There were no dog waste containers or trash cans on the property to throw dog waste away! We had to go into the pool area and use the trash cans in there to throw away our dogs waste!

Checking in was easy the staff were friendly. The room was clean, my Kids for part was that outdoor pool. The only thing was the elevator was not working, in order to use the elevator you had to go all around to use the second elevator. Overall, our stay was great. Saving for any future stays.

Beds were comfy, small fridge, staff was great. We had a room with 2 queen beds and my husband said he was itchy from bites. I was on the other bed with my child and we were both fine.

Have stayed here twice now for basketball tournaments and both stays where great.

Location was great My daughter wanted to swim but the pool had ducks swimming in it. Tv control was out of batteries so we couldn’t watch tv.

The room was clean and super spacious (we got the king size bed room). Blackout curtain 100% worked, work up at 9am and the room was completely dark. Walkable to Porto, pirates and medieval dinner. Super close to great eats or even cheap eats.

The room was very clean and updated! The staff were super sweet and helpful. The area was very nice, I will be choosing this hotel for future trips.

The hotel is located on a busy street so you can kind of hear the traffic and it can be difficult to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. It is located just a minute or two from Knott’s Berry Farm and across the street from Porto’s, Medieval Times, Pirate dinner, adventure, down the street from The Source and only a few minutes from other shopping centers. The location is very convenient!

Location and value were great. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast and the staff were excellent. We booked a room with 2 adults and 3 children. We booked two doubles and a pullout couch and the room was spaced great! However, there was no bedding in the room for the pullout couch. It’s annoying to arrive late with tired littles and needing to trudge back out to ensure bedding is being delivered.

We were looking forward to getting in the pool but the pool was under construction.

The pool was very clean and refreshing after a hot day out. The building looks very unassuming from the outside but don't let that fool you- the lobby and rooms were kept very clean and nice, and the courtyard area was small but pretty. The pool had some traffic from other guests so they were short on fresh towels but they were quick to bring us more upon request. Would definitely stay here again. It's walking distance from a lot of fun activities and only 30 mins away from a day at the beach ⛱️

Overall, this stay was disappointing with the usual quality or professionalism typically associated with Marriott. I would appreciate an explanation for these issues and would like to discuss appropriate compensation for the experience.

Breakfast was not a buffet like we expected. It said breakfast was included but during hotels.com reservation process, it asks if we want to include breakfast for a fee. We did just in case but when I filter for breakfast included, this comes up as one, but it's not free and it's like a restaurant where you order it, and they have a line item for tips on the receipt. Did't expect to have to pay extra for food and tips when it states in hotels that breakfast was included. The staff was great though and the location was only 10 minutes walking distance to Knott's Berry Farms.

This hotel is older and that is for sure noticeable. It gives more like an apartment complex more than a hotel. Pool area was dirty. Their was only one front desk associate which made if difficult. walls are super thin and you can hear everything. so if you are a light sleeper please be aware. on a good side the beds are very comfortable and its close to many things. I wouldn't stay again just for preference reasons. I think you can get better stay for your buck.

The hotel ia clean and modern. The pool area ia nice. We did the breakfast option included with our room and it was fantastic. It is literally right across the street from Medieval times and the pirate adventure.

I love the suites, very roomy and had lots of fun in the pool.

Carpet was stained. A drawer was missing in the room under the TV. Receptionist was very casual about these problems. Poor value for money paid.

A flashing light is right above the head kept me up at night.

Unfortunately, I spent most of my time under the weather during this trip while my daughter worked. The staff was amazing and addressed our concerns quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this hotel for families because of this space and the set up of the rooms. Our concern was with the cleanliness of the room, but this is a common problem. We are seeing across California as we travel. The good news is when it was brought to the Hotel‘s attention. It was addressed right away. they also indicated they would be reviewing who cleaned the room and ensuring retraining for the areas that were missed. Otherwise Marriott is always our favorite because they have well appointments in bedding, mattresses, and space overall. Having a microwave and refrigerator in the room we’re also a key factor for us in staying at this location along with the convenience to the training facility and work locations we were visiting.

We had an amazing stay here! We were in town for Medieval Times and it was genuinely less than a 5 minute walk. The kind man who checked me in was so helpful, and the room was beautiful and large.

We love staying here when we visit Knotts. It’s a short walk to the park and they let me park my car on the property before my check in time. The rooms are always clean. The only complaint I have is online it showed the bistro was open until 10:30pm but when we arrive at 9:30 we were told it was already closed.

