The property is located well and clean . No issues .

Hands down the best value in Chambersburg. And I mostly stay at Hilton properties but because I am here so frequently to see a sick relative, I needed something more affordable. Hotel seems renovated, very clean, staff was friendly, everything worked, bed was comfortable, towels are new, breakfast was in line with what one would expect. The location is near a highway so you might hear the trucks but it’s a safe area and the hotel itself is quiet.

We always stay there when we come to Chambersburg and are always treated with kindness.

It was very pleasant stay clean and well maintained my only concern was the bathtub felt a little slippery and there were no grab bars or soap holder things to hang on to

The location was nice and they have remodeled the hotel which is nice. The common area was nice and plenty of seating for breakfast. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had to switch rooms due to issue with the shower. The 2nd room was better but both rooms had issues with the toilet seats that are cheap and don't stay in place, they slide around alot which is very uncomfortable. The beds are on platforms and they are not securely in place so the bed slides alot when you sit on it and the metal bed frame that the bed sits on is uncomfortable and can hurt your legs so this was always a concern when getting in and out of the beds. We have stayed in numerous Best Westerns before and were a little disappointed with these issues. Overall we had a nice stay but these are issues the hotel should consider to correct to retain repeat visitors.

The Chambersburg PA Best Western is my go-to stop on trips up north. It has always proven to be reliable for consistency in cleanliness, comfort and overall quality. The staff is friendly, helpful and articulate which I find to be a big plus in the service industry. My room is always immaculate and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast is very pleasing to wake up to. The dining area was renovated in the past year and looks magnificent. It shows what pride the management takes in keeping their hotel a number one stay for travelers. I highly recommend this Best Western to all who come that way.

Breakfast was basic but expected. Would prefer English muffins as a bread choice. The room lighting was rather stark with the no shade options. Better suited for common areas? I do like lots of lighting in room, just softer. Pillows could be improved too, (one firm one soft).

For a budget hotel, our double queen bed room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well-maintained with nice chairs and tables -- not just plastic things around a cheap unsteady table. Everyone was polite. We would stay again.

We arrived very late (or rather very early in the morning) so there may not have been many rooms left but we were at the end of the building nearest I-81 and there was a lot of road noise, which prevented deep sleep. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, they are pet friendly though we did not have pets. There was a nice looking breakfast the next morning: waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, toasts and muffins. For the price it was good, if we stayed again we’d request a room in the middle or near the lobby.

The Expedia website is wrong and says they allow 18 yo to check in. My 19 yo tried to check in and was refused because the hotel policy is 21. This is a huge problem because very few hotels allow 18 yo to check in and she was left without a hotel. I am very angry with Expedia.

This was by far the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed in. The halls reak of dog pee, the walls are lined with those timed scents sprays- so the halls smelt like cinnamon scented dog pee. Then someone kept cooking curry every day- it was just awful. The hotel has no sound proofing, so you can hear all of the trucks from the highway. The lights that shine on the building actually shine right into the windows, so at night there are just bright lights pointed directly into the room. I could keep going, stay away.

It’s good value for the price with a very low pet deposit ($15). Staff were great. Clean, safe. It is very near the interstate. Did not bother me as it served as grey noise but could definitely be heard. Lots of contractors so you’re going to hear them coming and going at odd hours.

I have stayed here several times during our travels north. The hotel has been renovated quite nicely. Lobby bathrooms are now fully renovated as well and breakfast area is clean and spacious. Breakfast is simple but on par with what is offered in similar hotels. I appreciated the strong coffee. Our room was impeccably clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows not my favorites but i always take my own. While it is a pet friendly hotel you would never know it. There is no pet odors but this may be because they do offer pet free rooms which is what i requested. Reception staff very polite. The rate is great for the quality of the property. I've recommended this property before and continue to recommend it as long as they maintain the present level of upkeep and cleanliness.

I only down side was that I think it's time they start updating the mattresses. The first 2 nights I woke up at 4 because my back ached. The other bed turned out to be much more comfortable.

Check in was good from there end. Expedia was treble. The money wasn’t in there account. No one from Expedia could fix it so we had to cancel the reservation and I had to pay the hotel direct which cost me $49.00 more. Still have not seen the refund to my account from Expedia

For example, the shower in this hotel was abysmal. It barely worked due to a plumbing issue. I could only get a trickle out of the shower head. The room itself was tacky and rather dismal. I don't think they light the rooms well, so you don't see the fact that the decor hasn't been updated since the 1960s.

Has everything you need in a budget hotel including laundry room. The front desk received a package for me before I arrived with no issues, which I really appreciated.

