    The first room they gave me there was a Band-Aid on the bed, and it looked like someone had laid on the pillow with the bed made up. They gave us another room, which was better. But the toilet was running. I had to adjust the float. And I couldn’t adjust the thermostat. I have to call maintenance to come and unlock it so that I could make the room comfortable. When I went to get my receipt, the lady at the desk couldn’t pull it up. So I went to have breakfast when I came back to get the receipt. There was no one at the front desk for over five minutes. So I left. Got the receipt in the email and they charge me $15 for parking which I wasn’t aware of in advance.

    Staff were nice. The hotel room was very outdated with dirty marks everywhere. There were no towels in the hotel room available. When requesting for clean towels we got a stack of them but some were dirty with makeup marks. The curtains had black/brown stains (blood?/ poop?) that were unclear. There were blue take on the floor and some blue small ones on the light switches. Coach was not very clean with marks on them. When coming in the room, there was a weird smell.

    Some of the reviews seemed not great but we had a decent suite and I liked the old charm of the building. We wanted to go to the pool and spa but it was packed and they were playing music loud so we decided just to go back to our room and rest. I loved that it was so close to everything. Portos. Knotts. Great spot and a great price.

    We booked this hotel with me my wife and 4 year old son , room was pretty dusty and the AC was locked so we could not change the temp to cool the room, it was very stuffy. Staff was not very accommodating or nice we ended up leaving about an hour after seeing the room , we didn't use any of there amenities but still got charged 50.00 . I don't recommend this horrible hotel .avoid at all cost .

    The thermostat in room could not be adjusted, we have to open the door time to time to get fresh air. The smoke detector in bedroom fell off on the floor when we checked in. The hotel looks run down, fitness gym is gutted, there is a abandoned breakfast room. When we got home we got charged $35/day for " guess ammenities" fee? what the hexk is that? Hotel need improved on everything.

    Check in time was at 4pm. We didnt get our room until 7pm. When you pull up to the place, the trash cans were full and overflowing. Walking to the room there was trash outside the other rooms. The room was a good size but was dirty. Floors were sticky. Didn't trust to use the fridge or microwave. Midnight.. people were banging on the door. Slept with one eye open!! That was fun...Lots of traffic noise too. Good location for restaurants and a bakery. And walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm.. To bad your not given an option to walk away without losing ur money. Would i book again...NO

    Also, the property is extremely old paint chipping. The blinds on some of the hotel doors were broken. The elevators have so many spiderwebs on them. It looks like nothing‘s ever been cleaned for several years. I could not even get a washcloth after requested it 2x the microwave smell so old.     Was given a room that appeared and smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned for a week. There were dirty towles all over the bathroom floor, the bed was unmade, and the smell was terribly moldy/musty. Had to go back to front desk (long walk) to change rooms. Second room was farther away than the first, and 2 floors higher. That room had 2 electrical outlets non-functional (had to brew coffee in the bathroom, as kitchen outlet was not working.

    They were not able to accommodate my father-in-law with a handicap room. We requested a medical chair for restroom and shower purposes, it never came. Despite our requests. We even spoke to the Manager, but that didn’t change anything.

    We were disappointed, while the place looked nice in the photos on line the building itself is old and dirty, the lobby looks nice but once you go out the back doors to go to your room it is downhill from there. Despite the external conditions of the hotel I never expected the room to have such unpleasant, musty smell, the light fixtures don’t provide enough light, only one lamp turn on and the shade of the other lamp is coming apart at the seams. It looks nothing like it is advertised on line. I could go on and about how bad this was.

    The hotel is good value for the money, but after I checked out, they sent me a strange bill—charges for parking and for "additional services," though it didn't specify exactly what those services were. The thing is, I don't drive at all, and I made it clear when checking in that I didn't have a car. I was hardly at the hotel; I only came back to sleep and didn't order anything extra.

    I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I was honestly disappointed with this stay. We booked a suite in advance and arrived to a room that was not properly cleaned or maintained. There were roaches in the room, hair and dirt left in the bathtub, torn bed skirting, and restroom curtains that were falling apart. I hope management takes cleanliness and maintenance more seriously moving forward.

