We were three people staying in a king suite and the room was dilapidated. The bathroom had a crack in the ceiling above the bathtub that was leaking from the room above. Staff was not that helpful as they said there were no other rooms available nor were they willing to do more than 3,000 points to mollify us. In the morning, the crack in the ceiling opened up and came down into the bathroom tub and they finally agreed to move us to another room. In addition the sofa bed was incredibly dilapidated and uncomfortable for our daughter who is unable to sleep during the night because of it. The room was dark and dingy and really needed to be refreshed as to the whole property. You used to stay in Residence Inns all the time but I don't think will do that anymore as they seem not to care about their properties. We received nothing in compensation for first night which was an incredible disappointment.

We were traveling as 2 couples with a dog. The second story loft bedroom and second bathroom were good for our group. Good proximity to downtown San Jose attractions, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was okay but not great. We were given differing information by different staff members regarding breakfast information (it was not as good as we were originally told), access for our dog (different from what we were originally told). Also, the kitchen in the unit had very limited plates and utensils. Also you had to walk all the way to the office to get ice which wasn’t great considering it was raining. But the biggest issue for us was that we had to pay $150 for our dog for a 1 night stay. They say it covers up to 5 days but I had that discussion when I initially called the property. But this was the only property near downtown that had a room to accommodate 2 couples and a dog. Based on all of the above I would likely not stay here again.

Location set up of room Well the coffee cups were dirty coffee from guests before us were still in cups
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and polite. The room was clean and had all the things we needed. We did not try their breakfast.
- 4.5/5
size of room and location needs more phone plug ins near beds. Difficult to plug in cpap and phones at same time.
- 5/5
The property is very cozy and immaculate. Rooms are clean and the staff extremely helpful. I also loved the delicious breakfast. I am going back to Los Gatos in 5-weeks and plan to stay here.
- 5/5
Charming landscape, warm colors in kitchen suite, great hot breakfast!
- 2.5/5
The location was convenient. The laundry facilities worked great. We ended up with an accessible room, which was awkward and inconvenient. I pulled a chair into the bathroom so we would have a place to put our stuff down beside the sink.

Staff was great. Room was dirty, run down, a few bugs. AC, refrigerator didn’t work, toilet hard to flush. Didn’t even stay the second night. Very poor for a Marriott. Would never stay here again.

