Room was clean enough but not fully stocked—only one towel . Pool too grimy to use. In room coffee maker had dust/mold in it. Lobby coffee was very weak. Breakfast choices unappetizing—molded eggs, waffles, red delicious apples. Good enough place to stay buy amenities poor quality.

Shower heads were horrible. Card reader wasn't working well when we were there so had to take a trip back to the front desk to get the card re-keyed. Housekeeping staff pressured us to leave 15-20 min before the noon check out time. So all in all....an economical stay, but kinda felt the age of this hotel.

I went in a little early as I was just coming from a 400 mile drive and the lady was very helpful with getting me a room before the three o'clock check-in. I want to make note that this hotel is the only hotel in the area that will let you bring your cat inside. Every hotel that said they are pet friendly are liars if they're dog only. Anyways, they have a swimming pool and free WiFi. They gave me 2 queen beds and it was a large room for me, my daughter, and her cat. Thanks for the good quick stay LaQuinta!

They charged us an additional $100 and didn’t tell us. I was told that they had to update the number of guests on the reservation but no one said we would be charged extra. There were dead bugs on the stairs, and they had no towels during our stay. The breakfast was not good, so we chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast the second day. The hotel staff were sometimes helpful, but some made you feel like an inconvenience. The hotel room keys did not work and we had to get help to open the door.

The first night there we were welcomed to cockroaches. Ok our way back from the gas station the sidewalk had rats on it. The pool towels were over used and the hotel room towels were little to none.

This hotel is under construction right now, so things were messy, dusty and loud. I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned. I then had an AC unit that was very loud on and off all night. It was not a great stay but normally really like La Quinta.

My friend had to go to the front desk every time he needed in his room as the key would not work. I believe he had twelve keys before the end of our two night stay. This was very frustrating and led to cold meals and time wasted. Other than that, this were great.

Paint smell, construction actively going on. Would have been nice to know this before booking. The pet area was also the smoking area, and not mowed or kept up. As far as not being mowed, I can see why, there didn't seem to be a single sqaure inch of grass on the property. Cigarette ash trays all full, trash cans didnt seem to be emptied - I saw the same convenience store fountain cup in the overflowing trash, two of the three days I was there by the front entry.

Apparently the hotel is going through renovations. Almost every wall had a wet paint sign, ceiling tiles removed. They also decided to paint the stairwell right next to our room. The smell was really strong and caused headaches. The “store” was maybe 20% full. Wifi that was used was from another hotel which seemed odd.Breakfast was the only “positive” point. Choices in breads, cereals, and waffle maker.

They are currently remodeling. It was hard to get a hold of the front desk staff half the time. But when we did, they were very nice & accommodating. It’s located right across the street from a truck stop so not that nice of an area, but great dining options within a half mile or so. They offered a simple buffet breakfast but we did not partake.

Unbeknowst to us, this La Quinta was under construction. Pulling up to the front place were obvious signs such as bags of construction materials you had to walk around, long grass and very unkept surroundings around the hotel. Inside it had a very strong odor of paint and another odor, maybe drywall. Whatever it was it was not pleasant. Plastic sheeting was taped all over the hotel, with wet paint signs up in same places from one day to the next. The amenities were also very sparse. No bathmat, kleenex, tiny towels. The breakfast was the worst I'd had ever seen. Super weak coffee, watery eggs, sausage pattie that made frisbees seem preferable. No butter, but had "buttery spread" no peanut butter just one type of jam. The fruit were old, small and shriveled, no kidding! One last thing, often the front desk had no one there but had a sign that said, "Back in 10 minutes." The only thing semi-good about this place is the cost is less than many others, but it still isn't worth it.

The hotel is in the middle of renovations which was not disclosed during our booking or online check in. We found out upon arrive and discovered that most amenities were closed due to renovations, including the pool and convenience store. It was pretty noisy and kept our dogs on edge all through the night. The room had been freshly painted though not finished which was fine, the bathroom was done and the shower was decent though lacked water pressure. The staff was friendly though so that was a nice positive.