    This hotel is next to a venue that hosts parties and our room was sharing the side of the venue. We did have very loud music until cutoff at midnight. We also requested one additional towel because our room came with 3 not four, and that took about 1.5 hour to get service.

    The building looks nothing like the pictures being advertised! When I first arrived, after checking in I asked about the breakfast that says is included online but nothing! Straight bs! Then when I get to my room I was given a room that wasn’t even cleaned ! Then I was excited and hoping to go swimming and only the hot tube was working , while the pool was green !

    The pool was nice, but the hot tub jets didn’t seem to work well. The building is old. It shows its age as do the rooms. It was surprisingly quiet, which was great. Beds were comfortable. But overall as an older building it was a great place to stay and the staff was really wonderful. At the price point it really is a five star, if you’re looking for value and low cost.

    Terrible, it was dirty found a maggot on the sofa bed. Manager was sweet about getting me another room. The floor was dirty and the shower for wheelchair guess, not the best all the water went everywhere. So it was more work for us.owner needs to invest more in repairs.

    We stayed on the 3rd floor, and there had been a flood on the 4th floor. Our room had a large bubble in the ceiling, which was concerning and made it feel unsafe. The condition of the room overall was poor—the floor was noticeably slanted, and the dresser drawers wouldn’t stay closed and kept sliding open. One major issue was the door. The cover/seal was broken, and you could actually see inside the room from outside, which is a serious privacy concern. We were also charged a $35 per day “guest amenities” fee plus parking, but there were no real amenities available. The pool was not working, there was no hot tub, no gym, and no breakfast area. It’s frustrating to pay extra for services that simply don’t exist.

    The pool was full of algae. It wasn’t clean at all. Didn’t even go into the hot tub. Our room was nice, but we had broken shutters on the front door. The bathroom toilet didn’t flush just about every time we used it. Had to walk to the front desk the first two times because the phone didn’t work. Then the toilet didn’t flush again in the morning. We stayed one night and had to call down every few hours for someone to come and fix the toilet. No complementary breakfast and yet we paid almost $150 for one night. Such a rip off. They didn’t even offer a discount for the fact that our toilet didn’t work, nor did the phone.

    The building and set up itself is cute if it were maintained properly. The roaches, the uncomfortable bed, the linoleum on the floor coming up, the hotel itself was just not kept up very well at all. Cigarette butts all over the ground in the courtyard area and a green pool. I also was not told that I would t have the free breakfast until i went back down to the desk to ask. Thats largely why I booked with this hotel and I was disappointed to see that I had to go out and buy breakfast.

    The hotel looks nice overall but our room floor were dirty. When I went to check-in at like 6pm, there was no one at the front desk and we waited probably 5 minutes before staff showed up which was annoying after a long day. I booked this hotel for the pool/hotel for the kids but pool was closed and green. Hot tub worked only our first night but broke down by the second night and also appeared not clean. The kids were super upset understandably. Probably won’t stay here again especially for the price paid and nothing worked and no continental breakfast either as mentioned.

    When it came to the our room which was 222, the bathroom door didn’t shut all the way and wouldn’t latch to lock. The tv just had basic cable. The ac worked just fine but for some reason we tried using the heat and it seemed like it either took a while to actually heat the room up or not work at all. One of the elevators did not work and also the was only one Ice machine and that was located at the front of the property on the second floor. I did like at night there was a cop carefully driving around the property. Also the walls are kinda thin and I was able to hear my neighbors havin fun. Anyways it was an okay stay for one night.

    This place looked like it was waiting to be closed. We opted out of room service for the first two nights then requested it the third night which we didn’t get again requested it on the fourth night which we didn’t get then asked for a late checkout and they wanted to charge me $30 extra to stay an extra two hours. It feels like people live there. The people above me ran around all night long. You could hear everything they were doing. It was not pleasant at all. The only reason I didn’t give the staff. The worst rating was the dayshift lady was amazing. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name.