While the property is somewhat dated, it is maintained very well. Rooms were clean & well appointed. Front desk staff was very helpful & welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Staff friendly, nice hot breakfast options, parking decent, clean rooms.
- 4/5
The staffs were excellent! Front desk and kitchen staffs very accommodating. The housekeepers were excellent as well. Room very clean. The property is old and worn. Could use an upgrade on amenities such as bar soap, no body lotion.
- 5/5
Extremely homey, spacious, and comfortable. Conveniently located.
- 4/5
We just returned from 3 day stay. Our unit was located upstairs we are generally in good shape but found lugging luggage up the steps was a bit much ( on a next visit we would request a bottom unit ). The front door to the unit was difficult to open, it seemed to stick shut and using the key card was a multi try ordeal. Inside the unit we found it to be comfortable and well furnished. Parking was tight but available. I would stay at this location again.
- 4/5
Yes good parking, clean room
- 3/5
The first impression was things looked run down. The first room we couldn’t get open easily or not at all other times we tried. the staff came got it the first time but could get it to open 2nd or 3rd time. Pretty scary if you wanted to get out fast. We were moved to another room. Door worked well. Bed was comfortable, parking was close to us. but we woke to see a cockroach in our shower. We didn’t stay for the breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice big room, clean, ac worked well
- 4/5
The parking situation is very tough especially if you have a large vehicle. You need larger forks in you rooms perhaps. Room 211 had the smallest of forks to use to eat with. Room was clean and staff was friendly and professional.
- 4/5
No alarm clock, reception failed to give me Wi-Fi info. Confusing room layout
- 4/5
All of the Above
- 5/5
Staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. Room was clean and QUIET, perfect for us. Breakfast was adequate and nice, good menu choices. Check in and check out a breeze.
- 4/5
also tv remote didn't work
- 5/5
Clean and comfy! We love it here
- 4/5
Convenient to where we were going.
- 5/5
We loved our stay, the room was clean, quiet property, and we appreciated having a kitchen with micro, fridge, and stovetop.
- 5/5
This hotel is well-equipped, clean, spacious, and quiet. It also has convenient transportation access.
- 5/5
This is actually one of my favorite properties. In comparison it’s definitely a smaller hotel BUT it’s nestled away in a location where almost everything is in walkable distance. Staff is friendly, breakfast is acceptable and my absolute favorite part of the rooms are the genuine wood burning fireplaces. Definitely worth staying here in my opinion 👍👍
- 3/5
Tub was not cleaned. Had hair I. The tub and something grindy on it.
- 4/5
Parking is really tight
- 3/5
The unit air conditioner was broken the vents were bent and the front door was broken hard to push in and it had popcorn ceiling
- 4/5
food came out long after the start time so i made due with partial nenu
- 4/5
my first time at a residence inn - great concept as it allows much more space and surfaces to work on and not having to dine out so much - on the down side the kitchen light was blinking on and off, needed a light in the middle of the room, tub drain seemed plugged - but despite these small things it was great
- 2/5
Fairly dingy room with empty bathroom supplies and a broken shower that didn't drain. The staff very politely and kindly told me they couldn't to do anything about it.
- 5/5
Love the feel of a small apartment, personal outside entrance, and has everything you need.
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Really old and outdated. Breakfast sucks. We stayed for 3 night, not once room was cleaned. Beds are not comfortable.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the couch was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Shout out to Lisa for being a great front desk clerk.
- 2/5
We stayed here 27 years ago when we moved to Ohio and wanted to stay when we returned. Staff was great. We were given an ADA room, and when we checked in late due to a late flight there were 2 blowers in the room and no hangers. We had to remind the service next morning to pick up the blowers. Asked to clean our room just once and never was cleaned after 4 days. Staff was great breakfast was good. Had to get towels twice. Rooms need a refresh and TV is old technology.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 5/5
very clean, the food was good, and it was relaxing to be there, felt like a home away from home
- 5/5
There was soooo much to love about this place: quiet, secure, clean, very nice landscaping. good parking. loved the stocked kitchen and fireplace. Staff was EXCELLENT - so friendly and very helpful. the *only reason it's not a 5 star all the way is there was a leak in the bath ceiling that made using the shower kinda yucky. BUT staff was very responsive, but we had checked out before it was repaired. overall we would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend this property!
- 4/5
Included some “no sugar” drinks and some fruit and bread selections And trash can overflow/ need to be emptied
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Great value and location. Room very comfortable

