Me and my family enjoyed it and it made us sated. The only thing to improve is a gym. The equipment was pretty old. The room was old as well. But the pieces that I used were working and it helped me start my day with more energy.

We immediately left the room and went to check-out and inform the front desk. The women working the desk could not have cared less, nor did she seem surprised. The only positive thing I can say about the experience is that the following day a woman named Bresa who handled my call about a refund was very nice, apologetic and professional. I appreciated her helping very much.

The room was great until we had no hot water to take a shower. I got with Nate at the front desk & he checked the hot water heaters & 1 was tripped & he would reset it & it would keep tripping. Nate was quick to continuously check the water heaters & they wouldn't stay on. He contact the manager & was told he would come & see what going on. I got with Nate when we got back @ 11pm & he was told a plumber was coming, I asked him if he can switch us to a different room that hot water & he was quick to assist us.. i stay at the hotel quite offten & Nate is always a pleasure to deal with.

Bathroom wall and baseboard were dirty and hair dryer didn’t work. One of the queen beds was very squeaky and lumpy.

The room was clean and the hotel was in good condition. The breakfast was poor, or nothing more than cofee and te. We decide to by ham and cheese in the supermarket to eat something at the mornig.

Water for showering was not hot at all n I bathed in cold water n then I saw 2 roaches.I believe that I should get a free stay.

An ADA room was booked for my 84 yr old father. Room had no bars in bathroom (neither toilet or shower) and the bed was very low making it difficult and dangerous. It had a roll in shower with a chair- good. The hallways on one end smelled like pee. Staff was wonderful

The staff was great. The room was small but comfortable. The biggest issue for me was the small sink area in the bathroom. There’s no place to sit anything, had to sit stuff on the toilet.

Overall the price is right and all the shops in the area. However, it needs better ventilation. The bathroom had a really foul smell, like when moisture is trap or wet clothes are yet damp.

On top of that, the hotel clearly advertises itself as a non-smoking environment, yet there was absolutely no enforcement of this policy. The smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke lingered in the halls and even seeped into our room. It was frustrating to deal with, especially for those sensitive to smoke like our children. Between the visible lack of cleanliness and the complete disregard for enforcing rules that should protect guest comfort, I cannot recommend this hotel. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements, because as it stands, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The Microtel staffmembers were nice. Thrle room was clean. The parking area was wide.

We got to breakfast at 8am and everything was gone. The only thing you could make was waffles. The waffle burner burns them on the outside but still not cooked on the inside. The hallway smelled like marijuana when we arrived. But the staff were very courteous and the room was clean.

The hotel is noisy, the beds are rockhard, pillows are rock hard, hard to sleep with door, slamming all night. Pool was nothing like advertised and dirty. Staff was amazing.

We were perfectly satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly. The nightly rate was the best of hotels in this area. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping serviced our room daily without being asked. I feel a 3.5 star rating does not accurately represent the quality of this establishment.

First. Let me say that every staff member we encountered was friendly and very helpful. We checked in and went to room 228 to find the door open and still in the clean up process. The room was very nice with a great bathroom that looked new. We went back down and the front desk personnel apologized and gave us a new key for a downstairs room. That room was clean, but older looking and not as nice a bathroom. It was fine, though. Breakfast was great. Our only complaint was the thin walls. We could hear conversations from both our neighbors like they were in our room and they went on until the wee hours. I did mention that to the gentleman at the front desk when we checked out. Overall, I’d recommend it for the value, cleanliness and customer service.

In the first room we checked in there was mode in the restroom than we got. New room the vents smelled mode and musty like a smell of cheese like old water in the ac a lot of time we just kept turning it off because of bad the smell was 4 days 3 nights

The hotel was okay. The pool didn’t have enough chlorine and the pool area was very unkept. There was some riff raff happening in the parking lot, which didn’t feel super safe. The room was clean. Breakfast on a weekend ended at 9a, which felt too early. No flexibility for a later check out even though the hotel was far from full. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites and was pleasantly surprised by how much value this hotel offers. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel didn't skimp on the essentials: fast Wi-Fi, a good selection of TV channels, and a complimentary breakfast that had enough variety to start the day right. Location-wise, it was conveniently situated near restaurants and shopping, with easy access to the highway — perfect for travelers on the go. I’d definitely stay at a Microtel again. It’s a reliable, clean, and comfortable option for both short and long stays.