Our only issues were wet carpet from (I believe) the A/C leaking (they gave us a new room), and the tv in the living room in our new room was not connected to the cable service or any streaming at all. The staff was very kind, and the floor was very quiet. The only things were the loud refrigerator which i had to unplug so my girlfriend could sleep since shes a light sleeper. There were also some rose petals left on the couch from a previous guest which tells me the room wasnt cleaned thoroughly enough. Other than that, the hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

Could not access YouTube on TV because of network errors. Noise outside at 11:30pm could be heard in room. No continental breakfast available.

Property easily located near everything you need. Room was cozy and with all essentials. The lobby arechas a lot of seating spaces, T.Vs and a restaurant. Pool area was nice. Staff was friendly. Best thing yet, they were across from Portos restaurant if you are a fan.

Check in was easy. The room was alright. It was right across from midevil times and pirates. If you wanted to eat ihop,outback rock and roll dinner, just down aways. Knotts half a block away. Only problem i had was i was called in to work so i had to cut my stay by a day .

The only issue I had while staying here were the side doors noise. My room was right next to one of the side doors and because it wasn’t slow closing, it was slamming all night into the morning which made it hard to sleep.

The room was clean. The staff were all happy and very professional every single one of them that I came in contact were happy to help the only thing that I don’t like is that the room don’t have a microwave and I feel that the one microwave they have isn’t warming up the food quite well.

Reserved a room with a full kitchen but room came with only a mini fridge and microwave. Had to constantly request towels. During 4 night stay, there was only 1 room refresh. The breakfast advertised had either been ended early or was not available when we attempted to grab food. The pool was unavailable due to a broken filter. The room was spacious, and would have easily accommodated queen beds instead of fulls. The sofa and chairs were hard, lacking comfort but the beds and pillows were were perfect for a good night's sleep. There was plenty of parking and at $12/night, it was one of the most economical hotel parling fees. A Starbucks was across the parking lot and Porto's was across the street.

We had an excellent stay at the Courtyard Marriott Anaheim Buena Park! From the moment we arrived, our check in process was very efficient and we got room access earlier- which was super helpful for our early arrival into the city. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The tv had a great streaming option to connect to apps like Netflix! The facility was very peaceful, quiet and relaxing and we were not bothered by any noise or distractions. The refreshment station in the lobby was great! The pool was a great amenity for the hot days. The hotel was super accommodating and held out luggages for us after we checked out, and even helped us to get a later check out time. The lobby is its own star! It is a comfortable and cozy place to relax and watch tv. The hotel is right across the street from the amazing Porto's bakery, which we walked to every morning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Courtyard Marriott Buena Park and recommend for a relaxing getaway, and Disney trip!

I have stayed at many Marriott hotels. This is the first one that I would say needs a major upgrade. It smelled and looked very dingy and old. The carpets and hallways looked very dark. Things seemed outdated. The location is excellent it just needs more tlc

House keeping did not provide service on the second day of our stay. There were bags of trash sitting on the outside of one of the side entrance of the hotel. Other than that, clean room and convenient for nearby entertainment and restaurants.

The lady at the front desk who checked us in was very paitent and kind. She made sure we were familiar with where to park and it was very convenient to have such short walking distance from the van to our room

The property is terrible, it is not recommended. People fighting dogs in the middle of the property fighting, it is really not a good place to spend the night.

I will definitely stay here again. Across the street from Starbucks & Porto's. Near Knott's Berry Farm, the Buena Park Mall, and lots of restaurants. Safe with lots of lights outside despite being so close to sketchy areas.

We have stayed here many times over the last 25 years and it always lives up to our expectations. This stay was equally as good, staff pleasant and helpful and the property well maintained and clean. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.

We liked the room and the staff was very friendly. We got there a half hr after their checkin time and were asked to wait. I overheard the woman at the front desk on the phone saying it says their room is out of order. Apperently theyd done some work to it and it hadnt been cleaned yet. We were told it wouldnt be long but from the time we got there until we were able to check in was 40min. We'd planed to just quickly drop off our things and go somewhere so this was a big inconvinience.

I feel the rooms can be in better condition. The fire detector was taped up to keep it from falling. The phone didn’t work. But the staff is very friendly.

We were headed to the Medieval Times dinner and chose this hotel because it was across the street, a big plus that Porto’s is also across the street. A little older. We had to switch rooms because the bathroom light was not working and maintenance person already left for the day. Friendly housekeeper and front desk receotionist were helpful.

