The water slide was a great treat for the kids! Next time hopefully the hot tub will be available...

Indoor pool, we did not use. Waterslide seemed a big hit amongst other guests! The hot tub was out of order! We had a dog, seemed odd pet friendly room on second floor! Breakfast very simple! The waffles seemed to be in high demand but not of interest to us! Coffee very limited! Had to request refills! Adequate for money, but definitely no frills!

The life guard on duty was super nice to all the kids. The room was very clean and the room was comfortable.

You can tell this motel has stepped up their game. I stayed here once a few years ago and it was getting pretty run down. They've done some renovations , and it shows. The staff are super helpful, act like they genuinely care about their job and the clientele they serve. The front desk gals went above and beyond to accommodate our stay when the booking site I went through told me I was SOL. The pool / life guard / maintenance guy takes his job to heart and went out of his way to stay a bit later so my husband N myself could enjoy the slide and pool for a few minutes after the kiddos exited for the night. I have to admit the slide was a bit more thrill than I had anticipated, but it was a definite blast and the pool was pleasantly warm. We ended up extending our stay an additional night because we enjoyed our stay so much. It's been a few years since I've stayed here and you can tell they've stepped up their game. I'll definitely be back. Thank you all at Super8!

It looks like a fun hotel with a pool but the dry wall in the bathrooms are falling down and they may just double book your room. Stay at your own risk.

Honestly, we pulled up to the hotel couldn’t even find the front door the signs broken out front overgrown trees, dead weeds then you pull into the parking lot and see Methhead everywhere. There was a van full of convicts not sure what they were gonna be doing and then a prostitute walked in to check in at the front desk. I had two rooms reserved and I never stepped foot in that hotel. We drove off and went to the Holiday Inn and was very very happy. This place is the biggest dive obviously, they’re housing Kneff heads.

We got the wrong size bed/room. We were refused extra pillows the 1st night. The second night we asked for a roll away bed, which doesn’t even fit in the room! Had to put the mattress on the floor. The room and hallway had stinky odors.

Dirty rooms including the main dining area, awful beds, only allow 3 towels or pillows per room and won’t clean it unless requested. Overcrowded pool and drug deals in the parking lot.

We LOVED the water slide - my daughter went down it and we basically had the whole pool to ourselves so it was like unlimited water slide. She had so much fun we will definitely be back. Shout out to Billy & Michelle. Rooms were clean and comfy and we loved the whole place.

Stayed two nights with my dog, the potty area was full of cheetgrass and my dog is a magnet for it so we couldn't use the designated potty area. If you walk down the back street towards Les Schwab, they have a nice fully grassed potty area.

Upon check-in, the lady at the front desk was dealing with another gentleman you said he had to go get his glasses to sign the paperwork. He went outside for like 25 minutes and I waited on the couch no welcoming no hello I wasn’t even really sure what was going on. He came back his paperwork and still just sat there waiting like I was just trying to look pretty. I went up to the desk and was like can I check in?

We had a quick stop on theway home. My daughter played in the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub . It was perfect for our one night stay! Stuff at the pool watching are very responsible and friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I left an item, and they called me immediately to tell me and get it to me. Will stay again soon.

Decent room friendly staff

We enjoyed making our own waffles for breakfast. We loved having a lifeguard on duty. He kept everyone going down the water slide in an orderly fashion.(water slide open most evenings). In the morning, we had the pool just for us.

The price was good but the room was showing it's age and the tub was slimy and slippery. It's in need of an upgrade

The room was very old and run down. Smelled like mold, water damage in the bathroom. The doors were covered in dirt. Key card kept not working and had to get it reset multiple times. Was not told that the slide to the pool wouldn’t be open until 5. That was a disappointment.

Pros: The price is great, the location is in a good central proximity and many stores are within a short driving distance. A Grocery Outlet is opening directly next door, but wasn't yet complete during our stay. Costco is around the corner, it is close to the airport and the family fun center. The pool is the selling point! The slide is really fun and there is a lifeguard during slide hours. Breakfast is convenient and has everyone's favorite waffle makers. The room itself had enough space for us to spread out a little and has coffee, fridge, and microwave. Cons: Ant infestation in the room. I don't mean one or two, I mean trails from the floor up the wall to behind the TV, as well as by the window and A/C unit. Toilet was loose and rocked anytime we sat down. Breakfast had limited options. Overall would stay again if in town with the family.