- 5/5
Parking for hotels in downtown San Jose is quite costly. If I had spent my entire trip at the Residence Inn San Jose Campbell instead, I would have had less hassle looking for spots and saved a lot on parking.
- 4/5
Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was curteous and helpful. Parking was fantastic. Room lacked shampoo and body wash. Overall great experience. Would stay again.
- 4/5
A nice place. The room was large with a full kitchen. The kitchen is ideal for take out food but not well stocked for cooking.
- 3/5
The room freshener was very strong and didn’t smell good or natural. The pull out couch didn’t have a sheet set in the room. The room felt old and not very clean.
- 5/5
Great experience, and clean room
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 2/5
The room looked like it was last done is the late 80's. Smelled of smoke, hair in the shower, and overall really bad setup. Yes, I should have requested another room but at check in they made it should like the last ground floor room (which I wanted) and I was exhausted after a really long drive. Thankfully I bring my own sheets and cleaning supplies (yes, I am THAT person. Get sick enough after hotel stays and ya learn!). I was always able to get parking close to my room area, so that is a plus. It was also near where I needed to be.
- 4/5
Stayed for 3 nights. Room was like the pictures. It was clean. A few stains on the floor. Bed was comfortable and having the fridge ice maker was great. Breakfast was decent. Walking distance to a grocery was convenient. Friendly staff.
- 1/5
This property is horrible. The rooms are dated, smell, and furnishings are old and sparse. The living room of our 2 bedroom "suite" had a beat up love seat and nothing else other than a small dated TV. There were no pictures on the walls, just white walls everywhere. The beds were two full sized beds, in rooms that could easily hold a queen or a king. The photos on their website do NOT match the rooms. The bathrooms are dated, in bad shape. Counters are like 2 feet off the ground, tub did not drain, and had no plug even if you wanted to take a bath. Will never stay at this property, or any Residence Inn that is not an interior sort of property.
- 4/5
My family like the room. It's big space with a whole kitchen and two separate rooms. Clean and quiet. The price is unbeatable.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 4/5
The place is nicely landscaped. The bed in 914 needs an update. The parking was not free 14 dollars a day.
- 2/5
There were homeless people working on their car in the parking lot. The available breakfast was not very appetizing. There was limited dining in the area.
- 5/5
I forgot hot tub and pool too 😊😁👍 Ill be back soon
- 3/5
Great room and location! Quiet, polite guests. However #312's shower very slow to drain. I stayed 4 days; no mention of room service of any kind. Workers who are very fastidious should work the breakfast. The floors, counters were always sticky. Garbage can always full. Condiments were sticky and messy.
- 1/5
Dated, breakfast not served at posted times, dark and dingey.
- 4/5
Older property.
- 5/5
Lisa was very friendly and accommodating along w the rest of the staff. Haven't been back in my hometown in a while and they made us feel at home.
- 5/5
This hotel was great, room was extremely comfortable so nice to have a full kitchen. Staff was attentive and the breakfast was great. My only complaint is that I got an error message every time I tried to use the WiFi and ended up needing to use my cell phones hot spot.
- 3/5
Very nice place. But Beware of the 14 dollar parking fee that they reveal to you at time of check in only!
- 5/5
It was very clean and the grounds were very nice!
- 5/5
Each room is a little apartment with a kitchen nook and space to relax and to work. Rooms are quiet. Good restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
Handy
- 5/5
Clean and spacious rooms.
- 4/5
Beautiful grounds. Well maintained, clean older property with not much of interest in the area. But convenient to the freeways.
- 5/5
Very comfortable, good breakfasts, nice to have a kitchen.
- 5/5
Front desk crews good service.
- 4/5
Clean and quite.
- 5/5
Nice and large space.
- 5/5
This property was perfect for what we needed it for. My husband was hospitalized in the area and I needed a place to accommodate myself and my MIL. The loft room was perfect, and gave us each enough privacy. Along with the kitchen to reheat food and cook some meals. The breakfast was amazing according to my MIL, she enjoyed it every morning during our stay. The hotel is a little bit dated but for the price point, location and conveniences it was perfect for us. My elderly MIL felt safe and the staff were very friendly. If I had to stay in the area, I would definitely return here. It wasn’t a vacation location, but it was definitely convenient for us. It was clean and spacious, we used the laundry facilities without issue and were happy with the entire experience.
- 4/5
It’s ok.
- 2/5
The tv was too low you can watch it the bed was tall And charged for parking
- 4/5
Room was a good size, bed was comfortable however lighting was not adequate.

I had been staying in this facility for about two weeks and when i wanted to stay an additional day, a staff member gave me problems. I decided to not stay there ever again

What I didn't like was that all of the dining plates/bowls were on the third top shelf which is impossible for a short person to reach!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, had no problems sleeping, and the parking lot was easy to get in and out.
- 5/5
Comfortable, quiet, safe place. Very attentive staff.
- 5/5
Well run and clean hotel. Very impressive!
- 1/5
At night avoid if possible
- 5/5
Our quick stay was great. Staff was wonderful and professional. The only thing I would complain about is the breakfast closing at 9:30! We had a slow start to the morning and we missed it by minutes. Other than that it was wonderful.
- 5/5
I loved the flowering plants around the sidewalks and buildings. The rooms were nice and spacious.
- 2/5
Found spider in shower room.
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The spare covers and other items for the fold out couch was not replaced for our suite. Other than that it was everything we needed and expected.
- 4/5
Breakfast was quite a bit of selection and area was kept quite clean and stocked with food. Overall great place to stay, good value for price, would stay again if need arose.
- 5/5
Everything I needed was in the kitchen (need 409 maybe), . The only thing I would change is the bath towels, get much larger ones, for sure. LOL, my son said Mama look T this towel I asked if he was using a hand towel? He's a big guy, still waping up in a big when it's cold feels good. No cell service from inside apt. Kind of a good thing no cell phone zone. Nice. keep it up 4 3/4 stars Thank you, D & J
- 5/5
Perfect place for family. Safe and quiet
- 5/5
great
- 2/5
Room was very dated and dirty with several areas of damage on the vents, ceiling, etc. Room quality was that of a 1-1.5 star motel. Definitely the worst residence inn I have been to. "Affordable" hotels are tough to find in this area, but I recommend trying a different option.
- 5/5
Location is great. Staff are awesome.
- 5/5
Room is really a little home, a minikitchen, a sitting area and bed and bath. Lots of cupboard space.
- 4/5
No body wash!
- 3/5
My biggest complaint is that WiFi sucked! I even paid for "enhanced" internet which we weren't able to share across devices successfully. Even on one device, it almost never connected/kept dropping out. And sadly, even 5G connection was bad in this room! There was one corner of the room where we had to huddle to get any service. Breakfast was VERY average too. Big advantage was that room has full kitchen but we didn't really use it. Bedding is okay, not very comfortable.
- 5/5
great location clean reasonable price.
- 5/5
Clean, affordable nice area
- 4/5
The hot water was in short supply in our room, three family members staying, but not enough for all three of us to have a hot shower.
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very safe and comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
This room is spacious and nicely set up. Breakfast was your basic overcooked eggs and waffle maker coffee was surprisingly good. Will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
We had room 1011: the coffee maker did not have a basket with which to brew coffee. Fortunately we were going elsewhere for morning coffee.
- 5/5
Good decent place and breakfast was fine. Quiet good bed and shower. Good kitchen with TV viewing area with a couch but there was no chair for the desk which did not matter to us.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 3/5
There was a school retreat staying the weekend and they were very loud all night long. The room including kitchen and bathroom were nice and clean.
- 5/5
It was clean and it had everything we needed.
- 5/5