    Walked past the pool everyday. It looked clean and debris free. Main lobby was spacious and clean. We stayed in room 416. The room was clean. Beds were fresh. The only issues I had with the room was the fridge door wouldn’t 100% close and the faucet in the sink was too low and close to the back of the bowl. This is our second time staying here. Will definitely stay here again. We don’t pick hotels to hangout at. We’re just looking for a place to rest our heads and legs and get back to the activities the next day and this place did that and didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

    Absolutely horrible. My son (10yr old) got bit all over his stomach and back by what the dr said was bed bugs or fleas. He was on the sofa relaxing little did we know it was infested. I should have known by the way their was dog hair all over the couch. But like I said Dr said it was bed bugs. I should definitely get a full refund i have proof of the urgent care visit.

    Upon arrival, the room felt run down and poorly maintained. The thermostat read 76 degrees and would not initially turn on. I was also surprised to learn that no bar soap was available—only shower gel—which felt below basic hospitality expectations. There was engraved graffiti carved into the nightstand, further reflecting a lack of upkeep. The most serious and unacceptable issue occurred later that evening. After returning to the hotel around 11:00 PM and preparing for bed, I pulled back the sheets on the bed farthest from the door and immediately observed multiple yellow stains across the bedding. When I adjusted the pillows, I discovered a red blood stain that had seeped onto the pillowcase. This was extremely disturbing, unsanitary, and entirely unacceptable. Clean, sanitary bedding is a fundamental and non-negotiable expectation for any hotel guest. Additionally, I observed overflowing trash in common areas, which contributed to concerns regarding overall cleanliness and property maintenance

    The front desk staff was incredibly sweet, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Booked a King room so there was a separate living room and kitchen area in addition to the bedroom. The King room was on the back side of the hotel, so we didn't hear any street or traffic noises. Everything was clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the tropical vibes of this hotel. Lots of palm trees and lush plants in the courtyard area where the pool and hot tub reside. The only issues we ran into is that: (1) only one of the 3-4 elevators were working. we were on the 3rd floor and had to lug everything up and down the stairs. (2) we booked this hotel over others because of the hot tub. It was nice and warm, but the jets did not work. It was a minor disappointment. With that, we would love to stay here again. The King room was very spacious and lovely.

    Room wasnt too clean. My kids found cigars and a cigar case in between couch cushions. As well as cheetos under the beds and cobwebs inside the lamp shades as if the room hadnt been dusted or touched in a while. Bathtub had a leaking faucet. Around 10pm banging,and hammering began in the room next door for a consistent 2 hours and No phone in the room to call the front desk. Did get a few good hours of sleep after it ended and checked out early. Staff was kind, lobby was clean, parking is free and its really close to knotts.

    This property is beautiful & charming, and the rooms are fantastic. It feels like a little oasis in the heart of Buena Park. I was embarrassed by the unusual amount of trash in the stairwells and walkways however - TERRIBLE first impression! It literally made the property feel trashy. The thermostat in the room had no power and we couldn’t have air conditioning. When I called the front desk multiple times, no one answered. I want to love this property, as it would only take a little bit of effort on the part of management to make it a great experience.

    Unfortunately did not have a good experience here. First when I went to check in they could not find my reservation and would not check me in until I called Expedia and had them call them with my reservation. Then once finally getting the room it was dirty. Old crumbs on the floor. All the dresser drawers would not close and just kept sliding open and the sofa bed had no sheets, blankets or pillows available. Won’t be coming back here again.

    Check in was smooth, everything else wasn’t. There was no TV in the living room, there was no access to control the temperature in the room, when I tried to called the front desk there was no line. Don’t get me wrong there was a phone, but it didn’t work so I had to resort to calling from my cell phone. No one ever answered! When I went to the front, no one was able to help me. I’m a little shocked that this was a Marriott. I do not recommend anyone staying here.

    Our hotel reservation was canceled & our trip was ruined I won’t be getting a hotel with them ever again & mybe even with Expedia because that was very unprofessional & had me & my father without a room for the whole night. I want my money back from the hotel reservation Buena Park hotel says it was Expedia that canceled without notifying us but I’m not exactly sure who to believe. Either way it was the worst experience ever had me & my fam stranded when this could have been avoided with being notified.

    Room was nice and clean conditions of the hotel was very good for the price... it just needs sprucing up a bit...it is a very charming place to stay... t he beds were EXCELLENT towels were very clean and thick...its just an older hotel and there trying to restore the hotel to its grandeur. The courtyard is Magnificent...pool looked very clean...they need more staff... they were doing the best they can...3rd party bookings outside of hotel are not adequate...they turned away people ...we were lucky we had booked 2 or 3 days ahead of time or theybwould not honor Expedia or any other companies making reservations...just call the hotel itself...dont be hung up it was Valentine's weekend with Presidents day as well...all hotels were booked... we would go back again..just dont expect alot of frills.