The shuttle driver that took me to the airport on Friday morning, 4/3, was very new to driving and extremely cautious. The trip to the airport was okay, but took a long time to get there. The same trip with traffic would have been a little uncomfortable, but I'm sure he will get better with more practice.

Our room seemed dated but otherwise fine at first. We had a King Suite which is not typically a family room, so not as dirty as the room our friends got. The ants visited us on the third day, coming from behind the bed and the hot tub. We kept our garbage and food cleared so Im not sure why they even visited. The really alarming incident during our stay was at 3:55am when we woke to our neighbors in the midst of a loud fight with lots of loud shuffling in the room, as if a physical altercation was happening. Right next door on the other side of the wall. For fear they may have a firearm that can shoot through the wall, I call the front desk. Unfortunately, the male voice could not speak English and kept offering me a pillow until I demanded he call 911 and/or check the room and ask them to stop. He told me I should do it. Mind you I have only myself and my 13yr daughter in the room. Yes, I freaked out. It took at least 5 minutes for someone to arrive and knock on their door. The door opened long enough for the tenant to scream, "Go the F*CK away!" The disruption lasted over an hour while the cops continued to manage the situation. Never offered a new room that would be safer, or a refund for that night stay. No assistance offered or credit to the stay. Literally the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at with no safety standard for guests. I was never asked about the situation or contacted.

Floors were unclean. Had to wear socks. Reserved hotel solely for the water slide for kids. Turns out slide is closed on Wednesdays. This Should’ve been apparent before non refundable booking. Bed was very comfortable and nice working bathtub.

Maria at the front desk was amazing. She was friendly and very accommodating to any needs. Billy in the pool was Awesome, made the waterslide super fun and safe for everyone! Room could use some maintenance/ upgrades but stsff made our stay worth it.

Excellent place for the price

Things were falling apart. The room I was assigned smelled like a kennel. I had to hook up the toilet to even make it so it could even flush, the shower was dangerously slippery with no grip pads. The pool water was pretty off on its color and dingy. The food area though they provided stuff was too packed in and limited in space with very small options and most of them exhausted before even 9am

The first room that was provided smelt like there was a dead animal in it. The girl that was working switched me to another room that was definitely better. My main problem was I had to wake up at 3am because of an early flight. There was from around 11pm to the time my alarm went off a kid/s running and screaming up and down the hall that kept waking me up. At one point they even knocked and ran away on possibly my door or another next to mine. Either way it scared me so bad that I was up for at least an hour before I was able to go back to sleep. The only thing that I can say that was good was the kind lady who gave me a ride at 3:30 in the morning to the airport. She was very nice and helpful. Other than that, my stay was not pleasant.

I was highly disappointed. I reserved this hotel because it was my son's bday and we were excited about the pool and slide. When I went to check in there was a sign on the counter saying the pool was closed! No where on Expedia or their site did it say the pool was closed for maintenance. I had my 3 kids and two of their friends with us to celebrate and they were all hyped about swimming. I called Expedia and was told I could not get a refund and the hotel couldn't give me one either since I reserved the room on Expedia and not thru them personally. I asked if I could be comped a room for next time and still told no because I didn't cancel in time. But I had no intention to cancel until I got there and told about the pool. There was no reason to stay if the pool was closed. It was a Huge inconvenience and really disappointing for my son!

Initially checked in to an unclean room (garbage in room, bed unmade/used, dirty towels in room), and the front desk staff immediately and politely resolved and got us into another (clean) room. Hot tub also must have been down, as the water was cold, but no notices were up. We usually choose to stay here for the waterslide so the kids could still enjoy.

We had the pullout sleeper sofa in our room, and the only thing I would say is that I wish it had a cover. We did utilize sheets and put bedding on it but a cover that stays on it all the time seems like it would be more sanitary. This is our go to stay when visiting the Medford area!