Perfect base for doing the Buena Park activities such as Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval Times and the Pirate's Dinner Adventure. A 15-minute drive to Downtown Disney and Angels Stadium and Honda Center.

My stay at Buena Park Marriott courtyard hotel was decent. I really appreciate it being dog friendly. My only complaint was the refrigerator noise, the little refrigerator buzzed all night so I had to unplug it and just use ice to keep my items. Cool. Other than that great location, good stay

It would be great if they offered a continental breakfast. Nothing fancy, just some cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice, etc.

Place is amazing, pretty close to restaurants, shopping area and very convenient. If you love Korean food and other Asian dishes this is one stop by area. Stayed here for Disneyland theme park visit. Portos bakery is across the street. We will be back again for sure.

The front desk lady is extremely slow and customer service needs improvement. There was no toilet paper upon check in. And I overheard another guest having the same issue while waiting in a short line. Front desk lady took 10 plus minute to check another guest. While I was lucky enough to get assistance from a nice gentleman who finished our check in, in matter of minutes. Quick and easy.

The room smells like wet rug and the phone is out of service on our entire days of stay so we have to walk to the front desk each time we need service like soap, towel, request to clean the room etc. It's very inconvenient.

Customer service could have been better with just a simply “Hi” or a “Hello” when we are standing in front of them. The shower pressure was disappointing and showers took longer than normal with our large family.

My stay was great for my purpose. The only thing I wish were different is the building structure. I like a more traditional hotel setting. From the outside, it appears to be an apartment building for our homeless neighbor.

We only stayed for one night and most of the time we were out at Knott’s Berry Farm so we didn’t really get to utilize the property but our quick stay was very comfortable and nice! This hotel is so close to the park and other places that I would definitely stay here again in the future if I’m staying longer! The staff was very nice and we used the luggage storage as well. Room was clean and our room was very comfortable for 5 people since we did the two bed and sofa bed suite. You do have to pay for parking.

The room was big enough for my little family. The only thing I would change is adding a ventilation fan in the bathroom.

The noise disruptions for guests out late and slamming doors were frequent and late in the night. It is not clear whether the pool within the courtyard has a cut off time. Certainly there were enough that I know at least some other guests on that side of the hotel would have had same disturbing experience.

We always stay here when we visit Buena Park. This hotel is the whole package always clean, great staff, shopping near by.

The lobby area is very inviting. Check in was easy (as usual at Courtyards). Only one minor “hiccup” the room we had assigned to us, was occupied.

Other than that, it's a very plain hotel. The walls are paper thin, and the building is a bit older. It was plenty clean and comfortable, but it's a lower end place. Good enough though.

Check-in time was supposed to be 3 pm. I requested an early check in and never got a response. We showed up at 3:30 (past check-in time) and I was told there were no suites available because “people in suites like to have a late check-out’. I’m not sure why that should affect my check-in time. I was then told that at this location, check in was between 3-4 (that’s not what it said in the website when I booked). They called house keeping to see if any rooms were ready and got us checked into a room by 3:52. I found a little lock on the bedroom floor which made me think the cleaning had to be rushed to get us into a room. I’m normally not one to complain, but this was a very frustrating experience.

Instead of sympathy, empathy or even trying to make it right we were brushed off with having to deal with it. So if you want to stay in your hotel… DO NOT BOOK HERE. I you love cats, the smell of sewer and lack of empathy this place is for you!!! Housekeeping staff was friendly but manager needs to check the rooms. Dirty towel and no conditioner in the shower (just an empty bottle). To top it off if you need sleep.. DO NOT STAY HERE. doors slamming and people yelling all hours of the night with no one to secure the halls or contain rude situations with neighbors. Only plus is walking distance to medieval times!!!

Enjoyed my stay

The property needs a major upgrade in their rooms. While they provided plugs for usb outlets, the new Apple extension cords aren’t compatible. When we tried plugging it into the outlet, it didn’t fit or was not compatible. The pillows are soooo flat. Even when 3 pillows were used, it flattened out uncomfortably. Home keeping was effy and they only cleaned our room once. Not even taking out our garbage. The positive thing was the convenience of its location.

The room wasn't serviced one of the days. The beds were too stiff for us and feather pillows were not comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Parking spots are small and we got a dent from someone banging into our door in the parking spot.

NO fan in the bathroom with a family of 4 was brutal. No lock on bathroom door too. Curtain rod was broken off the curtain and left propped against the slider, which doesn't even open on the ground floor, make that make sense. Won't be back.