    Room and hotel facilities dirty. Only one staff member working reception so took about an hour to check in. Has to be moved to a different room after check in due to malfunctioning A/C unit. Once moved, no remote or cable for television. Television in living room area was not available. False advertisement of complimentary breakfast. Would definitely not recommend this place to stay.

    Worst hotel ever, our bed was disgusting with bugs, hair, and the mattress hung off the box spring as they are not the sane size. They gave our prepaid king size to someone else, the floors were disgusting with hair, and God knows what else. The AC doesnt work the room is low light to prevent you from seeing just how disgusting the room actually is. We asked for room service and ithey never came DO NOT STAY HERE@!!

    Book a courtyard view but all the view we got was another building and the parking lot. Suite was a good size, but no TV in the sitting room with the couch. The hair dryer didn't work in the bathroom, but good water temp in the shower. Lights were flickering in the kitchenette area. But we only stayed ine night. The staff we encountered briefly were okay. Overall the quick stay was okay.

    When we arrived no one at the front desk a while my daughter had to go to the restroom and they didn’t have one open!! So she ended up having an accident!! Then we finally got in the room and the pull out bed had no sheets!! I had to go back down and get some and he said they had no pillows or the thick blanket so he gave me sheets. The bed are really thin for laying $400 for the weekend this place has very bad service and horrible beds!

    They double booked our room and told us there was nothing they could do, they would not accommodate us. The front desk person was extremely rude would not help us at all and ended up calling the police on us and told them that my husband was being hostile when he wasn’t. He was just trying to get an explanation. The couple checking in next to us had the same issue. They were told there were no rooms available even though they had also made a reservation in advance. Instead of trying to accommodate us and the other family the front desk person was just trying to get rid of us and that’s why he called the police. Horrible customer service. I will never book with them again!

    The room wasnt that clean. The bedding was thankfully. The gym equipment was new, but the room was not. Hotels.com advertised buffet breakfast wouldnt even qualify as continental.     Room was old, but spacious and well organized. We liked the suite with bedroom. It was once a prime property. Hopefully the new affiliation with Springhill Suites will restore its prime status. It’s an impressive courtyard, pool and lobby with glass elevators. It needs a little TLC and advertising and families will love it.

    Wow, I was not expecting this hotel to be so outdated and under maintained. Our room's refrigerator was leaking due to having ice built up in there and it was defrosting. The bathroom tub was dirty, the walls in the restroom has holes that were never patched up and some walls in the room had bad paint jobs. We didn't swim during our stay but the hot tub looked green like a moss pond and I am afraid it would get people sick who went in there. The gym was also flooded and there was water on the floors. I know it's not the hotel's fault, but while we were there, we heard screaming and cursing from the higher floors like people were arguing with each other, kind of scary since we had kids with us. The location is good since we were able to walk to Knott's Berry Farm and the Medieval times show/dinner, and Portos is also very walkable as well. But besides that, I would not recommend staying here. Everything felt old, outdated and dirty.

    Half of the outlets in the room didn’t work, there was a lamp that didn’t work, the thermostat didn’t work and the TV had a line through the screen. The breakfast was poor also. Not many options and the restaurant was in rough shape. This hotel needs a major remodel and I expect more from a hotel owned by Marriot.