Room I was in 228 had bed bugs we left immediately was told someone would call me and they didnt call me back and refused to return expedias calls i have photos and video of the bedbugs

Pool was a bit chilly but fun for the kids- appreciated the lifeguard on duty with all the kids using the slide.

The room was better than expected for the price, however the big letdown was we chose this place because of the pool and slide and when we arrived there were signs saying the pool was closed for maintenance. I did not see anything when I booked and neither did our friends who also booked for the same reason so when I asked about it I was told that all booking sites said the pool was not avaliable during this time so I went back and sure enough I did see it, but it was small print at the bottom of the page beyond where anyone would typically look. So yes, I guess they did say so but why wouldnt you put it at the top in bigger font? So I felt it was deceiving. Unfortunately for our kids and friends kids, they didn't have as good a time.

The staff was nice and the room was clean and pretty comfortable, my biggest complain is that i booked the room specifically because of the pool being the main attraction in the advertisement. My son is autistic and was shipper excited to go swimming for a day. We don't normally have much funds to have outings like this. I get things happen, i just think they should've let people know (especially ones with kids) before hand that the pool is closed for the week. Or at least compensate them in some way for the trouble. Anyhow, other than that it was a pretty nice stay

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well taken care of. There was an issue with the jacuzzi tub. Some unknown foamy plastic stuff thay looked like cottage cheese was coming out of the jets. Floating on top of the water. I took a sample to the reception. It was gross. It ruined the relaxing purpose of the tub.

The room felt neglected. It was out of date, and my comforter had cigarette burns all over it. When I pulled back the sheet, there was hair curled up in the fabric, and I had to get a fresh blanket from the front desk to use as a top layer over all the covers. The highlight was the staff. A nice lady (whose name I did not get) checked me in and out, and she was amazing! She remembered why I was visiting the area and asked about my trip. She was very pleasant and very welcoming, and warm. The next day, the housekeeping staff was just as friendly. The room is fine for the price, but for $20-$25 more, I'd stay elsewhere.

This place needs a serious update. For an overnight stay, will do in a pinch.

When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. She used my debit card for the room fee transaction, but when she tried to use the same card for the 'security deposit', my card was declined. I then gave her my CC, and it was also declined. She then asked if I had a 'hold' on the cards and said I could call my bank and have it removed.~ ~ After nearly an hour on the phone with my bank (hold times and being transferred from one department to another), my bank could find no indication that there had ever been an attempt for the $100 security deposit fee and my cards were OK to be used. I then drove to an ATM machine where I withdrew cash for the security deposit. An hour later, I drove back to the hotel and waited my turn in line. ~ The nice and still friendly receptionist was the only one on duty and there was a line. I actually felt sorry for her, since she was alone at the desk on a Friday night. ~ ~ And as for the room ... I spent several years as the Quality Assurance Inspector for a small hotel chain and was their "White Glove Room Inspector". I don't always expect perfection, but the floors in my room were dirty (especially around the edges), the desk, a night stand and the tv table all had sticky residue, the bed linens were extremely thin and worn, there were several long, dark hairs on the bath towel, and the chrome in the bathroom was very spotted and dirty. I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Our room was very clean and sheets smelled fresh. I would have liked another blanket but i didn't ask for one. Staff was very friendly and lifegard was so patient with a pool full of teen boys. Water slide was a blast. Rooms had fridge and microwave and coffee makers. Shower had nice water pressure

I had to clean the bathroom counter and shower as it had dried stuff on the counter and shampoo or something from a hand print in the shower. Also they claim to be updated but they have power cords and no usb ports. There also was debris on the carpet and tile and dirt around the bathroom door.

The kids enjoyed the pool, it’s warm and enjoyable apart from the young adults who were flying down the slide over and over and it made actually swimming in the pool unsafe for my younger kids due to the big splashing and speed they were coming down. But we didn’t complain as we weren’t staying long in the pool. The hot tub was also nice to use. This place works for a quick stop, and the location is great too for passing through!