From the moment I pulled up into the parking lot I should’ve looked around for another hotel. The hotel was under complete renovation the parking lot had a bunch of material and an area of its lot. The grounds look like they had not been kept up for quite some time.. I understand it’s winter in the northwest but this was maintenance and pair and care of premises.

We have stayed at this hotel three times before and been pleased with the experience. This trip, the hotel is re-modeling and two evenings we had to squeeze past work carts, material and trash to get to our room. The room and the hallways had telltale signs of construction work. The contractors need on site supervision to avoid these experiences and not burden hotel staff.

Unfortunately I chose the wrong hotel. This hotel is fine for a single man or group of men, but it is not comfortable for a woman traveling alone or with another female, nor would I stay there with young children. I have stayed comfortably in La Quinta hotels up and down I-5, so chose this hotel due to price and the advertised indoor pool and hot tub. Once I checked in I became less and less comfortable. The carpets were eye jarring, the luggage trolley truly filthy, the pool was cloudy and looked unsafe, when I questioned the one and only employee that seemed to be on the property, they said it's checked on Monday (my stay was Sat.), the hot tub was clean but the jets were explosive fountains of water, pool towels were not restocked and available. smell of room deoderizer or cleaning liquids was was so overwhelming you could taste it, the card keys, I was warned at check in "weren't easy to use, so just keep trying", at times taking me 10 or more tries to unlock my door. Opening my window to clear out the heavy smell was no help as the back up beeping and jake-breaking of the semis at the huge truck stop across the street made relaxing difficult. Common areas like the pool and pop machine room had insufficient lighting. Outside back and side doors were left propped open reducing the feeling of security and the front desk was not continually manned, but had a bell where one had to wait till the one employee showed up. I was glad to leave.

Staff refused to let me check in with third party and requested I cancel and rebook with hotel at check in, then advised me there would be additional rules not listed and I was not allowed to have guests at all. Visiting from out of town to see family and planned to have my daughter stop by to visit , not stay. Horrible service and asked why I was even booking the room and requested additional deposit . This is my first time traveling alone and last time booking there . I worry about booking with third party now without verifying I can check in from this point forward.

Outside of the property is in disarray. The carpets in the hallways are dirty and bubbling up from the floor. When I entered the room, it had a weird smell of almost like wetness. None of the plug-ins on the light fixtures worked. Due to this, I had to unplug the lamp and alarm clock to plug in my accessories. All of the lamps had different shades of light bulbs and the one next to the bed did not have a bulb in it. The bed was comfortable but all the pillows were different sizes or shapes. Breakfast was very small and coffee was not good. Not the normal La Quinta freshness or cleanliness that we are used too.

My stay was from Thursday, to Monday. Room service did not assist in changing or providing new anything. Never once visited our room. I had to request new towels nightly. Not sure if this is normal, on their behalf. But I would not go back.

Pluses: Convenient location, adjacent to the highway, and our king room was clean. Online advance check-in was easy and saved time on arrival. Cons: We had trouble getting our plugs to work in the electrical outlets and we had to keep jiggling the plugs before they finally engaged (a problem we've never had elsewhere); two of the pillows felt like they were stuffed with crumpled plastic bags, and one of the wall outlets had no cover plate. A couple of places on the bathroom walls were primed but unpainted. Not a big deal, but notable nonetheless.

We stay at this hotel every time we go to and from ca. to Wa. Our only complaint is the breakfast. Don’t repo ish the food items when they are gone. They need someone to take care of the breakfast area only. Right now the lady at the front desk checking people out and taking care of everything else tries to do the breakfast area also. She can’t do everything.

The property is undergoing renovations so there was construction materials blocking one side. The pet friendly room was right by the pet area on the first floor away from the construction so that was good. There was parking for oversized vehicles. The location is right by the highway and a truck stop so if you’re a light sleeper this may not be a good choice. The staff was efficient and friendly. Basic breakfast (egg and sausage sandwich makings, waffles and cereal) was included.

We live in the same town as the hotel and our air-conditioning went out so we booked online and when we got to the hotel, we were told we could not check in because we live too close to the hotel. We returned away and not refunded our money. It was devastating! We spent all our money on this hotel and had to go home to a hot house.