    There was no breakfast available! We have 2 kids, it was my husband's birthday. they advertise breakfast. they apparently had a power outage and a staff member quit. givenhow they treated the replacement staffvfrom another hotel, its clear why the first member quit. thevfront desk staff did nothing to make it better citing the manager is the only one who can make decisions and he was out until the following day.     the mini fridge was frozen over with a huge blocks of ice and was melting all over our food. No staff could be found at all the next morning, no front desk person after 30 min of looking saw a cleaner i called out to her she only asked my room number & disappeared .the auto lights in the room were not working properly .     I would rate this hotel 2.5 out of 5. The room is ran down. The sheets on the bed had stains. The room we stayed at was bug infested. We only had one tv which was in the bedroom area and my daughter stayed at the other room with no tv. No sheets or pillows for the pull out sofa bed. I packed some for her. So it didn’t really bother me. Hey at least her sheets were clean.We were on the first floor and the floor was uneven.I tripped a few times. The staff was ok but needs to be more welcoming. We had to ask for towels several times. But housekeeping was great at first making sure the room was clean. We stayed 8 days at this hotel. Half our stay housekeeping didn’t bother cleaning our room. I had to buy a sweeper just to clean the room. Throw the trash outside where there are trash bins. The microwave was a very old model. We used it often so I had to maintain it clean. Our first day we saw about 5 spiders in less than 2 hours. After the 4th day the roaches started to come out. The room had spiderwebs and mold. You had to crack the door open to get fresh air inside. We ended up buying fans.And yes I brought raid. I did read the reviews before our stay. The only thing I love the most about this hotel was the location. It was very close to everything such as Knotts, restaurants and shopping. The hotel has potential if it is maintained. It’s a beautiful property underneath all the neglect. The rooms on the first floor most of them was used as a storage or getting tored down

    Room was clean a bit dated with the lighting but clean none the less. Tv didn’t have many options but i had my tablet. Elevators were broken. No real refreshments or snacks in the lobby to purchase. The hotel apparently does not have access to Expedia purchases so i waited for a manual input of my reservation and it was done incorrectly and i was charged 2 nights in error. GM fixed it on my last day there but i have been inconvenienced to wait for it to be released for a few days so that was very disappointing. Overall it’s a quick clean place for the basics to stay at. It was safe. I would stay again to save but never book through Expedia.

    When we checked the fridge, we found hair inside along with a half-eaten ice cream left behind by the previous guests. The baseboards were filthy, and it was obvious the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected before our arrival. To make matters worse, the walls and ceiling looked like they’d been poorly patched — possibly after a fire or some kind of damage — leaving the room looking neglected and unfinished. This room should never have been rented out in its current condition. It was genuinely unsettling and completely unacceptable.

    Upon entering, the living room TV was extremely outdated, the sofa bed squeaked loudly, and several electrical outlets didn’t work. There were no USB charging ports, so bring extra adapters. The blinds didn’t close properly, compromising privacy, and the bathroom door didn’t lock and was difficult to close — a real concern for families or groups sharing a room. Maintenance and cleanliness were worrying: the faucet fell off the sink when the water was turned on, one towel had a brown stain, paint was peeling, and there was visible mold in the grout. The bedroom curtains looked original to the 1960s and are not blackout curtains; the beds were lumpy and uneven, and the lamps were also very outdated. We also found leftover ice cream from a previous guest in the freezer. Our kids discovered and ate it in the middle of the night — which was frightening. If that food had been contaminated or tampered with, it could have caused serious harm. This felt avoidable and irresponsible. Noise was another issue — a bar directly across the street plays loud music late into the night. The pool was not heated and the hot tub was only barely warm. Their website states breakfast is included, but none was provided during our stay. Overall: this property might work for someone only seeking the cheapest possible room, but I would not recommend

    Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the best. We had arrived a little over midnight and the check in process was pretty okay but once we got our first room we noticed the electricity wasn’t working throughout the bedroom. Once we noticed that we went downstairs and we got another room. Our next room had a horrible humidity and trash smell but we disregarded because it was already past 2 am. I got in the shower and my mom starts moving her pillows and notices dirty diapers at the corner of the headboard. I really just wanted to sleep and became frustrated because now we needed a new room AGAIN. You would think third times a charm… no again. Anyways our 4th room was better than the rest.even though the cleanliness of our rooms weren’t up kept the staff was very reasonable and apologetic. Before you book just make sure you read through the reviews of any stay.

    Hotel is going through a transition phase, so be prepared for some potential delays when you arrhve, and a few outdated or potentially non-functioning things. That said, though, we had a lovely stay and experience....staff were very helpful and worked very hard to address any issues, the manager Grace thanked us personally for our visir and clearly cares about the future of the hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Pool and hot tub looked very clean but we didn't have a chance to use ithem. The property grounds and building are a bit older, but they are beautiful and have a lot of charm. I think once the transition period is over this hotel will be really amazing, and we'd definirely stay again. Can't beat the location if you want to visit Knott's and other Buena park activities.