I enjoyed the amenities including the jacuzzi in my room. However I have one strong negative point which is this. The WiFi says everything you would expect and the usual password was given. However, it doesn’t work ever! I finally realized that the super8 WiFi is just protocol but it is completely inoperative. I then spoke with manager face to face after three phone conversations about the matter. He is very nice but withholding every bit of information that would actually provide successful WiFi service. Finally, after complaining full on in front of other guests, he relented and asked to see my iPad and iPhone. I found out that the motels real WiFi service is a completely other service that only the manager has the passcode to. The Super8 WiFi is just a compliance facade and if you complain to management enough about zero WiFi in the rooms, they will connect you to the service with a password that they do not disclose to anyone. This mystery solved took me a full day to discover as management’s never transparent about anything.

Room was clean & spacious. Didn’t notice hearing any other guests through walls or floors, which allowed good sleep. Kids enjoyed the slide at the pool. Convenient location as well.

The morning desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. She did everything she could to make our stay stress free and pleasant. The hot tub helped ease the physical pains of travel and the kids loved the pool.

Our bed was completed clasped on one side. When we went to the front desk, they only willing to offer a small discount for our future stay. Why would I every want to go back to such a terrible place!! I called Expedia to file a complaint and for possible compensation. Expedia called the hotel, and got the answering saying there was nothing wrong. Such a big lie!!! I have video and pictures to show the condition of that bed. It was not just uncomfortable, it was not usable! you can't even sleep or sit on the it!! I'll definitely stay away from such a dishonest business. They don't really care about your comfort at all.

(ALL BOYS) ...and Our BabyGirl 16 months NEW... ...and the Warer Slide was a HIT with the Boys, especially the Youngest... theTwo year old

This hotel was amazing for the price. The slide in the pool was a blast for the entire family. My husband and daughter went on it over and over again. Beds were very comfortable, room was clean. The only thing that wasn't great was breakfast but it was ok.

Everything at the property was great. I am a little ocd and check a room when I stay somewhere. The jacuzzi tub was clean, but not to my standard for a jacuzzi, i clean always when I use one cuz yuck. Maids don’t have time to thoroughly clean one at any job, that I have ever worked in housekeeping. Behind the bed on the grounds was dirty and needed to be swept. Other than that it was great for our anniversary. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean and the bathroom was spotless. Will return. Do recommend the stay for the price.

We were going through town always being loyal to marriott. Super 8 has never been on our radar. This was a very pleasant stay, clean. Very happy with our stay. If you are not a super 8 stayer. Try it.

Clean and well maintained. We had an issue with our mini fridge leaking water all over the floor and the staff fixed it as quick as they could. For our entire stay the staff was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend as the place to stay.

Bed and pillows comfortable. Bathtub plug broken and wouldn’t drain water until I placed the shower gel container in it to keep it propped open. My problem with this is housekeeping had to notice this and should’ve reported to maintenance. Everything else okay.

For a place to just stay the night, its ok. Room was clean. Overall, it needs an updated overhaul. Both mine and another family member staying there, had broken door handles. TV did not work that well.

Just weird vibes everytime you walk by front desk. It's like they check you out to see if there's anything you have on your person that they can tell you you arent allowed to have. 'Comforter' had holes in it. They brought us a replacement as requested and that one was in just as bad shape. We threw them both on the floor. Room/property in general was worn down.

Front desk didn’t speak to my wife. Refused to let her check in for us or fill out paperwork. The parking lot was sketchy with shady looking people visiting staff at late hours. The hallways smelled like pee. The bedspread/tablecloth was very worn and felt like sandpaper. Only 3 small pillows on the bed.

I was prepared to come home with bedbugs from this place. Honestly, the sheets were clean, and I wasn’t afraid to sit on the toilet. However, the floors, the table tops, and the tub you could tell had not been cleaned. Sticky was on a table as well as the floor, and the shower had a lovely leak, which may have contributed to the weird “something” I found in there, but I wasn’t willing to explore further. I had a loveseat in my room, and I’m pretty sure I would have found a cleaner one, with less stains, sitting on the side of a road with a free sign. Ultimately the Night Shift team at the front desk was super nice, and it was fairly quiet. If I was asked if I would stay there again, it would be a no.

This was just an overnight on the way back home.

Clean, kind, affordable, easy location

Even though this is an older hotel, it is still very clean and well kept.