I feel significantly mislead by other reviews. The hotel is dirty and run down. Our sheets and towels are dirty and stained. The floors are dirty and there was hair from a previous occupant on our mattress and on the shower. There’s scratching on the walls and it looks like they painted the toilet seat instead of replacing it. This place is gross.

I believe that it is in transition or has new owners, because its clear there is working being done on the property. The rooms were a tad dingy. The locks on the door were tricky to get into. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Breakfast was very, very limited. Barely saw any staff around. Check in and out was pretty easy though! Definitely get what you pay for.

I booked the room around 11:20pm. Showed up at the hotel 11:30p. Tried to check in. The front desk person immediately started complaining about what I already paid. Said that Expedia changed the rate. Tried to charge me more. I said I wouldn’t pay more. I said” I guess I’m not checking in and he said “right”. He was extremely rude. Wouldn’t let me check in without charging me more then I prepaid. I was out on the street and he charged my card anyways. I have a case with Expedia, hoping to get a refund. Expedia did not change the hotel rate. What I pre-paid 10 minutes before reflected one key credit. I was treated rudely. Denied check in and still charged. I ended up finding a super 8 down the street to sleep at.

I planned a two-day (~800-mile) drive from Seattle to Napa Valley. Medford is roughly the half-way point. I found a very excellent rate for this hotel. I ate dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant and got a simple breakfast sandwich and latte at a cute local coffee shop a few miles away.

We had a terrible time, the room and hotel was absolutely filthy, it was in a terrifying part of town where people were sleeping in their car. It was so noisy, it was so difficult to sleep. We actually feared for our safety.

I was arriving from out of state for a wedding and requested to be able to check in early which they said they could accommodate. Upon arrival they told me they would be lucky to have it ready by the time check-in comes around at 4 PM. After about an hour, they finally were able to get me into a room. I know this is not something they have to do, but I was told it would be possible otherwise I would’ve booked somewhere else. Also, the photos do not match up with what it looks like upon arrival inside. They are in the middle of remodeling so it’s noisy and not well put together. Definitely would’ve booked somewhere else if I would’ve known their under construction.

Rooms are outdated but staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s right next to i5 so the freeway noise is constant. The AC worked but was so loud. Made really loud noise all night long. A basketball team was visiting and they had rooms above us, needless to say, constant noise from them until about 2am. That, the freeway and obnoxious AC was a lot. Maybe a different room would have been better. Not a bad area. Felt safe. Very close to food and the rogue family fun center

The room was okay. Overall, considering the price and the stay, it was acceptable. However, breakfast was not good at all. It's suitable for just one night if you're traveling for a long time. Although it is advertised as a 3-star hotel, my impression was that it doesn't quite meet that standard.

The 1st thing we noticed when we got in the room was the strong smell of bleach. Looking back I wish we would have changed rooms right then but we unpacked and headed out to The Family fun Center. We we got back we discovered the bathroom door did not close all the way, the bedding and pillows were horrible. Big lumps in the pillows. There were not enought towels for all of us and found out they were being washed and wouldn't be ready till 8:00pm. The room sure needed an upgrade.I felt like I didnt want to touch anything in the room even though I wiped it down myself with lysol wipes. The pool had band aids around the pool and water cold. Jacuzzi had soap bubbles all of a sudden after we were in about 30 mins coming out of it. The washers were nearby so it made ne wonder. Then the worst part. At midnight we are hearing banging and noises and vacuuming. The walls were also so thin we could hear our neighbors talking and when they went to the bathroom or using their sink. No good night sleep for us. Beds not comfortable. For the price I paid it was nuts. And we were so tired we didnt make it to the free breakfast that ended at 9:00am on Sat. Never again would we stay there.

I stayed one night with my two kids on our road trip. This hotel was perfect and everything that we needed. The kids loved the indoor pool while I soaked in the hot tub, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was freshly painted with a new bathroom. Clean and comfortable beds and room. Double window on the freeway side of the room so I didn’t even hear one truck! The breakfast was delicious and free and I would absolutely stay here again.