    Asked for a top floor they gave me a bottom floor and the lock dead bold didnt work or the latch . I always bring a door jam so it was ok. Water pressure was horrible. Toilet didnt flush. Hot water took a few minutes to get warm. Only 2 lamps worked. Went to the jacuzzi and it wasnt even warm. It was cold and the other people staying there just sitting with their legs in the water were talking about it took them 2 hours to check in. They said several people were stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes. In the ad it said serving breakfast and of course they did not. The good abiut the place is Portos is close and other good resturants. Knotts was the big reason why we stayed and you could walk there from the hotel. I wouldnt stay there until the Mariott finished refurbishing the place.

    The fitness facility was brand new and very nice. The do need to fix the water machine and provide wipe down cloths and towels. But again, it's probably all work in progress. There was a lot of commotion and noise around the hotel and there were cops in front of the hotel each night we stayed there. It was super convenient in location. We walked to Knotts from the hotel. Also Porto's for coffee in the morning was walking distance. I'm sure when they fix it up it will be much better.

    Kyle was at the front desk when I arrived. He was very helpful. I had an issue with an injured knee. I couldn’t get in and out of the tub for a shower so he changed my room to one with a walk-in shower. He was very friendly and very helpful. The room wasn’t quite ready Cosmetically but it had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and all. The second night I was there was very warm in my room. My air conditioner said off I called the front desk. The man that was at the front desk was not very helpful. I asked him to come up and check this air conditioner from thermostat. I couldn’t get it to go on. He told me he’d be there. He didn’t show up. I waited until 1144. I called him again and then finally at 12:30. I closed everything up and went to sleep he never showed up to help me with my air conditioner and it was very warm and I was very uncomfortable.

    I wouldn't recommend this place, solely based on the staff, we stayed at this hotel because it was walking distance to Knott's scary farm, I checked into our room and I noticed there were no sheets or blankets for the pull out bed, I called front desk to ask if I can get some sent to my room, an hr passes by and I still hadn't received them, we couldn't wait any longer so I asked the front desk if I would be able to receive them at 140am in the morning and the front office said that would be fine. We get to the front office to ask about the sheets at 130am and the man working the front office, I believe his name was Rick or something similar, he went to the back office and handed me a nasty looking thin blanket, I asked him if I can please have some sheets and he said, No, I asked why? he said because they are closed, I informed him that another worker told me I could recieve them at this time, he was extremely rude to me and my daughter. We never received any sheets so I had to give her and her friend my blankets from my bed. Do not go to this hotel, they do not care about their guests and also in the bathroom, under the sink, it was blackwater stains or mold.

    I liked the location of this property to the local area where there are attractions such as Knotts Berry Farm or the Medieval Times dinner and show.     Worst hotel stay. Starting from roaches in the bathroom. The tub leaked all night and day. It would not drain. The room smelled old and it was outdated. The pool was dirty. We arrived on a Thursday night and left Saturday morning we saw only another couple besides us the entire time. They smelled like pot. We stayed in room 221 right infront of the elevator and we can here every noise from outside of our room. The walls were so thin that we can hear the room upstairs and it would tremble in our room. We would walk the halls and rooms were boarded up and nobody insight. We could here the maids screeming to one another but couldnt see them. The hotel looks like a hunted place. Really creepy. We stayed because we had paid for it and no refund. Never again. Dont even know how this place is still functioning. Very disappointed and it is walking distance to Knotts.

    We got there around 10pm. Was told they weren’t sure if they had a room cleaned for us yet. Then found a room for us but once we got into the room it had someone’s items in there. Went back to the desk and they found another room. We got into said room and started setting up the pull out couch and it was disgusting dirty and stuff all over it. Went to find the bedding to try and just put a sheet over it and there wasn’t any bedding or pillows for it. Went back to the desk and they gave me bedding but then was told that they ran out of pillows. So my kids on that couch had no pillows to sleep on because they ran out. The remote was dirty and sticky and the phone was broken. Will not ever stay there again.