There was a strong odor of animal urine which got worse each day, making it hard to breathe. It is a dog friendly hotel and we have a dog but didn't expect the overwhelming smell. It was also very noisy, from the road noise and one of the neighboring rooms (room 159) had their TV very loud until 3:00 am.

This is our second night staying here. It was our first night,now it is our last night. Repeated because it was so clean and lovely. Great property.

This property has been completely renovated and was very lovely and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Just general suggestions for motels… there are never enough towel racks for damp towels. It would also be nice to have a safety handle in every bathroom for the shower/tub combination. I am not handicapped but stepping over the tub into shower can sometimes be tricky. But again, this property was great.

When we got to the hotel the person behind the desk told me my credit card was declined. I knew that was impossible plus I showed them that I had the confirmation from hotels.com that it was paid for. They then told me I should contact hotels.com because they were not paying the hotel so I would need to provide other payment. I contacted hotels.cok who was super helpful and called the hotel twice. We did finally get in but

It was perfect for our quick overnight trip. Things were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t realize when we booked but the surrounding area has everything you could possibly need access to (restaurants, convenience stores, shopping). Will absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was renovated very nicely, and at first glance, it looked promising. However, the cleanliness was extremely disappointing. The bathroom curtain looked like it hadn’t been changed or cleaned in weeks. The bedsheets, pillows, and pillowcases were dingy and visibly dirty. When I lifted the sheets, there was a large yellow stain absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary. It’s disturbing to think someone is expected to sleep in someone else’s bodily fluids. The headboard was also dusty. This hotel could be a 10 out of 10 if they simply cleaned properly. As for the breakfast I didn’t even bother. If the room was that dirty, I wasn’t about to trust the cleanliness of the food. Would I stay here again? Not unless they seriously improve their cleaning standards.

Just not clean. Carpets, flooring, tub, bathroom molding...all were visibly dirty. We come to Chambersburg for overnight stays frequently. This is our first time staying here. There are multiple options within minutes that may be a few dollars more, but knowing that you are staying somewhere that is clean is worth an extra $20.

The whole first floor hallway smells like dogs. We reserved 4rms. 3/4 smelled decent. 1 smelled like the dogs of a thousand years had used it as their fire hydrant. The SMELL woke me up in the night multiple times. Unfortunately there were no vacancies elsewhere or I would have gone somewhere else. Attendant was nice but couldn’t help. Parking is also minimal.

It's run by a very nice family. I left my Kindle in my room and they called right away so I was able to come back and get it.

This property is well cared for. It is an older property, but in great shape. Everything worked in the room and parking was very convenient. The website indicates that the front desk closes at midnight, however, I called and the front desk actually closes at 2 AM. I made my reservation and called back and they confirmed for me which was wonderful. Great property.

Most comfortable beds and pillows we slept in at a hotel!! The only complaint we have is you can hear the trucks on I-81 and no bottle water in the room other than that it was a great stay!

The outside of the hotel looks a bit old so I was worried upon my arrival how the rooms would look. But the rooms looked great! The pool is outside so it can get cold later at night. The breakfast was decent but limited options, however for the price you pay and the convenient location it is a great option. The staff is always at the desk and was polite.

This hotel was so loud. Each door slams every time you close it. Our neighbors got home at 10:30, the slamming doors woke us up, we could hear their entire conversations and the tv thru the wall. We had a long drive the next day. Being up past midnight was not part of the plan. Would not recommend staying there. Plenty of hotels in the area to choose from.

Toilet seat was not secure. Towels were not of good quality. Other than those two things the property was clean and the staff was friendly.

This property is an unexpected surprise for this price point. The hotel has been tastefully renovated with attention to details. Rooms are clean and quite spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, I appreciated the third towel in a king room since most hotels are putting two. The staff was courteous and professional and accommodated my profile requests. We had the opportunity to stop in Chambersburg on our return trip and we didn't hesitate to book this hotel so both my experiences were very positive. Definitely recommend this property and will be staying again next time im traveling on i81

Guests in room beside us made noise, kids banging on walls, screaming, loud voices until almost 1 am. entire reason to use hotel was to get a good nights rest. other guests were cooking in rooms, hallway smelled of what ever they were cooking. Shower divertor not working properly, low water pressure to shower. Not a good stay, will find another hotel on our next trip through,

The property has undergone a major upgrade and the results are great. This is our go to destination on our trips south.

Hotel isn't far from the highway making it a great stop for our one night stay for our roadtrip. Breakfast was good, but could have had some more options. Room was a decent size, but could have been a bit cleaner. Staff was friendly and great to work with. Great stay for the price.