- 1/5
Sidewalks unsafe, tree roots lifting them. Overall the place needs a good cleaning and upgrade. Furniture is at least 30 years old. Half the lights didnt work, tile coming off in shower. Used the laundry, washer caught on fire. We are Bonvoy members and are extremely disappointed.
- 5/5
It is a good 1 night stay, everything from check-in to check-out and a good breakfast
- 4/5
I love the feel of a mini suite with a full kitchen, FREE full breakfast & location however the building/room is very outdated with many areas that need minor cosmetic repairs. No USB ports, TV on a 2 foot stand on the side of the bed (not fun for one of us) and there’s stains on the walls and tub. It’s clean enough that I’d stay again for the price & location but just wish they would fix these small things that would make a huge difference. Love the tranquil landscape that surrounds the complex.
- 5/5
Perfect place for an extended stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. Will definitely return.
- 5/5
Excellent job
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Limited breakfast options. Rooms need renovation. Easy access to food options.
- 3/5
The bath tub wasn’t cleaned well the patio door was missing a door lock on the handle. The window had a broken lock and couldn’t be opened. Window pane was cracked. Service provided by the staff was great.
- 4/5
We stay there a lot. Usually a pleasant stay. Breakfast quality has decreased unfortunately. No more yogurt? As a vegetarian, it was disappointing there weren’t other choices than eggs. Cold cereal option also wasn’t that healthy. Rice crispies and corn flakes. Bread options were dry- English muffin and biscuits tasted old. No peanut butter. No nondairy milks.
- 4/5
Wonderful stay. Good location.
- 1/5
I arrived after purchasing a non-refundable reservation and was told the pet fee was $150. I had no escape from this whopper of a fee. Not a deposit...the ridiculous fee!! I had a total melt down because it was already expensive. Then I was told there was also a parking fee. They blamed expedia for not disclosing this, but this should be shown on their posting. I was furious!
- 5/5
Large spacious room, close to a busy street yet quiet. Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
We stayed two nights. Very comfortable. Breakfast was great! We’ll be back.
- 5/5
I will stay again.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean, and it has free breakfast.
- 4/5
The room is not clean but comfortable. Lots of food debris (cookie crumbs?) on the couch and under the couch cushions, dirt on tables and carpet. Room is also very outmoded; condition is far behind other Residence Inns. However, the room is quiet and comfortable for short stay. Cell phone signals are weak, and in room WiFi helps a lot, but the it would be good if owner can talk to those 3 major mobile phone companies to improve signal coverage.
- 5/5
My room was very clean and comfortable! Will come again!
- 3/5
Don’t stay unless you take a strong person to push the room door open!!!
- 2/5
Old and rundown property. Door lock was not working well which made entering the room a bit challenging. Bathroom and shower probably have not been remodeled since the 80s. Sub par breakfast. Charges $14 for overnight parking which is surprising for a hotel in Campbell.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful, great breakfast, clean room. A few maintenance things that needed to be addressed but I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Spacious loft, great for families. Three TVs, two bathrooms. Two beds plus a pull-out bed in the couch. Quiet. Lots of food options nearby.
- 4/5
The kitchens could use a few more basic supplies. The breakfast area is very nice.