    Only one elevator worked. Rooms need to be refurbished. Beds are old. Maids barely cleaned while we were there for a WEEK. They left one towel, one washcloth in a room with FOUR PEOPLE. Had to go ask the front desk for clean towels EVERY NIGHT FOR A WEEK.

    First, I looked at the facilities and it looked like it was pretty dated, as I entered the foyer. There were cobwebs all on the ceiling upon entering my room. It was clean, but very dated, a lot of things need to be tended to for instance windows need to be clean, phone in the room did not work, no ice bucket, no extra bedding for pullout, people got stuck on the elevator, pool was Out of service. Living room should have a television!!!

    Even though the spot of the hotel was perfect close to everything and walkable as well. The hotel itself did not help on making it perfect. When we got to our room the floors were very dirty and Trash behind the furniture. We went to complain to the front desk and she kindly gave us another room but when we entered the room it was dirty as well. Housekeeping needs to step it up. Also, asked multiple times for extra towels since they only gave us two towels when clearly the reservation was for a family of 5. Staffing kept saying to wait an hour and after three hours another hour and was added to a “list” in order for them to take the towels to your room. My husband went back at 11pm to ask for towels again and front desk stated that they had just given the last four to another person. Ridiculous how they don’t keep there word. Never staying here again.

    It was an awesome experience, especially because there is a lot of cool attractions in the neighboring areas plus also lots of awesome restaurants as well. If you stay here, I definitely recommend going to medieval times next-door, greatest dinner ever!

    room had a mildewy smell it was dusty. The toilet handle was dangling, 2 towels for a room that sleeps 5. no trash cans, lamp didn't work, no tv in the living space. no extra sheets, blankets or pillows for the pull out bed, the dresser was beat up and the remote was GROSS. LONG STORY short the last day there our key stopped working so we asked for a replacement. This time around its someone new at the front desk and he ask our room #. He explained that's weird that room shouldn't be in use they are remodeling it and we have you down in another room. I can continue but i am limited. It was not a good stay but we managed.

    There are electrical wires exposed in front of the elevators. We moved from one room to another and still that horrible smell and mold were in the new room. He then asked for our refund to stay at another hotel . We are going in three days into our vacation of not having their manager approve our refund. It’s so inconvenient to have our vacation funds tied up because of incompetence, unprofessionalism and self righteousness.

    She also offered a refund for the extra night we had booked, but that meant we had to check out immediately—and unfortunately, all nearby hotels were fully booked, leaving us with no real options. So we were stuck in an uncomfortable, unsanitary room. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they make serious improvements to cleanliness, pest control, and overall guest comfort.

    This property was very unmanaged, dirty and very unkept. Most of the room windows/doors were draped with paper as to be unseen/unused. The restaurant was basically boarded up. Two of the four elevators were not functional for what appears to be a while. The under mounted sink in the bathroom was detached. There were spider webs every where to include a spider in our bathtub when when we arrived. The floors in the room were not up kept as our we couldn't walk around without shoes as our feet would become black without them. This is just to name a few of the issues. Obviously we will never stay here again.

    The property is filthy from the parking lot to the rooms. If the app allowed me to submit photos, I would. Garbage was everywhere and never picked up. One of the towels had what appeared to be dried blood. We asked for extra clean towels, never got them. The toilet didn’t have enough pressure to flush. We reported it to the front desk and they did nothing so we had to pour water into it. 4 elevators and only 2 worked. The other 2 didn’t have a sign advising they were non operable. We found out from one of the cleaning ladies. Old furniture, the slats on the doors to our room were broken so anyone walking by could see in. Terrible experience.

    We requested towels and wash clothes and 24 hours later, had to make our way downstairs to request in person , no luck, because we still had to personally walk downstairs to laundry area to get clean towels. Best part was walking distance to Porto’s, other diners and knotts soak City. Outside of that, I don’t recommend staying there and management needs to do a better job of ensuring guests room are clean and adequate supplies are in place before they check in.

    My favorite place to break away mid-day from Knotts or Soak City to refresh, let my kids swim and cool down, and most of all it’s been very quiet and feels safe. We usually stay on weekdays to avoid weekend crowds. Staff is super friendly, parking is easy, the building is under renovation so if you can hang with that - this place is really a great option and I recommend this over staying at Knotts Hotel if you are traveling with littles.

