Extremely noisy from all directions. People were walking outside right past our window, there were tons of cars making noise with alarms going off, hotel doors were constantly being slammed shut throughout the entire night, and the ice machine right next to our room was very noisy too. We are silver members and no breakfast was given as most Hiltons are supposed to.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff was able to accommodate us with no issue
- 5/5
The bar and lounge including the breakfast offerings were amazing! We will definitely be back and we’ll refer people when they visit the Bay Area. Thank you.

Hotel was great but Expedia screwed the reservation up.i was confirmed through you guys but reservation didn't show up on the hotels side.had to wait hour half to get corrected. Definitely made the evening a bummet

great location in Campbell. Walk to Pruneyard. Upbeat clean fun hotel.

The mattresses were hard, uncomfortable.

The property itself was nice How dirty the bathroom tub was, the previous people shaved in the bathtub and they’re shavings were still on the walls and the floor. And how they don’t change the pull out bed cushion and bedding each time the room is cleaned. The cushion and bedding had food and blood on it and food crumbs. My car also was toilet papered out side in there parking lot.

We stayed on a Saturday night. Walls are thin and our room faced the parking lot on the second floor. It was noisy at night till around 11pm. The room had a weird smell when we first got in. The room was a good size and had a mini fridge that was helpful.
- 2/5
If you book room through a 3rd party side, the front desk will find every opportunity to remind you that. Never experienced that in any big city Hilton or any Hyatt location or Marriott(anywhere). Seems like they are trained to make you feel miserable for not booking though Hilton website which is currently being sued for violating privacy laws, for sharing guest booking records with Meta.

location was convenient The room was directly overlooking a very loud party, and the noise continued late into the night, including cleanup afterward. I explained to staff that my 89-year-old grandmother has heart problems and needed rest, but nothing was done to help. Unfortunately, neither she nor my aunt were able to sleep comfortably.

The property, the location, and the room were all great. They don’t have breakfast included unless you pay extra, $25 and in my opinion, it was not worth it. You can order off the menu instead of the buffet and I think that would be much better. The hotel is attached to the Pruneyard shopping center, which includes a variety of shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and more. That was great because it rained the whole weekend. Park is free but a lot fills up.
- 1/5
Upside linens were nice bed was comfy, when we got in our room the bleach smell burned our nose it was wayyyy to strong! I’ve come to appreciate complimentary coffee in the lobby, this was not offered. I did also like the location walk out to the Pruneyard is nice but other hotels are way quieter maybe for business clientel. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 3/5
Room was nice, big, as was the bathroom. The AC didn't work until the next day when we figured out the reset button on plug. Staff could have been more helpful.

Parking is hard on weekends, as the mall gets busy. Spacious rooms. excellent location.

I was staying here during my book tour in San Jose. The room was the last down a long hall On the first floor facing the parking lot plus right on the interior sidewalk so people passing could look right inside. Worse— it was right in front of the broken ice machine so people were trying to get ice 24/7. Then water flooded out of the machine and soaked the rug so they put a giant body fan right outside my door. Their so called all day room service was closed until 5 pm. They said there were no other rooms until the last day AND they said I hadn’t booked the final night so charged me a premium PRICE. The chair in the room was all chipped and sunk to the floor when I sat in it!! They replaced it. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! I think they figured they’d just give the worst room to a woman traveling alone.

Great service! Hotel is very well located.

The staff was helpful and friendly . However I was on the ground floor overlooking the drop off zone and it was very loud until 4 am with people coming and going and standing right outside the window smoking .

Great location and wonderful property. The hotel is clean and very welcoming, there’s a lot to do in the area too
- 3/5
The room was OK. The staff was OK. My daughter and I was a bit disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working. I had deliberately booked this hotel so we can lounge in the hot tub, but that didn't happen.
- 5/5
Area felt safe
- 5/5
I didn’t have breakfast there, I don’t think they offer free breakfast.
- 4/5

- 1/5
Will not use Hotels.com again.
- 5/5
The room was very nice. I’ve stayed here several times before. Employees were courteous. I felt safe. However I was in the shower when the light in the bathroom went off. I am older and was nervous about getting out in the dark with a wet floor. I have never had that happen before.
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
The hot tub was great. We didn't participate in breakfast or dinner at the restaurant. I wish there was complimentary decaf coffee options and/or decaf soda options to purchase. Not everyone wants caffeine.
- 4/5
The rooms are clean and updated, staff friendly. Ask to stay on the top floor, I was on 2nd floor and someone sounded like they were doing sprints and jumping jacks above me at 12:45AM! Halls and outside were noisy too late into the night. The breakfast was good but I was told it would be free as an honors member but I was charged when I checked out. I didn’t have time to get in to asking for a refund on it.
- 2/5
Rooms were not clean despite two requests to have the rooms clean. No free breakfast included with bookings.