Room was out of date nothing like the photos provided, room smelt terrible, service from managers was terrible. Paid with cash and never was told that cash is no refundable on paper or in person after looking at the room for not even less than 3 minutes.

It’s located in a good area near fast food, good service stayed for my sons graduation not far from downtown Austin only thing and not sure if it was just my room but we stayed 3 night didn’t have a closet or anywhere to organize clothes.

Location is good. Clean hotel room. Breakfast was good. Staff was accommodating and nice. Hotel itself definitely needs patch work done in some areas of the room/restroom as far as construction_maybe it was a shotty job the first time esp baseboards don’t meet the floor in some areas needs repairs but cracked titles and no shelves in shower to put items etc overall ok.

Apparently they share their parking lot with the Dance Hall across the street. The parking lot has signs that “others will be towed” but per the front desk it is not enforced. Not recommend.

The hotel room was fine and comfortable. Clean. However upon arriva,l the parking lot had sketchy looking individuals lurking around and giving bad vibes. One car was stopped in the middle of the drive and not moving so we had to back up and go around another way to the front entrance. Breakfast was ok.

Even though the place was immaculate, staff was amazing and great location... we kept finding coackroches in our room. Room 306 needs fumigation. We had to throw away snacks due to finding the little roaches in them I'm a blink of an eye!

Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a very strong smell when we first walked in the room. Maybe it was some kind of cleaner or strong air freshener smell? I’m not sure what it was, but it was very noticeable and it was pretty strong. No hair dryer installed in the bathroom so I had to use one they brought up to our room after we called while the holder that was supposed to be attached to the wall dangled because it was all one piece. No iron in room. No place to hang clothes. TV was very difficult to work. We had to get 3 remotes for it while we were there. Breakfast not appealing. Our room keys wouldn’t work on our last night so we had to go down to front desk and get new ones. These are not huge issues, but if you’re looking to stay more than one or two nights, and the things mentioned above are important to you, I would recommend not staying here. The positives were that the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room and bathroom were clean.

It was a comfortable stay

I will never stay at a Microtel again especially this one in Buda. After two nights of dealing with both rooms on the side of us smoking cigarettes ( in nonsmoking hotel ) i complained and they never did anything about those people but said I would have to move or stay in the room, so i moved rooms with my family and a ton of stuff. Then in the new room, over the next several days we exeprienced 3 roaches. And those were only the ones we saw and caught so who knows how many more roaches were hiding in that hotel. Complained. After a week still no call back, finally spoke to district manager and he said since we booked through expedia we would have to go through them for any type of compensation. So after days of back and forth with expedia i was advised that Microtel Hotel by Wydham denied my request and were firmly standing on their cancellation policy. To say I'm disgusted by the way that hotel is run is an understatement. I will never stay there again. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

The property was very dirty looking. My room felt dirty. Huge stain on the bedspread. A cockroach ran out from the behind the wall in the bathroom while I was in there! The bathroom door didn't even close all the way. Water was barely warm enough to shower in. No kleenex, iron, hangers in the rooms. Breakfast one morning had eggs, waffles, sliced bread and cereal. Drink machine for water or juice not working. Regular coffee not working. No napkins.

Our stay was amazing just like the stuff. The driver from the Austin airport was about 30mins and there was some food places that were walking distance. Parking was easy and hotel clean. Totally recommend for a family or friend vacation.

Staff is always kind and helpful, breakfast is plentiful and right on time. Only beef is with the bath/shower combo in basic rooms. Low pressure, and the curtain isn't sufficient in keeping it IN the tub. The accessible roll -in showers and normal showers though? The best.