I did not stay! It was filthy and smelled disgusting! I got a horrible feeling in my stomach as soon as I pulled into the parking lot!! Everything out side was dead not one plant, grass, anything!! I was asked 5 times if I was going to be alone in the room! I felt very uneasy and started to shake! I went into the room the floors where disgusting! It smelled and there was an alarm clock on the table that had been taking apart and put back together with missing pieces! Very sketchy. I went done and said I didn’t want to stay there and wanted my money back. I had used a third party and paid prior but they charged a $150 incident fee and said it would be returned when I left. As of today they took out $188. I am so pissed!!

The linens were nasty, the pull out bed was broken, remotes had exploded batteries in them. Just in general disrepair

Parking is awful.

Staying here for many years. Feel welcome every time

I will not stay here at the Super 8 again.

Room was dirty, service was fine. Honestly for Super 8 it’s what you get paid for I guess.

Not boy’s loved the pool and our oldest really enjoyed the waterslide! Will definitely come back next visit to Medford

The room was gross when we walked in. There was sticky droplets next to the bed and bare feet prints throughout the room. It was definitely not mopped. There was also small trash around the bed. It wasn’t swept well at all either. Over all disappointed. Glad we mainly came for the pool. My kids had a blast

The pool was amazing. Super comfortable, but not fancy. Staff was great. Breakfast was good enough, the kids loved the waffles.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The building just needs some obvious TLC. I had a great encounter with every staff member working.

The room was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable. The desk staff were helpful and polite and we will definitely stay there again.

Made the reservation that included breakfast, but juices were out, missing cups, tea, etc.

They do a last minute deposit of 150$ that they don’t tell you about that takes about a week to clear once you have checked out of your hotel room. No other hotel I’ve been in does that

The breafast was good. Make your own waffles! Didnt use the pool, because it was too cold, since its indoors.. we got a room, that the A/C was broken. They moved us immediately. The staff is nice. I liked that the room has a fridge and microwave.

My room smelled like marijuana.

Our room smelt like stale cigarettes which was gross. Especially since the entire property is “smoke free”. There was also food splatters on the ceiling and on the wall above our mini fridge.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. Couldn't ask for much more.

When we got to the room, it needed some service. I talked to personal at the lobby and was given a new room. Very helpful thank you for the service.

Came in a day early was okay until the next day when we received a phone call at 2:00 am asking if we was going to be checking in. I had to o to the front desk to prove that I was there. Talked to manager the next day and got no apology was told that was policy. Will not stay here again.

My kid LOVED the pool and when our first rooms air conditioning didn’t work they moved us to another room and it was smooth sailing from there

Spent a couple of days in Medford with my family. The hotel was super comfortable and the staff courteous and professional. My kids really loved the water slide at the pool and my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely stay here again when in Medford next!

Friendly staff

We booked this place for the slide & although we were told it was open, the attendant said they couldn’t turn on because no lifeguard. Later ran into life guard who said he was in his room & never called. Room didn’t look like it was vacuumed before arriving. Seemed like skimping on all the wrong things. Stayed at your place in Redmond night before & it was great for the price.

Didn't tell us handicap parking and access was at the back of the building

1 light did not work No place to plug in my phone only the bathroom

It was ok. We asked for a new bedspread ours had something on it. Not sure if stain or not. Didn’t smell like the previous time we stayed there

The air conditioner was on the fritz. And despite getting maintenence up there they did nothing the room was hot and miserable. They also full charged me my deposit and refused to refund it to me even though i didnt leave a mess. The one bright side was the breakfast host was super nice and helpful.

As our stay was brief, we slept well and a staff member was helpful to get us to the airport very early in the morning.

I just love this place ~ It is always a safe haven for me for many years! They have cleaned up tho ~ everything has been refreshed ~ I enjoyed my stay (still am check out at 11) the new feature to check in early fir a 20 dollar fee was so beneficial for me ~ thank you!

This is not a great hotel. The pool and rooms were not clean. The toilet clogged and they gave me a plunger to fix it myself. The staff was pleasant.

The kids really enjoyed the indoor water slide

The top blanket was filthy with dry crusty something.