Big room, quiet and cozy, clean and great staff
- 5/5
Fast and accommodating check in. Room and hotel was very clean and attractively decorated
- 4/5
Room was amazing and spotless. I have stayed with you guys. The last four times I visited my family and I’ve always been very happy. This last time I was awoken very early in the morning and that has never happened to me and happened both days. I was there I unfortunately was in a room that was right by the pool area and I believe the maintenance staff. I know it was not their fault, but it was very loud in the morning when I was trying to sleep. This will not stop me from staying at your hotel again because it is very clean and safe and I enjoy staying there. I just was not very pleased being woken up so early two days in a row from the housekeeping.
- 5/5
Loved our rooms. Clean and spacious. Location is perfect and close to mearby restaurants. Staffs were friendly and approachable.
- 2/5
The staff was very friendly, but the rooms were terrible. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. There was only one chair to sit on otherwise you just have to sit on the bed. There’s no little loveseat or anything comfortable. There was a weird chair in the corner that seemed to be from the 60s, and not in a good way. It was broken. You couldn’t even sit on it. The mini fridge didn’t work either. This was the second room that we tried. The first one was very small and uncomfortable as well so we requested a different room. They were very accommodating, but the second room was even worse.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable but the side chair was broken and unusable.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and room was very clean.
- 1/5
Charged for water even though I am a Hilton Silver member. Told because I booked through a third party do not get benefits of membership.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 2/5
Class reunion held at property, most of us were staying there as well. Manager breached contract for event, I hold the hotel responsible and will no longer be a patron of Hilton hotels in the future.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and comfortable beds
- 3/5
The pool and hot tub were awesome, but the group that was drunk or stoned or both was extremely disturbing and had a cooler of glass beer bottles. They were so drunk they literally couldn’t stand up straight, kept falling over, at one point they were crawling, one tried using the cooler handle as a walker but kept collapsing. It must have taken them 30 minutes to exit the hot tub, open the gate, and walk to the lobby. The hotel staff kept walking by but no one said anything to them or offered assistance. Comical but unacceptable.
- 4/5
We have stayed here multiple times. The location suits us for family and restaurants. The rooms are big and the bathrooms have been a little updated but the whole place needs some modernising Staff are friendly, service of the room is slow.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, I booked 2 rooms with 1 king and 1 pullout couch that were adjoining. On the description it said adjoining allowed. I get there check in and went to the rooms and I had a 2 queen room and a room with just a king. I needed 4 beds and they had no rollaways so I had to get a 3rd room, though discounted I still paid for the 3rd room.
- 5/5
We were totally at home here. Enjoyed downtown Campbell nearby and easy parking.
- 4/5
Nice room with good facilities
- 4/5
Very nice place.
- 4/5
Clean room but the mattress is soft
- 4/5
The hotel is clean, well located and the service was good. My only complaint is that the breakfast, which was a little more than a continental breakfast, was not complimentary, like so many other hotels of the same type. We were planning on having breakfast elsewhere with our kids, so we only had coffee and a couple hard boiled eggs, thinking it was complimentary. They charged us $25/pp. Had we known, we would’ve not eaten any of it. The other thing that was off-putting was that our room was ready at 11:30, but they wanted to charge us a fee of $25 to check-in early, even though noon was the regular check-in time.
- 1/5
Front desk unfriendly
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home! The cookies were the best every night, always warm! We loved being walking distance to so many good restaurants as well.
- 5/5
Hotel located in the Pruneyard and has so many food options. Walkable to restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and nice. The only thing that could be improved is the parking situation.
- 5/5
It was nice
- 4/5
I enjoyed how family friendly it was. I was not able to enjoy the pool that much because it was dirty at times.
- 5/5
The staff was exceptional! Thank you!
- 5/5
Nice stay. Clean, relatively quiet. Pruneyard location provides a nice place to walk. Comfortable bedding. Walk in shower provides enough room to move around. Toilet placement bangs in to the door when you open it. Overall good place, would stay again. Friendly front staff.
- 4/5
The place was very cleanly and a good price for what you get. It came with a small gym and pool which were also pretty nice. Our room was spacious. We were overlooking a dumpster or something like that which is why I think we paid a little less, but we didn't care much for the view. Everything about our room was good for the most part except for the fact that it doesn't come with a microwave. I would give this place 5 stars, but when we booked through Expedia, we paid an extra like $20 for insurance and also the "free" breakfast. When my boyfriend and I actually sat down and ate the breakfast, the employee at the continental breakfast gave us a bill for $50 ($25/person). We didn't say anything about it, because we didn't want to be like one of those people, but I thought that was just weird since it did say we paid for the free breakfast when we booked.
- 3/5
For $25!!!! You can choose the cold breakfast for $15 which included a bowl of cereal, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. It'd be cheaper to walk over to their little store in the hotel and buy it. It was ridiculous to me. I've been in hotels that didn't have free breakfast. But then it was a restaurant. Not the same Continental breakfast that everybody else include. I would consider staying there again, but I sure will never make the mistake of going there for breakfast.
- 5/5
Welcoming guest services were very kind absolutely wonderful stay will be staying here more often when it calls for
- 5/5