    It was only 1 hand towel in the room for 1 adult and 3 kids. And when i ask for more towels they didn't have any more. The staff went to another room that was empty to come back and only find 1. She said she was going to go find more and bring it to my room but she didn't even come. I will definitely will not stay here any more. I never stayed at a hotel before that don't have extra towels. But you didn't have no problems taking my money.

    Hotel has an old off putting smell. Bring your own towels. Rooms are dirty and old, shower and bathroom was tiny and we had a suite for 6 people. Beds are small. The only advantages are how cheap it is and it's location.

    Booked for location. This hotel has so much potential yet is neglected. Basic cleanliness would make this place so much better. The room itself is huge, plenty of space for a family yet I wouldn't recommend do to the mold & dirt issues I kept discovering.     As typical, there are no towels. So definitely bring your own towels, wash clothes, hand towels, and pool towels if you insist on staying here. I don't know how exactly a hotel runs out of towels. Either they have not purchased enough or housekeeping doesn't wash them all before leaving for the night. Rooms are still dirty. Floors are gross. Spiders and webs everywhere. Final thought, Emmanuel has no business running a hotel and it shows.

    switches not working. We arrived at our room around 11:45pm from Knotts to find that our room keys were not working. When we went down to the office there was a line of guests experiencing the same thing as us with keys not working and told there was no more towels. This hotel looks like it was a nice place to stay at one point in time but the new management can care less about your stay or upkeep of hotel. I wish I would have read the reviews before staying here.

    I should have slept in my car, horrible experience leaking bath tub, toilet leaked from the bottom, roach infested! Room above made noise all night and it started again at 5am it sounded like they had kids running and jumping. I called the front desk but the noise didn't stop till they left around 9:30am. I slept 4 hours only with the noise. I will never stay there ever again!!

    The room we were assigned there was a missing part of the toliet so we couldn't use the toliet. With three kids having to go was not a fun experience. The guy came to fix it and then it started working but a little bit after it was leaking. Went to the front desk and told them the toliet is now leaking. They said they would send the manger up in 5 minutes but no one ever came. Woke up in the morning to the entire bathroom floor covered in water. My kids shouldn't have to be stepping in toliet water. Overall experience was terrible!

    Upon arrival, I was given a hard time because I didn’t have a physical credit card for the deposit. I only had a virtual card on my phone, which they refuse to accept. I had to call the third-party service and transfer the reservation to my daughter’s husband‘s name When I finally checked in to my first room, I was immediately hit with a strong musty order. Found spiderwebs in the corners as soon as I saw that I asked to be moved. The next room I was given there was a fresh smell to it, but was still not clean properly Floors were lifting in the bedroom area. When we were ready to go to bed, my son lifted the sofa cushions discovered, lots of mold. I was horrified specially because I suffer from bronchitis and respiratory issues. The front desk was unhelpful and only offered to move us again at that late hour. Next morning, I asked the front desk agent. All I wanted was the sofa to be replaced and my room to be cleaned and that I was going to be leaving for the day. I came back to the room, the room was exactly the same, except the trash had been taken out, and someone had attempted to clean the mold which was still visible. I wasn’t in California for leisure. I was there for a funeral, having just lost two family members. This was already difficult time, and the hotel experience made it worse. I would recommend to anyone!!!

    Checked in and checked right back out in less than 10 minutes. Got to the room we start cleaning soon as we flipped the sheets back it was a spider on the bed. We grabbed our bags left immediately & headed to the front desk requested a full refund!

    Years ago, when it was the Radisson, this hotel was our go-to for family trips to Knott's. It was clean, welcoming, and full of great memories. Fast forward to today. Radisson sold the hotel and it's now called "Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites." My wife and I stayed here for our 28th wedding anniversary and it was disappointing from the start. They tried charging us $35 to check in one hour early. When we finally got to our room, it smelled musky, we found a baby lizard inside the curtains, and later that night, cockroaches were crawling around--four of them. I even showed the front desk a video, and the manager said, "that's pretty common." We were moved to another room, but even that one had hair in the bathtub and felt neglected. Housekeeping clearly doesn't do a thorough job. This place is nothing like it used to be. I'm just glad my kids got to experience it when it was still the Radisson. Would not stay here again.