Food options nearby. Access to highways. Close but not too close. Room OK
- 5/5
From early check in to easy check out, great experience! Desk staff was very nice & helpful. Loved free parking and the cookie! The walkable shopping area is nice, many choices for food & coffee & a Trader Joe's for extras. Room was quiet, bed was very comfortable & bathroom clean. Loved the mature greenery, making view from window really cool. We truly enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
This room is better than last week when I stayed here .
- 4/5
Comfy bed, Ada room had very little natural light, sink did not dram well and safe was inoperable.

Clean, rooms were nice and comfortable, was able to use the internet without any issues. Staff was great and made sure we had everything we needed everything is in walking distance food, shops, etc.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, rooms are good size.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and very accommodating since I was in a wheel chair
- 4/5
Lots of shops in the Pruneyard which is convenient. Biggest complaint is that people aren't picking up their dog poo. The ho
- 2/5
Cleaning staff was being super loud by 7am and constantly interrupted our sleep with noise & throughout the night with no regard for guests arriving late and needing to sleep. No DT greeting upon arrival and overall don’t recommend.
- 4/5
I liked that I felt safe. It was uniquely placed in the back center of the Pruneyard Shopping Center which gave me great access to a variety of shopping experiences. There were some minor defects to my particular room, but I am very peculiar and notice all the small details. Otherwise, my stay was pleasant and the gym and pool area are superb!
- 5/5
Stayed her to attend a wedding in
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff
- 4/5
Great location and delicious cookies upon check-in. We often stay at this hotel whenever traveling through San Jose. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. My only concern was that we had a room with a bunch of workout equipment in it, which was cool, but not cool that there were no sanitizing wipes like at the gym. Would love to see this addition in the future!
- 5/5
The hotel has a good location for many walkable restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very excellent accommodation for someone who just broke her foot and came straight from the hospital.
- 5/5
Hotel was a few steps away from the Pruneyard shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend this place to others who want to stay in the area.
- 4/5
I like being next to the Pruneyard. Didn't like the TV. Hard to navigate.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 1/5
The fire alarm was triggered at 4:30am which turned out to be a false alarm. But it took the hotel until after 5:30am to get the alarm turned off. No apology or even an offer of some credit. Not good service.
- 4/5
Great location!
- 3/5
We had several issues with the cleanliness of our bedding and a cockroach in our room. These issues were taken seriously by the staff and taken care of immediately.
- 3/5
Gym was nice and clean. Staff friendly, not sure if I’ll stay there the next time I come to the area
- 5/5
It was perfect, great front desk, great service for breakfast in their restaurant. Restaurants everywhere in walking distance. Great Hotel
- 5/5
We love the pool and the accessibility to all the pruneyard shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay with the friendliest staff! Clean and in a convenient location. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
We really liked the cleanliness of the rooms and the property as a whole. The hotel bathroom and shower seemed recently renovated. The self parking was okay during the day, but in the evening it was very hard to find a spot. Overall we liked our stay and if we visit again we probably would stay there again.
- 5/5
It was excellent
- 3/5
It wasn’t to bad but I didn’t have the experience I was expecting for the price.
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
We always have a great experience at the Double Tree. Keep the cookies coming!!
- 5/5
It was an overall nice experience to stay in this hotel. We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip walnut cookies that my son was so happy to eat after a long drive. The property is well kept and the staff are very helpful. It was convenient to be able to use my streaming accounts; it made it feel home away from home. The accounts are logged off when we leave. We will be coming again.
- 5/5
Very nice place with lots of dinning and fun options around
- 5/5
We always have a comfortable stay at the DoubleTree at Pruneyard. This visit was especially nice because we were on the 1st floor, and the environment was very quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the next room, or from the hallway. It was perfect. Thank you!
- 5/5
Love this place, my favorite place to stay in San Jose
- 5/5
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
- 5/5
Ive stayed before and its always nice access to shopping food and entertainment
- 3/5
I liked the area. The room they put me in seemed to be an old surveillance room of the sort. My view was all the old equipment that was piled up right outside my door. The curtain did not work, so it was hard to avoid staring out at the area of old piled up equipment
- 5/5
It’s nice
- 5/5
Staff was great and very friendly
- 4/5
Very pretty, nice and clean but there was an event right outside my room with a dj that was so lays it was hard to hear my tv and it took about 20 min for the shower to go from lukewarm to hot. Thought something was wrong with the hot water and 2 kids finished their shower before it got warm. But other than that it was a nice stay
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms clean. One of the elevators broke down, but my stay there was pleasant overall. I would stay there again.
- 2/5
The room was clean however the room location was extremely noisy. It was located overlooking the lobby, next to a conference room (which hosted a very loud worship service), and outside the window was a patio area with late night drinkers. Many rooms are located near the lobby/conference rooms so make sure to ask for a quiet room.
- 5/5
The only negative comment I could share is the fact that we had a kitchenette but no soap was available but other than that it was fine
- 4/5
Staff were so welcoming and professional , clean and very quiet
- 5/5
Easy check in and check out.
- 3/5
It had everything you needed and the staff is nice.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean place to stay. I will stay there again.
- 3/5
Parking not convinced
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful! That warm cookie at arrival!!!! Room was really clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. I prefer to stay at this hotel once a year during my church conference it was clean. I felt safe and the service is impeccable. I was able to get an early check-in with no additional charge which was extremely convenient for me. I highly recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Fabulous location! Good eats! Amazing! Spacious rooms!

Great!
- 4/5
Great hotel and convenient for travelling at LAX
- 5/5
Great staff. Comfortable room
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
It smelled little strange from cleaning chemicals. The comforter on one of the beds needs to be replaced. It had several lumps of down feathers or whatever the stuffing is was clumped in lumps through the comforter.
- 3/5
the room was mostly quiet at night. the shower controls did not work
- 5/5
Enjoyed the clean rooms and super friendly service! The cookies were also amazing!
- 4/5
The housekeeping was top tier, beds and pillows fantastic. Checkin was easy. Only complaint was the cover on the air/heat unit fell apart into pieces on the floor overnight. But would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Clicking sound around 3 am kept us up for an hour or so. Shut off heater and unplugged unit but still audible.
- 5/5
Great experience. Nicolas checked us in he was extremely helpful. Our room was accommodating, clean and Comfortable. Our only complaint was that my Husband hurt his foot on the trestle stepping out From bathroom to the floor. There was a lg transition and it was unnoticeable and he hit his Foot and tripped on it. Not good! I also tripped a couple of times. Maintenance needed to repair the area so That no one else gets hurt. Outside of that, it was a great stay.
- 5/5
Nice and clean . Very comfortable.
- 5/5
Wonderful modern, comfortable and spacious room. Loved the multiple mirrors throughout and a makeup mirror in the bathroom. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
- 2/5
The room we got smelled a lot like wet mold, had to was all my clean clothes due to odor of mold on clothes
- 5/5
Always a good experience, that’s why we always stay at doubletree properties
- 4/5
Busy area in the evening which can make parking tough then. Hotel is clean and restaurant is great. Staff supervisor was helpful in moving us since there was a party going on outside of my 1st floor room. 3rd floor room was awesome. Location is great for shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
I loved the location and all the convenient shopping nearby.
